“Well, you’ll never get this chance again,” it hurled back maliciously. The two warred with one-another trading strikes, the whip lashing beside Viden’s face.
“You think you and your Earth own this reality, you have no idea,” it commented harshly.
Meanwhile, Viola was wandering through the facility which controlled the Saturn sun. She knew where her target was located, but must get there alive first. Androids roamed past her, she had a weapon in hand poised to strike, these androids ignored her presence. A transmission was sent from one program to another.
“Intruder in sector 51,” it described. The machine warriors embarked on an investigation. Other defensive androids were now in pursuit. Viola continued through a corridor and was shot in the back of the shoulder, she turned instantly and fired upon the aggressor, which fell motionless.
“Damn it,” she remarked. She prodded her wound, a singed metallic hole in her body. She poked her head around the corner and four androids guarded the entrance of the room she needed to enter. She analysed the situation, she fired a barrage of shots at the group, defeating two of them.
“Come on!” she remarked aloud, the two remaining guards approached her, poised to fire. She looked to the ground nearby where the previous guard lay, there was a stun grenade on its person. She snatched it quickly and threw it around the corner. In the confusion, she killed the two remaining guards.
She rushed into the room; the two machine guards were awaiting her presence. The two menacing androids were equipped with an electric axe inspired weapon, she fired upon them, but this weapon could deflect the blast. She threw the weapon to the ground and grabbed a similar weapon from one of the dead guards in the doorway.
She activated the weapon and launched an attack. She needed to pull a single lever at the back of the room on a control panel. She leapt in the air attacking both guards simultaneously, landing on the other side of them. She stepped backward, edging closer to her target, the two guards attacked in motion at either side of her. She managed to defend the attack for now. Enki primed her for such a fight. They pushed her further back, she glanced backward, 10 yards away from the target.
“Viden, I’m not going to make it,” she remarked in the com link.
“What! No, V don’t go, I need you!” he pleaded gravely, his duel halted momentarily.
“Don’t make this harder than it needs to be,” she remarked harshly, trying to obscure the fact that she was scared and cared. He smirked slightly at her rash demeanour.
“You’ll be fine,” he responded hopefully. He can’t lose her, she may be a machine, but she was his best friend right now.
She continued to step back, intently watching her enemies. She turned in an instant and rushed to the control panel, the guards right behind her. She pulled the lever.
“I love you!” she screamed. The guards swiped her from behind, electrocuting and destroying her systems. She slammed the ground motionless.
“V,” he said gravely. There was no response. “V,” he murmured, a tear came to his eye as he realised her demise.
As cold as she tried to act to the world, she felt a connection to Viden, he was her best friend. She tried ever so hard to hide that, hiding the vulnerability one feels when they care deeply for another.
“Pathetic,” the Demiurge remarked. “Perhaps it’s worse to let you exist, to fester in your anguish,” it said disgusted. The pulling of this lever allowed fusion to continue as normal, destroying the technology managing and protecting the facility. Various androids panicked, attempting to contain the expanding core of the dwarf star. Rage filled Viden’s heart, Sophia sensed it.
“Viden, don’t let it win, you must let go of the aggression, it’s what it feeds off!” she exclaimed, wishing he heeded her words. He ignored her and stepped forward to the mixed emotion of the Demiurge.
He continued forward, the Demiurge stepped back.
“I’ll destroy you!” Viden roared.
“Viden, no, don’t do this, please!” she begged.
“Good, use that hate, that anger!” it snarled at him. They engaged in combat again. “I can give you what you desire,” it said, trying to entice Viden, who almost considered for the briefest of moments. “I can bring her back, gift you divine power, submit to me and the Draco will bow before your grandeur,” it said, further trying to entice him. Viden’s mind wandered for a moment, memories and fantasies of a life with Mara flourished in his mind. The thoughts of the brutes that have terrorized him for lifetimes, kneeling at his feet, as he knelt at theirs. He breathed deeply, flustered in his thoughts. The Demiurge sensed his conflict and desires, despite his state of Gnosis, he was still impacted by his past experiences, still stuck in mind, in body.
