"Yeah, but what if it's like a scam or something?" she asks me worriedly.
“Isn’t it just, like, being their assistant?”
“I don’t think so. I said I’m very happy working at Love in Bloom. You know how I want to open my own flower shop like you have your own bakery. They acted like it was something I could do in addition to that.”
“Well, maybe it could helping them advertise an app in your downtime or something?” I guess.
“Maybe,” she says, not sounding convinced.
I’m not sure why she’s making such a big deal out of this, and I wish I could trade her places. I would love to do something on the side to make extra money, even though I do love my bakery.
On that note, I have to get going.
I glance at the clock and finish the rest of my food in a hurry.
"You’re just calling him and finding out more about it. You don't have to say yes to anything right away," I remind her.
Sheila laughs and says, "I guess you’re right. I'll call you later, my break is over."
"Okay. Be safe at work," I reply as we hang up.
I sit at the table and sip the rest of my coffee in silence. I think about Sheila and sigh. I wish I could have guys hitting on me. I'm so busy with work that my dating life is pretty much nonexistent.
I wash my breakfast dishes, then go upstairs to shower for work. I can clean the house later when I get home. When I arrive at my shop, I notice that there is a line of people. I'm shocked.
My employee, Ciara, was holding down the fort but as I walk in the door, I notice she looks flustered. I hurriedly put on my apron and join her behind the counter.
"Sorry, we got slammed with orders all of a sudden," she explains.
"That's okay. I'm here to help now," I assure her.
I go in the back and start baking nonstop. People are happy that their orders are finally being taken care of. We had a really big cupcake order this morning, so I work on filling that in between taking new orders.
Ciara looks back at me and gives me a thumbs up. I smile at her. She’s a hard worker, but I’m a little faster and more experienced than she is.
A couple of hours later, we are all caught up. I'm rinsing off some things in the kitchen and setting up in case we get another rush.
"I guess people heard what a success that banquet was last night?" Ciara asks, as she helps me.
"Seems that way, since business seems to be really picking up now," I reply happily.
Honestly, I am just about as happy as can be. Even though it might seem hectic and chaotic, and even though it won’t make me rich – which is why I think Sheila is crazy for not finding out more about the money-making opportunity ASAP – I love my career and I’m so glad I can have my own bakery.
Ciara answers the phone and starts writing things down. Apparently, I have another custom cake request. I can't wait to get started on it. Baking is so much fun.
I soon lose myself as I start designing the cake. Ciara watches intently. She wants to learn to do the things that I do. She's a sweet person, and I don't mind showing off my skills.
We work together and are proud of the finished outcome. Tired but proud. I’d say it’s already been a day’s worth of good work and that’s one of the reasons I love doing what I do.
Chapter 4 - Tammy
The next day, I’m supposed to be getting ready for work, but I'm not ready to leave the comfort of my bed. I'm wide awake of course, lying here and staring up at the ceiling. I have a bunch of online orders I need to work on today, so I really need to get in there.
I’m just still not a morning person, despite needing to get up early to bake things. You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but some people’s internal clocks, or circadian rhythms or whatever they’re called, never totally adjust to schedules they don’t like.
I hope the store isn't as packed today as it was yesterday. Although a busy day means a good day, it's still a lot of work to handle.
My cell phone is charging on the dresser by my bed. It rings loudly. I blink a couple of times and then answer it.
"Hello?" I ask.
"You are not going to believe this,” Sheila says loudly from the other end of the phone.
"What's up?" I ask curiously.
If she's calling, it's either important or she’s bored on her break at work. She has to go in even earlier than I do NOW, since she doesn’t own the place.
"So, I called Andrew and found out that this ‘money making opportunity’ is a virginity auction!" she says in shock.
I'm surprised by it too, but also a little intrigued.
"What does that mean exactly?" I ask.
I heard they have them in the big cities, but I'm not completely sure what they even are.
Sheila explains to me how rich billionaires can bid on women for anything they want, including their virginity. To be honest, that sounds kind of exciting. Being in a room with rich gorgeous men, all of whom are vying to sleep with me for money.
I don't say this out loud. Sheila is still talking about it.
"You know I can't do something like that though. I'm not that type of person," she complains. “Plus, it’s not even a sure thing. They’re looking for places to have them, and believe it or not, they think the flower shop could be a good place.”
"Maybe you can just host it or something? Will you still get money if you do that?" I ask curiously.
"Yeah…. he did say I could make good money doing it that way, but I still don't know," Sheila says hesitantly.
I sigh loudly in exasperation.
"Oh, just do it. You’re wanting to save up money for your florist business, anyway. Besides, it's not like you are actually participating in it," I encourage her.
After a few seconds of contemplation, she says, "Maybe you're right. I'll have to call him back and talk to him about it some more."
I sit up in bed and pull the covers around me.
