Noemy: The Forbidden Goddess Page 8

  “Oh shit, please.”

“Is that a yes, baby? Say it. Let me hear you say it,” he groaned against my ear.

He continued to stroke my bud, and the pressure felt like I would explode at any minute.

“Yes!” I cried out, collapsing against his chest, trying to regain my composure. I pushed against his chest, rushing into the bathroom, and I slammed the door closed behind me. I quickly locked the door, pacing back and forth in front of the mirror. Topez didn’t change my mind, not one bit. He only made my conviction to get to my mother even worse. Sex was never going to work with me, and ultimately, it only pissed me off that my treacherous body reacted the way it had to him. Little did he know, I would find a way to save my mother, with or without his help.

“What the hell did you do!” I yelled, peering down at Asha.

Everything about her just pissed me off more than I wanted to admit. It wasn’t just that she went and had a child with the man I was meant to be with, but she was always given more than me! This man was made for me, yet fate helped her have the first child with more powers. It wasn’t enough that she was always at the top of our class and had the power to heal. Everything just always happened in her favor, but this time around, she would lose!

“As much as I would love to tell you I had something to do with it, I didn’t. Maybe it’s just fate stepping in to correct the shit show you’re trying to create.” She laughed.

Cocking my hand back, I slapped her so hard her neck cocked back in the other direction. But still, the smirk was on her face as if it didn’t faze her one bit.

“Get her out of here! Her daughter will be here soon. Mark my words, and we will see if that smirk will still be there!” I yelled at the guards holding her up.

She stumbled over her feet as the guards dragged her out of the room. I had been keeping her weak since she got here; I didn’t need her messing up everything I had planned. I have been giving Ra pieces of the poisonous Rubella flower, weighing him down more and more each day. Storming down the hall, I made my way to our bedroom. A warmth replaced the anxious feeling in my stomach as I watched Ra lying weakly in the center of the bed, almost as if he only had a few moments left to live. It wasn’t that I didn’t love him, but I loved my children more. When I found out he created a child with her, it was like my love for him slowly began to fade. But I knew all I had to do was tell him to get rid of her and that little girl. It was my right, after all, as his true soulmate! But he warned her to run before the guards could kill her and that little girl. Ra thought I didn’t know, but I did!

Strolling over to the side of the bed he lay on, I reached out to grab his hand.

“How are you feeling?” I asked, sitting alongside him on the bed.

His eyes fluttered open and closed once more. Clearing his throat, he peeled his eyes open once more as they stayed attached to my face.

“Like death. What the hell did you think, Serafina? Do the doctors know what’s going on with me?”

“They still can’t put their finger on what’s taking place. Maybe it’s just your time to leave us.”

“What the hell are you talking about? You get the healers in here now and let me speak to them myself!” he yelled.

“I’m sorry, my dear mate, but I am the one in charge now. Let’s take it as a trade of your life for your child and side piece,” I responded, stepping back from the bed.

Coughing, he cupped his hand against his mouth as he tried to pull his body into a sitting position, only to become winded and lie back against the pillows.

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“Do you truly believe me to be that stupid? I knew that night many years ago you warned Asha to leave before our guards scoured her home. I didn’t know that night, but I found out not long after from the head of our GPP. He knew it didn’t make any sense that she would be able to get out of there as quickly as she did. Now, here I am, trying to rectify the situation that you screwed up!” I yelled, pacing back and forth.

“This is not”—he coughed—“necessary. She doesn’t even know what she is capable of.”

“Well, she does now! Amber and Jaseon have seen her in action. She has to go for the sake of Ruella, and we will not have a child like her running anything around here. I will not stand for it. That position is rightly due to my children, not some child you brought into this world because you couldn’t wait on your true soulmate!” I fumed.

“Is that why you’re doing all of this? All because I had a child before I had ever laid eyes on you? Have you lost your mind?”

“No, but you have nothing to worry about. You will never get the chance to set eyes on her besides in the afterlife!” I yelled, storming out of the room.

The moment I walked out of the room, I nearly bumped right into Jaseon, who looked as if he had a lot on his mind.

  “What’s wrong, son?”

“Is all of this necessary? Noemy is a nice girl, and she would have never come back here to get any position. I think this has all gone too far,” he responded, stroking the back of his neck.

Gripping his arm, I pulled him away from his father’s door, not wanting him to overhear our conversation.

“It is entirely necessary. Who do you think will receive the ultimate power once your father dies? Her! Who do you think they will crown as ruler over Ruella? Her! If you feel as if you cannot handle the decisions that have to be made to move our family into the roles we belong in, tell me now!” I whispered harshly.

“I can handle it,” he mumbled.

  “I can’t hear you!”

“I said I could handle it.”

Releasing the hold I had on his arm, he rushed off around me in the opposite direction. I didn’t know where the hell he got that soft heart from because Amber was the complete opposite. It was as if they were night and day! Jaseon didn’t realize that all of this was being done for him! Not only that, talking to Ra only made my conviction even stronger. My children would be at the top if it was the last thing I did.

