My vision cloudy, I slid my cockhead up to her dark hole, easing my hand around my shaft as I pushed the tip inside.
“Oh, God!” Jerking up, she shook her head before dropping it, relinquishing all control.
Inch after inch I pushed inside, moving past the tight ring of muscle then throwing my head back and roaring, “Yes!”
She struggled to meet every hard thrust with one of her own, panting and wiggling as she was fucked from behind.
I knew I couldn’t hold back long. Every muscle straining, I took several gulping breaths before releasing my load, filling her asshole with hot cum.
“Oh!”
When my balls were empty, I rubbed my fingers down her spine, trying to gather my wits.
I’d just fucked the most beautiful girl in the world. Shame it was never going to happen again.
Chapter Five
Crystal
“God damn it!” I tried to keep my voice down, refusing to allow my employees to know just how pissed I was. My assistant manager, a guy who’d come highly recommended from another much more profitable bar, had left his shift the night before knowing the register was short.
And not a lousy few bucks either.
I slapped my hand on the desk, furious that I’d let my guard down. It was my responsibility to ensure that everything was in order. Carl wasn’t a stupid guy. Arrogant, yes. A pain in the ass at times, you bet. But stupid? I groaned again, wiping sweat from around my temple. At least I had a bartender tonight, which would allow me time to find the mistake. I dropped my head into my hands, trying to calm my breathing, attempting to stop seeing spots of rage in front of my eyes.
Maybe I needed another spanking.
Shame rushed through me like a roaring fire, pressing along my jawline. I wasn’t certain I could forgive myself for such impetuous behavior.
But the entire experience had been damn good.
I half chuckled and wiggled in the chair, still shocked I’d fucked some mysterious and very dangerous stranger, after not one but two hard spankings. I was crazy. That had to be it. I’d left no more than ten minutes after he’d come inside me. There’s been no promise of anything else, but I’d never been so satisfied in my life.
Damn it if I didn’t want more.
I struggled to concentrate on the screen. Quickbooks wasn’t that complicated. All Carl had to do was count the cash, make certain all the credit card receipts were accounted for and everything should balance. Easy-peasy. No, now I had to deal with this shit.
I shifted my weight again, biting my lower lip to keep from moaning. The bad girl side of me screamed that the round of discipline had been exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, what I’d realized during my second cup of coffee and long before seeing the blond hunk is that I wasn’t attracted to Carter, not in the girlfriend kind of way. There was no particular reason, simply that the evening had been pleasant, but there’d been no sparks.
I had no idea what I’d say to him if he actually had the courage to call me.
Then there was the roughhewn and very mysterious biker, all six foot something of him. I hadn’t been able to get him off my mind for the majority of the afternoon.
Sexy.
Dangerous.
Off limits.
There could never be another wicked tryst. Nope. I wasn’t that kind of girl.
“Ugh!” Why couldn’t I find the right combination in a man? Maybe karma was telling me I should be alone. Very. Alone.
“Crystal, um, we need you out here.”
I heard Daphne’s voice, the tone that let me know in no uncertain terms there was another issue in the bar. “What?”
“Brad isn’t showing up tonight.” Smacking her gum, she folded her arms as her eyes darted back and forth.
I heard the growl slipping past my lips. “Damn it!”
She threw up her arms. “Don’t shoot the messenger. Said he has the stomach flu.”
Brad was the only other employee who knew how to actually tend bar instead of simply slinging beers, which left me in yet another lurch. Perfect fucking timing. I counted to five before even considering answering. “That’s fine. I’ll be there in five minutes.”
“We already have customers,” she said in a singsong-y voice as she walked out the door.
Exasperation I was used to. Right now, I was firmly convinced karma had it out for me. After locking everything up, I headed toward the main room, almost shocked to see the number of people and it was only a little after five in the afternoon. Taking a deep breath, I plastered on my usual fake smile before jumping back behind the bar.
