  Epilogue

  Nothing tastes like Ava; nothing feels as good as her. Every damn day is better with Ava in it. I thought I'd blown it for good. I almost did. But we fixed it together. I know things won't always be easy with her. Things aren't always easy with me either though. We have flaws and we make mistakes. And my dad and Kate are right, we are young. But so, what? Some people are lucky enough to find what they want right away. Some guys know they want to be a football star from the time they are seven years old and some girls dream of dancing in the ballet before they can barely walk. No one tells them that they are too young to know what they want. I want Ava, I'll never want anything more than I want her. I don’t know what career I want or where I want to live. Honestly, I don't give a fuck. But I know this. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. And she may not know what her life holds either, where she will be in a year or in five years. She's going to grow and change, and we will both become different people over the years. But my heart will always belong to Ava and Ava's heart will always be mine. And that's all that matters.

  Acknowledgements;

  I’d like to thank some important people:

  To my husband: Thank you for 20 years of loving support. For encouraging me to follow my dreams, and for working tirelessly so I can stay home, raise our children and write.

  To my friend and mentor Brian: Thank you for your friendship and undying faith in me. For believing I could do more than I thought possible and for inspiring me to ‘Write without fear’.

  To my children: For having patience when dinner was late, and the dishes piled up while I sat at a computer screen. For not complaining (too loudly) when my head was in the clouds and for being the best kids a mom could have.

  And finally: To all my on-line friends, especially those on Twitter for your advice and encouragement.

  Thank you all!

  With deepest Love.

  Sadie Rose.
