I clutched my robe, still coming down from a climax I wouldn’t reach, while Calish abandoned the role of lover to be a father. The quick change worried me. I lowered myself to the edge of the bed and watched the two of them, barely able to hear my own thoughts over the unexplainable noise coming out of the tiniest human I’d ever seen.
I wondered, when would we have an intimate moment again?
