cancel...” As Feng Yu said this, a few snakes of thunderblaze electrical sparks streaked around the half-animated corpse of the fiend Feng Yu occupied.

Buzz! With the sound similar to that of an electrical device being turned off, the spark vanished as a dull look came over the eyes of the corpse which fell the ground in a true state of death.

Thud! As it fell to its face, the prisoners and Dwarfin remained motionless as if such a scene was common. A few of them even thought to themselves, “So, it seems he was only part lucky avoiding the central oppression but with remnants were still enough to end his pitiful life...”

A few even wore a look of mockery; however, this didn’t last long as upon falling the ground the body of corpse once more shook.

Crack-crack! A disgusting sound soon resounded within this still hallway, as the back of the corpse began to bulge strangely. Soon, the impression of a face became visible as it grew and grew to form the impression of a complete youth who broke out of the fleshy corpse becoming born to the world once again.

A handsome red-haired youth, who stood nakedly within this silent and empty hallway.

The always inspecting Jing Mingyun couldn’t help but grew redder as her spiritual sense saw his form, the sleeping body curled in the fetal position looking as if it was being heated up. An uncommon trait for this well-aged dragon, a pity though, that even she had no clue as to how she suddenly grew attached in such a manner.

As Feng Yu returned to his normal body, he couldn’t help but crack his joints and revealed a look of satisfaction.

The surrounding prisoners exclaimed in shock, “A human! How did you get here?!” Soon, the prisoners who were stunned revealed a look of vigilance as if the scene before them was some sort of trick.

The stout man who saw Feng Yu frowned for a moment before speaking, “Strange... even though I have degraded to this degree no one should be able to hoodwink my senses. How could a human like you possess such a technique? Or, better yet, how can you use---? Eh?”

As he was questioning Feng Yu’s acts, the man soon noticed Feng Yu’s auras, the strange thunderous energies that lingered around his form. Soon, a strange presence began to emanate from his being as if he was mortal yet not mortal at the same time.

“A bloodline that has crossed the threshold, how there still be such a bloodline in that outside world? A true Paragon Tier Bloodline... human, how did you achieve this?” The Dwarfin asked in shock.

Feng Yu hearing his words was about to reply, but soon he scratched his head as he also revealed a look of confusion, “Wait... how did I achieve this again?” For much to Feng Yu’s current shock, he realized he now had absolutely no memory of how he achieved his current state.

Jing Mingyun who also found it strange carefully inspected his body as she thought to herself, “So, strange... could it have been his doing? That’s not possible, wait... if I remember correctly, he left a connection pillar in this world... what was it called again? Tribulation? Migration? A?... oh, I remember now, the Ascension Pillar...”

A stifling silence filled the room as one naked youth, and a prisoner stared at each other with a baffling expression, causing an odd atmosphere to fill the area. Soon, the Dwarfin cleared his current chain of thoughts and asked once more, “Since you don’t even know that, then forget it. I only want to ask you a single question human, what have you come here to make?”

An in-depth look in his eyes as he observed Feng Yu, with a gaze that seemed to as if it was capable of peeking through all lies. Feng Yu hearing his words shook his head clearing away his previous thoughts, as he calmed himself down and responded, “I would like to offer you a proposal...”

“What kind of proposal?!” The Dwarfin asked with a thoughtful expression.

“It's simple. I want you and these prisoners to join me... join me in my quest to turn this prison upside down...” Feng Yu said with a fiery light in his eyes.

“What?! You want to help us break free from this cell at your meager level of strength where did you get such courage?” One of the prisoners asked with surprise but soon a look of mock on his face.

The others also made similar jeers, but the Dwarfin who knows more about how these cells worked looked at Feng Yu silently as he waited for him to explain, not disappointing him Feng Yu calmly responded, “Who said I would be the one freeing you?”

As he said this, a bright white lit up within the room as the semi-transparent form of a peerlessly beautiful woman appeared. She carried a divine aura as the long white hair that fell to her feet danced around her form, along with a white dress robe that perfectly emphasized her curvaceous shape

An oval face, with slender eyes that glowed with a silver light, along with a beauty mark at the corner of cherry red lips. That parted as she spoke in a soft but resonant voice, “I will free you...”

The prisoners hearing her became stunned but as the Dwarfin saw this woman he scrunched his brows for a moment as if trying to recall something, “So familiar, this girl... no, it can’t be for that small child has most likely already gone with them. However, this aura... or rather, this force energy. Is it that of a dragonkin? Not right either, it's richer...”

As he felt her traces of noble energy that lingered on her soul a figure soon appeared before the eyes of the Dwarfin. A mighty green haired man with white temples appeared who looked down on their world with anger.

“How could this be? You’re a Trueblood Dragonborn!” His loud shout echoing throughout the hallways further adding to the shock of the prisoners as they looked towards the girl utter terror from the depths of their souls...

Feng Yu remained silent, as he saw quietness once again reigned supreme...

Bright Hammer Zyne? An Unexpected Assault!

The tension within the halls of Death's Floor was at its peak, as all prisoners looked towards the divine-like goddess with unconstrained fear. Jing Mingyun looked at the scene before her eyes with a look filled with pure indifference, not wasting any more of her remaining time she pointed her finger towards the small pulsating orb at hovered above the central prison cell.

