But Happy was the most pleased with killing Situ Luoyu, the sect master of Fallen Feathers Sect. After such an event, Fallen Feathers Sect might be at a disadvantage in their fight against Chivalry Sect.

His main goal for coming to Fox Cave was achieved!

"We killed the leaders of Fallen Feathers Sect and Perpetual Joy Sect, so we might run into trouble in the future. Big Brother Thunder…"

When he noticed the apologetic look in Happy's eyes, Thunderous Battle swung his hand in a displeased manner. "Enough with the bull crap! I came here to explore the map with you. If I didn't fight with the others, I wouldn't have been satisfied anyway. Everyone else can go and fly a kite for all I care. Fallen Feathers Sect and Perpetual Joy Sect? If worse comes to worst, I'll just run away from them in the future."

"Big Brother Thunder, you're just destroying your own prestige if you say that. Where did all your might go?" Little North asked. "You're even thinking about running away from those bastards from Fallen Feathers Sect?"

Thunderous Battle rubbed the bridge of his nose in embarrassment. He smiled bashfully and said that Little North was right.

However, all of them knew clearly that with a single player's abilities, it was simply ridiculous of them to even think about fighting against a guild. Little North's words were simply the indignation of a young man. He immediately fell into deep thought and began analyzing their situation.

"Big Brother Thunder, in truth, you're quite strong. The damage and speed of your sword technique is good, and your body fortification technique is also good. You can easily gain the upper hand when you deal with good players below Mystical Realm. It's a pity that your lightness skill is a little weak."

"That's right." All-powerful Medicinal Stone took over the conversation while looking at Thunderous Battle. "It won't do if you don't have a high-tier lightness skill. If you're slow, it'll be easy for you to get hit. You especially can't go without one when you're up against a guild. Look at me, I can run if I can't win against them, but you can't do that. Once they set their sights on you, it'll be very easy for them to eat you up until there's nothing left."

Thunderous Battle nodded with a face full of regret.

"I want that, of course, but it's not easy to get a high-tier lightness skill manual. That Fox Monster's Phantasmal Shadow did not even appear while we were at the first level."

"It's fine. The chances of Fox Monster's Phantasmal Shadow dropping is higher in the second level of Fox Cave. We might run into one later," Happy said to comfort him.

When he heard it, Thunderous Battle quickly shook his head.

"Don't! I don't need it just yet. If one appears, you can take it first. Happy, Little North, both of you don't have high-tier lightness skills as well, right? Besides, Little North doesn't even have a high-tier body fortification technique. At the very least, I still have a high-tier body fortification technique."

"Don't worry, we'll all get what we deserve." Happy smiled. "Dead She-wolf, the mini-boss in the chamber, will definitely drop Fox Monster's Phantasmal Shadow and Illusory Spirit Body. One of them is a body fortification manual, and the other is a lightness skill manual. You can get one book each, which is just nice."

  "What about you?"

When Thunderous Battle and Little North heard Happy's words, they were unwilling to accept his offer. They knew that Happy's lightness skill was only a low-tier lightness skill—Cloud Treading Steps—at Grandmaster Realm.

"You don't have to worry about me. I've already prepared a high-tier lightness skill for myself, and it's in my storage. I can learn it when I reach Mystical Realm."

When the three heard his explanation, they relaxed. Yet when they realized that he mentioned going up against Dead She-wolf, they could not help but be a little nervous.

"Are we going up against Dead She-wolf with only the four of us?" All-powerful Medicinal Stone scowled, making it clear that he was a little uneasy and hesitant. "Dead She-wolf is not a normal monster. I heard that she's a humanoid werewolf that has the abilities of a Life and Death Realm martial artist! She's also invisible under the effects of the illusion matrix. If we go against her with just the four of us, we might end up not even knowing how we died."

Happy did not say anything. Naturally, he knew all of that. However, if he did not have full confidence in killing Dead She-wolf, he would not have come. He just smiled and told them his plan.

At that moment, a voice that the quartet was not familiar with came from the direction of the entrance to the chamber.

"If you're going to fight Dead She-wolf, I can help you."

Red Dust swept a glance over the corpses littered all over the ground before he said, "I won't take any items. Consider my help as thanks for you taking revenge for my brothers."

  Chapter 202 - Dead She-wolf

Red Dust's arrival both surprised and delighted Happy and his party. They were shocked to learn that the expedition group from Chivalry Sect had perished because of Situ Luoyu's scheme, and only Red Dust got to survive out of sheer luck after he managed to hide in Dead She-wolf's chamber. The second part of the story left them happy because Red Dust was at Mystical Realm. He only needed to rest for a while before he could be of great help.

Red Dust told the four of them that since he had been avoiding the elites from the two sects to not be killed, he did not even have the time to treat his wounds and circulate his qi. He had, in fact, been prepared to die in Dead She-wolf's chamber, but to his surprise, he did not attract Dead She-wolf's attention, which was why he had been waiting by the edge of the chamber until then.

