I suck in a harsh breath at the sound of my twin’s name.
“Simone,” I whisper.
“Yeah, baby, your sister is alive,” Fuse murmurs.
“Why didn’t you tell me this before now?” I ask, starting to get upset. I’ve been back for a while now and he saw her way before then, so why not tell me.
“Because, Ly, you weren’t in the right frame of mind to hear about her. Not after what all you went through. Second, she’s being taken care of. I spoke with Nerd, who put me in touch with their club’s charter that’s in South Carolina. According to Cy and Axe over there, she’s been placed in a facility in Alabama. From what I looked into myself and what they’ve told me, it’s the best place for her.” Okay, I get why he didn’t tell me. He’s right. I wasn’t in a good place, but that doesn’t negate the fact, my sister’s alive and I’m sitting here when I should be looking into her.
“Can we go see her? I need to see her,” I murmur.
“And we will, baby. I promise. The facility she’s in right now is working with her on some things that she needs help with. Soon as they say she’s allowed to have visitors, I’ll take you there first thing,” he states firmly.
Nodding, I bite my lip. “Um, is there more?”
“Yeah, baby. I’ve got more. I looked into you and your sister’s adoption. Did you know that your birth parents had another kid?”
“What?” I ask in astonishment at this news. I didn’t know any of this. Then again, I had awesome parents and didn’t worry about thinking about them. After Simone ‘died’, they became somewhat more protective of me, but they were great people.
“You have an older brother. I know who he is, baby, but I’m asking for you to give me a bit of time with this information until I know more about this situation,” he says. Something in his tone tells me he needs this.
Although I want to ask, I nod and give him what he needs. “Okay. But promise me the minute you can, you’ll tell me.”
“I promise, ma douce,” he murmurs.
“Is there anything else?” I probe.
“That’s it for now, baby,” he says, his eyes changing.
“Good, then, will you hold me?” I whisper my question wanting to feel his arms around me. Needing to feel him surrounding me.
“You don’t need to ask that, Lyrica. I intend to always hold you to me. For the rest of my life,” Fuse grins, sliding his hands up to cup both sides of my face. “Now, how about I hold you while we do something a whole lot more and I get your mind off the bad I had to give you?” I give him a smile at his suggestion and lean in for him to do just that.

Lyrica
Three Months Later
“Are you coming to the clubhouse tonight for the party? All the kids are gonna stay in the playroom as we have some fun.” I grin as Faith wags her brows up and down.
“Yeah, Fuse wants me with him tonight and I couldn’t say no,” I giggle. I’m usually always with him when he’s at the clubhouse. I also go with him when he has his fight nights.
I even had a shirt made to go under my property cut with FUSE written across my boobs.
This way, if someone wasn’t deterred by the cut, they’d see it on the boobs and hopefully back away.
“Good, I need a night without the kiddos. Love them, but I need some alone time,” Faith murmurs.
Nodding, I continue to smile at her.
“Why don’t we all head over there now? You guys get the kids settled, then we’ll have some fun,” I suggest, glancing between all the ol’ ladies. I’m the only one that doesn’t have a child yet and I’m not worried so much about it. At least for now. I have time for that, and it’ll happen when it happens. I’m just enjoying all the time I have with Fuse to myself for the time being.
“You guys have fun. I’m gonna head home and curl up with my book after getting Owen down for bed,” Nora mutters and stands. The small bump she now has sticks out and I’m happy for her even if something seems off with her.
“Okay, are you sure?” I ask, furrowing my brow.
“Yeah, I’m sure.” She nods and heads for the door.
I look to the others as the door closes behind her to find them staring after her.
“Is she okay?” I whisper the question they all seem to have on their minds.
“She will be. Somethings are just making her feel insecure right now, it seems and it’s not helping Breaker’s clueless to it all,” Tiny mutters. “Anyways, let’s get to the clubhouse and get ready for some fun.”
I help them all gather up the kids. They don’t need anything else since they keep stuff for them in the clubhouse as backups.
Soon as we’re ready, we make our way from Tiny’s house to the clubhouse. The moment we enter the main room, my eyes immediately find Fuse, who is sitting next to Breaker. The guy seems to be staring into the beer bottle in his hands. I give my man a wave and go help the other ol’ ladies set up the kiddos. This doesn’t take long, and I head back out to the main room to join Fuse.
“Hey, baby,” he says, sitting back in his seat in invitation for me to join him. I take a seat in his lap and look straight to Breaker.
“You need to talk to your ol’ lady,” I declare, getting his attention.
“Ly.” I shake my head at Fuse, trying to stop me.
“No, he needs to understand,” I mutter to him and look back to Breaker to find him glaring at me. “Do you want to lose Nora?” I ask.
“What the fuck do you think?” he growls.
“I take that as a no. So you need to stop being a clueless dick and talk to her. It’s not easy being an ol’ lady. And I reckon it’s not easy being a pregnant one at that. What I do know is emotions run high and you, my friend, are not protecting that woman of yours. She might be full of attitude most of the time, but right now, she’s not. She’s feeling shit that has to be getting to her. Hence her reason for deciding to go home and read after putting Owen to bed instead of being here. I’m betting I know why too,” I say, glancing around the room to see one of the strays eying Breaker. Okay, not just one but several of them. They sense things aren’t all well and want to prey on it like the skanks they are.
“And why would that be?” Breaker’s voice turns harsh, but his face says it all. He doesn’t know how to fix what’s going on.
