Author’s Note
Sometimes art imitates life.
I wrote The Hitwoman Plays Games during the pandemic. I’ve known people who were terribly ill from it and I knew someone who died. If it seems like the Concords leaving was a bit too convenient, you’re right. The choice was inspired by some of the wishful thinking that’s been going on.
The Concords will be back to complicate Maggie’s life. (And in case you’re wondering, yes, Angel will return too.)
But I also wanted Maggie, as I want for all of us, to get a bit of a break – to find some moments of happiness, connect with those we love, and realize that even when things don’t work out the way we’ve planned, they do work out.
Hugs and happiness,
JB

About JB Lynn
A Jersey Girl transplanted to the Sunshine State, JB (you can call her Jen) writes laugh-out-loud suspense and mysteries with a dash of romance, but she’s been known to dabble in the occasional goosebump-raising thriller.