"That's the spirit, and now you have another reason to call and flirt with him," I say, giggling.
Sheila hushes me.
"I was not flirting with him. It was the other way around," she clarifies. “But I can’t say I minded, because he’s really hot.”
"Whatever, just call him and let me know how it goes. I need to get ready for work," I reply, now feeling doubly jealous.
"Okay, I'll talk to you later," Sheila says, as we both hang up.
I put my phone back on the charger and lay back in bed. Once again, I feel envious of Sheila. I wish I had money making opportunities presented to me like that. My business could use the extra funds. I start thinking of all the improvements and expansion that I could make to my store.
That would just crush Amelia, my business rival. She'd be so jealous of all the things my business would have if it got extra help and money. We went to high school together. Amelia has always competed with me for everything.
I would love to get a bigger place for more business and beat Amelia once and for all. I can only imagine the look on her face if that happens.
I sigh sadly, realizing that things like that don't ever happen for me. Sheila is so lucky. I really hope she takes these guys up on this opportunity. Her business needs more help than mine does.
Now that we’ve talked about it, I can't get the idea of an auction out of my head. I wonder what it would be like to be in that situation. How would I react in a room full of rich men like that?
Honestly, I'd probably be up for whatever they suggest. Especially if they are paying good money for it. I'm always looking for a bit of fun. This auction business certainly sounds like it.
I wonder if I can get in on this opportunity too?
I shake my head. That would be foolish; besides, it wasn't offered to me. Suddenly, I can't wait for Sheila to call me again. I have a million questions that I want to ask her. I can't get this idea out of my head, no matter how hard I try. Not only does it sound like good business, I th
ink it's exciting and sexy.
I really wish I was Sheila. I would definitely take part in this opportunity and probably auction myself off. It sounds crazy, I know, but I think it would be worth it.
I could have all that money and fun.
What could be better than that?
I feel myself growing wet at the idea of being in a virginity auction with all those handsome billionaires. I'm still lying in bed. I don't have to be at the bakery just quite yet, because I know Ciara can handle things until I get there.
I slide my hand under the covers. My fingers slip into my pajama pants. I push my panties aside and start playing with myself.
I imagine being in the arms of some gorgeous guy. The excitement that I would feel as he touched me. The things he would do to me.
I've always been adventurous so I would be open to trying anything. I would love to be undressed and spanked, or just bent over and fucked good and hard.
I’ve never had sex before, and it's been so long since I did anything physical with a man. It would feel so nice to have that physical contact with someone else. To have him whisper dirty things in my ears and dominate my body.
The thought sends shivers down my spine. I've always been attracted to strong, take-charge men like that. I bet there would be a lot of them there at the auction. That thought turns me on even more.
My fingers rub and stroke my pussy until I cum, while thinking about a man licking my clit and then fucking me. Afterwards, I tell myself that that's enough fun and force myself to get up and shower for work.
I still can't get the idea out of my head, but I have to try so that I'm able to concentrate at work. I have a lot of orders to get through and I can't afford to be distracted today.
I keep anxiously glancing at my phone, waiting for Sheila to call. I'm dying to know more about the auction and what she said. I hope I'll be invited. I'd like to see it, just out of curiosity.
Chapter 5 - Brian
Finally, after weeks of planning, it's auction night. Apparently, Sheila decided to host the auction after all, because she’d received an opportunity to buy the flower shop from its owner, ad needed to raise money to do so.
I’m both excited and nervous. So far things seem to be going well. I'm especially proud of Andrew. After a lot of conversations, he was able to convince Sheila to agree to host the event. Sure, things really fell into place to make the offer too good for her to refuse, but he was a big part of it. Those two had become quite chummy over the phone.
I walk around looking at people, but it doesn't feel the same as back home. Having an auction in a flower shop just isn’t the same as having it at an exclusive high-class dinner club specifically for the purpose of hosting billionaire and virgin auctions.
Still, I tell myself that beggars can’t be choosers.
I’m also disappointed in the variety and quality of women that are here, though. I want this night to be a success. That's why I am so worried and nervous. I'm hoping that it will be, but hoping and having it actually happen are two completely different things.
I look around anxiously and see the hostess for the auction, Julia, waving me over. She doesn't look too happy.
This is not going to be a pleasant conversation, I think to myself as I walk over to her. I've known Julia for a long time. She handles all our auctions back in the Silicon Valley and is in charge of the Love in San Francisco Club.
After I called her, she got in contact with Andrew, since he had the connection with Sheila, and both of them were able to help me put this auction together.
I walk over to her.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
She looks stressed. I already know it's about the auction.
She looks at me and says, "We have to get enough people on stage, or this auction will be a bust."
I sigh and look around the room, wondering who to start with. There is not a whole lot of variety to choose from. Maybe this type of event is too crazy for this small town crowd. I shake that thought away.
I have to figure out a way to make this work. I need this auction to be a success. We invested a lot into it to make it happen.