Piiiii! A beam of white energy shot from the finger towards the orb, as a powerful soulforce fluctuated within the area.

Instantly, the white ray connected with the orb causing the orb to glow strangely. As if it sensed something, the orb began to spin at a fast rate causing all of the energies that were within the hall to flow upwards.

Soon, the barriers that surrounded the prisoner cells began to fade at a rapid rate eventually vanishing as all of their energies was taken away by the spinning orb. After a short moment of time, the orb stopped spinning as the beam of white light from Jing Mingyun’s finger stopped.

Her transparent figure fading away into the wristband on Feng Yu right arm, the prisoners seeing the barriers vanish from before them became stunned but soon, their expressions changed to one filled with excitement.

One of the prisoners who was suppressed for so long became so excited that she lifted head and roared, “I’mm, Freee---!!”

Rumble! A strong vibration filling the area as the stones that were wrapped around her arms broke to pieces as even, they seemed to have lost their previous divine light.

“Hahaha! Now that I’m out, who dares block me?!”

“It’s been so long... hum... hum...”

A few other prisoners also broke into happy cheers as they noticed also broke away from their constraints, with even a few other crying tears of joy. The Dwarfin seeing this also didn’t waste any time, he looked towards the now dimly glowing chains on his arms and gripped its palms into a fist.

“Break!!” The Dwarfin roared as his muscles bulged causing the chains that wrapped around to making ‘clink-clink’ noises as they stressed against each other due the rising might of the Dwarfin.

After a short moment, the result that the Dwarfin had waited for many years had finally come to fruition.

  Snap! A loud breaking sou
nd resounded as the pieces of the once divine-like chains fell to the ground, freeing the mighty Dwarfin that now stood up on his stumpy legs; his body giving off a feeling of infinite might and power as he stepped forward causing the cell floor beneath his feet to create spiderweb-like cracks.

“Freedom at last....” The Dwarfin said in a soft voice as he closed his eyes and lifted his head. Quickly, he opened his eyes once more with a more firm but grateful look as he glanced towards the wristband on Feng Yu’s hand for a short while before focusing his vision on Feng Yu directly.

“Human, or rather, Rising Paragon... I don’t care what your objectives are nor what you wish to do with this Trial set up by the Dragon Clan but as long as I live and breathe, I will aid you as well as that miss to pay off my debts of gratitude...” The Dwarfin said as he looked at Feng Yu with a firm look.

The surrounding prisoners belonging to various native races also responded similarly, as they stepped out one by one to declare their oaths.

“We of the Mermen tribe swear to aid you in your conquests...”

“The force of the Specters is with you...”

“The Ancient Hawk Tribe is ready for action...”

Feng Yu hearing their words smiled as these were the words he wanted to listen to the most, he saluted and replied, “I Feng Yu, greatly accepts each of your races kind offer! Hmm, what shall I call you all by?”

The prisoners shook their heads from side to side as if their names no longer held any meaning as they had long since faded from history, they gazed towards the Dwarfin with a deep gaze.

The Dwarfin hearing this shook his head a slightly lost look came in its eyes, he responded, “My tales have already passed, as I’m now a washed-up remnant of my former self. Therefore, you may simply call me...” Speaking up to here, he paused for a moment as a mighty form came before his eyes wield a glowing hammer that shouldered sky itself.

“Zyne... Zyne of the Bright Hammer!” He said as his voice echoed within the room.

Feng Yu nodded his head as he heard the name, but the surrounding prisoners who seemed to have also been powerful beings in the past made expression filled with regret.

Jing Mingyun, on the other hand, pondered a different name as she also revealed an expression of pity, “Zyneas Yarkvin, the one who wielded the hammer that could shoulder the sky. Former, Bright Hammer Cel-----”

However, before she was about to finish her line of thought, there was a sudden change...

RUMBLE! The entire prison began to shake violently, as the Dark Palace had started to undergo drastic changes...

“What’s going on?!” Feng Yu yelled in surprise, as he looked at the ceiling above his head, the walls cracked causing a few broken segments to fall to the ground.

The freed natives also looked up with a hint of puzzlement, but soon their gazes became filled with excitement as if they could see through the ceiling at the scene which was occurring above.

Zyne also smiled as he responded, “It seems our ticket to leave this place came early, hahaha! Who would have thought that the desperate Reinz would make such a mistake at such a time? Kidnapping the fairy princess on the eve of the Trials and leaving behind only one expert to assume command, where did he get that confidence?”

Feng Yu who heard his ramblings made a confused expression, but soon, he recalled the scene below of Kefala’s previous exit the strange room that no one should enter. A clear feeling came over, but he still had a hint of puzzlement as he recalled Pylan’s words, he asked, “Fairy Princess, does this mean that the one sealed in the room below is the Fairy Princess? Isn’t it a group of powerful prisoners?”

“Prisoners? Haha, that Pylan is playing you for a fool, that is the room used to seal all of our previous weapons as well as to confine and torture important prisoners and gather information...” Zyne replied with a hint of ridicule on his face as he glanced towards the floor as if he could see the now panicking Pylan.