“Never!” he hurled back with fury.
On Earth Sophia was in her natural form of pure essence, she was guiding Viden from afar, but the terror of her people radiated the chambers.
“The Demiurge’s forces have found us!” someone yelled. She felt the terror throughout, she entered her human form and emerged from the fluid-like partition. everyone looked to her with hope. She disappeared, and formed at the transportation hub. She glanced up toward the surface, tens of machines scurried through the corridor. They have penetrated her protective field. She yelled and drove a force towards them from her hands, destroying them all.
Again, she disappeared, forming at the surface on the planet. The dark ominous cloud was amassing her entire planet, flying machines were leaching through the atmosphere like parasites wrecking a biological body. She felt them tearing holes in the fabric of the Earth. She released a terrifying cry, falling to her knees. A massive forcefield emitted from her body, the entire earth reverberated a pulse of extraordinary power. So much so, it almost destroyed her. The pulse fried the computational systems of the machines, destroying all of them. The black mass jerked back off the atmosphere and faded away.
In the simulation the Alliance ships formed a central mass to protect their Admiral. He had the key to the destruction of Patsule. Only a few Draco ships remained, but they still outnumbered the Alliance. The ships exited the atmosphere and were bombarded by the Draco forces. Many perished, but gave the Admiral enough time to move within firing range. The Moab device is an anti-matter missile with enough anti-matter to dent a small planet. It has enough power to destroy a station the size of Patsule. The Admiral prepared the targeting system. Elohim on the bridge spotted the ships in the distance and realised their plan. He threw the captain beside out of the way.
“Stop that ship!” he roared, pointing toward the large central capitol ship that Admiral Val was aboard.
“Fire.”
A gargantuan explosion, as bright as a thousand suns obscured the view of all who gazed in the direction of the station. The surface of the station was ripped away, a hole the size of a third of its diameter sank deep into its core. All systems were destroyed, and all occupants wiped away in an instant. Tons of debris emitted from the blast in all directions. The debris field clashed into the Alliance ships destroying most, all Draco forces nearby are also caught in the debris field. The destruction of the engines and control system prevented the station from moving. It began to fall toward the planet. The gravity of Sirius B pulled the station towards it. Admiral Val stood after being thrown to the ground upon impacting the debris field. He watched the remains of the station fall into the planet, his eyes told it all. The impact threw an even larger debris field in his direction, he closed his eyes, accepting death.
“The Alliance have fell, including your friends,” the Demiurge stated. It wavered its arm, a thunderous noise emitted behind Viden. He causally turned his head to investigate. The wall separated, revealing a large holographic projection of the battle ensuing within the simulated reality.
“Look!” it remarked harshly, pointing its arm and weapon toward the projection. Viden observed the devastation, a deep sadness took his heart. He pivoted back to the Demiurge, who stood unphased. He scanned the projection
once more, the Sirius system completely destroyed, along with the last Alliance defences.
“Your Alliance fought valiantly, they may have destroyed my Draco elders, but now we have completed our final phase, all of the prisoners will be enslaved and farmed, there is nothing you can do to stop it,” it commented.
Viden became enraged again, he slashed and smashed the Demiurge repeatedly. It continued to retreat, struggling to defend against the flurry of strikes. Viden slashed the Demiurge in the leg, it fell to one knee. Suddenly a horrific sensation forced him to the ground before he could deal the final blow. The hand of the Demiurge blasted out a frequency, the same frequency, only stronger, which almost subdued the entire Earth. He screamed, grasping his head in agony. The Demiurge stood over him.