"I'll walk around and mingle. See if I can convince some of them to participate or something,” I reply, trying to think of how to fix this.
"Let's hope that works. If it doesn't, we are going to lose so much money tonight," Julia says, her voice getting more anxious.
"Calm down. I'll see what I can do," I assure her hastily.
She nods, smooths her hair back into place, then walks away. It's rare to see her react that way, since she’s normally so calm and collected. I understand why she’s worried, though.
Hell, I'm worried too. I disappear back into the crowd of people and try to chat up some of the women who are there.
A few people express some interest, or curiosity in what the auction is all about. I send them over to talk to Julia. This seems to satisfy her for now. I breathe a quick sigh of relief. I had no idea it was going to be this much work, or this stressful.
The auctions back home are so much easier. Maybe because there were a lot more people in the city, or people are just kinkier out there or something. I really miss being there and attending those auctions. Even though I never found my dream girl, the city offered a larger variety of women.
Julia is busy, so I look around for Andrew. He's busy talking to Sheila. I'm surprised. I knew she was his type, but she didn't seem the type who was interested in anyone to be honest.
I look around at the people who are here. I might as well find someone to talk to and distract me. I focus on a group of women standing near the window. None of them catch my attention, so I just look them over.
Suddenly, I have to stop and do a double take. I must be seeing things. I blink again and start to smile. Standing by herself, near the window, is the hottest girl I have ever seen.
To call her my dream girl would be an understatement. She is perfectly petite and curvy. She has long curly hair that I just want to tangle my fingers in.
She doesn't notice me and looks like she doesn't really want to be here. I'd love to hold her voluptuous body against mine. To press myself into all of her curves.
I lick my lips as I think about that. I can't help it. I wonder who she is? The only way I'm going to find out is by going over and talking to her, I remind myself. I take a breath, smooth my tux and walk over to her.
"Well, hello there," I say, with a smooth smile. “You are a breath of fresh air to see here.”
"Umm, hi, " she replies.
She looks a little unimpressed. But that’s okay because I like a challenge.
I introduce myself by saying, "I'm Brian. My friend Andrew and I organized this event."
I know I’m bragging, trying to impress her. I hope it works.
Her eyes widen in surprise.
"Oh! You're the ones Sheila was telling me about. Nice to meet you, I'm Tammy," she replies, with a small smile.
I smile back, then look at her, confused.
"Sheila told you about me?" I ask.
"Yes. We’re best friends. She called me and told me when you offered her this opportunity," she replies.
I look at her with interest. I like talking to her, but I love looking at her even more. I want to see her naked, writhing in my sheets.
Our attention turns to the stage as Julia announces the first auction. Tammy looks curious, so I ask her, "Are you going to participate? You should, because you are very beautiful.”
I throw in the compliment hoping to soften her up, but it’s absolutely true. She looks like she wants to laugh at me and shakes her head.
"Sorry. I just came to support my friend. These types of events aren't my thing," she explains.
"Aw, come on. You could make a lot of money?" I reply suggestively.
She starts to look a little annoyed at me, even though it was clear she was kind of interested in me just a bit ago.
"Sorry,
but no," she replies and looks away.
I love the way she stood up to me just now. She's got a feisty spirit in her. That's my type of woman.
Somehow, I have to convince her to be in this auction so I can win her. I'm sure I will be able to.
I love a challenge, and her feisty attitude certainly is one. I smirk at her when she's not looking and start thinking of ways to convince her.
"Are you sure you don't want to participate?" I ask her bluntly, figuring that it's worth a shot.
No one has ever accused me of being shy. I don’t see the point in beating around the bush whenever one can cut to the chase and be direct.
She smirks back at me and shakes her head. I'm both intrigued and turned on by her now. She looks at me curiously, as if daring me to ask her again, before looking away.
Well, now it’s on, I think to myself.
An official challenge.
I love it.
Chapter 6 - Tammy
The guy that Sheila told me about, Brian, spends a long time talking to me. I like the attention. It's been too long since I have had someone flirt with me. He's hot, but seems kind of arrogant in the way that he talks, and there are other little things that I notice about him.
I mean, I was curious about the auction and it is exciting to be here, but I'm not about to sell my virginity to the first guy that I talk to, no matter how handsome or rich he is. That's just not the type of person that I am, and I am not about to change that for anyone.
I pretend to ignore Brian for a while, but it's difficult to do because the things he's saying are interesting to me. He's explaining how the auctions work and that I could make money like Sheila.
Still, my opinion hasn't changed. It's my body and it's not up for bid. After a few minutes of trying to convince me, he gives up on that.
"You know, you don't have to take part in the auction. You could make money hosting one, like Sheila, or maybe you could cater one?" he suggests.
I have to admit that I like both of his ideas. Maybe I could combine them into one, since I have my own bakery.
