First Spark: A Firefighter Short Story (Heroes in Uniform Book 1) Page 3

by Roxy Gray

  She had her answer.

  “But first…”

He crawled down Bree’s body, forcing her to release him from her grip. Her head went back into the sofa as he planted one kiss on each of her hips. Then one at the front of her pussy, just above her clitoris.

“Oh,” Bree moaned when Jake’s mouth formed to her centre. His tongue moved up and down, then back and forth, discovering what she liked. Gauging her reaction and taking her favourite cues a step further.

He had her bucking against his lips in minutes. Moans fell from Bree’s mouth freely. And when she thought she couldn’t handle anymore, he reached around and stuffed two fingers inside of her tight opening.

“Jake!” She exclaimed suddenly, feeling her sex clench. “I’m coming!”

It happened all at once. He sucked her clit hard, pumping his fingers inside of her. Bree closed her eyes. One of her hands went to her breast and squeezed. Her heart was beating in her pussy as she climaxed, creaming all over Jake’s fingers. After a minute, her body went lax. She sank deeper into the sofa, reaching for him.

Jake leaned forward, aligning his cock to the space between Bree’s breasts. She massaged the head of him slowly, enjoying his tender flesh against her cleavage. Her hand went around him again and she pumped vigorously, sensing he was near his release.

“Fuck!” Jake said, looking down at her beneath him. His cock exploded without warning, and semen pooled on Bree’s chest. It was hot and slippery against her skin.

She pumped him until every last drop had been expelled.

The two of them sat there afterward, panting.

  “One second.”

Jake leaned over Bree, grabbing a box of tissues. He kissed her once before helping to wipe himself off her chest. Then he hauled her across his lap and wrapped her in a hug.

  “That was…”

“Awesome?” Bree finished his sentence for him.

  “Yeah.”

She giggled when she felt him nod against her. And just when she thought the moment was perfect, her stomach growled loudly.

“Come on,” Jake laughed. He brushed a stray hair out of Bree’s face before speaking again:

  “I’ll make you some dinner.”

It took all of Bree’s self-restraint not to check her messages from Jake constantly after their first date. For the rest of the week, her thoughts were consumed by him. She replayed their afternoon together in her head numerous times, still baffled by their chemistry. She’d never come so close to fucking on a first date or even been comfortable enough to do so, much less with someone who’d stood her up the day before.

“I’ve never seen you like this,” Michelle confirmed one evening, barely able to contain her glee.

“Yeah, yeah. You were right about giving him another shot. Missing out on him would have definitely been a mistake.”

There was just something about Jake. He was nice. He was considerate and polite. He definitely wasn’t bad to look at. Their conversation had flowed easily during their dinner the other night too, just like it did in their messages. Jake had made delicious steaks with a side of potatoes and salad effortlessly. Cooking was a skill many men in her past had lacked, but Jake’s chops in the kitchen were almost as good as in the bedroom.

Bree felt like an infatuated teenager.

During the workday, he’d randomly pop into her brain. At night, she masturbated to the thought of them together.

Hell, she was crushing on Jake so hard that she even read all of the articles she could find about him online, looking for something to nitpick at. But all Bree uncovered was that Jake had saved a total of ten people from various fires over the years.

  He was an actual hero.

Bree: So, what’s wrong with you, anyway? Are you a psychopath? Sex addict? Serial killer? I’d rather know now.

She’d sent over the somewhat serious text after spending the last half hour stalking his social media with her roommate.

Jake: You really want to know? Can you handle it?

  Bree was intrigued.

  Bree: Obviously, yes.

Jake: Well, come by the station tomorrow night at eight. Maybe I’ll show you then ;)

  Bree: Sounds good.

They went on to talk about their day, but Bree’s stomach fluttered in excitement.

Maybe she’d finally get to have her fireman.

  * * *

Bree pulled up to Jake’s fire station at exactly 7:59 PM the following evening. She didn’t want to be late. She’d been waiting to visit Jake’s workplace for too long; a fantasy she’d always wanted to fulfill. Plus, she wanted to know what his supposed secret was.

She wore a jersey day dress, a denim jacket and a pair of simple sandals.

Her heart skipped when the door to the Firehall opened. A whir of sirens greeted her as a firetruck tore out of the station, pulling away onto the bumpy road.

She hoped Jake wasn’t inside of it.

  “Hey.”

Bree barely recognized him in his full uniform. Tall boots, thick trousers, a jacket and a yellow helmet. His large hands bore a thick pair of gloves.

As she approached the open doorway, he began taking off some of his equipment, hanging it inside a storage area on the adjacent wall.

“Good timing. I just got back from a call. My shift is over!”

  “Oh yeah? How was it?”

“Not too bad,” Jake shrugged. “There was no fire. It was just a false alarm.”

He hung up his helmet and stored his boots on a rack. Bree’s breath caught when his jacket came off. He wore just an undershirt beneath it that showed off his muscular body.

“You like the uniform, huh?” He wore a shit-eating grin on his face. He’d caught her staring for sure.

  “I do.”

Bree approached slowly, glancing around to make sure they were alone.

  “Keep the pants on.”

