Stone In Love (Jersey Series #1) Page 25

by Sienna Skye

I sunk into the warm water, my back against Morgan’s chest. I slid down so my head was resting on his shoulder and closed my eyes while he traced lazy patterns over my chest. We talked about everything. About nothing in particular. Talking. Laughing. Easy conversation reminding me of how it used to be. Hopefully, how it could still be.

Feeling the need to be even closer, I snuggled into him and turned my head to place a soft lingering kiss on his neck. I was rewarded with feeling his length hardening against my ass and back. I heard a soft growl. God, I loved when he growled, and then one of his hands started to play with my breast while the other slipped down to rub circles on my clit. He sucked my earlobe and then tugged on it gently before whispering in my ear.

“I need to taste you, Jules. I still remember what it was like. I want you to come all over my face.”

  Yes, please.

Before I could respond, he stood up and helped me out of the tub. He wrapped a big fluffy towel around me and then grabbed my comb from the sink. How it got there, I had no clue. Taking my hand, he led me out of the bathroom. “I told you I intend to spoil you and love you.”

He sat behind me on the bed, carefully pulling the comb through my hair. He had done that so many times before and it always made me feel cherished. In those years away, I often thought I might have missed that more than anything else. When my hair was combed out, he started to rub my shoulders, his thumbs pressing into those tight spots in my upper back. I let out a soft moan.

  “Feel good?”

  “Feels amazing.”

“That so? I bet you I can make you feel even more amazing. Lay down. I am going to lick your pussy until you’re screaming my name.”

Sweet Jesus what that man could do to me with words alone.

He teased me at first. Placed kisses over my mound, over my lips. Then slowly he dragged his tongue down my slit. I wiggled my hips, pushing into him, trying to get his tongue where I wanted it. Where I needed it.

It didn’t work. He just chuckled. “Patience. Good things come to those who wait.”

It was my turn to growl, which only elicited another chuckle from him. But then he started to fuck me with his tongue. Well, maybe waiting wasn’t such a bad thing. Wanting to watch him, I leaned up on my elbows. The image of his dark head between my legs was so incredibly erotic I was transfixed by the site. Morgan looked up at me and winked and I felt myself soak his tongue. His fingers replaced where his tongue had been, while he moved his mouth to my clit. “Yes.” Slow, circular pressure over my clit. He hadn’t forgotten what would drive me crazy. I moaned as my head flopped back and I closed my eyes. “God Morgan! Just like that. Please.”

His mouth made love to me in an unfaltering perfect rhythm. Pleasure built slowly, intensely, until I was hovering on the edge of ecstasy. So close I couldn’t even manage to moan. My mouth opened in silence. My stomach started to tighten and I swore I could feel the pleasure all the way to my throat. Finally, I broke and tumbled over into euphoric bliss. My hips arching and my body thrashing as if Morgan was exorcising the devil himself from my body. The orgasm seemed to go on forever, my hands gripping the sheets as I called out his name. Slowly, I started to calm, feeling spent. Boneless. My body jerked as he lapped at my clit lightly, the stimulus too overwhelming on my sensitive flesh. Morgan crawled up my body, placing gentle kisses along my stomach, my breasts, my neck, and finally my lips.

“I can’t explain how incredible if feels to watch you come apart that way.” Another kiss on my neck. “To watch how you respond to the way I make love to you.”

“It was…I need a word better than amazing…I don’t know if there is a word to describe what that was.” I smiled up at him. God how I had missed him. Missed his touch. Missed the feel of the weight of his body on mine.

He kissed me again, slow and deep. I felt the tip of his cock nudging against me and I raised my hips to push him in further. His movements were slower this time, more controlled. Our eyes never left each other while he whispered how much he loved me, loved being inside me, how I was the only one for him. His words were a balm for my heart. For my soul. I felt him swell inside me and knew by the way he moved, by his breathing, and the way he rolled his hips that he was close. He rested his forehead against mine.

  “Come with me, Jules.”

My body responded to his command, proving again it was his. Then he called my name and I felt him pulse inside me as he came in hot bursts.

He rolled us over, facing each other on our sides, him still inside me. He tucked a lock of hair behind my hair.

“You’re my oxygen, Jules.” Oh, this man.

I took his face in my hands. “I love you, Morgan. I don’t think it’s possible for anyone to love someone more than I love you.”

“I love you, Julia Marie Angelini. You have my heart. And I plan on making sure you know that. Every day. For the rest of our lives.”

  Julia

“…and I am looking forward to you making me an uncle again, so maybe you could start working on that for me.” Hunter raised his eyebrows and paused looking at us in the middle of his Best Man speech prompting laughter from our guests. “I love you both. You deserve all the happiness in the world. To Morgan and Julia!” Hunter raised his glass and a chorus of cheers followed.

Morgan moved into the house with me a few months after we got back together. The adjustment was easy and Sophia loved having her daddy there all the time. Seeing them bond even further and make up for lost time did wonders for my heart and guilty conscious.

Then, at midnight on New Year’s Eve, during a house party we threw for our friends and family, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes, of course. And our wedding date? We chose the anniversary of the first time we were together. The night it had all changed for us.