“The bar. Is. Open.” At least the crowd seemed lively for a Sunday night. “What will you have?”
By the time I even glanced at the clock, it was after seven-thirty. Every television in the place was on, the volumes at full blast. I could barely hear the customers or my wait staff shouting out orders, but at least the Sandpiper was filled. I glanced at the bank of windows overlooking the parking lot, marveling at the number of cars. I also noticed the darkened sky, clouds swirling in ominous formations. A nasty storm was brewing.
There was no way to hear the rumble of thunder, but strikes of lightning crisscrossed the horizon, giving me an uneasy feeling. Every human, every creature, and every event gathered an eerie vibe during a thunderstorm. I had enough difficulty with darkness. Add in a raging weather pattern and I was shoved onto the edge. Forcing myself to look away, I refused to think about the past.
Or about that night.
Even one of the track lights positioned just over the entrance door was out, adding to the sinister atmosphere. I chuckled at the thought. I hadn’t even been watching any horror movies as of late.
Work was the great equalizer, Zorro a close second. And tonight, I had all the work I could handle.
“Another two Budweisers, Crystal,” Daphne called over her shoulder.
“You know how the order system works,” I snarked then grinned at her as I slid open the cooler. We’d already gone through six cases of cold beer. I’d have to restock soon, and that never happened. Even the food was flying out of the kitchen. There had to be an event in town that I didn’t know about. Tonight was all about taking advantage of things.
My, wasn’t that a sassy thought?
After placing her beers on the bar, I tapped the top. “Keep a watch for me, Daphne. Grabbing a few cases of beer.”
“Sure thing, boss woman. You need to get a bar-back if we continue having business like this,” Daphne cooed.
“If we keep having business like this, I’ll hire one.” Laughing, I yanked a towel from behind the bar, wiping the perspiration beading along my hairline. The gesture made me think of the biker, the way his chest and arms were glistening from the sweat covering every inch of his naked skin. Mmm...
I stood in the walk-in cooler for a full two minutes before reaching for the cases, smiling the entire time. Cooling off had almost nothing to do with humping behind the bar. I kept the almost lurid smile as I headed back, eyeing the rain pelting against the glass. The way the drops pounded against the window was mesmerizing, continuing to draw my attention even as orders came in, several customers sitting directly at the bar lifting their empty drinks.
Everyone wanted something from me.
Including the demon that continued to haunt me, a reminder of everything I’d run away from. I took several deep breaths, shoving the beer into the front cooler, one after the other, the glass clanging against the steel sides from my forceful effort. Anxiety wrapped sinewy fingers around my throat, squeezing like a tight vise. I tried to take several deep breaths, but the raspy sound of my gasping was caught by at least two of the customers.
“You okay, Crystal?”
“Do you need some help, darlin’?”
Thank God, they were regulars. Count to ten. Do it. One. Two. Three. Four... Five... The strangulation continued, shoving adrenaline into my system.
“Crystal?”
I threw out my hand, trying t
o smile and finishing the count. The single exercise had always worked, alleviating the fear and giving me back the ability to breathe. Hearing the thumping of my heart, I gripped the edge of the bar, digging my nails into the chipped wood. I refused to allow the darkness, the ridiculous unsettled feeling to conquer everything I’d accomplished.
Fuck the world.
“I’m fine. Storms just bother me.” I could tell by the look on the guy’s face he didn’t believe a word I was saying, but I was stronger. Anger now replaced the severe unease, allowing me to catch my breath. I hadn’t had this kind of attack since the third week I’d moved here. Why now? There was no reason, no threats of any kind. In fact, I would consider the last few weeks some of the best I’d had in several years.
