That would give them an hour to screw, she knew. She nodded ever so slowly. The phone rang and she answered it as Hawk walked over to the retirees’ table. Bond walked in as Jessica started to take an order from the person who had called. They all laughed and Hawk went to the door she nodded to him as he exited. He winked at her, and her body caught fire.
Six o’clock couldn’t come soon enough.
Chapter 2
Hawk walked into his brother’s office, happy to see Holt sitting behind his desk, poking at the keyboard and growling.
“Problem?” Hawk asked as he plopped down in his usual chair. He stretched out his legs and put them on the desk, crossing his boots at the ankle. He took off his hat and placed it, crown side up, on the spare chair next to him.
“How many times have I asked you not to do that?” Holt asked. “My desk is not your personal footrest.”
“Up yours.” He looked around. “We need to get a bell so we can summon Austin to bring us some tea. I’m thirsty.”
“Austin is not our servant, he’s our brother,” Holt said.
“I don’t understand why he can’t be both.” Hawk laughed as he stood. “Be right back.”
He went to the kitchen where he fixed two glasses of sweet tea. After that he located a pitcher and filled it. He was very thirsty. He put it on a tray, then added bags of potato chips. He stared at it, then looked at the clock. It was almost noon, and despite the fact he’d just eaten banana bread he made a bunch of ham and cheese sandwiches and added them to the haul.
Once he was in Holt’s office he set it on the table near the sofa and sat down.
“Took you long enough,” Holt said.
“I brought lunch,” Hawk said. “Where’s Aurora?”
“Down at the cabins helping Becky with the transition.” Holt came and sat down next to his brother. They started to eat, wolfing down sandwiches and drinking copious amounts of tea. When the tray was almost empty, Holt asked, “What’s on your mind?”
“I’m thinking of asking Jessica to move in with me.”
Holt coughed, and Hawk laughed. “Shocked you, did I?”
“Somewhat, yes,” Holt said. “Is your room big enough for the two of you?”
Hawk considered his words. The six brothers, Holt, Hawk, Reed, Kyle, Wyatt, and Austin, all lived in the huge house their parents had built. Now that the elder Colemans were traveling the country, they had offered Holt, and his future wife, Aurora, their set of rooms, a bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom, on one end of the house. The brothers all had bedrooms upstairs.
“I’m not thinking about living here,” Hawk said. “The Spellman farmhouse outside town is empty, and from the gossip I’ve heard, they want to sell it. They’re already living in Amarillo.”
“It’s a nice ranch house,” Holt said. He took a drink from his tea and after he’d swallowed he said, “Enough room for kids.”
“Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.” Hawk snatched the last sandwich. “I haven’t asked her yet.”
“Do you love her?” Holt asked.
“I do,” Hawk said. “I have to admit there is a part of me that worries it’s just about the great sex.”
“If it is, moving in together is not the way to find out,” Holt said. “You need to figure it out first.”
“Thanks, Dad.” Hawk surveyed the tray. Why hadn’t he brought something sweet? Because you just had something sweet, he said to himself. “You hardly know Aurora, yet you’re marrying her.”
“I love her, and she loves me,” Holt said. “If you can’t say you love Jessica for more than the sex, you need to wait and discover the truth.”
Hawk knew he was right, but he didn’t want to hear it. He hated spending time with Jessica, then having to get up and come home. He wanted to spend all his free time with her. He wanted to fall asleep next to her all the time and wake up with her spooned up to him.
He loved the way she looked. He loved the way she smelled. He loved the way she laughed. He loved the way she thought. He loved everything about her. But did she feel the same way about him? They’d never professed their love, even though they’d been together for almost a year. He’d been attracted to her when she’d first moved to Bookman Springs. It hadn’t been too long after he’d met her that he’d claimed her, first as a Dom, then as her Daddy. Now he was both.
“I want to be with her forever,” Hawk said.