“I should have done this the first time, but since Enki is dead, I need a replacement,” it beckoned. He tried to fight it with all his might. “Join me, become an Archon,” it stated. Viden struggled to move, his eyes bursting with pain and anger, he returned to his feet with difficulty. 8 Ethereal essences appeared behind the Demiurge, looming over him. He recognised one, the same battle mask of Anu covers its face. The frequency raised, he screamed, falling to one knee. “I can offer you everything you desire,” the Demiurge added gently. “Submit,” it snarled.
Viden swiped his weapon as hard as he could in the direction of the Demiurge, it was a pampering whimper.
“Resilient I must say,” it remarked. “What if I could show you, your future?” the Demiurge pondered to him, whilst he writhed around in pain. It altered the frequency, terrible visions seeped into Viden’s mind, horrific visions. “See the future, see what you will become!” it yelled maliciously.
He pleaded and begged, as the visions tore his mind apart. He saw; the Earth, it was burning, its being scathed by twisted demons. Multiple ethereal entities draped in black, faces covered by terrifying masks assault Sophia. She struggled to defend them. He turned back, Mara lay at his feet begging him for mercy, begging him to stop, his arm is the same ethereal darkness. He raised his blade to deal the final blow.
“No!” he squealed, begging for the visions to stop, begging for the torture to end.
Anu and another came forth. Sophia could feel the immeasurable discomfort and pain in Viden’s soul, she mustered up all her strength and disappeared. In an instant, she materialised beside Viden at the Saturn station. He was keeled over on the ground about to be apparently slain by the two Archons. She deflected the frequency from herself with great difficulty, and attacked the two Archons ahead.
“Well, well, if it isn’t the Earth itself,” the Demiurge remarked. “Kill her!” the Demiurge commanded. The 8 Archons began an assault.
“You will never win!” she screamed. With weapons of her own she fended off the horde of monsters. The Demiurge received a transmission discussing the failure to withstand the expanding core of the Saturn sun.
“Enough!” it yelled, it attacked Sophia intently with its minions. She was forced back, she glanced toward Viden who was still being bombarded by the frequency.
“Viden, go! Quickly,” she urged, wishing he would escape, but he couldn’t.
“He’s mine now,” the Demiurge said callously. Unable to resist she fell to the ground defeated and overwhelmed, Viden looked to her. Viden ripped his mask away hoping he could die, he wouldn’t. His eyes a bursting red with intense darkness, evil itself twisting his mind. She saw deep into his soul. It is immeasurable.
“I’m so sorry,” she said, she dematerialised before the blade of the Demiurge reached her.
They all turned towards Viden.
“You cannot resist it forever,” Anu said. They all aided their master
“Come with me, child,” Sera said with an outstretched arm to him. Viden groaned with agony, his hand wandered forward slightly towards her.
“It is the only way,” another added.
Viden eventually submitted and joined the Archons. Unable to resist the darkness anymore, it enveloped him. He transformed into the same ethereal essence as the Archons, dawning the mask of Anu-Krai.
“Excellent,” the Demiurge said valiantly, ecstatic at his new addition. A wormhole opened nearby, they all walked through.
Viden reborn Kraiden, Archon and servant of the Demiurge, followed his master through the wormhole.
The Saturn sun, reborn, enveloped the station and destroyed the rings projecting the frequency band towards the Earth. The matrix structure finally destroyed. Sophia re-materialised on Earth, her heart tainted with sorrow. The humans were free at last, they return to the source consciousness, free of the illusion. Viola’s sacrifice, freeing humanity from servitude.
The Earth at last flourished again, luscious plants emerged from the dead, deceased surface of the planet. Colours on all wavelengths scoured the surface, lifeforms sprouted, living in harmony. An eco-system in balance, at least for now.
People emerged from the fluid-like partition, free of the illusion they could live a life that was meant to be. Each person a unique expression of consciousness, with true knowledge of their origins. They glanced toward the star light, the twin suns, the crescent shining bright once more. Mara strolled out, but she couldn’t find Viden, she walked toward Sophia who stood gazing at the starlight nearby.
