A Love Like Nun Other: Book One in the Game Winner Duet Page 9

by Nicole, Angela

“Sophia, what are you doing?”

I drop the pillows next to him and kneel down. “If you are going to sleep on the floor, then so am I. Scooch over.”

Leo runs his hand through his hair. “This is ridiculous. Get up in the bed, Sophia. You don’t belong down here with me.”

  Leo

The second it came out of my mouth, I knew she was going to take it the wrong way. And she did.

“Why don’t I belong with you, Leo? Because I’m a virgin? Do you think I’m breakable, like a piece of china?”

  She’s angry.

  Fuck!

I sit up so I’m at her eye level, but she’s looking at the floor. Tilting her face to mine, I give her the honest truth.

“Sophia, I don’t think you’re breakable. I admire the hell out of you for staying true to your beliefs. If I’m being honest, I don’t think I’m good enough for you. I’ve done a lot of stupid things in my life, and you’ve spent your life helping people.”

I push off the floor and walk over to the dresser. Bracing my hands against the top, I want to tell her exactly how I feel, but I hold back.

I must’ve been lost in my thoughts, because I don’t notice Sophia standing behind me until she places her arms around my waist and her head against my back.

She fits perfectly against my body, and in my heart.

  “Leo, please look at me.”

When I turn around, Sophia is smiling.

“We’re quite a couple, huh? Neither one of us thinks we’re good enough for the other. But I think maybe we both need to view this differently. Come and sit.”

Sophia pulls me to the bed. As I sit on the edge, she stands before me like an angel.

“I think you and I both need to stop worrying about whether or not our past dictates who we are now. I know it’s easier said than done but maybe tonight we can forget that one of us been kissed a lot and the other, well, hasn’t.” She laughs.

I reach for her hand, gently pulling her down next to me. I gently rub my thumb over her lips.

“Yes, I’ve kissed a lot of women, Sophia, but not one of those women compare to the way you make me feel when my lips meet yours.”

Sophia crashes her mouth to mine as if I’m the only thing keeping her alive. She moves to straddle my lap. For a millisecond, I think about stopping her, but that thought fades away when I feel the heat and wetness coming from her.

Moaning against my mouth, Sophia runs her hands down my chest to my waist. It’s when she slides her palms into the waistband of my shorts that I pull back a few inches.

“Sweetheart, you don’t have to do that.”

“I want to feel you, Leo. If you don’t want me to, then I’ll stop.”

“Oh, Sophia, there’s no way I want you to stop.”

She smiles as she slides her hand into my shorts. I’ve been hard since she put my t-shirt on.

“I’ve never done this before, so if I don’t do something right…tell me.”

I can’t even form words right now. All I do is nod, but nothing she can do to me won’t feel right.

My mouth goes back to hers as she finds my dick. Her hand barely fits around me. She’s gentle and slow at first, but my moaning against her mouth must excite her as much as me, because she rubs faster.

“Oh shit, it feels so good,” I whisper against her neck.

Realizing if Sophia keeps up the way she’s stroking me, I won’t last. I want her to feel good too.

My right hand reaches hers and she stills. Her eyes meet mine—she’s worried.

“Sophia, you didn’t do anything wrong. In fact, you were doing it too right.” I chuckle. “If I let you keep going, I would’ve, well, come in your hand. I don’t want that to happen. At least, not yet.”

  Sophia

  “Sorry?” I laugh.

Leo laughs too, but then his eyes darken. “I want to make you feel good first. Will you let me do that?”

I swallow my nervousness and nod.

“Lie back on the bed, sweetheart.”

As I scooch up to the head of the bed, we never break eye contact. The look of want in Leo’s eyes has my body aching for his touch.

Leo moves up the bed and sits back on his heels. He lays his hands on my knees, which turns me on as much as it calms me.

“We need to talk first, Sophia. I want to make sure you’re in a good place with this.”

“I know you’re being careful with me, Leo. It’s sexy as hell. But I’m a twenty-seven-year-old woman with the same needs as you. Please don’t overthink this.”

Leo throws his head back with a laugh. “Honey, I’ve been overthinking everything since the day you refused to be my nurse.”

Leo grabs my hip, which is the most ticklish spot on my body, and I nearly jump off the bed.

“I didn’t refuuuuuse,” I scream as he continues to tickle me.

Suddenly, Leo shuts me up when he kisses me gently. He pulls back slightly and I notice his light blue eyes are now deep sea blue.

He cocks his head to the side. “Has anyone every put their mouth here?” he asks as his fingers slide in from my hip to my hoo-hah. I clench at this touch and shake my head no.

“Has anyone ever given you an orgasm before?”

  Oh God, confession time.

  “No one else but me.”

“I want to taste you, Sophia,” Leo growls.

I throw down the challenge with a grin. “Then do it.”

  Leo

As if my dick couldn’t get any harder, Sophia’s confession somehow made it. Knowing I’ll be the first man to have his mouth on her, to make her come, has my heart racing.

Sophia props her head up on a pillow. “I want to watch you.”

Her voice is different. It’s more forceful, not hesitant.

