Bad Boy Bear Page 5

She would get it, Sasha was certain, but she’d have to wait. With no choice, Sasha lay back and let Devon decide the pace, those agonizingly slow strokes driving her wild with anticipation and sensual promise.

She’d waited this long, she knew; a few more delicious moments would only make the waiting sweeter.

Devon picked up his pace, sinking deeper into her and pulling back. It was a slightly faster cycle that ramped up Sasha’s own movements, clenching and tightening around that massive member, hips shifting and pumping to match his own incredible grind.

“So good,” Devon whispered, “so tight, so good.” His voice reverberated in her brain and body, filling her with a sensual glee she’d never known or even imagined. In and out and in again, Devon held much of his length in reserve, drilling her with only half of what he could deliver. But his size and girth were already enough to satisfy, and Sasha could sense her body reacting in the best possible way. Her juices gathered deep inside her, a bubble beginning to rise in the hidden crevices, unseen places.

Devon began a circular rotation, pressing himself against her hot tissues, touching off clusters of nerves Sasha didn’t recognize. It was as if Devon knew Sasha’s body better than she did, as if he could read her mind. And he was in total control of both.

“No rush, baby,” he rasped, “no rush. You’ve been waiting for this, I know you have. You’ve been alone too long, baby, waiting for a miracle.”

“Yes,” Sasha said, barely a whisper.

“You’ve been dreaming of a man, craving these feelings.”

  “Yes.”

“You’d given up hope, let go of the dream.”

  “Yes.”

Devon started to pump just a bit faster, going in just a little deeper. Sasha’s legs spread further, her hips pushing up to meet him with greater aggression.

“No more waiting, baby,” Devon said, that amazing meat pressing into her with grace and strength, the quicker pace inspiring Sasha’s orgasm to rise within her, slow and steady and certain to be a terrific release. “No more waiting.”

“No,” Sasha said, her voice a passionate whine, “no more.”

“Because I’m here now, Sasha. I’m the man you’ve been waiting for. No other man will ever have you now.”

“No other man,” she repeated, a heated whisper.

  “Never.”

  “No… never.”

Devon ground faster still, plunging deeper into her and pulling out, in and out and around and around, Sasha’s jaw clenching with the new pressure inside her. A tint of pain accentuated the incredible pleasure, Devon pushing her left leg up to give him even greater access and control. His pumping penis found places in Sasha that no other could find, and his fierce pounding threatened to break her pelvis.

Devon’s right arm supported him, a reedy stalk of meat and bone at Sasha’s side. His gorgeous face looked down at her, their eyes locked as he sank even deeper, Sasha unable to keep from crying out. But she silenced herself, biting into her lower lip to squelch her cries.

Sasha's orgasm rose within her, that hot bubble growing and stretching, its power gathering for an incredible bursting.

“You’re gonna come,” Devon said, “I can feel it, I can taste it! You’re gonna come so hard, so fucking hard for me.” Sasha nodded, but Devon growled, “Say it.”

  “I… I’m gonna come, baby…”

But after a few more pumps, Devon said, “Say it all!”

Sasha’s heart was pounding, barely able to speak. “I’m… I’m gonna come for you… so hard… so… fucking… hard!”

“That’s right, Sasha, but not yet… not yet.”

Devon kept pounding into her, raking that big wand over her pink clench, pushing up to ignite her G spot. Sasha bucked and spasmed, a lump rising in her throat to match the one rising in her loins.

“Don’t you come yet, Sasha… you come when I tell you and not before. You understand?”

Sasha nodded, not needing to hear his command. “I… I understand.”

“Good, baby, good.” He pumped hard and fast and deep, pressing Sasha into that floor and almost through it, the planks creaking and bending beneath her. “Oh yeah,” he added after another blissful minute, “you can’t help it, you’re gonna explode, Sasha!” Her moan started low and deep in her throat, but it got louder fast, pushing out of her mouth as he pushed into the other end.

