Chapter 2 – Five Pillars of Strength
After entering inside, the three of them were able to smell something very good; it was like as if they had reached heaven. There was complete peace and quiet. Vilom then took them near a small orifice where he asked them to insert their thumbs. After inserting their thumbs there was a door which was completely camouflaged because of the overgrowth of trees, this opened up and there was a huge banyan tree guarding an ancient idol. The idol was so beautiful that due to the spiritual nature of the couple tears started rolling down their cheeks.
Vilom said “This is the oldest idol on our planet; nobody knows the whereabouts of this place except Olom and another wise man whom we shall meet later. Now please light the oil lamps which Olom had given you both.”
Olivaha did the needful.
Idaha asked “Well, everything is fine, but what do we do regarding our food, now that we are inside a place which is a secret to mankind?”
Vilom said “Did you observe something strange near the idol where Olivaha lit the lamps?”
Idaha said “No, nothing.”
Vilom then took them near the idol and pointed towards four pillars which were the supporting part of the temple, but along with these pillars there was another pillar which was almost magnetically levitating. Vilom took a handkerchief and placed it near the fifth pillar just behind the idol at the bottom of the pillar and pulled it from left to right and the handkerchief moved without getting caught to the pillar thus proving to the couple that it was indeed levitating.
Idaha was startled.
He asked “This is magic, how can this be possible?”
Vilom then said “These five pillars each represent the five elements respectively. The five elements are air, water, earth, fire and ether. The pillar which is levitating represents ether. Everything in this universe is a combination of these five elements. All organisms, everything that belongs to the animal and plant kingdom belongs to or is made up of the five elements, and in turn all these things require these five elements for their survival. Now, it will be these five pillars which would provide food for you too.”
Olivaha asked “What, how can stone pillars provide us with food?”
Vilom replied “If you both observe at the bottom of the pillars there are five gem stones respectively, each representing the element. When we remove them from their positions and rub them together, it would generate enough energy to summon spirits, but please do not get scared as these spirits are all good ones and mean no harm. These spirits would get you whatever you want.”
Idaha and Olivaha were now able to understand how ascetics, great souls like Olom live without having any money for themselves. Divine intervention is the key here they thought. Vilom plucked the five gem stones from the pillars brought them together and rubbed it against each other, there was some energy which was being generated as the overall temperature of the place slightly increased.
A voice was heard “How may I help you?”
It was a spirit which was so beautiful to look at that the couple realized it was an angel.
The spirit said “My name is Maya. Please let me know how I can help you?”
Vilom said “Please help these two devotees of Gabhiro with food. They have come here to perform austerities for Gabhiro so as to obtain children in their life.”
Maya accepted the request and said “How wonderful it is to meet the devotees of the ever loving, ever peaceful Gabhiro.”
Maya then used some sort of magic and provided food to them. She also presented them with a silver plate which would make sure that their food needs were taken care of.
Maya said “Please make sure to use this magic plate to fill your stomachs. But if in case you require my assistance then please summon me again using the gem stones” and disappeared.
Idaha and Olivaha were completely surprised at the lessons that they were learning. It was true that they had heard of such stories of existence of God and his divine servants. But now they were a witness to it as well.
Vilom said “Now do you understand that there are many things which we humans cannot do with this body?”
Idaha and Olivaha gave smiles which reflected the amount of faith that they had now developed in God. Olivaha and Idaha slept for the night, but before they completely dozed off, Vilom assured them of their meeting with the so called ‘Wise Man’. The next few days passed with both of them following their regular routine of bath in the river and performing the required austerities which they had been asked to do by Olom and Vilom. Olivaha was now getting a bit tense, there had been no meeting with the ‘Wise Man’ whom they were supposed to have met by then and she was losing patience, when Idaha felt like summoning Maya again.
Idaha went along with Olivaha near the idol of ‘Gabhiro’ and pulled out the gemstones from all the pillars and rubbed it against each other and as usual the energy source by the name of Maya appeared. She was looking more beautiful than usual.
Maya asked “How may I help you” in her usual sweet divine voice.
Idaha asked “Why is it that we have been made to wait for so long when others who do not have much faith like us are enjoying their lives? Is the law of nature taking revenge for no fault of ours?”
Maya then gave a sweet smile and said “My dear Idaha, law of nature does not take revenge. The job of the law of nature is to purify the souls and raise the consciousness levels by targeting our weaknesses. You will be meeting the ‘Wise Man’ in another few days. He is no ordinary person mind you, but at the same time has so much love and affection that if a comparison is made between butter and his heart, his heart would melt first. Something very good has been planned for you both. Whenever God gives us something he makes sure that it stays with us forever.”
Both of them were happy at whatever Maya told them. At that time there was a flash of lightning, and they were able to see a human like structure standing in front of them.