“Mother Earth, where is Viden, where is my soulmate?” she asked, with despair and worry. She pivoted toward Mara.
“I failed him,” she responded, with tears in her eyes. A wormhole opened nearby, an unknown being came forth. Mara and Sophia gulped heavily.
The war for Earth, the war for existence itself was about to begin.
Volume Three
Serving the Will of the Demiurge
Chapter 1
The unknown figure shrouded in a long graceful, grey garment stood silent across from Sophia and Mara.
“Who are you?” Sophia demanded, unnerved by the presence of this being. The individual removed the hood revealing a foreign entity, an entity whose skin was a ghostly white, eyes the colour of a pure blue ocean. Its lanky figure loomed over them, a slit for a mouth, but it smiled peacefully towards them, reducing their anxiety.
“I am from another realm, we’ve been watching you Sophia, you are very resilient,” it stated in a soft voice. Mara glanced towards Sophia eagerly awaiting a response.
“How? You’ve been watching us?” she said, uncomfortable by the individual’s words.
“Yes, perhaps I misspoke in your language but, our source wishes for you to know the truth.” They glanced between one another. Mara answered quickly.
“Source?” she said.
“Yes, come with me,” he said. He returned through the wormhole which persisted behind him. They followed through nervously. With no idea on what could lie on the other side of this portal.
They entered a thriving world, vibrant with life. Some areas defied the very laws of their universe, in places meta-physical matter looped, gravity dissipated.
“Welcome to Ederra,” he said.
“This is impossible,” Sophia remarked, flabbergasted by what she saw. They analysed the environment intently.
“You manipulate matter in your realm, do you not?” he questioned.
“Yes, but this is, this is something else,” she responded. Pathways loomed upwards into the sky, people walking upwards, their bodies in some instances, contorted in weird and vibrant ways. Various types of lifeforms roamed freely, and in harmony with one another. Other conscious intelligences from many different realities.
“I thought that we were alone,” Sophia said.
“Far from it, our mother told me that you chose to live without the knowledge of your creation, before you created your own reality. Others took the same choice too, please call me Adama,” he said.
They followed him whilst he walked towards a large, spherical construction nearby. It towered miles in the sky, exotic stonework littered its appearance. It combined seemingly earthly stone with technology. They walked in awe atop the flowing
silver staircase.
“Do you know of the Demiurge?” Sophia said. His demeanour changed. His spirit sank almost.
“Yes,” he said begrudgingly. “Do you wish to know the truth young ones?” he added. They glanced to one another.
“Yes,” Mara said eagerly.
“Follow me,” he said. They strolled through a lengthy corridor within the construction and through a waving fluid ahead. They emerged in another place entirely. A clear landscape, pale and bland, a desert. There was a luminous light in the distance.
“What’s that? What is this place?” Sophia questioned.
“The Source of all life, creation itself, consciousness,” he said enticingly.
“The Source is within all of us, is it not?” Mara questioned.
“Yes, from a certain point of view,” he answered with a grin.
“A certain point of view?” Sophia questioned, “Is everything I know wrong?” she questioned solemnly.
“No, but you are still young, that is why you must know the truth because you resisted the Demiurge.”
“He did,” Sophia said solemnly. He sensed the guilt and sorrow radiate from the two.
“And by extension you, all consciousness comes from the one, from her,” he said, gesturing to the infinity ahead.
“What about Viden, what happened to him?” Mara asked, she must know the truth and how to save him. He rubbed his head begrudgingly.
“The individual you speak of is gone; he has become an agent of evil,” he said abruptly. He began to walk away, the distant light was almost upon them, it amassed around them.
“But why?” Mara cried quietly.
“In time, you will know,” he responded soberly. Sophia held Mara’s hand as the light surrounded them, it enveloped them.
Suddenly, they were surrounded by white, endless white, nothingness. They scanned the environment with their eyes looking for something, anything. A bright pulsating light suddenly appeared ahead of them, it spoke, and, in a language they understand.
