by Black Swordsman Online

The girl had arrived at Taichi Sword Sect not too long ago, but she had killed no fewer than five hundred people. In the beginning, Taichi Sword Sect was controlled by a few large sects in the area. Most of the resources were in their control, and players who were slightly weaker were not allowed to get close to the area, or else those sects would attack in a group.

On the first day Wind Chimes arrived, a few ignorant people went to bully her because she was practicing her sword in a clumsy manner. That was why they tottered over to ask her for protection fees.

Wind Chimes looked as if she had just seen something precious. Her sword momentum changed, and she killed the thieves on the spot!

When they called for their friends and more than a dozen people surrounded her, Wind Chimes became even more high-spirited. She flipped open the lid of her sword casket to reveal a seven-stringed zither inside!

A demonic sound rose into the air.

The group of people were controlled by the notes, and their body fortifications were soon destroyed. Then, their qi vanished, and Wind Chimes began to dance in the area.

After some time, more people gathered around them.

Many people shot her from outside the area with hidden weapons and arrows, but the projectiles either lost their target when the sound waves caught them in the air or were crushed in flight.

If it were not because Silver Mask Duke was no longer able to watch it and had Wind Chimes end the farce, the hundreds of people might have continued to fight against her while having no idea what was going on.

Murder with the sound produced from six fingers!

The hundreds of visible sound waves formed in the shape of arrows instantly killed almost every single person in the area, and the land was covered in corpses.

Even though Wind Chimes had used up all her qi for the killing move, Silver Mask Duke was by her side, and the people who were fortunate enough to survive screamed and fled like terrified souls. They no longer appeared near Taichi Sword Sect.

"How slow. It's becoming harder and harder to level up. When can I reach Life and Death Realm? This damn system… It actually placed a limit on me and said that I must fight monsters who are above my level to absorb EXP! It's horrible!"

Wind Chimes walked around Taichi Sword Sect just like in the past, but she did not discover any bad people, then she looked for a place to settle down, drew her longsword, and grumbled.

  "That's what it should do."

Silver Wolf was practicing Red Flame Palm nearby. When he heard her words, he thought, 'Fortunately the system placed some limits on this person with crazy Comprehension, or else, if she had already reached Life and Death Realm, no one beneath Moksha Realm could stand up to her.'

Chapter 459 - Immortal Cold Moon

After the battle at Eternal Peace Temple, there were many people who paid attention to the plot of the six great system allocated sects and Ming Cult.

Mistress Annihilation's death did not cause Emei Sect to lose control of their daily operations. Zhou Zhiruo swiftly took up the position of the sect leader of Emei Sect, and she moved straight from Life and Death Realm to Moksha Realm. The speed at which she increased her qi realm was so fast that it caused others to gasp in amazement.

Also, Emei Sect's quests started sprouting up like mushrooms after a rain. The reduction in Emei Sect's force of power caused ill will to appear in the area. Occasionally, various types of provocations would happen and disciples would go missing, so Zhou Zhiruo resolutely increased the number of sect quests when she faced such a situation. She also supported quite a number of inner sect disciples to protect the periphery of Emei Sect.

"Why is Emei Sect so unlucky? We can't even have peace when we grind. Some sort of person with a grudge against us will just pop up out of the blue, and sometimes even a few powerful evil sect fighters show up."

"Isn't that right? If I hadn't been smart enough to run yesterday, I would have been killed by Black and White Fiends. There's an increasing number of Moksha Realm NPCs... I wonder whether this game will turn into a place where Inaction Realm fighters will be all over the place in the future."

"Let's not think about that. I only want to know whether Black and White Fiends have left today. If they're still there, we can only switch places to grind."

A few female players sighed and moved to the place where they usually trained at the foot of Emei Sect's mountain.

That was the territory of Golden Arm Apes.

