  ABOUT THE EDITOR

  Paula Guran is an editor, reviewer, and typesetter. In an earlier life she produced the weekly email newsletter DarkEcho (winning two Stokers, an IHG Award, and a World Fantasy Award nomination), edited the magazine Horror Garage (earning another IHG and a second World Fantasy nomination), and has contributed reviews, interviews, and articles to numerous professional publications.

  This is, if she’s counted correctly (and she often doesn’t), the forty-seventh anthology Guran has edited. She’s also edited scores of novels and some collections. After more than a dozen years of full-time editing, she is now freelancing.

  Guran has four fabulous grandchildren she would be happy to tell you about.

  She lives in Akron, Ohio, with her faithful cat Nala.
