by Mallory Monroe

Because it wasn’t about the music for Gloria. It was about the man. The Hee Haw gang could have been singing, and Gloria would have still got on that dance floor.

And everybody was watching, including her proud brother Teddy, as Oz and Gloria danced the night away.

Oz looked at her, as they slow-dragged. “Are you happy, Gloria?” he asked her.

  “I am, yes.”

  “Truly happy?”

  “Truly happy.”

Oz grinned that roguish, beautiful grin. “Then that’s all there is to it, isn’t it?” he asked.

Gloria was grinning too. “Yes,” she said. “That’s all there is.” And he held her tighter in his arms, and she leaned into him.

She didn’t know what tomorrow would hold for them. Oz had that other life, and there was nothing going to be easy about it. And his larger-than-life personality, and the women that loved his personality, was going to be a challenge too. But she knew one thing for sure. She knew with Oz, there was going to be lots of laughs. He was going to keep her in stitches. And that, for Gloria, was worth the ride all by itself.