Golden Arm Apes were intelligent beasts in Life and Death Realm. When they stood up on hind legs, they were larger than humans, and their golden fur was thick and sturdy. Their defense was incredibly high, and their movement speed was great.

Their arms were lean and long, and they were born with great strength. That meant that they could easily tear apart leopards, but what was commendable about them was that it was said that the Golden Arm Apes were familiar guests in Emei Sect's hiding place for their classic manuals.

They often stole and learned Emei Sect's palm techniques, which was why they sometimes dropped some low quality low-tier or high-tier martial art manuals. Their pelts were also good material for creating high-grade armor.

  "Hmm?"

Before the group of people could even get close to Golden Arm Apes' territory, they suddenly heard the sounds of intense fighting from a distance. Strange, neverending whistles kept slicing through the air.

  "Is there someone there?"

"Let's go and have a look."

Most of the disciples in Emei Sect were girls, and when they heard that Golden Arm Apes' territory, which was usually a place that no one approached, was occupied, they grew curious and the spirit of gossip lit up in their hearts.

After some time, they saw a black figure and a white figure in the forest. There was also a gold hoop and a silver hoop flying in the air. The hoops moved swiftly between the two figures as the participants of the battle fought fiercely.

  "Black and White Fiends!"

  "It's her…"

The group suddenly came to a stop. One of the girls with a pretty face cried out in surprise and bewilderment as she stared at the girl who was fighting against Black and White Fiends. There was shock and disbelief in her eyes.

  "Sister Yue, you know her?"

"Black Rose," Yue Hua said. "She's Black Rose Clan's leader, and she's also part of Emei Sect. The other one is also from Black Rose Clan, and she's called Red Coral. You should know her.

"Red Coral is the one who obtained Sword of V.i.r.g.i.ns and Ice Silver Needle from the ancient tomb." Once Yue Hua mentioned that, the female players around her looked over with surprise.

A girl at the back of the group seemed rather sentimental toward Black Rose's name.

"She's Black Rose? No way? How did she become so good?"

"Black Rose? She's the one who competed against Sister Yue Hua for the title of strongest in Emei Sect…"

After hearing that, they finally remembered that there was once a person whose abilities were close to Yue Hua's among the disciples in Emei Sect. The two had fought a few times before, but Black Rose had never won against Yue Hua, which was why no one had expected that she would become so powerful now.

"What's the weapon and martial art she's using? They look so unique…"

  "She's so powerful!"

Black Rose was dressed in golden armor, and it hugged her curves perfectly, which made her look extremely heroic!

She moved with ease before Black and White Fiends, who were Moksha Realm fighters…

Yue Hua remembered how yesterday she had been in trouble when the two fiends attacked her. It was something she was very clear about. If she did not have two of her sisters holding the line for her, she might have even died. That is why she did not expect that with just two months of them not seeing each other, the person who once lost to her could easily withstand the encirclement of two Moksha Realm fighters.

The sadness in Yue Hua's heart could easily be imagined!

"Who's the man beside her? Red Coral seems to be very affectionate with him."

When the sisters beside her reminded her of this fact, Yue Hua noticed the man in green robes standing in a stately manner outside the battlefield with a Bamboo Hat. Red Coral looked like a petite and delicate girl beside him as she continuously talked to him. She even occasionally covered her mouth and giggled while they chatted happily.

Yue Hua shuddered slightly. She was stunned for a few seconds after noticing him. Soon though, she understood what was going on and spoke up abruptly. "Come, let's go over and meet them."

  "Huh?"

The Emei Sect disciples were stunned, but they saw that Yue Hua had already bypassed Black and White Fiends to walk toward the man and woman across from them.

  "Is Sister Yue alright?"

"I don't know. Black Rose was on bad terms with Sister Yue last time. Let's follow her in case something happens."

  "Yeah."

  *****

"Golden Silver Hoop is a unique martial art, and it's very difficult to master it. Being able to attack and defend at the same time while utilizing the skills at will is even more difficult. I didn't expect that Sister Rose will be able to learn this in just slightly over a month. Her control is insane." The man sighed in amazement.