Our reception was held at an old inn. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and we liked that our guests could stay overnight rather than drive after a night of partying.

I was talking with a few friends when Hunter stole me away and led me to the dance floor.

“I love seeing you look so happy, Idg. The both of you.”

“I am happy. Hunter, thank you for standing by us. I can’t even explain how much your support has meant to me. And I know Morgan feels the same way.”

He nudged my chin and held it in place. “Hey kiddo. I would do anything for the two of you. I…I know it must be hard…” He cut off when I shook my head. I didn’t want to talk about my mother on my wedding day. Neither of our parents were there. We didn’t invite them.

Not long after I started on the morning show, they decided to do a series of segments on the personal lives of the on air personalities. Two days after they aired my segment, which of course featured Morgan and Sophia, my mother called. Not to tell me she missed me or how beautiful her granddaughter was, but to tell me how selfish Morgan and I were to make our relationship public and even worse to let everyone see we had a child together. An illegitimate one at that. Trust me when I say that was a very kind recap of what she actually said. So, while I was done with her and the guys were done with Parker, it still hurt that my mother could do that to me and to my daughter. And I really missed my Dad.

Sensing my mood, Hunter changed subjects. “Morgan told me you guys are looking for a new house. You know you guys can stay there as long as you want.”

Hunter’s house was a three bedroom. We had been sharing the third as an office. We needed more space.

“I know. But, if you want me to start working on all those nieces and nephews you want, we are going to need something a little bigger. We both need office space, too. I love the man, but sharing office space with him? Just no.”

He smirked and nodded in understanding. “You know, we are really excited to have Sophia staying with us while you guys are on your honeymoon.”

I laughed. “Trust me, so is she. She’s been talking nonstop about it for two days straight.” I glanced over at Sophia
, who was monopolizing Uncle Jace’s time. She was totally crushing on him and had followed him around like a puppy during the wedding rehearsal and she took right back up with it at the reception. There she was, in her flower girl dress, looking very much like a wood fairy, sitting on Jace’s lap. It was funny, I was afraid of her taking up too much of his time, but she was actually a pretty good wing girl. All sorts of pretty women were coming over to see the big hot guy wearing a tux who also happened to be all sweet and cuddly with kids. Killer combination. I should know, I had one of my own.

“Hey man, you planning on hogging my wife all night?” Wife. I really liked the sound of that.

Hunter laughed and clapped Morgan on the back. “I wouldn’t dream of it. She’s all yours.”

“They are about to play the song I chose for you.”

“Are they?” I looked up at him through narrowed eyes as I tried to guess what song he chose.

“No, not Stone in Love. A song that pretty much says exactly what I feel.”

Morgan pulled me into his arms and slowly spun me around on the dance floor as I heard the first notes of Ed Sheeran’s Perfect. Morgan sang to me as we danced, the combination of the words and his beautiful voice making me choke up. When the song ended and another slow song began to play, he held me there on the floor.

“Have I told you how beautiful you look today?”

“Oh, only about fifty times, but I still love hearing it.”

He ran a hand over my bare back. “And I really like this.” A kiss on my forehead. “Sexy.” A kiss on my cheekbone. “Sensual.” A kiss on my neck.

I had chosen a Maggie Sottero gown that had a bit of an art deco feel to it. I loved how it accentuated my curves. I also knew Morgan had a weakness for me wearing things with a low cut back. I was glad to see the gown had the desired effect.

“Mmmm. I thought you might.” I leaned in closer, resting my body against his.

“Are you feeling okay?” He took the thumb of the hand that was holding my hip and rubbed it over my tummy. We hadn’t told anyone yet, but Hunter was getting his wish about becoming an uncle again. We decided to start trying a couple of months before the wedding and I got pregnant the first month we tried.

“Yes. Just tired. More tired than I was with Sophia, but I don’t have morning sickness this time.” When I was pregnant with Sophia, it was morning, noon, and night sickness.

“Well you are going to be on a tropical island for a week with nothing to do but rest.”

“Really? Nothing but rest?” I lowered my voice to a sultry tone. “That’s kind of disappointing.”

He pulled me flush against him and I could feel him getting hard. I laughed softly. “Was it something I said?”

Morgan grabbed my hand and started to pull me off the dance floor.

  “Where are we going?”

He raised one dark brown and his eyes sparkled with mischief. “Do you remember what we did during Hunter’s reception?”

“Morgan Stone, are you dragging me off and taking advantage of me at our own wedding reception?”

  “Yes. Is there a problem?”

“Hell yeah, there’s a problem. You’re not walking fast enough.”

  Epilogue

  Morgan

Julia was on her back, legs pulled back, face flushed and shining with perspiration. I smoothed my hand over her hair. She looked at me like she wanted to bite it off. She was in labor with our twin sons.

We had started trying for another baby before we were married. Of course, ideally, it would have been great to have time alone as a couple, but we already had our beautiful little Sophia, so we had already switched things up a little. We also didn’t want the kids to be too spread apart if we could help it. Who knew it would take on the first try? Julia walked down the aisle with our two little bundles in her belly. Except, at that time, we didn’t know there were two.

