  That pissed her off.

They could have all been vented in their greed.

She looked at her data pad and wiped her brow. Was it getting hot in here?.... “Computer regulate ambient temperature. Its too hot.”

  “Unable to comply. System failure.”

Fuck!... Bloody virus. She took a calming breath. “Ok people, we’re moving on to the next breach.” Everyone on her detail picked up whatever they needed to to move on. They were avoiding the lifts. With the virus playing systems up, no one was interested in being caught in one.

Approaching the second one on Deck B, it looked much like the other one. The bulkhead had buckled in several places under the pressure of the breach until the security forcefield had kicked in almost immediately, but it hadn’t saved it from the pressure difference at the moment of impact. Cleaning bots were moving around crazily trying to clean up the mess. Marlea didn’t want to think about exactly what they were cleaning up but right now, they were in her way.

“Computer stop cleaning bots in this section until further notice. Re-engage cleaning bots in previous breach section.”

“Affirmative.” She watched as the bots stopped and moved off grateful that was still working.

As she approached the gap to space, she took in the damage in more detail then pulled up the damage schematic on her data pad. This was going to take more work than the other one. She looked at the engineering diagnostic then the ships computer. They were gonna be here a while. Marlea took a deep breath.

“Ok peeps. First things first. I need that bulkhead cut away, then a new piece goes in and the support. We’ll need to double line it. It has a weakness now so we’re gonna have to compensate for that.” She moved out of the way to let her people work. When fixed, it would be as strong as the rest of the ship.

His men were helping all over the ship. Each one displayed on his optic. They were helping in various sections. Engineering, prisoner transfer, injured, fibre optic’s, structural work and the computer systems. He made his way to the Bridge. The problem with the virus was causing an unknown risk.

As he entered, he opened his neuro net. Report.

It’s a gobbler. Thinking software. Aggressive. Eating any command it finds, re-routing systems as it goes. Bane told him.

  Can we stop it?

Not sure. Never seen one like it before. We could shut the ship down and re-boot it hoping we catch a break or we can try shutting down all systems ahead of it and hope for the best, then kill it and reboot what its messed with but there are no guarantees. Its possible the ships computer won’t wake up again.

Cage mentally nodded. Any idea where they got it?

Nope. No signature but at a guess I’d say they pinched it off another ship. It has some tags buried in it but none that I recognise. Can’t send it to our ship in case it gets out but I have a sample to take back with us

The Admiral wants us back ASAP.

Bane looked up over the consule he was working on. He pissed?

  Very.

  At you or us?

  Me.

  The female?

  Yep.

Good luck with that. He moved back to what he was doing.

Cage held back the sneer. It wasn’t going to help him and a waste of energy.

The lights blinked several times causing disruption to the work. Now what? thought Marlea as Egar came around the corner just after. She guessed her 10 hours were up.

“Getting there,” he told her as she passed him the data pad looking around at the completed work.

“Yeah. There’s something going on with the lights.”

He nodded. “I’ll have someone check on it.”

“No need.” She knew the voice and turned towards it. Cage.

“Your computer virus is causing havoc we’re on it. Trying to isolate it, remove it if possible.”

“I thought your people were good at that sort of thing?” she asked.

“They are but this is new. Its what we call a Gobbler. Eats away at any commands and re-routes systems. Its pulling from the lights right now. We’re trying to get ahead of it. If left unchecked it would have brought this ship to a standstill and been ripe for the picking later.”

A chill ran through her. “You think this isn’t over?”

Cage nodded. “No one goes to that much trouble for nothing.”

Marlea looked at Egar. “Keep your eyes open and get this fixed ASAP. We need to be prepared if it comes to another fight.” He nodded. Feeling exhausted, she went to go passed Cage and stopped. “Thanks for all your help, we have a fighting chance because of that.”

  “We’re not leaving.”

  “What?”

“This isn’t over and until it is, we’re staying here to help. You should go eat.” He told her.

It was like a weight lifted from her shoulders that had got heavier as the day had worn on. Marlea nodded. She was hungry and tired and made her way up two decks to the refectory.

She wasn’t at all surprised to see Cage with her when she turned to take a tray. “Are you eating?” she asked him.

“Yes, we had some of our food moved over.”

Marlea pick up several items that looked good. “When was permission given for that?”

  “It wasn’t.”

Marlea shook her head helping herself to what looked like real chicken in a …. Was that mushroom? “You’re a bad boy Commander.”

He watched her face as she picked the foods she liked. He scented the air. She was happy. She liked a bad boy? He’d done that for her…… A sense of rightfulness settled in him. “You like it,” slipped out.

She grabbed some drinks and turned, her tray full. Glad no one else was in the room. He was a plain speaker, no games here. She liked that. “That’s true, I do and I’d like to explore that more, when I have time.” She told him taking her tray to a table, sitting down. Cage fill up his own and sat opposite her.

“You going to eat all that?” she asked mocking him. His plate was piled higher than hers by a mile.