“Yes, ma’am,” Jake teased. “How was your workday?”

“Good. It was mostly meetings with some of the other faculty. Some resource planning; nothing too exciting.”

“Sounds fun. You like being a librarian, right?”

  She smiled wide.

“Oh, yeah. I love it. One day I’ll bore you with some more stories, but I won’t do that to you yet,” she teased.

She followed him through a door at the back of the place, and they entered into an open kitchen, where a group of men were cooking up something on the stove.

“Guys, this is Bree. I’m giving her a tour of the place. Bree, this is Joe, Brandon, Travis and Phillipe.”

“Hey.” They all nodded at her in unison.

  “Hi, guys.”

“This is where we hang out when we aren’t out on a call.”

“So, this is the girl you’ve been telling us about, eh Jake?” Brandon said. “Bree, he’s talked about how much he likes you. A lot.”

Bree couldn’t contain her smile, especially when she noticed Jake looking shy.

“Yeah, yeah,” he said, ignoring the laughter of the men. “Let me show you the rest.”

He led Bree to the other side of the place up a tall staircase.

“The upper floor is our private living quarters. We share a washroom but we each have our own bedroom.”

  “Bedroom?” Bree’s eyebrows raised.

“Mhmm,” Jake nodded. He opened the last door on their right and she followed him inside.

The room was small, with one window on the far wall. It was clean and well-decorated, not unlike Jake’s home. The comforter was a deep gray, the walls were white, and he’d hung up a few vintage photos of Miami on the walls.

“What do you think?” Jake asked, brushing his thumb over Bree’s bottom lip.

“It looks like it’d be yours.”

Her gaze didn’t waver from his face. His sandy hair was messed across his forehead by the helmet he’d worn just a few
minutes earlier. He hadn’t shaved today.

“Well, you’re in luck because it is.”

Bree ran her fingers up Jake’s jawline and into his hair before kissing his gorgeous lips. The kiss became heated quickly. Suddenly, she remembered.

“Hold on, mister. You’re supposed to tell me what’s wrong with you, remember?”

Jake laughed, bringing one hand to her chin.

“And who says there’s something wrong with me?”

“Me. There’s something wrong with all men. Well, all people, really. Plus, you admitted it. So, spill!”

She playfully pushed him onto the bed. Jake sat up and pulled Bree to stand between his open legs.

“Okay, fine. So, you know how you really like that I’m a fireman?”

  “Yeah…,” Bree blushed.

“You think it’s super sexy, right?”

  “Mhmm…”

  “What’s the reason for that?”

“I don’t know,” Bree giggled nervously.

  “Tell me, babe.”

“It’s the hero thing. And the uniform. It’s just sexy that you’re willing to risk your life to protect people, that’s all.”

“Right. Well, maybe you’re not the only one with a fantasy.”

Bree gulped. Is this when the whips and chains were going to emerge? She hoped not.

  “Meaning…?”

  “I think it’s really hot that you’re a librarian.”

  Silence.

  “Really?”

Bree was surprised. Jake had never hinted that he found her occupation a turn on, though he’d always seemed very interested in her job.

“Tell me more about it,” she said teasingly.

“Okay, but you can’t be mad.”

“I won’t be mad. I’m the most easygoing woman ever!”

Jake looked at her pointedly, making her remember the first night they were supposed to meet.

“Most of the time,” she added. “Anyway, you were saying?”

Jake parted her lips with his thumb, sticking it between them. “Well,” he began, “when I was a teenager, our library had a very, very sexy librarian. I couldn’t figure out why at the time, but she turned me on so much. Now I know.”

  “Why is that?”

“She seemed really shy and quiet, but a few times I heard her talking with one of her male coworkers, and she was actually such a firecracker. You’re that way too. When you practically yelled at me the other day, I was sure of it.”

  “Oh.”

  “You get it now?”

“Yeah. You like that I seem sweet and innocent when I’m actually not.”

  Jake laughed. “Exactly.”

A devilish idea popped into Bree’s head just then, and she sank to her knees.

“So, Jake. Would an innocent librarian be alone with you in your room when a group of guys is just down the stairs?”

“I think so.” His dimple appeared again.

  “Would she do this?”

Bree pulled at his firefighter pants until they were in a pile on the floor. His boots came off too.

  “Definitely.”

  “What about… this?”

Her fingers grazed beneath his waistband, and she felt him shiver. Bree tugged down Jake’s underwear in one swift motion, releasing his cock. This time, instead of wrapping her hand around it, she bent down and took it in her mouth.

  “Bree,” Jake groaned.

She looked up from between his legs, meeting his eyes. They were wide, full of surprise and arousal. Jake’s hands went to the back of her head, and he stroked her hair as she swallowed him deep past her lips.

  “That feels so good.”

It was exactly the praise Bree wanted to hear. One hand came up to aid in her mission, stroking and rubbing Jake’s root. The other hand rested on his thigh, where he held it in his own. Her firefighter was immobilized as she bobbed up and down, sucking and licking his hardness with enthusiasm. Other than the occasional male voices from downstairs, all that could be heard in the small room was the sound of Bree’s mouth as she coated Jake’s cock in saliva.

