“Lauren, did someone lose a wallet over there?” I pointed to the far side of the peak at a pile of large boulders.
“Hold on, I’ll go see.” Before she reached the spot I pointed at, she shouted, “nope, nothing over there.”
As she spun around to return, I was on one knee, holding up a ring. Tears began to stream down her cheeks as she reached our picnic blanket.
“Lauren, would you do me the honor of being mine in the eyes of the law?”
After choking on several sobs, Lauren nearly knocked my large frame over with a bear hug. “Yes! Of course!”
I may have gotten a bit emotional myself as I slipped the engagement ring on her finger. “No worries, I have a silicone one for you at home you can wear at the gym.”

“Not as gorgeous as you,” I said.
“Is that so?”
