  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ami was born in Santa Maria, California. The town was small, dusty, and her parents did not have a lot of money. She spent her adolescence reading and furthering her education in any way she could. She often spent vacations buried in books or doing writing of her own. Ultimately, it was her father who got her excited about the power of writing.

When Ami was eighteen, she moved out of her parents’ house and took creative writing and literature classes. A Cure for the Condition was her first professional success. From there, she was able to spend more time learning the ins and outs of writing.

The Death of Me is book one in The Death series.