“Breaker, my friend, look around. There are women here, pretty, beautiful women, who are willing to jump you at a snap of your fingers. As a woman myself, I wouldn’t want to think of myself pregnant, feeling bigger than ever even if I’m not and knowing my man could be thinking about someone else,” I say, getting a squeeze from Fuse.
“Ma douce, you think that, and I’ll spank your ass,” Fuse mutters in my ear.
I’m staring at Breaker, not wanting to back down, so I ignore his comment as well as his curse when the door opens.
I watch Breaker’s eyes flicker as if he’s letting what I said sink in fully. When it does, he downs the rest of his beer and stands. “Thanks, Ly,” he mutters and turns to leave, only to stop when he also looks to the door.
I follow his gaze to see a man standing there with a menacing glare.
He looks familiar in some way, but I’ve never seen him before.
“Wire, what can I help you with?” Chains asks, stepping forward.
“I’m looking for my sister,” he growls, meeting Chains’ eyes.
Fuse places his hands on my hips and lifts me off his lap, sets my feet on the floor. He then stands himself and curls an arm around my shoulders, holding me to him.
“Ly, baby, this is your brother, Dillon, also known as Wire, member of the Wings of Diablo MC.”
Oh shit.
And it’s then I realize why Fuse didn’t want to tell me about my brother. He’s a part of our world in another MC.
Great.
Now we can live happily ever after knowing this. Okay, I’m not so sure about that. What I do know is with Fuse holding me, I’ll get through this as I did the rest of t
he bad that’s happened to me.
Dear Readers,
I really hope you all enjoyed Fuse’s Hold. Did you like that little twist at the end? Oh, just wait, there’s more to come on that tidbit. If you wanna know who Dillon is check out Rae B. Lakes series Wings of Diablo MC. You can also get Dillon’s book coming April 30.
As you know, I always give you two books in this series per couple. That being said, Fuse and Lyrica’s book will be Lyrica’s Lasting. This will be somewhere at the beginning of next year.
Up next in the Inferno’s Clutch MC is . . . Nora’s Outrage! See what happens and if they’ll be able to overcome what all is coming between them.
Oh, also note that all of my books are connected into one world that’s massive.
Sincerely,
E.C.

I was warned not to touch her, but I couldn’t help myself.
Trista came to work for Pins and Needles months ago. After we fired the receptionist, she seemed like a perfect fit. My boss and best friend, Kronid, warned me to stay away. Warned me that Trista is off-limits and to go after any other woman I want in Moscow.
The problem? I want her.
I want her so much that I leave subtle hints to Kronid’s pregnant girlfriend, Dema, who’s also best friends with Trista. After a period of time, Dema sets me up on a blind date with her, just as I wanted. Kronid warned me to stay away, but his precious woman playing matchmaker is something he can’t deny.
I think everything’s going great until I watch the way Trista trembles when she gets too close to me, or any man for that matter. I see the signs. I know what’s happened in her past, and I’ll do anything to keep her safe. She just doesn’t know it yet.
Nora’s Outrage
Nora
After all Breaker and I went through when we first got together, you would think it would all be downhill from here. No one should have to go through what we have. The drama has been swirling around the club for a while now and it seems the danger attached is coming our way once again.
In a way that could change everything.
I’m not ready for the outcome or even the rage that becomes all-consuming. Screaming in outrage, I vow to make those who come after the ones I care about endure the same pain they cause with their actions.
Malice’s Soul
Malice
For as long as I can remember, I’ve only felt one thing—hatred.
No other emotion has ever lived within the confines of my soul. On many occasions, I’ve been told I have no soul. Not that I give a damn. It only means I won’t get burned. Growing up, I saw the people closest to me get hurt by those who were important to them. It showed me that feelings were overrated. It worked fine until that one day, the day she walked in. I wasn’t prepared for what it meant when she walked through my clubhouse door. One look at her and I knew I’d do anything to keep her safe. For so long, I’ve felt hatred, but this woman makes me feel something else—fire.
Tyres’ Wraith
Tyres
I’ve been through shit in my life, both literally and figuratively, but as the VP of the Inferno’s Clutch MC, I signed up for it. The one person who didn’t sign up for it is my darling little girl, Wren.
It’s just her, me, and the club.
For a kid her age, she’s been through it too, especially considering she was kidnapped not too long ago. Finding out about her made me change a lot. I’m no longer the reckless S.O.B. who’d pull out his gun without even thinking. Now I’m calculating, knowing at the end of the day I have to get back home to her.
But hell, being a single dad isn’t easy. I get as much help from the club as I can, but sometimes it’s just too much. Tiny recommends I get some help, ‘cause Wren can’t keep sleeping in my bed at the club, so I tell her I’ll think about it. Never did I anticipate the woman would take it upon herself to hire a nanny for me, and she’s a vision.
I know I’m asking for trouble . . . but I don’t give a flying fuck.
Viking
She was mine before she even knew it.
Viking
I claimed her the day she turned eighteen. I knew the second I saw her, I wanted Fawn to be
mine, so I laid down the law and ensured any brother, near or far, would never even glance in her direction.
She’s been running from me for long enough, but now it’s time to take what’s mine. She’s not a teenager anymore, but instead, she’s a woman. A woman who’s experienced life, who partied in college, traveled, not to mention many other things. I’ve given her space to grow and now it’s time she comes home.
Still, Fawn wants to run. She wants to get far away from the club life, but as a creep comes out of the woodwork and starts stalking her, she turns to me for help.
I’ll do anything for her, even if she tries to keep running. With any luck through this, she’ll realize she’s only meant to be one place—by my side.