Red Coral smiled brilliantly. "That's all thanks to the martial art and weapon you provided, or else, she wouldn't have been able to become like this. Neither of the two could be missing.

"My sister said that she wants to thank you when you have some time. Without your help, it would have been impossible for us to gather up the full Golden Armor Set."

"Hehe, armor is supposed to be used, you know."

"No matter what, we have to thank you on behalf of our sisters and Sister Rose."

"We're all from the same clan, so there's no need for you to be so polite."

As he spoke, Happy suddenly sensed the group of Emei Sect disciples who were originally passing by the place heading straight toward them, and he could not help but be stunned.

When the female disciples of Emei Sect were halfway to closing on Yue Hua, they suddenly saw the man and woman across from them look in their direction.

What surprised them even more was that the man actually took off the Bamboo Hat that covered his face. He received Yue Hua with a bright smile and took the initiative to greet her from a distance.

  "Miss Yue, what a coincidence."

"Ah, it's really you. Ever since you vanished from Eternal Peace Temple, I didn't expect to see you in Emei Sect. It's truly a coincidence."

Yue Hua's natural and poised reply allowed the girls behind her to become certain that the two knew each other, and they became at ease.

But Yue Hua's words caused them to have their imaginations run wild.

'Seems like Sister Yue Hua has a fancy toward this handsome and manly man. It looks like she had been paying close attention to him.'

  "Come, let me introduce you—"

"Don't need, we know each other," Yue Hua interrupted the young man's words and looked at Red Coral with a grin. "Isn't that right, Coral?"

Red Coral nodded. "Yue Hua is known as Immortal Cold Moon in Emei Sect. I've heard of your name for a long time."

"These are my sisters, Jinjin, Qingqing, and Qing'er…"

The young man and Red Coral nodded at them one by one.

It was only then that Yue Hua introduced the young man with the mysterious identity to the girls whose eyes shone with expectation, and she did so in a grand fashion.

"This is the person you have been talking about day and night, the top ranked player on the Famous People Rank, Happy."

  The girls were stunned speechless.

Jingjing's eyes went wide, and she blinked repeatedly. She could not believe what she heard.

Qingqing and Qing'er were so shocked that they hugged each other. They even stuffed their fists into their mouths at the same time.

  'Happy!'

Chapter 460 - Drawing Someone to Their Side

Happy did not pay attention to the strange surprised expressions from the Emei Sect girls. He just looked at Yue Hua with a calm smile. He could sense that the Miss Yue he once met at the royal mausoleum had something troubling her, and it seemed to be related to Red Coral and Black Rose.

Even though they were talking about some of the things they experienced and some of the interesting things that happened in Emei Sect, when Yue Hua cast her glance at Black Rose, who was fighting against Black and White Fiends, her gaze betrayed things she did not say.

Red Coral's expression was also incredibly strange. She might be smiling faintly, but there was a hint of wariness in it.

After this continued for some time, she finally became natural in her mannerisms.

"So, Happy, you received a quest from our sect and was asked to come here to get rid of the evil sect fighters who appeared nearby?"

Yue Hua looked at Happy in astonishment.

He smiled, but shook his head. "It's similar, but it's not a quest from your sect. I'm not an Emei Sect disciple, after all."

"Oh." Yue Hua understood very quickly, and her eyes lit up. "It must be Zhou Zhiruo. After Mistress Annihilation died, I heard that you took the initiative to hand over the sect leader's jade ring to her. Whew, even our sect leader/teacher owes you a favor. Looks like I'll have to ask you to take care of us Emei Sect disciples in the future. If we follow you, we'll definitely gain our sect teacher's favor."

"Don't say that. Heh… I'll be embarrassed." Happy smiled, but a moment later, he schooled his expression and asked a favor from them. "Please try your best and not spread the news of me being here to anyone else."