Feng Yu hearing this remained silent, “So that’s how it is... then if that’s the case then that means”

“Yes, we have a few interesting guests that have come to the pay the Dark Palace a visit. Or better yet, I should say its former owners, have come to pay a memorable visit...” Zyne replied with a mocking look in eyes.

Feng Yu hearing this became excited as a bright light shone in his eyes, he looked towards the ceiling with an expression that also seemed to have become able to see the scene occurring above. Soon, a cunning smile formed at the corner of his lips as he formed a new plan...

Turning back time, to a few minutes ago...

Within the central room, the elders of palace command where gathered around the water sphere with a grim look on their faces. The Water Sphere displayed the scene of the barrier which was behaving unusually, one of the elders who saw this scene asked, “When did this start to happen? Who can tell me what’s going on?!”

The other elders frowned in response, soon, one of the lesser elders wiped the sweat off his face as he spoke, “According to sources the barrier had been acting strange since yesterday. A few of the guards also noticed this but thought it was not an important issue...”

“Not important! You stupid fool do you know what this me---” As the elder was about to curse once more, his words was promptly cut off by another elder spoke.

“Forget it! We don’t have time to waste bickering. Kefalas has already headed off to find Titana, and we now have a terrible foe to face off against. If the barrier breaks things will get---” A smart looking elder spoke with a calm state of mind as he tried to get everyone into the mode for battle preparations. However, fate was not kind...

Rumble! A loud rumbling sound echoed throughout the area, as the once calm Dark Palace began to shake violently. The transparent blue barrier flickering on and off like a light bulb as it started to make strange noises.

Buzzzzzz... zzzzup! Soon, the sound ended abruptly, following which the barrier also faded revealing the vulnerable castle to threatening weather.

“Shit! Not good the barrier is broken, all fiends to battle stations!” An elder exclaimed and commanded as he promptly reacted by touching a section of the blue sphere which sent his echoing command out to all palace fiends.

The patrolling guards that were confused about the loud rumbling hearing the commands became stunned as they frantically prepared themselves for combat. A few of the clueless guards asked, “What's going on? Why did the barrier disappear? Who could attack our headquarters at a time like this?”

A more knowledgeable guard was about to respond, but before it could say anything, the scene changed once again.

Bang! Pressuring amount of energies rippled across the sky as thousands upon thousands of cicada-like wing beings swarmed towards the palace from the sky. Their cute little eyes gleaming in a sharp blue light as a murderous intention scattered across the palace.

The leader creature’s eyes shone brightly as it yelled in a cute but resolute voice, “Kill them all! Save the princess!”

“Kill-kill-kill!” The adorable critters yelling loudly as they beamed towards the palace from the sky looking like blue raindrops made from energies.

“Don’t let your guard down! They’re Water Fairies!” One of the guard leaders shouts in a solemn tone as he saw his enemies form as they descended.

“Damn! Attacking now of all times, are they not afraid of the Zone Commanders counter attack?” one of them complained.

“Enough talking get to w---” One of the leaders was about to explain, but without even realizing it his head flew from his entire being. As his now headless corpse fell to the ground.

“Eee!” The newbie fiend guard panicked in surprise, as he stumbled to the floor.

Soon, the figure of the leading blue fairy materialized out of a drop of water as she looked towards the Fiend with a ruthless vision as she declared, “With the Zone Commander and that troublesome Kefalas gone, I’d to see how you damn fiends block our assault!” />
As he said this, she swung her tiny palms towards the head of the fiend causing the waters to rise and cut his head to multiple pieces of bloody flesh, creating a gruesome scene. She then scanned the area and rushed towards the section which contained all prisoners while shouting, “Charge with me!”

Following her words, a group from the attacking fairies swarmed along with her towards the underground prison path.

The elders in the control room who were previously stunned finally reacted,

“Damn! They know this castle better than we do, we cannot let them rescue their princess, our heads are on the line! Not to mention the Palace Head, the Zone Commander will certainly end our lives himself!”

  “Move out!”

Swish! Swish! Swish! As if they could teleport their figures vanished from the room appearing directly before the prison entrance way where they formed a formation that blocked all entry within.

Looking at the charging Fairies, the elders responded, “Not today!”

Bang! Their towering energies erupted, pushing away all charging fairies that made their way over to this side of the now castle battlefield.

  Swish! Swish!

The fairy leader frowned as she recovered her stance in the air, as a few of the powerful fairies stumbled a few times before recovering. Their gazes locked with opposing elders that blocked the path, as a bloody battle was under progression around them, creating a truly dreadful scene.

The harsh rain falling around their figures drenching their bloody armors and clothes, as the winds of war blew across this brutal atmosphere...

The Chaotic Prisoners Hall! Allied Prisoners Army!

The world shook, as the ceilings for each level of the Dark Palace's Prisoners Hall rumbled unceasingly. Groups of rocks and debris would fall from cracks that formed on walls, creating a disastrous scene.

The guards and the prisoners who patrolled the area were sent into a flurry as an alarm sounded in prison followed by the voice of the leading guard Pylan.