“Please,” she said, her lips twisting and pulling tight over her teeth. “Please now, please…”

  “Not yet, baby, not yet.”

Sasha’s moan threatened to become a scream, one she knew she didn’t dare release. “P-p-llleeeeeaaaasssssssssse!”

Devon shook his head, his wordless response. His hips pushed and pulled, jutting to the side and gyrating in a clockwise pattern to drive her to the brink of implosion. Devon stopped and circled in the other direction, then battered her with a chaotic frenzy of pumps in seemingly every direction. Her tissues were seething, nerves burning with electricity. Her muscles pulled tight, teeth clenched, eyes snapping shut with her effort to suppress her own orgasm. It swelled inside her, irresistible even as she resisted, threatening to blast her head off with its powerful expression.

  “Pleaaaassssssse!”

“All right, Sasha, now! You've waited long enough, angel! Come for me now, baby!” Sasha pressed her lips together, screaming into her closed mouth as her orgasm finally burst, filling her deepest crevices with heat and wet passion. “There it is,” he went on, “there you are, baby, right there!”

He kept pounding and she kept coming, that bubble replaced by another to rise and stretch and grow and burst again, and again and again and again. Her hearing was a dull hum, sound blotted out by the power of her erupting body, head shaking from side to side as her muscles jerked and twitched. Muscles tightened along the backs of her legs, feet rolling on her calves, toes clenching. Her body was rigid, tendons threatening to pop, sweat making her soft skin slick.

“Oh God,” she barely said, “I… I can’t… can’t take it.”

“Yes, you can,” he said, his voice a sexy growl. “You can and you will.”

“Please,” Sasha answered in a strained whisper, “pleeeeeeaaasssssse!”

“You want me to come? S’that it, you want me to come for you?” Sasha nodded, opening her eyes and seeing the room spinning around her. “Say it!”

“Please, baby,” she managed to say, “please… come for me.”

  “Now?”

She shook her head, blonde hair damp with sweat, “Now, baby, now! Please nnnnnnoowwwwww!”

“All right, baby,” he said from above her, hips pounding faster and harder. “All right, sweet Sasha.”

Even amidst all that pumping and grinding, her own multiple orgasm unfolding, Sasha could feel him preparing and launching his pearlescent package. She could feel his thick pole pulsing, she could sense the wad racing down his vein. Sasha clamped down to milk every sweet drop as his cock twitched and spat his hot juice into her. Their fluids ran together, almost enough to drown Sasha from within. Devon threw a few more powerful thrusts into her, his come filling her entirely, flooding the deepest crevices of her body and her soul.

Her body locked, motionless, paralyzed by pleasure. Her heart was pounding, her lungs straining for air. Then she shook, a great vibration filling her, a hum in her ears, before finally receding. Sasha’s heart slowed, lungs finally able to function again. Her mouth went dry, her vision blurred but returning to normal.

She looked up at Devon above her, his attention fixed on her, her pleasure inspiring his own. Devon softened inside her and his withdrawal left an ache in her loins. She already longed to have him inside her again, her exhausted body stronger at that moment than it had ever been.

Devon rolled onto his back and Sasha turned to rest on his thick, hard chest, dewy with his own sweat. She lay her head on his chest and could hear his heartbeat, strong and steady. She could hear his brea
th as his pecs rose and fell beneath her. She wanted to speak but could think of nothing to say, her mind a blank, erased by the experience. It was as if she had no thoughts, no identity, as if she’d been born again and knew nothing more than an infant, enthralled by her loving guardian, bedazzled by a new and exciting world, filled with possibility.

  CHAPTER TWELVE

Sasha lay with Devon in silence, but she knew their moment together wasn’t to last. She could already feel the heartbreak coming on, envisioning herself alone again among the Skull Crushers, unable to think of anything or anyone but him.