“Yes, we eat a lot. I might go back for more.”

Marlea was sure she looked as surprised as she felt. That muscle had to come from somewhere, she thought as she tucked in. The flavours bursting on her tongue. She couldn’t hold back the moan of delight that escaped her.

“OMG, that, is truly amazing.” She told him taking another bite.

Cage enjoyed watching her eat. He didn’t need is data to tell him that. Just sitting with her brought him a kind of peace he rarely found. But he needed to talk to her about his nano’s and her blood. The Admiral hadn’t been wrong. He’d been neglectful in his duty to her. “I must talk to you,” he told her. She waved her knife at him while she carried on eating. Was that a yes?.....

He charged forward, needing to get it all out before she walked away. He odds were that she would once he’d stopped. “I did not tell you all there was to know about Cyborgs before we joined. I should have. I should have taken the time and made you stop until fully aware of what was happening.”

She frowned and chewed looking at him then swallowed. “I think I was only too aware of what was happening.” She went back to her food.

“I am talking about the dangers of Cyborgs bonding with humans. Of Cyborgs imprinting on them.”

She looked up again and stopped eating. “I don’t understand.”

“Exactly. Cyborgs, we have animal DNA in us. We take on some of their traits too. Finding a female who is compatible with us is a rare thing. Mistakes were made when females first became an option for us. Cyborgs died before knowing why or how it affected us. Now we do. Protocols have been put in place to protect both the female and the Cyborg. What we did, over rid all that. My Admiral is not happy, he wants me back ASAP to answer for my actions. There’s a likely chance that taking your blood has bonded me to you. The sex will have strengthened that bond. I’ve done the blood analysis and its being looked at now. If I’m bonded to
you and you reject me, I will have to try the cure if I get there in time. If that fails, I might die.”

  Chapter Three

WTF! I might die….. Her appetite suddenly went. Cage had given that speech then tucked into his food like it was nothing. How could he eat after that?..... She pushed her plate away, looking at the delicious food sadly.

“Eat you need the nourishment,” he told her shovelling in more food.

Marlea shook her head in bewilderment. She needed to clear some things up. “Look this isn’t all on you. Ok you tried to help with the injury and I’m thankful. I could have bled out, we both know that before any medical help could have saved me and the sex, well let’s be honest, I wasn’t exactly complaining now was I.”

“I should have explained the risks more clearly,” he told her between more food going into his mouth.

“Would that have stopped you trying to save me?”

He looked up at her. “No.”

Marlea smiled. “Exactly. We’d still be here. Because I wanted that sex as much as you did. If that has placed you in danger, you need to go, now. I can’t have you dying because of me.”

“Can’t,” he told her going back to his food.

“Why not?” He was starting to annoy her.

“Your ships compromised. They’ll be coming back. On your own, your no match for them and logic says they will probably come back in force once they realise their ship hasn’t returned.”

“Ok, so you go back and leave your men here.”

“I command, I don’t leave.” He finished his food and took several long pulls on his drink.

“If you towed us with you, how long would it take to get to your base?”

“With the extra weight and size of this craft, a couple of weeks.”

“Can you wait a couple of weeks if your bonded?”

“Around you, it should be fine.”

  “Wont that make it worse?”

  “Yes.”

“Then how is that helping!” She flung herself back in her seat. The man was infuriating.

He stared at her. She was angry and upset. The air was thick with it. Every solution she’d found wouldn’t work in one way or another. Nothing might but he hadn’t said that. The results of his blood work flowed across his optic. He was bonded. It wasn’t a surprise. He was acting out of character. His data supplying a never ending run down of just how much. “I do not mean to upset you. My results just informed me that I am bonded to you. You do not need to accept it. There is a cure that has been successful in some cases and I will do it as soon as I am back at the Space Station. Unless…..”

  Marlea leaned forward. “Unless what?”

“Unless you wish to bond formally. But I should warn you. I am Cyborg. We are predators and given the green light we go after what we want and take it. Our behaviour is dominant, possessive and once turned on, our sex drive is beyond human males. We like to fuck, a lot. Day or night makes no difference, or even when or where. It is always consensual but, it will be demanding and explorative. Your body will ache for it. I will sense it and be driven to take you hard over and over again until I am satisfied you have had your fill. I will let you rest, feed you and fuck you all over again. So females need to be sure. Bonding is a lifetime commitment. There’s no fucking and leaving or changing your mind. If that happens, then the Cyborg has chosen poorly, he will have imprinted on the female and her rejection causes them to cease to function.”

Wow…… had he just described the best sex ever?...... Will cease to function, permeated the desire rising in her body. He made her so damn hot and needy….. Images of that cock and fucking her surfaced. Shit… she was in trouble…. She tried clearing her throat and focusing. “So they die?” she asked innocently, her heat rising, her nipples hardening once more and her stomach quivering.