"Yes, of course." Yue Hua tilted her pretty chin, and it made her look even more beautiful than she usually was. It also made her look less like a strong woman. "If you trust us enough to reveal your identity on your own, if we reveal your tracks, wouldn't that just make us not uphold the code of brotherhood?"

"My sister has spent almost all her qi. I'll go help her."

Red Coral cast a glance at the battlefield and told Happy that she was going before she grabbed her sword and rushed inside.

Two grunts came from the battlefield when she attacked.

  "Stupid wench!"

  "You're despicable!"

Once the fiends were attacked by Ice Silver Needle, their onslaught on Black Rose came to a pause, allowing her to catch her breath. She quickly took a Dew Pill to recover her qi.

  "Let's attack together!"

The two girls spoke concisely, and each lured away one fiend to fight against them on their own.

Red Coral's sword technique was incredibly bizarre. It looked like black lotuses that shone brilliantly and curiously. They shone with a profound darkness that seemed to be able to corrode a person's heart, and that light left her sword to swing in the air.

White Fiend fought against Red Coral. His movements swiftly became slower, and he seemed to have been caught in an indescribable aura. Sweat poured down his back, and he continuously avoided the black lotuses that filled the air.

But as time passed, more black lotuses showed up, and he was surrounded by trouble. In the end, the black lotuses took a bit off him one by one. They cut terrifying gashes on his body, making him look as if lotus petals had bloomed on him.

Yue Hua and the others were shocked. "What is that sword technique?"

"Lotus Essence Sword." Happy smiled faintly.

Yue Hua could sense that there was something different about the sword technique from the way Happy stared at Red Coral. She lowered her voice and asked, "Could it be an ultimate technique as well?"

"It's almost at that level." Happy gave an ambiguous answer.

But Yue Hua's gaze instantly changed.

Suddenly, a great sense of loss filled her heart.

She might have built Moon Reflection Temple not too long ago, but she could not stop the strange sense of loss from filling her heart.

She did not notice it, but she
suddenly began talking about her thoughts. "I didn't expect that the girls who were about the same as me in terms of strength a few months ago will surpass me like that.

"Now I'm beginning to wonder whether my initial choice was wrong. I should not have chosen to build Moon Reflection Temple, but have made the same choice as them and go on an adventure in the world of martial artists. If I did that, would I have experienced something different as well?"

Moon Reflection Temple was not famous in the game, and it was slightly different from what Yue Hua had initially imagined. Right then, Black Rose and Red Coral had both become outstanding figures in the game, and they far surpassed her. She was a little regretful after seeing that, and she did not know where she was going to go from there.

Happy said nothing. He just listened quietly.

"A few days ago, some of my former sect members came to try and give me advice. They said that I have a holier-than-thou attitude for being firmly entrenched in Emei. They left Moon Reflection Temple and joined other sects…"

She sighed and suddenly cast her gaze on Happy.

"It's only now that I understand that not everyone can become people like Dream Clouds, Wind Void, and Clear Music."

She paused for a moment before she continued. "Dream Clouds has leadership abilities and various strategies at her disposal. She also has Blood Robes and Barren Murderer.

"Wind Void is as good as a man, and she has Lin Xiao, Red Dust, and a group of chivalrous sect members. Clear Music, on the other hand, can see much further ahead than others. She also has a group of great players to help her.

"I don't have anything though. I'm only a girl who had the dream of being able to stand supreme in the world of martial artists. Yet I'm not even on par with Black Rose, who has a group of loyal sect members protecting her.

"Now that I think about it, at that time, I was truly a little naive. I couldn't do anything, and I even caused my sisters to get stuck at our starting point."

The girls from Moon Reflection Temple said nothing, but their eyes turned red. They knew the pressure on Yue Hua's shoulders, but they did not expect that her burden was so great. She had basically forced herself into a corner.