Looking up at her, I notice how large my t-shirt is on her. I slide the shirt all the way up to her shoulders. “Take this off, Sophia. I want to look at you too.”

She complies quicker than I expected. In one move, the shirt is off and she throws it across the room.

Laying before me is a goddess, wearing only a pair of plain, pink cotton underwear. No lace or satin and yet she’s the sexiest damn woman I’ve ever seen.

Reaching for her hips, I loop my fingers into the waistband of her panties.

  Sophia gasps but I continue.

Slowly, I slide them down. Feeling how smooth her legs are makes my dick so hard, it’s coming out of the top of my shorts.

Sophia licks her lips at the sight. Maybe next time, sweetheart.

If I had any doubt whether Sophia was ready for me, they are put to rest the second I look at her pussy. It’s smooth and bare, glistening with wetness.

Her knees fall to the side in anticipation of my touch. My mouth waters at the sight of her.

“You’re perfect, Sophia,” I tell her as I rub her inner thighs with my thumbs.

She bites her bottom lip and gives me a sultry smile. My sweet little virgin is quickly turning into a vixen.

Not wanting to wait another second, I wrap my arms under her knees and quickly pull her down to the edge of the bed.

I’m on my knees, staring at heaven.

“Oh my God, Leo.” She laughs, but it’s cut short when I kiss the inside of her thigh.

  “Leo,” she moans.

“Hang on, sweetheart,” I say, nuzzling her further down her leg.

As if she can’t wait, her hands move to my head as she takes control. I fucking love it.

  Sophia

He’s taking too long, driving me crazy with his kisses. Taking control, I guide his mouth to my pussy. As Leo’s tongue grazes my clit, I pull him in deeper.

I’m no longer the shy woman who’s barely been kissed. I’m a sexual woman, ready to let go with a man who makes me feel beautiful.

Leo’s tongue pushes into my entrance as he opens me. I don’t know how much more I can take. It’s too intense.

  “Leo, I can’t,” I whimper.

He moves up my body, le
aving a trail of hot kisses with his mouth. His lips land on mine and I can taste myself on him.

He pulls back just enough to look me in the eye. “Do you trust me to make you feel good?”

“Yes, but it’s so intense. I’ve never felt a buildup like this before.”

He rubs my cheek with his thumb. “Sweetheart, intense is good. I know you can take it. Please let me do this for you.”

“Yes, Leo. Make me come,” I say in a voice that doesn’t sound like my own.

  Leo

Sophia has given me a gift, one I won’t take for granted. I’ll worship her as long as she lets me.

Moving my hands back down her thighs, I apply slight pressure to the inside of her knees. Sophia complies by letting her legs fall open.

I lick my way down from her belly button to her clit. Sophia raises her hips. I grab them without removing my mouth, and guide her back down to the bed.

“Leoooo,” she cries out. Her body is trembling and I can tell she’s close.

I rub her slick center with my thumb and she’s off, over the edge. Sophia screams my name as her body shakes.

  I fucking love it.

  Sophia

Leo works me down from my peak. Once my breathing slows, he gathers me in his arms. “That was so sexy, Sophia,” he whispers in my ear.

I don’t disagree. He makes me feel sexy.

“I’ve never experienced anything like that before. It was so strong. I didn’t know if I was going survive it.” I laugh.

I notice he discreetly tries to adjust himself in his shorts. He’s huge. I’ve felt him and can’t help but wonder what it’d feel like to have him inside me.

I yawn and Leo snickers. “Did I tire you out?”

I rub my hand along his chest. “I don’t think I can keep my eyes open much longer. I feel selfish, like I should return the favor, but between the sun, food, and that amazing orgasm, I don’t know how long I can stay awake.”

Leo shifts us in the bed, pulling the covers over us.

“Sleep then, Sophia. We’ll be back on the road in the morning.”

Leo kisses my head and it’s the last thing I remember until the morning.

  * * *

When I wake up, Leo is already dressed.

  “Good morning, sleepyhead.”

“Morning,” I say with a stretch.

“The car’s already fixed, and Cary made us some breakfast to go. She wanted us to stay awhile but I told her we had dinner plans with your parents.”

When I spoke with my parents last night and explained what happened, they insisted I bring Leo to dinner. I’m not sure if Papa wants to kill him for spending the night with me or if my mother wants to kiss him. Either way, Leo is coming to Sunday dinner at the Varsalonas.

The ride home was interesting. Leo asked me questions about my time in the convent. He wanted to know why I went in, what I did all day, and why I got out.

He listened closely as I told him about my father’s wishes for me, and the pressure I felt to become a nun. Two years in, I knew it wasn’t for me. Instead of praying, and meditating with the others, my mind would wander to dating, marriage and kids. Wondering what I was missing, I began to pull away from the others.

When I told my parents about my change of heart, my father was devastated. My mother, on the other hand, was thrilled.

Leo didn’t give me a sense of judgement but rather sympathy.

He did beg for more pictures of my time as a nun. It’s not something I’m ashamed of, but it’s not how I want Leo to see me either.

When our conversation turned to Leo and his college days, I was relieved.

Dinner with my parents went better than expected. Leo seemed at ease with them, even as my father peppered him with questions.