When Happy heard his story, he sighed in relief. If Red Dust had died, Chivalry Sect would have lost one of its great fighters for the next month, and Fallen Feathers Sect would still be able to oppress them. If that happened, the actions of Happy and his party in Fox Cave and the Pear Blossom Storm Needles he had used would not make a serious impact on the original storyline.

As long as Red Dust survived, it would be a great disaster to Fallen Feathers Sect, which suffered great damage in their fighting ability!

There were only a few top-tier fighters in Fallen Feathers Sect. Next time, when Red Dust visited them, unless Fallen Feathers Sect exposed their connection to Class One Hall ahead of time or asked for help, they would be unable to do anything against Chivalry Sect.

It would also become very hard for them to fight against Chivalry Sect in Fox Cave in the future.

When Happy thought of that, he felt comforted. He exchanged a glance with All-powerful Medicinal Stone before he asked Red Dust to circulate his qi and treat his injuries on the spot.

With Happy and his party providing protection, Red Dust soon recovered from all his injuries. Only a few internal and external ones were left, but they could not be healed immediately.

Happy was not stingy. He brought out a Dew Pill and had Red Dust take it.

Dew Pills could not only get rid of certain internal injuries and nourish the body, but they also had the effect of swiftly healing external injuries. Right after Red Dust ate the medicinal pill, he recovered completely!

"Um… pardon me for asking, but where did you get this medicinal pill?"

  "Herbalists can create them."

Dew Pills were not a secret, and Happy did not have any intention of making it into one.

  "It's a good item!"

Once he personally experienced the benefits brought by a Dew Pill, Red Dust naturally understood the importance of such medicinal pills. 'If I can get such pills before we go to war against Situ Luoyu, my sect members will not be wiped out no matter what, and even if we can't counterattack a group of enemies, we could at least ensure that a portion of us escape.'

"Don't start thinking too far ahead."

Happy knew what Red Dust thought about at the moment he saw his expression. He decided to be a wet blanket without hesitation and said, "The cost for one Dew Pill is up to two thousand taels of silver crumbs, and if you add up the time to make one and the failure rate,
you'll find that the commitment during the early stages of creating them is very great. The cost for each pill will be near three thousand taels of silver crumbs. There isn't any guild who can store this medicinal pill in bulk for the time being."

Red Dust found himself speechless. When he heard Happy tell him the cost, he instantly became dejected.

Three thousand taels of silver crumbs for a single-use item was a little too high. A good player would only have a few pills on standby if they had extra money after buying all the necessary equipment. A normal player would have a hard time saving up money to buy just one pill.

Even though Red Dust really wanted to ask Happy just how many pills he had, he did not in the end, since there really was no need for him to do it.

"Happy, before we deal with Dead She-wolf, I think we need to get rid of the bastards in the second level of Fox Cave."

  "Hmm?"

"You killed only a small portion of Fallen Feathers Sect and Perpetual Joy Sect. There are still plenty of their people moving about. If we had to fight them right now, none of us over here would be afraid of them, but I'm worried that they'll come barging in when we're fighting against Dead She-wolf."

Red Dust's reminder was quite logical.

Even though Happy knew that Red Dust had made this suggestion while harboring a huge grudge and had the intention of taking revenge, his words were worth consideration. If Fallen Feathers Sect and Perpetual Joy Sect decided to harass them from a distance while they were fighting against Dead She-wolf, they would cause irreversible loss to Happy's party. They did indeed need to clear up the second level of Fox Cave a little.

"But this isn't something that is easily done. There should be at least eighty people from the two sects, and all of them have high-tier martial arts. They aren't normal players either. It'll be even more difficult to get rid of them compared to clearing the second level of Fox Cave of White Foxes." All-powerful Medicinal Stone had a grave look on his face.

The other four people also nodded solemnly.

If they split up, it meant that every single one of them would have to handle twenty elites on their own. Even Happy would not be able to kill them easily. Besides, the people in the chamber right then were just slightly stronger than average.

"If only we had another Pear Blossom Storm Needles." Little North's words made all the people feel helpless.

At that moment, Happy spoke up.

"We definitely have to get rid of the people from Perpetual Joy Sect and Fallen Feathers Sect, but not now." His one sentence instantly attracted everyone's attention.

"What do you mean?" Red Dust sported a puzzled and contemplative expression.

"Fox Cave lasts only for around three hours. It has already been around one hour since the cave was activated tonight. We'll need at least an hour to get rid of all the people from the two sects!"

Happy analyzed the situation with a stern expression. "We won't have enough time to get rid of Dead She-wolf in the remaining time. Besides, we won't have the chance to obtain the resources in the depths of the second level either. If we do this, it won't be worth it."

"That's right." All-powerful Medicinal Stone nodded.

In truth, they had already achieved their goal of suppressing Fallen Feathers Sect. If they could get rid of the remaining people, it would be good for them, but if they could not, it would not make any significant difference.

Chivalry Sect could already gain the upper hand in their fight against Fallen Feathers Sect. Happy and his party did not need to waste their time with the insignificant matters and hinder their own progress. Illusory Spirit Body and Fox Monster's Phantasmal Shadow were much more attractive and meaningful than clearing Fox Cave of Fallen Feathers Sect Members and Perpetual Joy Sect Members.