“Figure out if she wants the same,” Holt said. “It takes two to Tango, as they say.”
“Screw you,” Hawk said, and they both laughed. Holt wasn’t only his big brother, he was his best friend. They talked about everything, and in this case Hawk knew Holt was right. But he wasn’t sure how he was supposed to bring the subject up with Jessica and not scare her away. Sometimes she seemed skittish; sometimes she acted as if she wanted to be alone instead of with him.
At first he thought it was just part of her personality, but what if she didn’t want to be with him forever? He wasn’t sure how he would take that. But if she turned him down when it came to living together, he would find out.
“Is she coming to dinner?”
“She is,” Hawk said. “I’m going to go pick her up later.”
Holt snickered. “In other words you’re going to go nail her as a pre-dinner treat.”
“Call it what you want,” Hawk said. “I’m going to get laid, and then eat.”
He stood and went to the desk. He picked up his hat from the chair and put it on.
“I gotta go back to work,” he said.
“Have fun writing speeding tickets,” Holt said. “Take the trash to the kitchen, will you? I have paperwork to catch up on.”
Hawk picked up the tray and carried it out, calling out, “See ya,” to his brother, who replied in kind.
After he’d placed the dishes in the dishwasher he fixed himself a to-go cup of tea, then went to his truck. He hated writing speeding tickets, and the citizens of Bookman Springs knew it. Most of them obeyed the laws, but there were a few he had to stop, repeatedly. He gave out as many warnings as he could, but when those people didn’t get the hint, he had to start writing actual tickets, which would put points on their licenses and jack up their insurance costs. Many times his days consisted of helping the older people in town with errands, delivering legal papers, or just meeting with people to make sure they knew he was there to help if they needed them.
He pulled out onto the road and drove down Main. Jessica’s bakery was just to the left, and as he drove by he saw she had quite a crowd, more than she usually had on a Monday. He recognized some of the cars as belonging to high school kids, and he glanced at the clock on his dash. It was just after twelve, which meant a lot of them were there getting goodies. Jessica didn’t sell sandwiches, although she’d thought about changing that. If she did, though, he knew she’d receive blowback from the café. Or maybe it would be a good thing, since the café was always so busy at lunch it was hard for some of the kids to get their meal and make it back to school before the bell rang.
If he talked to Tanker, the owner of the café, about it would it upset Jessica? Or would she be happy he was putting out feelers? He pushed the idea aside. Before he did anything like that he would talk to her first; he would not go behind her back. He started making mental notes about the good things that would come from the change when a car zoomed by him.
One check of the built-in radar on his dash showed the vehicle going 49 in a 30, and it was headed toward the school zone. Hawk threw the switch to turn on his light bar and took off in pursuit. Maybe his afternoon wouldn’t be boring after all.
Jessica whipped the spatula around the top of the cake, made sure the swirl was perfect, then stood back. “Voila!” she said. It looked incredible. A red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Simple, but it was one of Holt’s favorites. She knew that because Hawk had told her. The other two cakes she’d made for the tasting were Italian Wedding Cake, and just a plain chocolate cake with chocolate icing. That
one, she thought, might be good for the groom’s cake. Or he might want the chocolate and the red velvet cake.
It was not an easy decision, and Jessica wondered if nine cakes would be enough for the tasting.
“Smells delicious in here.”
She turned to see Hawk standing in the doorway. He still wore his uniform, and, as always, it made her mouth water. He moved into the room, took off his hat and put it on the table. At that point she saw he had a paper sack in his hand.
“Bare your ass and bend over the table.”
Jessica checked to make sure the oven was off, then hurried to follow his orders. She’d hoped for sex before dinner, but she’d expected a little foreplay first. Her jeans and panties were down to her ankles, because she hoped he would fuck her. It would not be the first time he’d taken her on this table.
“I did a lousy job last night,” he said. “There’s hardly any welts on your ass.”
“It felt wonderful, Sir.”