Standing in front of the mirror, my grandfather’s words rang in my ears over and over. You have the power to get yourself to Ruella without any portals. I should have asked how, but here I was, pacing in this bathroom with the door locked, trying to figure out just how I would save my mother. A light knock resounded at the door. I knew it was Topez, but I didn’t want to hear what he had to say.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to handle it the way I had. I want you to be safe. You don’t know how my world is, and I don’t want you in danger,” he spoke through the door.

Fired up again, I walked over toward the bathroom door, pulling it open.

“Are you telling me that I don’t have a right to help in saving my mother? I want to make sure we’re on the same page before I get more pissed off than I already am.”

I should have just kept the door closed. The way his eyes ate up every inch of my frame should’ve been illegal. I crossed my arms across my chest to hide the hardening of my nipples from his view. His signature smirk arose on his face, so I knew he had already seen before I covered my chest.

“It’s not that I think you shouldn’t be involved. I want to keep you safe. Is it so wrong of me to want that for you?” he asked, fingering a loose curl from the front of my face behind my ear.

“I appreciate you worrying about my well-being, but I am not the kind of woman to sit on the sidelines and hide behind a man to protect me. I get that I am not familiar with your land, but show me. Help me get my mother back,” I pleaded.

“Ugh, I have to have lost my damn mind, but okay. Let’s do it! But if we’re going to do this, we have to do it my way. No heroics, Noe. You hear me?”

Jumping into his arms, I wrapped my arms around his neck, placing a series of kisses on his cheeks.

“Thank you for giving me a chance. So when do we leave? I’m ready to learn all there is to know about Ruella.” I walked out of the bathroom with Topez on my heels.

  “Let me show yo
u something,” he said, taking my hand into his own.

He brought me down the hall to another room at the end of the hall, pulling the door open to a panoramic picture that spanned from one end of the room to the other. It showcased a world surrounded by clouds; vibrant pinks and purples sparkled from it. I stood gazing in awe. Looking over my shoulder, Topez was perched against the world with a smile.

  “How?”

Stepping off from the wall, he made his way over to stand next to me.

“I’ve been building this place for years in the hope that one day I would find you and be able to share this place with you. But let me show you why I brought you here. It wasn’t just to show you how beautiful our homeland is, but how we’re going to get in undetected.”

“Well, about that, I didn’t get the chance to tell you about everything that happened last night. After I left that cold dungeon, I ended up in a warm place with large gold pillars and marble floors, and out walked my maternal grandparents. My grandfather let me know at that moment that I had the power to go back to my homeland without portals. I don’t know what that means, but according to him, I can get there myself.”

We stood staring at one another for a moment. A loud knock resounded at the door before Raz and Loren made their way into the room.

“Oh shit, this is nice as hell,” Raz added, craning his neck from left to right to get a good view.

Loren stayed silent the entire time, only looking around with no change of expression. I noticed he never really spoke or made any fast moves. If he weren’t as tall as he was, you wouldn’t even know he was present. He held an air of mystique about him, while Raz was a ball of energy. You had no choice but to realize he was present.

“So what’s the plan? If we’re going to do this, it will have to be now!” Raz spoke up.

“Y’all would help me to get my mother back?” I asked.

“Of course, after you saved my life. I meant it when I told you just to say the word.”

“Well, now that we got that under control, how the hell are we getting in?” Loren asked.

Topez grabbed a remote to change the view of Ruella, showing the different ways you could get into Ruella without being detected. We went on and on, trying to figure out where to come in and how we would get out. Finally, we had everything together. We decided that we would go late tonight instead of waiting until the morning. Making our way up to the room, he took me into the closet, which revealed different sizes of shirts for a woman.

“Whose clothes are these? I’m not getting ready to wear another woman’s clothes that you have been sleeping with,” I said, pointing at the clothes he had hung up inside the closet.

Laughing, he strolled over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and placing a kiss against my neck.

“What’s so funny? I’m not playing. Whose stuff is this, Topez?”

“It’s yours. Nobody has ever been to this house but me. I guess I just got lucky because these look like they will fit you perfectly. But relax, no other woman has been here,” he responded, walking around me to lay different choices against the top of the counter in the closet.

  “Sure,” I laughed.

Taking my chin into the palm of his hand, he returned my attention to him.

“I have no reason to lie. When I tell you something, I mean just that.” Staring deeply into my eyes, his finger began to caress my chin.

Dropping his hand, he turned to leave out the room. Reaching out to grab his hand before he left, I pulled him flush against me. Gripping his shirt between my fingertips, I tilted my head back in invitation, and he gladly obliged. Wrapping my arms around his neck hungrily, I kissed him like he was going off to war and I wouldn’t see him tomorrow. Feverishly, we began to strip each other of every article of clothing we had on. Slowly, his eyes appraised my frame as he lifted me into his arms bridal style. Carrying me into the bedroom, he gently eased me onto the bed before spreading my thighs, placing sweet kisses from my ankle to my inner thigh, causing my body to go up into a flame with every stroke of his lips against my body. I could barely sit still.