"Have you decided to continue fighting against Dead She-wolf?" Red Dust understood the duo's meaning and frowned. "But what if—"

"What I'm saying is that All-powerful Medicinal Stone will be in charge of keeping an eye at the entrance and will serve as a sentry. Once there are any signs of trouble, he will immediately notify us. You, me, Little North, and Thunderous Battle will handle Dead She-wolf together! We will try to take the shortest amount of time to kill Dead She-wolf so that we can kill the people from the two sects later." Happy's expression remain unchanged as he voiced his plan.

However, there was a fatal flaw in his plan: while the four of them were fighting against Dead She-wolf, they might attract the other sects to them, which would cast greedy eyes on their rewards.

The level of difficulty that Dead She-wolf presented was a little too high, since she was a Boss in Life and Death Realm. They would require quite a lot of time to deal with her.

Red Dust had heard that nearly one hundred Blessed Realm players were needed to fight against the first Dead She-wolf, and they had spent more than an hour to do it. Around thirty people had also died during the process.

Red Dust was stunned for a moment. He simply could not imagine just where Happy's confidence came from.

Even Little North, All-powerful Medicinal Stone, and Thunderous Battle did not regard Happy's plan as plausible. They frowned and hesitated. If it were not for the fact that his plans had been perfectly executed so far and were always extraordinarily safe, they might have already voiced their disagreements and rejected his plan.

"Boss, do you have inside information?" Little North had a strange look on his face. He whispered to Happy in a mysterious manner. "Is it the same as the discovery of the hiding places in the first level?"

When the other three heard it, their eyes lit up!

Chapter 203 - Attack! Thousand Year Corpse King's Right Arm

Happy, Red Dust, Thunderous Battle, and Little North as well as his two battered zombie puppets walked into Dead She-wolf's chamber. A statue that looked like a creature's arm could be seen to the north, south, east and west of the center of the chamber. There was a hollow in the palms, and a black flint that had already burned out lay there.

The chamber was different to the other parts of Fox Cave in a sense that it was not as noisy and chaotic compared to the outside. There was nothing in the chamber. When they looked at the four stone claw statues shape as palms and the smooth and dim walls, they felt that the chamber was so empty and quiet that it was terrifying.

Happy and his party said nothing.

Aside from Red Dust, it was the first time the others had entered Dead She-wolf's chamber, and they were very nervous! They held their breaths and did not even dare to breathe loudly as they listened to their surroundings with their ears perked in hopes that they could sense where the mini hidden Boss was.

To them, it was a rare but dangerous encounter!

Red Dust thought in a similar manner, but for different reasons. It was the first time he entered the chamber in Fox Cave with so few people by his side.

To a large guild, even if Dead She-wolf was in Life and Death Realm, she was not terrifying. Her strongest point was that she was as elusive as a ghost, and there was no way that they could discover her location. However, if the members of the raid could coordinate with each other well, had decent equipment, and high-tier body fortification techniques, they could certainly kill her.

In the past, nearly hundreds of people would attack together. They would rely on the absolute advantage in numbers and teamwork to whittle down her HP which sacrificing countless lives and medicinal pills.

But unfortunately, right then, there were only four of them, along with two Blessed Realm puppets. They did have an advantage, but it was not great.

At the very least, Red Dust did not have any sort of confidence. He did not know how the four of them were going to handle Dead She-wolf, limit her moving range, nor make sure that their own HP could last them throughout the fight.

But when he compared the party members' reactions to his own, he became curious as to why Little North, All-powerful Medicinal Stone, and Thunderous Battle had such great expectations toward Happy!

  In truth tho
ugh, Happy was the main reason why Red Dust had decided to follow them into the chamber.

When they entered, Happy s.u.c.k.e.d in a breath, held it, and swiftly rushed forward to overtake the group. He arrived inside the chamber, and a faint golden light flowed out of his body. It swiftly covered him, making it look as if he had been dyed golden.

A weak wave of aura also surged out of Happy's body!

  Qi realm activated!

A light crease appeared between Red Dust's eyebrows. He quickly caught up to Happy and also activated his body fortification technique and qi realm. His momentum did not lose to Happy's, and in fact, he showed signs that he was about to overtake him.

Happy sighed in his heart. 'Mystical Realm players are indeed different.'

Even though Red Dust's body fortification technique was slightly lower that Happy's, and its quality was also lower, it had a boost from his higher qi realm, and his defensive abilities were not much lower than Happy's. As expected, he needed to increase his qi realm as soon as possible!

But he did not know that Red Dust had a different thought in his mind while he was beside Happy.

He had originally thought that Happy would take the initiative to ask for them to switch places so Red Dust would be first to withstand Dead She-wolf's attacks because of the advantage he had for being in Mystical Realm. However, once he activated his qi, the strength of his body fortification technique still did not seem to be as strong as Happy's.

Golden Bell Cocoon had enveloped Happy to the point that he looked like an indestructible golden person, while Red Dust was continuously using up his qi. He needed to restore his qi by eating medicinal pills nonstop to maintain his body fortification technique. The difference between their defenses could be seen with just one glance.
