Amit came out within half an hour and was constantly put at the ends of their jokes. “What would the Maharaja of this great rest house would like to have in his breakfast now that his Excellency has finally woken from his slumber?” said Narendra bowing his head in an exaggerated fashion. Every body laughed at this comic gesture of his. Amit was feeling ashamed as he was sleeping and rest of them had to worry about him. “Breakfast is ready” the keeper of the rest house announced “Lets eat some thing then we can start” said the doctor Every body entered the dining hall and had little breakfast as every body was eager to know what they would find at the ruins. They were not able to imagine how a gateway to another dimension would look like. They were all excited but nervous a s they have felt the power of the enemy who stood in their path as an immovable force. They stared as soon as they came out of the rest house. They had to take the vehicle for up to ten kilometers and after that they would have to travel by foot for nearly 5 km on foot through the forest. The 5 km trek would not be easy and they did not have any guide with them and they were not sure how accurate the map was which they had with them. As they were about to start two more agents arrived. They informed that none of the friends who attended the party where the guide found the cell of Amit were able to recall the location of the place. Two of them told that they partied at two known tourist locations while three others gave three different locations. They were confident of themselves and id not looked as if they were telling lies or hiding something. On hearing this team from Delhi concluded that the enemy had reached those people first and had implanted a wrong location in everybody’s brain. Dr. Singh (senior) to say that it was near impossible for some to achieve this so fast but he thought to keep his suggestion to himself after thinking about the events unfolding since previous evening. Now it seems that any thing was possible and that they were living in a fairy land where normal laws do not apply. Everybody was perplexed when they saw Amit ran towards his room. After some deliberations they were about to send someone after him but it was not needed as they saw him coming out again with the cell phone the guide had found in his hand. He came to them with a smile but was surprised to see their faces. “What?” asked Amit “Don’t ever do that again” said the doctor “Do what?” “Bolting without giving prior warning… ” and then he smiled which made Amit relaxed. “I just had a thought about having this phone with me to the place where we are going. It might come in handy. I did not had chance to look in but it may have some pictures of the place in it.” Said Amit enthusiastically “Don’t break any sweat on that as even if you were allowed to take pictures they must have deleted them before you were able to run from them.” Said Narendra “Yeah but by taking a chance I would not be loosing anything” said Amit “Go ahead but do not feel disappointed if you don’t find any thing useful” said Narendra As they stared to drive off, suddenly one agent arrived. They were able to stop the vehicle just in time so as to avoid the in coming man being hit by it. He informed them that the guide was found asleep in his home. He caught him when the guide came out of his house in the morning. He said he did not remember anything about being at the rest house and he insisted that he returned home directly from his work. He had no idea that he met Dr. Singh (junior) the previous evening. And he told that he did not remember anything about going to the party. “Great! Now what?” asked Narendra getting frustrated “We are not changing our plans even if that fool is not able to remember anything. And we even have the map of that location. We can reach it without him helping us. We will decide what to do when we reach there.” Said the doctor “I think he is right. Even the legends say that the doorway is through some ruins.” Said mama ji They started to move. Everybody sitting there was praying that no other interruption come. There ride was uneventful and they reached the spot from where they had to walk on foot fairly safely.
