She slid her hand over his chest and down to grasp his cock. Glad she wanted to go further, he couldn’t have been any more eager to go the full course. He leaned over, kissing her between her breasts, then licked a rosy nipple and suckled. He moved higher to kiss her mouth, their breaths mingling, their tongues touching.
Their pulses raced, and he began stroking her clit as she slipped her fingers into his hair. He loved the way her fingers caressed his scalp while he stroked her clit. She was barely breathing, soaking up his touches, her body sinking into the mattress, then arching to the heated contact. He wanted them to come together, but he might have aroused her to the breaking point already.
He slid his cock into her warm, wet tightness. As soon as he began to thrust, she was bearing down on him, letting him know she was about to let go. Tightening her inner muscles, her eyes closed, her hands clamped on his arms, she appeared to be fighting release. He continued to dive in, wanting them to do this together, but she groaned and then cried out. “Ohmigod, yes!”
For a moment, she seemed enraptured, and then she began to match his thrusts, until he couldn’t hold out any longer. Release came then, and he felt exultant in her tight, wet embrace. He pumped a couple more times and then relaxed. “Hot damn, woman.”
She smiled up at him, her willful look telling him he wasn’t done.
Damn, this was one hell of a way to burn off the excess adrenaline from the fight.
* * *
Being with Brock was magical, but when he slid his cock inside her and began to thrust, Natalie felt the wild passion of the wolf claiming her. Joyous, enchanting, beautiful. Now they were wrapped around each other, their legs entangled, her hair spread across his chest, breathing raggedly, enjoying the scent of their lovemaking and of each other—the wolf and human combination.
She didn’t want to think too deeply about killing Trenton. She had been honest with her mate when she’d told him if she had it all to do over again, she would have done the same. But killing a man wasn’t who she was. She loved life and creating life or nurturing it. Still, she’d only had one choice, and she was glad she’d done what she had.
“Are you all right?” Brock asked.
Suspecting he was still concerned about her killing Trenton, she loved Brock for his sensitivity. Some men would have felt she should be a wolf, suck it up, and go on with her life. But Brock was so caring, so considerate of her feelings. “Yeah. You were made for me, you know? If anyone else had tried to claim you, they couldn’t have. Because you were made just for me.”
He chuckled. “I’m damn glad Angie asked me to help guide you to the restaurant that day. After that?” He kissed her forehead. “I had rescued the damsel in distress. You were all mine.”
She laughed. “For getting me lost that one time only, I’ll give my GPS a reprieve. Who would have ever thought it would lead me to the mate of my dreams?”
He smiled and kissed her hair, holding her closer. “Angie must have known I needed you in my life as much as you needed me.”
Natalie agreed. She would be forever grateful to her friend. “Don’t fall asleep too deeply on me,” she warned.
“Hmm.” He traced his fingers over her arm. “I will never be sleeping so deeply you can’t wake me for more loving.”
He was one hot SEAL wolf for sure. And that was all she needed to hear.
Epilogue
Brock was grateful that his cousin Tanner pulled through without any lasting effects from the concussion he received during the big fight with Dexter and his mercenaries. Dexter’s whole counterfeit scheme was history. And after three months, the Silvertons had not only sold their places but also built a new home and garden center on acreage the pack owned in Colorado, all with the help of the Greystoke pack. Stands of native aspen were already turning yellow, and native Colorado spruce and other evergreens made for a spectacular early fall backdrop for the garden center and wedding. Even the cats loved the new pack and the garden center.
Everyone was delighted the family was part of the pack, and the wedding was scheduled for Brock and Natalie for next week at the new garden center. Natalie had enjoyed giving lessons about plants to both wolf children and adults and helping to start a community garden. But she couldn’t have been more excited about going to Hawaii for the honeymoon and scuba diving with Brock.
He was busy searching on his computer for clues concerning the location of a deadbeat husband who hadn’t been paying child support while Natalie was at work at the garden center. Or so he thought.
Until she came home much earlier than expected, her smile infectious.
He left the couch to give her a welcoming hug, thinking maybe she was as horny as he was, and he’d sweep her right off her feet and carry her to bed. Yeah, he’d gotten rid of the black comforter, but they’d agreed on an aqua one. And the paper in the bathrooms had been changed—though they hadn’t called on Lettie to do it. A couple of carpenters in the pack had said they knew just what to do and put up the blue grass wallpaper in all three bathrooms—for free.
No one was after Lettie any further, and she wasn’t getting any of the Greystokes’ business. Not to mention she’d been pretty hostile over learning of Trenton’s death. Especially when she heard Natalie had shot him.
Natalie dropped her purse on the oak coffee table and pulled a couple of wallpaper swatches out of her bag. “What do you think?”
He frowned as he looked at the wallpaper samples. One featured baby foxes, wolves, deer, and owls peering around trees. The other had teddy bears, hot air balloons, and swans in the clouds. He looked up at her, and she was beaming.
“A baby?”
“Two. Maybe a boy and a girl, so your cousin says.”
Brock felt dizzy with joy and quickly gathered his mate into his arms. “You are my life!”
“I thought we’d have a little more time to get to know each other, but…”
“We have a whole wolf pack to help out for date nights.” He couldn’t have been more thrilled once he got over the initial shock.
* * *
Natalie loved Brock and wasn’t sure why she’d been so apprehensive about telling him about the babies, even though they hadn’t used any protection the whole time they’d been mated. He’d looked so pale all of a sudden that she swore he was going to faint! She loved him. He was tough as nails, rock-solid, but when it came to being a daddy? So cute.
Hugging her, he looked at the samples again. “The wolf one, of course.”
And then together they called her parents, her sister and brother-in-law, his brother and sister-in-law, and their pack leaders. Everyone was ready for a whole new celebration.
“The only bad thing is I won’t be able to scuba dive on our honeymoon,” she admitted regretfully.
He smiled. “Hell, we’ll go back to Hawaii after the kids are bigger, and we’ll bring wolf nannies with us. You better believe half the pack will want the job. We will enjoy snorkeling just as much this time around.”
“True.” She was so glad Brock wasn’t disappointed they couldn’t dive together.
“But you can go on your own with a group.”
“No way. On our honeymoon? No way.”
She laughed and dragged him back to the bedroom. “That wasn’t the only reason I came home early from work.” Then she glanced back at the living room. “Were you doing something important?”
“Catching bad guys can wait. This can’t.” He scooped her up in his arms and hauled her to the bedroom. “Twins,” he said in awe. “A boy and a girl.”
“Love you, Brock.”
He set her gently on the bed as if she’d break. “You are the love of my life.”
“You are mine, you hot SEAL wolf.”
So much for not seeking mates. One GPS malfunction, and they were set for life.
