“Here you go Captain John.” Rocket gave a smile.
“Now get out of here! They should be close and remember to shoot a cannon off when they get close.” John ordered.
“Captain! They are closing in!” One of the crew members yelled from the top of the stairs.

“Go Now!” John yelled.
“Goodbye. Captain Johnnie.” Theodore smiled.
“Aye. Goodbye.” “Goodbye” Rocket and Sea Short said.
“Ye were a pleasure to serve under sir!” Sea Short added.
“And you a pleasure to have known.” John responded. And at that the three went upstairs and boarded the rowboats. There were three of them and they easily fit the crew.Theodore took out a hand grenade from his vest and got ready to light it. The Redeemer was just about 2 minutes away from The Savior. The crew tried to row as fast as they could to get to a safe spot away from the explosion.
Chapter 15
John sat next to the fuses and gunpowder. He was relaxed and ready. Waiting for the sound of the grenade. He no longer felt any pain but was drifting further away from life. He held the torch in his right hand and lit it with the tinderbox. It took just one try to get the torch to light. He put the touch just above the first fuse and waited.
“They are just about there! Throw the grenade Theodore!” Sea Short ordered. Theodore lit the grenade and held on to it for a moment. He waited for the fuse to go down about half way and then threw it as hard as he could up in the air away from the

rowboats. It went off with a loud explosion.
John heard the explosion and lowered the touch to the first fuse. Then he moved to the second and third as quickly as he could. Just as the fuses were about to hit the gunpowder John smiled. He thought for a second and then said.
“This is the happiest moment of my life.” John laughed at
himself but it was muffled from the start of the explosion.
Chapter 16
“My brother is a coward! We must finish what we started! They will not survive!” Tod yelled. However, as he finished his sentence The Redeemer was passing by The Savior at just the perfect moment and an explosion erupted from The Savior. The rest of the crew escaped in such a perfect direction that Tod decided to sail right passed The Savior to catch up to the rowboats as fast as he could.
The Savior exploded from below and out. There was so much gunpowder that the explosion obliterated The Savior and carried on to hit The Redeemer. The Redeemer was hit right on its side and grew a gaping crevice. Shrapnel flew everywhere not only injuring but killing some of the crew members aboard The Redeemer. The ship quickly started to sink and the surviving men jumped overboard hoping they could swim to safety. Most of them

drowned from having too much equipment on. Captain Tod sat quietly in his Quarters knowing that his foolishness got the best of him. He accepted defeat but before he sunk into the dark depths of the never ending ocean he spoke his final words.
“I guess we're even now. John Looples.” And he, along with his ship and crew were swallowed by the deep blue.
Chapter 17
Back on the rowboats they were cheering and hollering back at The defeated Captain.
“Quiet!” Sea Short ordered. “Let's have a moment of silence for our fallen Captain. For he truly was our savior and his own redeemer.”
