Follow them.
Escape while you can.
You opened this world to the darkness. You aren’t afraid of a door, no matter how ominous the symbols on it may be.
The door opens with resistance, its hinges rusted shut from years of disuse. The air beyond is stale, dead. No living breath has breached this chamber for decades, maybe centuries even.
It is pitch black so you feel your way ahead with shuffling steps and outstretched arms. You feel something like a lever on the wall to your right and pull it. There is a metal clunk and the room fills with moonlight, a gorgeous stained glass skylight having been revealed in the ceiling. Directly below the window on the floor is a trapdoor with a metal ring. Crumbling stone statues lurk in the shadows of the room, but there are no other features to note. The only way forward is down.
You kneel down and heave on the ring with all your strength. The door swings open with a burp of musty air and you fall backwards in surprise.
On hands and knees you crawl back to the hole and look down into the dark. You can only see a ladder descending downwards. You grab hold of the ladder and drop down.
You can barely see much beyond a small circle of light coming in from the skylight above you. Down here the darkness is absolute.
“Kitten,” a hissing voice echoes from somewhere in the dark. You pause with a hand on the ladder.
You hear it again. “Kitten.”
This time, it doesn’t stop. The name echoes through the cellar, first one voice then another. The harsh whispers spiral around you and claw at your eardrums.
“Silence!” a deep voice cuts through the whirlwind.
You can see nothing, no one. You call out into the darkness, “Who’s there?”
There is a measure of silence. Then, “That’s what he calls you, isn’t it. Kitten?”
You can hear nails clicking together in steady sets of four, but can still see nothing beyond your little circle of dusty light. You don’t recognize the voice, but he seems to know you and Vale.
“Kitten,” the voice crooned, “We have been trapped inside the castle, listening to all that goes on between its walls. Tonight we will be free because of you. It is high time we feast.”
He steps out of the shadows, a six-foot beast of muscle with grey skin and leathery wings thrusting out of his back. In front, below his navel, is a large erect cock and a heavy set of balls. His smile reveals elongated canines glistening red with blood.
You try to retreat, but your back is already pressed against the ladder. His face is inches from yours, nostrils flaring as he sniffs in your scent. You tremble, but only half from fear. Your face feels flushed. You think he won’t feast on your blood but something else.
He laughs as he traces a clawed hand down the front of your dress. It rips cleanly, exposing your breasts and delicate stomach. Your torn dress slides down off your shoulders and onto the ground. He extends an extremely long, muscular black tongue from his mouth and dips it down around the curve of your breast, circling your nipple, taking time to tease you until your nipples are hard as little diamonds. You whimper.
He grabs you under the arms and places you high up on the ladder. You hold on tight, trembling, unable to muster the willpower to move of your own accord. His tongue slides up the middle of your legs. The tip nudges aside your panties so it can thrust into you.
You can hear the rustling of leathery wings around you in the darkness. There are more of them down here. They whisper Vale’s name for you as their leader claims you.
By the time he has had a full taste, you are putty in his hands. He turns you around and grasps your ass. You can feel his pointed claws bite into your flesh leaving pinpricks of blood on your skin. He laps up your blood leaving your cheeks wet with saliva. His tongue flicks between your cheeks. You reach back with one hand and spread yourself for him, your other and still clinging tightly to the ladder. He slips his tongue inside your ass, teasingly licking your entrance. You push back, wanting him to go deeper. He obliges.
You wonder how long they have been trapped down here in the dark, starved of blood and other needs.
A high screech echoes from above. The vampire withdraws his tongue and the basement comes alive with movement. He goes back into the darkness and you hear whispered voices in a tongue you don’t recognize. You feel suddenly exposed, naked on the ladder and hopelessly aroused.
An immense figure flies out from the darkness, knocking you down. Your head hits one of the rungs as more and more of the winged monsters ascend out of the basement. It is as if they are being called somewhere. You feel woozy and let yourself slide down onto the floor.
Dawn.
You decide to leave the creepy door alone and go back the way you came. But the way back seems a lot longer than you remember, and though the passageway goes in only one direction you feel like you’ve been going in circles.
Eventually you can make out the end of the hallway. But it isn’t the fork with the spiral staircase, it is the door. That infernal door you tried to leave behind. You turn around and go back the other way, this time keeping one hand on the wall to make sure you don’t turn yourself around. But again you come to the same door. It seems this is the only way forward.

Dawn.
You turn and run, the desire for self-preservation outweighing anything else. You make it out of the party and down through the castle back towards the feast. When you reach the main entrance you see the splintered remains of the huge doors hanging off their hinges. The whole place is in chaos. The creatures must have breached the castle.
You can see movement in the courtyard, but in the dark it is hard to determine what is happening. You hear screams, yells, and a loud grating sound like iron rending apart. Panic grips you and raw animal instinct awakens in your gut. You run outside into the fray.
A full-blown battle is being fought in the courtyard. The king’s guard does their best to keep back the horde even as guests fall to the creatures’ clutches before them.
You skirt the side of the castle to avoid the worst of the fighting. There is no one around the back, but you can hear echoes of the battle. You stay low and out of sight, hoping you can find a break in the wall to escape into the wilderness away from the town. As you round a corner you see dark shapes coming your way. There is an animal sound coming from them, like growling mixed with heavy breathing.
You tuck back around the corner and press yourself against the wall.
“Over here!”