I missed everything with Sophia, so I was excited to do it all. I went to every doctor’s visit. I was there when we were told we were going to have twins. Fraternal. And I was there when we found out they were boys. I loved watching her belly grow with our little guys inside. Feeling them kick. Trying to figure out which little body part was pushing on her stomach.

They decided to make their grand entrance two and a half weeks early, but I had done my homework and knew it wouldn’t be a problem. Besides, the boys were measuring big. Not surprising since I am tall and so is Jules.

We sent Sophia off to hang out with Uncle Hunter and Aunt Sarah. They would all come later for Sophia to meet her new brothers. Hunter was excited to see his new nephews and Sarah wanted to give her medical stamp of approval on the babies.

We had been brought to the OR. Standard practice apparently when twins are involved, to be prepared in case they had to do a C-Section. I didn’t care how they were born, just as long as the three of them were safe. Our nurse was cool, and she and Jules hit it off really well. That eased my nerves. A little.

I felt kind of helpless. Jules had been in labor for hours already and she was in a hell of a lot of pain and she was kind of mean. Especially to me. The nurse was doing her thing and didn’t even blink when Jules told me she hated me and blamed me for the pain she was in. I looked over to her. “I promise you she did not hate me nine months ago when this all started.”

“I assure you, after doing this job for as many years as I have been doing it, I have heard everything.” She nodded her head in the direction of the ice chips. I scooped up a spoonful and offered it to Jules. She smiled at me.

“I love you, Morgan.” She reached to grab my hand just as another contraction hit. Damn the woman had some grip!

I looked over at the monitor and watched the contraction build. That was the strongest one yet. With my free hand, I grabbed a cloth and wiped the sweat from her face. “Just think, sweetheart. Pretty soon we are going to be holding our sons.”

Another contraction hit. “Yeah and because of your Michael Phelps swimmers, I have to push out two giant babies!”

“Well, I take back what I said. That’s a new one even for me.”

I looked over at the nurse. Not helping.

The doctor walked back in at that moment. “Okay, let’s check you out and see how it’s going.” He examined Jules and smiled up at us. “Julia, you are fully effaced and dilated. Let’s try a push. Ready?”

My nerves kicked in right about then. More people wearing scrubs came into the room. The more people who knew what they were doing, the better. Things moved quickly from there. My focus was on Jules, but I was very much aware of the bustling activity in the background.

“Twin A is crowning, Julia. Let’s get ready to meet your baby boys. Morgan, do you want to come and take a look?”

I looked at the doctor like he had six heads. “I don’t know. Do I?”

  He laughed. “Probably. Come here.”

I gave Jules a quick kiss on the head and went to look. There was the top of my son’s head and it suddenly hit me. I mean I knew it since we found out she was pregnant, but the reality was overwhelming at that moment. Jules was bringing our sons into the world. Sure, I was there along for the ride, but she was the one who nurtured the little guys all those months. She was the one who was giving birth to two little human beings.

I encouraged her while she pushed. Let her squeeze the life out of my hand. Then, our Sawyer was born. The doctor called me over to cut the umbilical cord and I looked down at the squirmy little guy who was all covered in goo and definitely not happy to be out of his mama’s belly.

The nurse placed Sawyer on Jules’s chest and I went over and kissed her. “Look, it’s a mini Jules.” And he was. All blue eyes and chestnut brown hair. Even with his squished up little face, I could tell he looked exactly like her.

A few minutes later, Wyatt was born. I chuckled when I saw him. “Well no doubt who this little man’s daddy is. It’s like looking in a mirror. Right down to the eyes.”

  The nurse snickered. “Morgan, newbor
ns don’t really have green eyes.” She walked over to pick Wyatt up. “Well, I’ll be damned.”

Later, we were moved to a regular room. The boys had been examined and bathed. I never quite understood the fascination with the baby smell until then. Jules was nursing Wyatt while Sawyer napped in my arms. Hunter and Sarah were there and Sophia was completely mesmerized by her new little brothers. Even Jace was there.

Jules looked over at me, smiling from ear to ear. I walked over, peaked at Wyatt’s little face as he suckled from his mama, and pushed a lock of Jules’s hair behind her ear.

  “That’s a beautiful smile.”

“I’ve never been happier than I am right now. This is us. This is our family. Right here in this little room. Thank you for giving me this and for loving me. I love you.”

I bent down and kissed her lips. “Loving you is easy. You are my life. You and these three munchkins.”

I looked around the room and realized she was right. This was our family. Some by blood. Some by choice. Jules and I may have taken the long way, but we were finally just where we were supposed to be.

  Author’s Note

Thank you so much for reading Stone in Love! I cannot express how much I appreciate you taking a chance on a first time author. I hope you enjoyed taking Morgan and Julia’s journey with them. It was a lot of fun writing it!

The next book in the Jersey series will be Jace’s story. Originally, Jace had a very small part in Stone in Love. The more I wrote him, the soft spot I developed for him grew and I knew he deserved his own happily ever after.

Again, thank you so much for reading. It means the world to me. It “totally” does!

  xoxo