She’d never felt the way she couldn't help but feel then, that something new about life had been revealed to her. Devon was right, Sasha realized. I couldn't believe his words, sweet as they were. But now, there's no disbelieving—not for me, not anymore. He proved me wrong, and I’ve proven him right; I came to believe, over and over again.

Confusion swarmed around Sasha, infecting her conscience with doubt.

Probably should have stayed across the street, Sasha had to silently admit to herself. I was miserable, sure. But how much more miserable am I going to be knowing what I could have had, what my life might have been? This man’s like a drug, and I know I’m already addicted. The withdrawal is going to be terrible, probably enough to send me right over the edge.

Over the edge, a phrase she’d come to know all too well. She’d been on the cusp many times, sitting in privacy with a knife to her pudgy wrists, trying to conjure up the strength to make that fatal swipe. But she’d always backed down, the spark of a notion that things might get better forestalling her fateful decision. When she saw Devon on that bike, bold and unafraid, she thought maybe she’d been right to wait, right to hope, to dream, to live.

But dreams were meant to be shattered, that was the life and lesson that seemed to be set aside for Sasha Nichols. And with the death of this dream, she had to search her imagination for some reason not to finally do what she’d backed down from so many times.

A man like this will never come around again! A man? So much more than a man! He said there were others, and there must be! But that’s not what attracts me, that’s not what I’m looking for. All I need is a loving fella, one who won’t beat me up too badly when he gets upset, or maybe won’t beat me at all. But to find one who will take me as I am, love me for all of me and not just my face and hair, and a man with such a drastic hidden side? No. No man could come close to Devon, not even one of his own kind.

And other notions worked their way into her imagination, looking ahead to the next few hours, days, weeks. Sasha already didn’t expect to be around much longer than that.

Frenchy is gonna be furious, Sasha told herself. He’s going to beat me bad for this, I know it. Maybe he’ll pretend, make nice until just the right time, and then he’ll make an example of me. He might wind up taking care of the suicide question on his own. It’s going to be terrible, and he’ll take his sweet time too.

Frenchy loves to dish out a good beating.

Mamma’ll try to stop him, but she won’t be able to. If she doesn’t watch out, she’ll wind up beat almost as bad as me. She’ll know the logic and the truth of it all. She knows how unhappy I am, how miserable I’ve always been, really. Maybe it’s best this way for everybody, she’ll see that.

  In time.

But afraid as Sasha was, she was also resolved in a way she’d never been before. Physically exhausted, she wondered if it wasn’t just the incredible sexing she’d just endured. But acceptance was easy to come by in her near daze, as if she’d already died and gone to heaven… on her way straight to hell.

Doesn’t matter, she thought. Why bother to live like this? If I have to wind up on some coyote’s dinner menu, at least I had one day worth living for, and worth dying for. If that’s the price, I’d pay it again. It’s even more beautiful, really, for how rare it is. Like a diamond or some other precious gem, today was a treasure I was lucky to come by. I’ll treasure the memory for as long as I’m allowed to live.

“What’s wrong, Sasha?” Sasha started, turning to look at Devon with a quick turn of her head before returning it slowly to his chest, staring off into a doomed distance she didn’t want to have to explain.

“Nothing,” she said, knowing she hadn’t convinced him. “Well, everything, actually. I mean, I know you’re going to leave now, and I’ll be… I’ll be sad, that’s all.”

Devon lightly stroked the back of her head, soothing and loving. “What makes you think that?”

Sasha sighed, hoping she wouldn’t have to put words to the hideous thoughts in her head and heart. “How else could things wind up? Even if you wanted to join the Crushers, I don’t think Frenchy would have you. He doesn’t like anyone challenging him, not even anyone who could.”

“Doesn’t want to lose the throne.” Sasha nodded, no need to confirm further. But Devon went on, “Maybe it’s time for him to step down voluntarily.”

  “He’d never do that, never.”

“Well,” Devon said, “I meant his volunteering might come after he’s learned a thing or two about what true power really is.”

