  A SAMPLE FROM A GHOST, A WEREWOLF, AND A VAMPIRE…

  (A Supernatural Trio Joke Book)

  ANGER

Arrow of hate shot at the foe.

Not suffering this fool at all!

  Guts vised into granite.

Eventually, I realize hate rights no wrongs.

Regretting the hurts on both sides.

  BRAVERY

  Beating hard, my heart

  Rapid gasps of breath

  Apt to be mortally hurt

Very close to death am I.

  Enemies surround me.

Running away from danger is my safest bet

Yet I stay to do my duty and stand firm

  CLARITY

  Concrete facts that have

  Lost the fuzz that clouds

  All of

  Reality. Did

  I grasp the

  Truth?

  Yes!

  DEVOTED

  Death,

  Even unto death, I

  Vow to

Offer all I have to give

  To God, country, family.

  Eternal love I

  Do bestow.

  EAGER

  Experiencing great

  Anticipation. Let’s

  Go, let’s go!

  Expressing a yen to proceed

  Rapidly!

  FAITH

  (A paraphrase pf Hebrews 11:1)

  From God’s Word, this is

  A proving of what is

  Invisible,

  The substance of things

  Hoped for.

  GLADNESS

  Gracefully

  Leaping and laughing,

  A lovely

  Dancer named Anissa

  Neatly

  Expresses a

  Sublime,

  Sunny satisfaction.

  HOPEFUL

  Holding and

  Owning in your heart the

  Possibility of a longed-for

  Event.

  Forecasting the

  Ultimate fulfillment of

  Love.

  IN LOVE

  Incredible that in the

  Nearness of you

  Lungs labor for breath.

One glimpse of you and my heart careens.

  Very center of my

  Existence you enflesh.

  JUMPY

  Jangled nerves;

  Upset stomach with flutterbies,

  Mount those bars, Elizabeth!

  Pirouetting smartly and THEN –

  YES! Nailed the dismount!

  KINDNESS

Kissing the ravaged cheek of a leper in

  India, Mother Theresa embodies the

  Nature of our

Divine Savior, Jesus. Doing good to the

  Neediest of our brothers

  Evidences a

  Sincere

  Solicitude.

  LONELINESS

  Lost everyone.

  Only I remain.

  Nobody around to fill my

  Emptiness. I’m

  Lost

  Inside.

No one in my heart to

  Ease my

  Sadness. I’m

  So utterly alone.

  MANIC

  Madly careening

  Around and

  Not looking as thoughts race

Inside your head. Hey! Watch out!

  Crash!

  NAUGHTY

Not doing mischief just for the sake of it.

All she can see is a chance to have fun.

  Undermining life's dullness

Grabbing an opportunity for joy. She can't

  Help herself. She clutches then

  Tosses her pet.

Yeeowwr! The cat's had enough, Elizabeth!
