For the next couple of hours they ate and talked about the scandal, the weather, and a host of other things. By the time they were ready to leave, Lena could see the fatigue on Mary’s face.
“Do you wanted to lie down?” she asked.
“I do feel tired. Maybe just a little nap. Myra can help me.”
Myra came into the room, after saying their goodbyes to Mary, and she helped her into the bedroom.
Tank grabbed Lena’s hand as they walked down the sidewalk and headed to her SUV. He’d wanted to take the Harley, but Lena was scared the cake and cookies would be reduced to crumbs in the saddle bags, so she’d insisted they drive.
“Why didn’t you tell your mom we’re living together?” she asked, sliding into the passenger seat.
Tank placed his hand behind her neck and kissed her hard, then he shut the door and walked around to the driver’s side.
“Is it supposed to be a secret?”
“No. I’ll tell her. I just want to enjoy some time together without her asking me every second why we’re living together instead of being hitched.”
“And what’re you going to say when she asks you that?”
“That you don’t want to.”
She lightly punched his arm. “The tough biker’s going to blame it on me?”
Tank glanced sideways at her. “Yeah. You’re the one that has all these fuckin’ levels we need to go through. Now we’re at the” —he turned to her— “what the hell did you call it?”
“I don’t have any names. I swear you invent this shit.”
Tank laughed. “You’re telling me you haven’t been orchestrating all this since we left the safe haven months ago?”
“I just said we should go slow, and we are.” A small frown creased her forehead. “Don’t you like how it’s going between us?”
Tank pulled over to the curb and pivoted in his seat. He reached over and tugged her closer to him. “I love being with you. If it were up to me, we’d have been living together months ago. I mean we practically were. I was at your place more than my own.”
“Okay, then what’s the problem?”
He cupped her face with his hands, lifting her chin to meet his eyes, and smiled at her. “We don’t have a problem, darlin’.”
“Then why—”
Pressing his mouth against hers, he smothered her words with a kiss. He held her close, rubbing his hands up and down her back. When he let go, minutes later, he looked into her eyes.
“I love you, baby, and I’m good with whatever level you put us on next.”
“You make me sound so cold and calculating.”
“There’s no fuckin’ way you’re cold, baby.” He ran his hands over her breasts, squeezing them before pinching her nipples through the soft fabric of her top.
She sucked in a breath.
Tank lowered his head and captured her mouth again, this time plunging inside it. She unbuckled her seatbelt and hooked her arms around his neck, as their kiss deepened. One of his hands kept fondling her breast while the other slid down her body until it landed between her legs, pushing against her. Shooting sparks of desire licked through her. Groaning low, she slipped her hands under his shirt and glided her fingers over his hard, firm chest before trailing them down lower to his stomach, lightly brushing back and forth.
Tank hissed when she put her hand on his dick and rubbed him through his jeans, loving how hard he was. He placed his hand over hers and pressed down while he moved his hips toward her.
“Fuck, baby,” he whispered against her lips. “I want to spread your legs apart and lick your sweetness.”
“And then?”
“Prop your legs on my shoulders and fuck you good and hard.”
“Too bad we’ll have to wait.” She pulled away and smiled.
Confusion spread over his features. “Why?”
“We’re going over to Raptor’s for his daughter’s graduation, remember?” Lena pulled down the visor and reapplied her gloss then finger-combed her hair.
Tank shook his head. “Fuck, I forgot. You make me all kinds of mixed up, woman.”
She laughed. “Did you remember to bring the card?”
“Yeah,” he said, settling back in the seat. “I just forgot about it while we were fooling around.”
“I love fooling around with you.” She ran her nails down his arm.
He winked. “Good to know.”
“How’s Nick doing?” She put on her sunglasses and pushed the visor up.
“Coming along. Raptor said it can take months or even years before his immune system fully recovers. Nick’s supposed to come back home next month.”
“I’m so happy Cassie was a match for her brother. What a wonderful gift to give him.”
“Yeah, she’s a special kid—always has been. She wants to be a doctor. Can you imagine that? Raptor’s beside himself.”
“I’m happy for them.” Lena looked at Tank as he drove, his biceps bulged each time he took a turn.
He glanced over at her then back at the road. “What’re you looking at?”
“You. You’re a very sexy man.”
Tank chuckled. “And you’re just noticing this now?”
“Hell no. I noticed it the first time I saw you.”
“You gave me a hard time.”
She stretched out her legs. “You deserved it.”
His soft laughter stroked over her like velvet heat. “I probably did.”
“Would you like to have kids?”
Tank slammed on the brakes, pitching her forward then back.
“Shit, Tank. Take it easy.”
“Are you pregnant?”
Shaking her head, she said, “No.”
“Then why are you asking me that when I’m driving? I almost ran a red light.”
“I was just wondering,” she said, shrugging. “But from your reaction, you’re obviously not into it.”
“No. I am. You just took me by surprise.”
“I don’t know … we’ve never talked about it, and I was curious.”
He looked over. “Do you want kids?”
“Yeah. I’d like to have a family someday.”