Perhaps my senses were heightened, the storm derailing my thin line of sanity, but I could hear the creaking of the hinges as the entrance door was opened. I was able to detect the splashing of rain hitting the sidewalk from the overflowing gutters. Tipping my head, the figure standing in the doorway was merely a dark silhouette, a hulking mass taking up space. I wouldn’t have ordinarily given the person entering a second look, except for the fact electricity skimmed along the back of my legs, crawling upward. Even my heart was racing more than a few seconds before, a line of perspiration now covering the top of my lip. Was it the mystery man? Stop. I had to stop acting like a wild child.
I was simply overheated, various synapses short-circuiting. Nothing more.
Without thinking, I grabbed a couple of ice cubes, sliding them down the side of my neck, while keeping my eyes pinned on the door.
The man ignored the beads of rain no doubt covering every inch of his body and stepped into the light.
A quiet settled around me, a slender hold of peace enveloping my entire system. There was no ringing in my ears, no calls for drinks or other service. There was only the man standing in the slender shadow of illumination.
The mysterious biker.
The man who’d spanked me.
The gorgeous man I’d fucked.
And I knew for some uncanny reason that he was supposed to be here, in this space.
Blinking, I took several steps closer and this time sparks ignited the embers that had been left dead and cold somewhere in the darkness of my system. They were alive with need, the crackling sensations driving into the very core of my being. No man had every brought me to this level.
“Who. Is. That?” Daphne asked from behind me, her voice dipping to a sensual tone.
“I don’t know.” Other than carnally.
He was wearing a tight black tee shirt and even tighter midnight jeans, the dense material folding around every centimeter of his muscular thighs. The shirt clung to him, wet from the rain and sculpted across the dense carvings of his body. Even in the dimness, I could see the horrific scar cutting into his gorgeous face, the jagged edge slicing down from just under his eye to his angular chin. For some women, the cut would be a repellent, as if his magnificent beauty could no longer matter.
For this woman, the slight imperfection was electrifying, drawing me even further into a strangled web of desire. I longed to kiss and lick down every inch. Blinking, I took a deep breath, forcing myself to look away.
“He seems to know you,” she whispered.
There wasn’t a person in close proximity who didn’t notice the stranger standing in my bar. I could feel such a sense of power, his quiet methods completely dominating the entire place. His eyes were piercing and while from this distance I was unable to tell their color, I was able to gather a glimpse into the man’s soul.
What I witnessed should be terrifying, but not for me. He obviously wanted to see me again.
He gave me a nod of respect, his eyes falling to my chest, a slight smile curling on his lip.
Swallowing, I realized my fingers were numb from the ice, and the fact I’d allowed the cubes to fall into my shirt.
His eyes twinkling, he darted a quick glance to my well-spanked ass then slowly turned his head, scanning the entire room before walking into the crowd. There were no open seats at the bar and in truth, I doubted he would find an empty table.
Daphne gripped my arm, the hold tight. “I’ve never seen him before. Wow. Why don’t I find out where he went, just in case he’s in my section?”
“That was... Interesting.” Pappy gulped his beer then took a look over his shoulder. “He’s not from around here.”
“How can you tell?”
“You can always tell, sunshine. His swagger. The way he looked at you.” Winking, Pappy lifted his beer. “Could be interesting. Could also mean trouble.”
“Funny, Pappy. I’m not looking for a man and any more trouble I definitely don’t need in my life.” Both proclamations might be the truth, but I still peered through the crowd, trying to locate where he’d gone. Electricity continued to course through every muscle and my nipples were scraping against the thin lace of my bra.
I refilled orders until Daphne returned, a wicked grin on her face. “Let me guess,” I muttered.
“He’ll have a whiskey, neat.” Daphne leaned over the bar, swirling a finger in her long hair. “He’s one hot man. Doesn’t say much. Half grunted his order. I bet he’s one dangerous asshole though. Did you see that scar on his face? Jesus H. Christ.”
I resisted even acknowledging her statement, although I was more interested than ever. “As long as he pays his bill and doesn’t make any trouble, I don’t care.” I wanted to yell at her for admonishing his mark of... I wasn’t even certain what word would suit what I was thinking.