You look across the courtyard to see a knight waving at you from an open sewer grate. The grate is one of the big ones that leads out of the castle grounds to the river that flows through the city. The knight isn’t in his full armor and his chainmail is askew, but his dark hair looks perfectly tousled. You are not used to seeing one of king’s sworn protectors, as they are only an elite few who usually spend their days training within the castle grounds. They are what every guardsman wishes they could be, and what every maiden dreams of at night.
“Hurry!”
You sprint across the courtyard. The knight pulls you in and shuts the grate. You find yourself in a small alcove in the wall of the castle courtyard. A narrow tunnel leads off it, most likely to the outside.
You crouch with the knight in the shadows as the shapes rush past. You get a whiff of fur and sulfur.
“They must have been drawn by the feast,” the knight whispers.
“There’s hundreds of them,” another voice adds.
You start. You thought the knight was the only one hiding in here but there are others. It’s hard to make them out in the dark. They must have fled from the castle together. But why isn’t the knight out there fighting?
A piercing shriek fills the air. A woman’s distressed cries echo through the castle courtyard then go silent.
You feel a hand pawing at the hem of your dress, finding its way underneath. A rough hand circles your calf.
The knight mutters into your ear, “I’ll be gentle, I promise.”
Rare as they are, knights are the subject of many a maiden’s lust throughout the kingdom. Their image is that of perfect masculine beings, masters of combat but also noble and chaste. But right now the man whose hand is up your skirt is being anything but chaste.
Let him touch you.
Stop him.
Sensing no resistance, the knight’s hand moves up your leg, his breath loud in your ear. He toys with the line of your panties, his finger sliding along the edge where the fabric meets your skin. You can feel yourself growing hot inside your dress.
He mutters in your ear, “I saw you in the castle. You were with that elf.”
His finger brushes your pussy, barely grazing the sensitive skin.
“I could have raised the alarm then, but something about you caught my eye.”
He teases your opening as streaks of torchlight pass the tunnel grate.
“You’re lucky,” he says. “You know how many women would kill for a chance like this? The castle maids throw themselves at us. It’s sad, really. And none of them are ever my type.”
He penetrates you with his finger up to the first knuckle, not enough to satisfy the growing ache inside of you. You involuntarily move against his hand to take him deeper.
“How disappointing,” the knight says. “Desperate, just like the others.” He stops teasing you.
“Please,” you whimper.
“Say it again.”
“Please,” you repeat, your voice sounding weak to your own ears.
He chuckles to himself. “How can I resist?”
You endure the knight’s taunting as he slips another finger inside you, his palm rocking against your clit. You hold back a moan.
“Quiet now,” he says. “Can’t let the others find out.”
His other hand slides up your body towards your breast. An ungodly wail pierces the night followed by a sound like a flock of crows all taking flight at once, then the crunch of something heavy hitting the cobblestones from a height. You start to shiver, both from fear and the arousal growing within you.
“Don’t worry,” the knight says. “I’ll be just fine. In fact, I think I’ll be right at home in this new world.”
He slowly pushes in another finger, testing your capacity. You let out a small moan as your body resists being stretched.
“I’ve always had a taste for darker pleasures.” He massages you until you are dripping and then slips in a fourth finger. Your pussy instinctively tightens around his hand.
“Is this too much for you?” he taunts. A whimper escapes your lips. “Or are you just like me?” He pulls at your nipple and begins to twist.
You don’t think you can take much longer. Your body shakes. The knight bites your neck as you lose control.
“You are exquisite,” he murmurs into your ear, his hand still inside you. He pinches your nipple until the tingles grow into pain. The submissive part of you purrs in contentment.
The weak light of dawn casts everything in shades of grey. You sit up feeling achy, the cold ground not nearly as comfortable now as it was when you fell asleep exhausted the night before. The wall alcove is deserted, no sign of the knight or the others who had huddled here for safety. Did they leave you behind? Were they taken by something unholy?
You follow the tunnel and find that it leads further into the castle’s waterways. Every once in a while you pass a grate that opens to the outside. Peering through the bars you can see the forest, but there seems to be no
thing amiss. You can see no people or animals but the sky is no longer an oppressive black. There is no sign of the apocalypse you witnessed the night before.
You reach the end of the tunnel system leading out to the forest. An open iron gate stands before you. Just as you are deciding whether to step out into the open, a creature comes bounding out of the trees straight for you. It looks almost like a naked man on all-fours, but with the head of a dog and half-human, half-canine limbs. Its long tongue lolls out of its mouth, its eyes two red darts.
You turn and run for your life back the way you came. You don’t dare look back but you can hear the creature’s panting and know it is close. You round a corner and spot a low tunnel in one of the walls. Without thinking you dive for it and pull yourself in. You disappear just as the creature turns the corner.
You squeeze your hands over your mouth to quiet your breathing, but it doesn’t matter because the creature has already sprinted past your hiding place. You wait an extra minute before descending further down the tunnel.
Epilogue.
“No,” you tell him firmly.
The knight’s grip tightens on your leg. “Do you want me to toss you out there with the monsters?”
You can hear the shrieks of the castle guests, and the trample of hooves and claws and who knows what else on the cobblestones. It’s too dark to see what is happening. But you know you don’t want to be out there.
The knight pulls your dress up over your waist, forcing your legs apart with his strong arms. He runs his finger up and down your slit through your panties, pressing at your opening. “I wasn’t going to hurt you but just I hate being told no.”
He drags you away from the tunnel entrance and forces you to the ground. You feel mud seep up through the back of your dress and mat your hair. You can make out the shapes of the other people nearby. Will none of them they help you? Can’t they see what is happening?