His intentions became clear in Sasha’s imagination. She knew what Devon was capable of, how brutal and bloody their fight would be. “Please, Devon, don’t. He… he’s not that bad a guy, really.”

“He’s a murderer, a rapist, a thief, and a punk. When you’ve been around as long as I have, you learn that some men, well, some men just have to die.”

“Not him, though,” Sasha said. “My sister… she’s in love with him. If he died, I don’t know what would happen to her. For her sake, could you please just… not?”

Devon broke a little smile. “For you,” he said softly. “But I’m not leaving you here with him, that’s for sure.” Sasha’s blood ran with a renewed warmth, one she was certain would never last. And Devon seemed to read that in her face, feel it in her body, so close to his. “You don’t think he’ll let you go?”

  “I… you’re serious?”

  “Why not?”

Sasha was dumbfounded by the simplicity of the question and the offer. “I… I thought maybe…”

“That I didn’t mean the things I said? That I don’t really feel for you the way I do?”

Sasha sighed. “Men have lied to me before—every single time, in fact.”

“Not this time, Sasha, not now or ever again. If you’ll let me, I’ll take you away from this place, and see to it that you have a life worthy of you, a life anybody would envy.”

Sasha tried to hide her smile. “I think the question is, um, is my life… worthy of you?”

Devon kissed her, long and slow and tender, a subtle sweetness that was a terrific contrast to his rugged masculinity. Their lips pulled apart, Sasha trembling under his influence. “Does that answer your question?”

It did, but it also raised several others.

“He won’t let you take me,” Sasha said.

“As if he has a say.”

“He does, Devon. He has a say in everything that happens with the Skull Crushers. Our lives are his to do with as he pleases.”

Devon huffed. “Well, my life is my own, same for anybody who rides with me. And any man who stands in the way of my freedom is begging for a burial, no matter whose sister loves him. That’s just the way it is, the way it’s always been, and the way it will always be.”

“I get that, and I… I respect it. But Frenchy, he don’t respect nothin’, no woman or man, that’s for sure.”

“He’ll respect this,” Devon said. “It’s just a matter of how much convincing it takes.”

Sasha sighed again, snuggling into his meaty chest. “Can you promise you won’t… y’know, turn into that thing again?”

  “That thing?”

“Oh, I… I don’t mean to be rude or anything, I just… I’ve never seen such a… such a creature before.”

He huffed and nodded. “Few have, and lived to talk about
it. It’s all right, Sasha, I’m not offended. But that thing, as you called it, that’s me—as much a part of my body as my liver or kidneys. I was born this way, every one of my kind is; we’re not bit by a monster like in some shitty movie.”

“I understand, and I am sorry… if I said the wrong thing.”

Devon waved off the offense. “As for turning, well, I can’t really help it. Best I can do is stay out of situations that call for it. If your Frenchy gives me no choice…” He didn’t say more, and Sasha knew that he didn’t have to.

  CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Sasha got dressed and Devon did the same, with fresh clothes in his duffle bag, before putting on his colors. He and Sasha turned for the door, and she said, “Devon?” After a moment to let her go on, she added, “Are you… are you sure about this?”

He looked her dead in the eyes, his brown meeting her blue. “Of course I am. Are you?”

Sasha glanced through the window at the street and the former saloon that waited for them. “I’m sure.”

Devon took her hand and smiled, leading her through the front door and out into the street.

Sasha stepped out into the glaring sunlight, nobody on the street around them. But she knew she was being watched, and not just by Frenchy. Like most motorcycle clubs, the Crushers didn’t carry guns to avoid unnecessary problems with cops, but Sasha still felt that she and Devon were in more than one set of crosshairs. The Skull Crushers didn’t need guns to kill people, and they did keep a number of pro-grade slingshots and ball bearings that would do what any gun could. There were also as many knives, chains, crowbars, monkey wrenches, ball-peen hammers, and other implements to make quick work of any man.