“Well, after we’re back here I’m going to have to break out the crop again. Your thighs are bare. I want to see welts on them.”
Warmth spread through her. If there was one thing she loved, it was feeling Hawk mark her ass with his riding crop. She turned to look at him over her shoulder and he slapped her ass.
“Eyes front.”
“Yes, Sir,” she said. She focused on the wall, the space she always looked at when he had her in this position, which was not as often as she’d like. It seemed that usually they went to the bedroom. The crinkling of the paper bag made Jessica jerk her head in Hawk’s direction.
“What did I just say?”
“Sorry, Sir.” She turned her head back to the wall, fighting the urge to see what he was pulling from the sack.
“What’s my number one rule?” he asked, and Jessica felt her stomach drop.
“To remain quiet during a punishment.” She turned to watch him, as she was sure he knew she would. She wasn’t very good at obeying sometimes.
He held a butt plug in his hand, a larger one with four bulbs on it.
“Sir, please no.”
“But I want to go through dinner watching you squirm in your seat.” He held up a bottle of lube. He’d obviously already taken off the cap. She watched as he coated the plug. Then he walked to where she waited. Jessica turned her head back to the wall. The cold lube trickled between her cheeks and over her anus.
“Cold,” she whispered.
“Then let’s warm it up.” He pressed the tip of the plug against her anus, and waited.
Jessica knew what he expected, but there was a part of her that wondered if she didn’t follow the rules tonight if he might not make her wear it. So she waited, and didn’t say anything.
“Cat got your tongue?” he asked.
“No, Sir,” she said.
“Someone doesn’t want to play,” he said.
The disappointment in his voice was apparent, and it made her feel bad. But they’d promised at the first of their relationship to be honest with each other, and that was what she was doing. Although he was in charge, she’d hoped for something different tonight. But he was, as she’d thought earlier, in charge. He was the Master. She was the submissive.
“Forgive me, Sir,” she said. Jessica kept her gaze on the wall. She imagined him behind her, deciding what to do. He didn’t acknowledge her apology, and she gave it again.
“Position,” he said, and her heart dropped to her knees. Jessica scurried to the floor. She heard him undoing his belt. She got down on all fours, her head down on the hard tile.
“How many?” he asked.
“How ever many Sir desires,” she said. Out of the corner of her eye she saw him standing there, his doubled-over belt clutched in his hand.
“We’ll go until your ass is crimson.” Even though this was a punishment spanking he started slow, the first few strikes making more noise than pain as the leather struck her upturned ass. But then it increased, the strikes making her wince and want to roll away. Tears rolled from her eyes and she started to count. Ten, twenty, thirty. On the thirty-first one he struck her thighs, hitting them harder than he’d hit her ass. When he got to sixty she groaned, and he stopped. It was sort of an unwritten rule between them.
She saw him set the belt on the table. Her ass and thighs throbbed, and to her horror he picked up the plug. He coated it with lube before he came and knelt beside her.
“Spread.”
Jessica put her hands on her pounding bottom cheeks and pulled them apart. He put the plug on her anus and waited.
“Fill me, Sir,” she said. “Claim my ass with your toy.”
She grimaced as he pressed it into her, first one bulb then the next. Hawk stopped, and Jessica sobbed a little. She didn’t particularly care to be fucked up the ass, but Hawk loved it. One time he’d fucked her up the ass, then added a small vibrator to the mix, pushing it into her butt alongside his dick. She’d cried out in pain, until he’d turned it on, and she’d come so hard she thought she would die. He’d come at the same time, and although it had set her nerves on fire, she was thrilled he’d never done it again. Still, she knew what had to happen now.
“Fill me, Sir,” she whispered.
He pulled the plug out all the way, then pushed it back in, this time past the third bulb. How many had there been? He owned an extremely large plug that had six on it, and she hated that thing. He waited once more.
Damn him.