He gave her a slow nod and growled, piercing her with his eyes. “Your desire is in the air female. It’s pulling at me.” He gripped the table. “Unless you want me to fuck you on this table you need to pull it back. Now.”

  Marlea’s belly quivered in anticipation. “I…..I can’t.”

“Can’t or won’t.” He asked roughly slowly standing.

Marlea swallowed. He was magnificent….. “Won’t,” slipped passed her lips.

Within seconds he was beside her and lifting her from her seat. “Computer lock down this room, no one in or out.” He walked her to another table and put her down.

  “Affirmative.”

They both made short work of their clothes and her legs opened wide as she pulled him to her. “Fuck, I need this,” she told him stroking down his cock.

Cage grasped her hair and pulled her head back tightly to look up at him. He wanted to see those eyes when he fucked her. “Be sure female. You know where this goes.”

In answer she wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him in more. “I’m sure Cyborg. Fuck me.”

Cage smiled down at her face. His cock poised at her entrance. Slowly, so they could both feel every millimetre of his cock going in, he pushed. Her eyes widened at the penetration and again as he crossed over what was left of her virginal membrane barrier stretching it wide once more. Then on, moving deep inside her, through and moving passed the barrier to her womb. He stopped as his balls connected with her nether lips, kissing her hungrily.

He was so fucking deep……. Her body open for his seed……

Marlea was sure she’d forgotten to breath. Cage seemed to be breathing for her. She could feel so much of him inside her. The pinch and ache along with the deliciousness of how much of him there was. She was hardly a shy virgin but damn, this man had a lot to give a girl!

He broke the kiss and rubbed his face along hers, leaning her back and kissing down her neck. Marlea panted looking for breath. Her body so on fire she was sure she would orgasm any second. It was there, right there, on the cusp.

“Move, need to come…” she told him. He did. Strong deep powerful strides in and out of her body. She fell back on the table, cupping her breast with one hand and delving for her clit with the other. Opening her legs wider for him he watched every movement she made. “Harder, need to come. So close.” He grabbed her thighs, pounding into her as she stroked herself. The dam broke and Marlea screamed. “Yes!” as she saw sparks and it washed over her.

The image of his female pleasure herself while he rode her would stay with him forever. It was a sight of beauty. And now, after the explosiveness of coming she was stroking herself prolonging the pleasure instinctively. He rode her slowly. Helping to draw even more from her body. Her hands dropped away as she enjoyed the pleasure rolling through her and he took over. Caressing her, keeping her close to the edge. He wasn’t done. He’d spoken the truth. She wanted him and in return, he would fuck her and bring her pleasure beyond anything she’d experienced before. A growl rolled up into his throat. His data was clear. Only his cock should be in this female. WOULD be in this female.

The intensity of his need taking over his logic. He withdrew from her body and went on his knees. Lifting her legs over his shoulders he moved in to what he wanted most. Her, on his tongue and down his throat. He feasted with her cries of pleasure in his ears.

  ***

Later, much later and after the most incredible few hours, he’d wrapped her in a sheet of some kind and taken her to her rooms. Sending the cleaning bots in and giving a time frame for the refectory to re-open.

On waking, she felt guilty. Again. Several times during their time together it crossed her mind that he was placing himself in more and more danger being with her but to her shame, she’d not stopped him. She’d actually encouraged him. Taking her turn in exploring him and sucking on that cock. Her mouth had ached, but she wasn’t given up that prize.

To her surprise she woke to find him sleeping, wrapped around her. The big man laid out for her to gaze on. They’d been so much to look at. Naked and unashamed, everything on display just for her.

Unable to stop herself, she ran a
hand across his peck and caressed his nipple. His body was littered with scars. Some large some small. One ran straight through his peck and nipple almost slicing it in half. She wondered what did that.

It wasn’t difficult to see that he’d been in a great many battles. If the nano’s did their job, then these scars were the remnants of some serious injuries. Marlea’s heart clenched. He could have died many times over and she’d never have met him. He’d never have arrived to save them. He’d never have been her lover…..

His hand came up and closed over hers. “Why are you sad?” he asked quietly.

Tears hit her eye’s she couldn’t hold them back. “You could have died before I met you.”

“Yes but if I’d not met you, you’d never have known it.”

His damn logic. Marlea smiled through her tears. “Not helping.”

  “Your tears are illogical female.”

“Maybe,” she rested her head on his chest. “But they’re mine to own.”

His data supplied several answers to her reasoning. But only one made sense. “You mourn for what you might have lost. You haven’t lost it, I’m right here.”

She lifted and crawled up his body so they were face to face. “Remind me.”

  ***

He left her sleeping having reminded her as she asked of their time together several times over. His data told him it was more than fucking. Being bonded did that. He needed updates on the virus and had a report to make. No matter what, he wasn’t leaving the female but time was short. He activated the lift for the Bridge. There was on doubt in his data that he wanted her. And while she wanted him, he was staying put. He’d have to give his men the option of staying or leaving but he wasn’t going anywhere without her.