Bree felt herself grow moist. It was the power, the satisfaction of rendering such a strong man to Jell-O. When she looked up at Jake again, his lids had grown heavy, his jaw hanging slightly open.

Slowly, Bree released his hardness from her mouth and her grip. She rose to her feet and gently pushed him back onto the mattress. She removed her panties and sat in his lap.

“Are you going to be a good girl and stay quiet?” Jake asked as he pulled her close to him, up against his hard chest.

  Bree half-nodded.

  “I’ll try.”

They both knew that this act couldn’t be stopped, no matter how loud Bree was. Jake had to have her anyway. He was past the point of no return.

Jake sheathed himself in a condom before prodding at Bree’s entrance with his engorged dick. He tested her with one finger, swirling it through her wetness.

  Bree moaned loudly.

“Shhh, babe.” Jake covered her mouth with one hand.

“They’re going to hear you,” he teased.

He laid her down in the middle of the bed and lifted her legs over his shoulders, poised at her entrance. Bree quivered beneath him, eager and ready to take what he was going to give her.

“Put it in,” she dared him.

Bree gazed downward at his hardness, which was slick between her folds. His dimple appeared as he grinned at her, but Bree didn’t have to ask twice. Jake found her entrance and pressed inside, agonizingly slow.

Bree’s mouth fell open as he did. She was deliciously full. He stretched her from the inside. She wanted more.

  “Is that okay?” He asked.

“Fuck me,” she moaned, sinking into the pillow beneath her. She felt her breasts jiggle as Jake moved in and out of her. One of his hands went to massage her clitoris.

With each thrust, the bed squeaked and knocked against the wall behind them. Bree moaned softly, trying her best to keep quiet.

“You look so good under me,” Jake breathed. “Fuck.”

He scrunched Bree’s dress up to the neck and lay kisses on her breasts as he ground himself against her. The pressure had begun building at her core. It was warm and tingly as it spread to her fingers and toes.

Bree grew quiet. Her breathing shallowed. Her hands fisted the blanket as Jake toyed with her sensitive nub. It wasn’t long before he triggered a strong orgasm in her.

  “Oh my god!”

Her pussy convulsed and she lost control, overwhelmed by the pleasure that rippled through her. Jake went deeper as she contracted around him, bringing a hand to squeeze one of her hardened nipples. That did it for Bree. Her head was buried deeper in the pillow. She tipped her chin to the ceiling.

Jake’s uniform still sat in a ball on the floor, sending fresh heat through Bree when he caught her looking.

“You like when I fuck you at the fire station? Huh, naughty girl?”

“Yeah,” her chin went up and down quickly.

Jake groaned, burying himself deep. He lifted Bree’s legs even higher in the air as he drove in and out of her.

  “I’m coming,” he announced.

She felt his cock pulse against her walls as he filled the condom. They continued to move, completely in sync with one another until they both went limp.

“Think anyone heard that?” Jake joked. Bree lay against his chest as they caught their breath.

  “Maybe.”

He kissed her one more time.

Sure enough, when they arrived downstairs, the entire group of men began applauding. Bree laughed along, refusing to be embarrassed for enjoying a little afternoon delight. It was a free country, and the guys were obviously jealous.

“Alright, that’s enough, guys. Bree and I are leaving. See you in a couple of days.”

Jake dismissed the men with a shake of his head, and they bid farewe
ll. A few whistles followed them as they exited.

“Ready for our real date now?” Jake asked her.

  Bree laughed.

“I don’t know how it could get any more real than that… but yes. Where are we going?”

“How does dinner and a movie sound?”

She looked at him, her heart fluttering at the thought of cuddling in the theatre.

  “Sounds perfect.”

“What would you do if you already had more than enough money to live for the rest of your life?”

Jake asked Bree the question over dinner. He’d brought her to her favourite restaurant to make up for their first date. They’d been taking turns coming up with hypothetical scenarios for the past twenty minutes, indifferent to the fact that the place was closing soon. Their waiter probably feared he’d never get to give them their bill.

“Hmmm,” Bree said, mulling it over. She took a long sip from her near-empty wine glass before committing to an answer:

“I think I’d probably be a writer. I love books, and I love being a librarian, but I don’t really get much of a creative outlet working there.”

“Really? Don’t you ever get to read during the day?”

“Nope, not often. Most of my time at the office is spent doing other things, sadly.”

  “What would you write about?”

Bree smiled. “Anything, really. It would probably be make-believe. I think the world of fiction is a lot more fun than the real world, sometimes.”

  “Fair enough.”

  “What about you?”

“I’d probably be a chef,” Jake said. “I love to cook.”

“I knew it!” Bree had a twinkle in her eye. Jake was an excellent cook. He often sent her photos of what he was making at the moment. “Your food always looks so good.”

“Thanks. Say the word and I’ll cook whenever you want.”

“Be careful what you wish for,” Bree smiled.

He took her hand on the surface of the table just as the waiter came over.

“Sorry to interrupt, but we’re closing in a few minutes. Do you mind if I bring over the bill?”

“Oh, not at all,” Jake said. “Guess we just got lost in conversation.” He winked at Bree.