Questions about soccer, his family, and of course, his intentions where I’m concerned. Leo took it all in stride, even helping my mother do the dishes.

“Your parents are great,” he says as he holds my hand during the car ride back to my place.

“They certainly mean well. I think my mom has a crush on you.” I glance at him.

He smiles. “You mean, she didn’t pinch your other boyfriends’ cheeks?”

My stomach flips at the thought. “I’ve never had a boyfriend, I mean, a real boyfriend before. They frown upon that in the convent,” I say nervously.

Leo reaches over and rubs my leg. “Well, then I guess I’m lucky enough to be your first boyfriend.”

  Leo

The minute I realize even if I’m the first, I may not be the last. That thought makes my stomach turn.

“What’s wrong?” Sophia asks as I try to rid my mind of thoughts of her with another man.

“Nothing, why?” I try to shake it off.

“Well, for one, you made a statement about being my boyfriend, then the next second, you look like you want to kill someone.”

Fuck! I can’t tell her why I’m pissed. I just know I need to get her out of my car, and fast. If I don’t, I’m not sure she’ll be able to handle my truth. So, I lie.

“Sorry. I just remembered something I have to do when I get home.”

Sophia seems to believe me because she just offers a smile.

“I had a great time the last two days, Leo,” Sophia whispers, not making eye contact. My vixen suddenly turns shy.

“Me too. And I won’t apologize for what happened with my car. It was the best thing that could’ve happened.” I smile without taking my eyes off the road.

Sophia laughs. “Hmm. I’m beginning to think you broke your alternator on purpose.”

“I probably would’ve done it had I known what would’ve happened last night,” I toss back to her with a wink.

Pulling up to her place, I’m torn. I need to get some distance for my own sanity, but I want to hold her again tonight, like I did last night.

Common sense wins out. “Come on, sweetheart. It’s been a long day for you. I’ll walk you to your door.”

  Sophia

God, I didn’t want this weekend to end, but I knew it had to. Leo was a gentleman as he walked me to my door. I asked him if he wanted to come in but he declined. Something seemed to be off, but he did say he had something to do. Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but everything I’ve heard from Brenda makes me leery about what comes next.

  * * *

Peeling one eye open, I see my clock says 5:03 a.m. My shift starts at 7:00, so I have a few minutes to swing by the deli before I head in.

I shower quickly, throw my hair up in a bun, put on my favorite pair of pink scrubs, and head out the door.

The smell of my dad’s coffee hits me as I walk through the door. It’s a combination of caramel and chocolate on Monday’s.

I kiss him on the cheek as he hands me my coffee and breakfast sandwich before he even says hello. He’s always teased me about being grumpy before my breakfast, so this has always been his peace offering.

“Good morning,” I say with a smile.

“Good morning, Sophia. You’re certainly happy this morning. Could it have anything to do with the soccer star?” He smirks. I’ve never seen my father smirk. I think my father has a little bromance thing going with Leo.

“You like him, don’t you?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.

My mother comes out from the back with a bagged lunch for me. I don’t come here expecting my breakfast and lunch to be given to me, but my parents are always looking to feed everyone.

“Thank you,” I tell her as she pulls up a chair.

“Sweetheart, it doesn’t matter if I like Leo. In my opinion, no man will ever be good enough for you. The only thing that matters is how you two feel about each other.”

I have to admit, this is the first time my parents and I have spoken about any type of romantic relationship. It’s a little weird.

I guess there’s no reason to not be honest with them. “I do like him. I like Leo a lot.”

My mother squeals with excitement, but my father brings her back down
to earth quickly. “Carla, don’t get ahead of yourself. Sophia isn’t going to get married and have babies any time soon.”

My eyes go wide as my mother responds. “Just because it took you so long to know you loved me, Vito, doesn’t mean it can’t happen quicker for our daughter.”

OK, I need to shut this conversation down, and quick.

“Hey, nobody is getting married and having babies anytime soon. Leo and I have had, like, three dates.”

My mother grabs my hand. “Sophia, I see the way Leo looks at you. He’s smitten, just like you father is with me. I just hope it doesn’t take Leo four years to tell you.” She tosses my father a knowing look.

My father responds with an eye roll that’d rival a sixteen-year-old girl.

“Gee, look at the time.” I glance at my nonexistent watch.

I grab my lunch and kiss them both goodbye.

Traffic is light this morning, so I make it to work a few minutes early.

After Georgia, my shift supervisor, fills me in on my morning patients, she asks to see me in her office at the end of my lunch break. To be honest, I’m not sure what to expect. I’ve always had terrific evaluations, but maybe someone has filed a complaint.

Although the morning goes smoothly, Georgia’s request has played on my mind the whole time.

I head to grab my lunch and cell out of my locker. It’s a beautiful day, so I head out to the pavilion to eat. When I get there, I turn my cell on. Immediately, I get text message notifications.

The first is from Brenda, checking in to see how my dinner with Leo and the family was. I laugh as I tell her about how handsy my mother was with Leo and how my father didn’t stop questioning him about soccer.

The second text I get is from Leo. He wants me to call him when I’m on lunch, so I immediately dial his number.