He finally made it to my sweet center as his tongue dipped in between my folds, causing a moan to slip between my lips, sucking my pearl. I gripped his dreads tightly. It didn’t stop anything; it only made him go harder.

  “Oh shit!” I cried out.

His body moved to partially cover mine as his eyes began to shine that startling gray I had gotten so used to seeing. It seemed as if the moment his eyes changed colors, that supreme feeling took over my body, but this time, I was able to control everything. I knew my eyes were no longer my usual gray but a turbulent blue.

“Are you sure? Once we go here, there is truly no turning back,” he spoke through short breaths.

I nodded my head in understanding, as he leaned back to stroke his thick length. Rubbing his thick head between my moist folds, he teased my entrance before begging for entry into my tight pussy. I squeezed my eyes closed as the waves of pain washed over me followed by the sweet, tender kisses he placed against my lips as he slowed up his strokes to allow my body time to adjust to his length. Slowly, the pain subsided, and passion took its place instead. Our bodies flowed like they were made for one another. The more our bodies flowed together, the more my body felt recharged.

I cried out, while he continued to deliver delicious strokes to my center as I came over and over again. Soon, the sheets’ smooth feel was no more, and I felt as if I were floating against a cloud. Opening my eyes, I realized that we were no longer flush against the mattress but floating above it as our bodies glowed in a golden color. The more he stroked my body, the more intense it became, and I felt our souls being stitched together, making us no longer two people but one. I called out his name over and over as he nipped the corner of my ear.

“Are you ready, baby?” he asked.

I knew exactly what he was referring to as I nodded my head, giving him the okay to take us over the edge. Before long, I experienced one of the best orgasms I’d ever had as exhaustion fell over us. I couldn’t come up with words to describe how I felt, but I knew without a doubt that what I had been feeling for him since the moment I met him all made sense now. If we didn’t make it back here tomorrow, I had the chance to experience this moment with him.

  Next Morning…

Peeling my eyes open, a delicious ache settled between my thighs as the events of last night came to my mind. Glancing down, his thick hands were locked tightly around my waist. I ran my fingers down his arm, and he placed his head into the groove of my shoulder. He was placing sweet kisses against my neck. I never knew the real feeling of cuddling or waking up next to a man who I hadn’t known long, but knew without a doubt that this is where I was supposed to be.

“Are you nervous about today?” I asked.

“Nah. This is what I have been preparing for my whole life unknowingly. This will all work out the way it’s supposed to as long as everyone sticks to the plan.”

Turning around to face him, I waited for a moment before I responded.

“I’ll take your word for it,” I whispered against his lips before he took me into a lust-induced kiss, slipping his hand between my thighs. Although I was still sore from the night before, I couldn’t get enough of him after he made love to my body a few more times. Silently, we walked around the room, getting ready for the day ahead of us. Today would be the day I got my mother back home. Making our way downstairs, Raz and Loren looked over at us with smirks before turning to look at the food they were eating.

“I’m sure y’all slept well,” Raz called out.

My cheeks immediately began to heat up as I made my way further into the kitchen to grab an apple.

“Maybe.” I laughed, bringing the apple up to my lips.

Coming behind me, Topez wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me back against his hard length and taking a small bite at my ear.

“Maybe? Yeah, alright.” He laughed, placing a kiss against my ne
ck.

“Well, I guess it wasn’t that great,” Raz responded, causing Topez to chase him around the island. I had never had siblings, so to see them act this way only made me happy to find them. They were acting as if we all weren’t getting ready to lay our lives on the line soon.

“Would y’all stop beating your chest? We have to go. I’m ready to get my mother home, and who knows what they’re doing to my mother,” I called out.

The laughter in the room died. I didn’t mean to kill the moment, but I just needed to make sure my mother was safe. I couldn’t fathom the thought of living without her. Topez walked around the island to wrap me within his arms as he called out the many things we would need to head out. The next twenty minutes consisted of us just making sure everyone knew their roles. Standing outside on the front lawn, we all held one another’s hands, closing our eyes tightly as a turbulent portal opened right in front of us. Before walking through the portal, I felt a tickle against my ankle. Glancing down, both of my cats were alongside us, ready to go through the portal as well. Running, we all jumped through into what appeared to be a storage room filled with armor.

Topez turned to his brothers, immediately shooting out orders, before looking down at me, placing a sweet kiss on my forehead.

“Stick to the script, Noe. Don’t get out here trying to be captain Save a Hoe! Your only job is to locate your father and get him to tell you where they’re holding your mother. Raz will be with you, and Loren, you’re going with me. Grab some of this armor and blend in as much as possible. They will be expecting us to show up here.” Topez gave orders like the born leader he is.