“And we will.” He turned the corner onto Raptor’s street. “So … since we’re talking about kids and shit, we need to get hitched. Whaddaya say?”
Taken by surprise, she said, “What? You’re proposing to me while driving?”
“Is it too romantic for you?” He deadpanned.
“You’re joking around, right?”
Scanning his face, the serious look on it told her he wasn’t. This is real. The man she loved had just asked her to marry him.
“Wow … I didn’t expect this.”
Tank parked in front of Raptor’s house, switched off the engine, and turned to her. “We love each other and enjoy being together, so why not get hitched.”
A nervous laugh slipped from her lips. “It would be more romantic if you say married.” She swatted his leg lightly.
Tank looked deeply into her eyes and took her hands in his. “I love you, Lena. You’re a part of me, and I want you to be in my life always. Will you marry me?”
Lena blinked rapidly, her heart beating a mile a minute. “Yes.” She swallowed past the lump in her throat. “I’ll marry you. I love you with all my heart and soul, sweetie.” Twining her arms around his neck, she peppered kisses over his face. “You are my today and my tomorrow, and I can’t imagine my life without you.”
The smile tugging the corners of his mouth broke out into a grin. “Fuck, darlin’, this kicks ass.”
Laughing, she met his lips and kissed him fervently, and he held her close.
“I’m so happy,” she murmured.
“Me too. But the one who’s gonna be fuckin’ over the moon is my mom. Tomorrow, I gotta get you a ring.”
“It’s usually done the other way around.” She laughed. “But then you’re not a conventional guy, and that’s one of many things I love about you.”
Tan
k kissed her gently. “We’re gonna have a great life. Let’s cut out early tonight and go for a long ride.”
“And make love under the stars?”
“You got it, darlin’. I have a blanket in the saddle bag so you won’t have any gum or sand mishaps.”
He held her tight and warmth spread through her. This is where I belong.
And for the first time since losing her parents, she’d found her home and it was safely in his arms.

Allegiance: Nomad Biker Romance Series (Book 3)
Dear Readers,
Thank you for reading my book. This book is the third one in my new standalone series—Nomad Biker Romance. The book and series deal with those bikers who live a solitary life on the road, feeling the freedom of no boundaries. Each of the bikers in the series are loosely attached to MCs, but for various reasons, they’ve chosen to break away from the daily MC life and trade it in for a solo life on the road.
In the third book of the series, Tank is a member of the Jagged Outlaws MC but decided to trade in his full-time patch for a Nomad one. He needs to care for his ailing mother, and he is dissatisfied with the way the club is going under a corrupt Vice President. A Nomad patch was on his back and he hit the open road on his Harley-Davidson. I hope you enjoyed the third book in my new series as much as I enjoyed writing Tank and Lena’s story. This gritty and rough way of life is never easy, but being on the open road has its own kind of rewards. I hope you will look for the upcoming books in the series. Romance makes life so much more colorful, and a rough, sexy bad boy makes life a whole lot more interesting.
If you enjoyed the book, please consider leaving a review on Amazon. I read all of them and appreciate the time taken out of busy schedules to do that.
I love hearing from my fans, so if you have any comments or questions, please email me at [email protected] or visit my facebook page.

CROW: Night Rebels MC
Coming April 2021
He didn’t know he needed her until she came into his life.
Crow is a Night Rebel, one of the largest MCs in Southern Colorado. A whiskey neat. A rumble of a Harley underneath him. A woman wet and ready for him. Those are his ideas of the good life.
He and relationships don’t mix, especially since the woman of his dreams rode off into the sunset with a rival MC member on his bike. The betrayal and hurt built a wall around his heart that he has no intention of breaking down.
The only women he wants in his life are the ones who know the score: fun without commitment. He likes the variety without the heartache.
Then he sees her and everything changes. Curves that won’t quit, long legs, and a defiant look in her big brown eyes. She’s pure temptation
Angie Morelli is stressed, overworked, and sick of everything, especially men. The man who professed undying love to her was caught with his pants down—literally—with one of her bridesmaids the morning of their wedding. Still reeling from the humiliation, she takes a job with the Housing Department in Alina, Colorado, a town far away from her past life.
When the rugged biker gets in her face when she’s just trying to do her job, she sees red. It’s too bad he’s handsome, rugged, and sexier than any man has the right to be.
Even though neither of them wants to admit it, an undeniable attraction sizzles between them. But she isn’t interested in getting her heart ripped to shreds, especially since she’s just now starting to heal from her pre-wedding disaster.
In addition to the arrogant, sexy biker turning her world upside down, there is a madman stalking and killing the residents of a housing project. The people call him Shadow Man, and they fear his powers, his strength, and his evil.
All of a sudden, Angie is in the midst of a terrifying nightmare, and no one can help her except the sexy biker with a colossal chip on his shoulder. Will Crow be able to gain her trust and put aside his bitterness to save her?
The Night Rebels MC series are standalone romance novels. This book describes the life and actions of a gritty outlaw motorcycle club. HEA. No cliffhangers. 18+