“Please, Sir, fill me.” She waited, and he didn’t move, embarrassment surged through her. She hated to beg. He loved to hear it.
“Sir, I am so, so, sorry for disobeying you. Please forgive me. Please, Sir, claim my butt, make it yours.” When he didn’t move she repeated the words, adding moans and soft cries. She hated to admit it but she was getting hot, her pussy throbbing.
When he started to move the plug in and out, she closed her eyes and accepted her fate. He fucked her with it until she wiggled her hips. He left it inside her, then slapped her ass with his hand.
“Corner.”
Jessica crawled to the corner. She put her face on the floor, then spread her cheeks to show him her filled butt.
“Now, tell me what’s wrong.”
“What?” Jessica kept her face pressed down. She didn’t want him to see her face.
“It’s not like you to resist.”
Was he sitting down? Standing behind her? She couldn’t see him now.
“I want you to tell me what’s wrong.” Now he crouched down beside her. “If I’ve done something to anger you please let me know.”
“You’ve done nothing,” she said. “It was just a busy day, and well, you know I don’t care for anal sex.”
“Well, I was just teasing you with it earlier but now you’re wearing it until after dinner.” He lightly tapped her ass before he stood. “Get up and turn to me.
When she’d done as he asked, he wrapped a small chain around her waist. A second one went between her legs, pressing into her wet folds. At his command she turned toward the wall. She heard a few clicks, and she wondered if the plug had some sort of holes in it that he attached to the chain to keep it in place.
“Wear jeans,” he said. “That will keep it nice and tight in your butt.”
“As you wish, Sir.”
He put his hands on her shoulders and turned her around. “You might say you don’t like taking it up the butt, but you’re soaked right now.”
“From the whipping,” she said.
“Yeah, tell yourself that.” He took her chin in his hand. “Tell me once more you’re not upset with me.”
“I swear it,” she said. She would not tell him about Mrs. Dobbs. She would not.
“Okay, then let’s go to dinner so I can watch you squirm against the plug up your ass. I’m going to love it.”
Something deep inside her told Jessica she was going to love it, too.
Chapter 3
Jessica gathered up the dirty dishes from the table and carried them th
rough to the kitchen.
“What did you do to that poor girl?” Holt asked. “She’s walking a little funny.”
“Nothing you’ve never done to the women in our life,” Hawk said. He stood and gathered up a few serving dishes. “She’s been working hard on the cakes for your tasting on Friday, I do know that.”
“If that makes her walk funny we need to look for a new baker,” Holt said. He hadn’t moved from his spot and Hawk jerked his head toward the table.
“Don’t just sit there. We have things to do. Grab a dish. Your engagement does not keep you from helping with the dishes.”
Holt got up, but the look he sent Hawk’s way made Hawk laugh.
“I moved furniture all day,” Holt said as he picked up a napkin.
“Wimp,” Hawk said with a laugh. He crossed into the kitchen where he found his other four brothers laughing and talking with Jessica and Aurora. It made him smile, especially when Jessica flashed him a flirty look. He still wondered why she’d put up a fuss today, and he hoped he could get the information out of her, but not before he fucked her until her eyes crossed.
Holt tapped him on the shoulder and jerked his head toward the living room. Hawk followed him there and almost laughed out loud when he glanced around to see if anyone was nearby.
“How’d the L-O-V-E talk go?” Holt asked.
“Some reason why you’re spelling out the word?” Hawk asked. “Are you afraid J-E-S-S-I-C-A will hear? I assure you, she knows how to spell.”
“Just trying to keep your secret,” Holt said. “So, have you?”
“No,” Hawk answered, thinking of how the evening had gone. He hadn’t expected her to not want to play tonight. It wasn’t like her, and he hoped they would have a conversation about it after they got back to her house. She’d been fine during dinner, laughing and joking. Every once in a while she would shift in her seat, and he knew it was because of the plug up her butt. Twice he noticed looks of absolute pleasure cross her face.