“Maybe he’s a criminal, an escapee,” Tina said, flanking Daphne’s side. “He’s huge and you should see his eyes. Penetrating. Then that damn scar. Could have been a model without that.”
I envisioned him naked, his thick cock throbbing as he beckoned me to suck him. Stop before you make a fool out of yourself. Yeah, yeah. I hated the inner voice who was always right. After sliding the drink across the bar, I gave Daphne a certain look. “If he wants to run a tab, make certain you get a credit card.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
I followed her with my eyes until she disappeared into the crowd. What was the man’s story? My curiosity getting the better of me, I walked toward the front door, peering out the window and searching for any sign of his motorcycle. There wasn’t a single motorcycle in sight. The motel was a solid two miles from here, if not further. Sure, anyone could walk it, but why? For this place? A single creepy crawlie skittered along the back of my neck. Could he have been sent here to find me?
Get a grip, Crystal.
I rolled my eyes and went back to work, although my mind wasn’t far away from the mysterious hunk. I’d been completely reckless with my actions.
“He gave me a hundred-dollar bill. Told me to keep the change,” Daphne squealed then slapped her hand across her mouth.
“Big spender,” one of the men at the bar huffed.
“He wants something,” Pappy mumbled.
“To impress. No doubt.” I was going to be more than curious to see what he did on round two.
I found myself finding reasons to walk into the main portion of the lounge, getting closer to where he sat. If he was watching television, there was no way of knowing, but every time I moved past, his gaze was locked on following me. And every time I walked within a few feet, goosebumps popped along every inch of naked skin. The man was a magnet, drawing me closer until I almost broke out of my comfort zone, asking pointed questions.
Almost.
Rounds two and three were met with the same gesture, making Daphne giddier than I’d ever seen her. The man had money, yet he was staying in a shit motel.
“Hey, Pappy. Is there an event going on here in town?”
“There’s a big yachting event going on at the marina. Lots of the big names are in town. Why?” Pappy answered and damn if he didn’t have a sly look on his face, especially given his Johnny on the spot answer.
“Just checking. Different crow
d tonight. Bigger.” I shrugged it off as if I didn’t really care but my red flags were raised more than normal. I was a keen observer of behavior and this guy broke every mold.
“Uh-huh. Why do I have a feeling there’s another reason you’re asking?” Pappy laughed and pulled out his wallet, tossing three hundred-dollar bills on top of the bar.
“What’s that for? Your tab is only twenty-four fifty.”
He got to his feet before answering. “Doesn’t seem right the sexy bartender doesn’t get a huge tip now and again.” Winking, he slid the money toward me. “Remember, Crystal. Looks can be deceiving.”
I opened my mouth to retort but he was already whistling and walking toward the exit. I grabbed the bills, pocketing the difference, more than grateful for the boost in income. I hadn’t realized how late it had gotten and when the crowd started thinning out, I finally took a break and headed for the back door. The same stench remained from the night before but for some reason, it was easier to stomach and within seconds, I realized mystery biker had indeed walked. There were two bars prior to getting here, although one was a true hole in the wall. He came all the way here just to see me.
Another moment of shame as well as desire bolted into my system. I had it bad for this man.
The rain was down to a drizzle, but a light fog had rolled in, masking the dank and dilapidated area. The intense humidity left a slick and damp feeling, the scent of beer and liquor staining my skin. I exhaled, grumbling under my breath before walking back inside. Tina stood near the walk-in, a befuddled look on her face. “What’s wrong?”
“They’re here again and with two other buddies.” She kept her answer whispered, as if the assholes could hear her.
“Fantastic.” They’d returned for their moment of revenge and I hadn’t asked the owner about purchasing a gun. Checking to make certain my cell phone was charged and in my pocket, I tried to act nonchalant. “Do you have any tables left?” The bastards had even waited until the cooking staff had left, leaving three women against five thugs. This night couldn’t get any better. However, I would call the police this go-around.
