by Celeste Raye
Her plans didn’t always go as they were supposed to, though. Her helping Drennan’s mother was supposed to be her way out. It had almost been the end of her instead. She didn’t want to make the same mistake when it came to Charlie. Her desire for him made it hard to see things clearly. She was starting to see that now.
Chapter Thirteen
Charlie was on a roller coaster. For a moment there, several moments actually, he’d thought that he would get a chance at Celeste. It wasn’t what he was supposed to be doing, but he’d just felt it was going to happen, could feel it in his bones. Then she had changed her mind, switched off, and he was left reeling from it all.
He slowed down about midday. She had been riding his bear form, and Charlie was not unaccustomed to the way of a woman. He knew that she was turned-on, much like he was. By the time they stopped, both of them were in quite a state. Celeste wouldn’t meet his eyes.
They’d stopped at a glen, with a small stream and many wildflowers blooming in the distance.
“It’s a beautiful spot you found, Charlie. Looks like it should be in a movie or something.”
“It is nice. It’s about halfway, so if we go hard the rest of the way, you will be home by midnight.”
He thought that would get a smile or something, but she was looking down and then off into the distance.
“That isn’t my home. I don’t know what to do. I guess I don’t really have a choice. We all have obligations, right?”
Charlie agreed, but a part of him hated all of the obligations and expectations put on him. He wasn’t including her in that now, but it didn’t mean that he wasn’t aggravated that everything had gone downhill. He still had to go back to the clubhouse and fix that mess.
“You don’t have to like it, though.”
She smiled and finally looked at him. The hopefulness in her eyes was there, and something else. Had Celeste had another change of heart?
Celeste sat down on the soft grass, and he awkwardly did the same. Charlie wasn’t used to sitting down on the ground. There was always somewhere more comfortable to go, but he just wanted to be close to her.
When she laid back, looking up at the sky, he didn’t know what to do. It took him several minutes before he was able to do the same. It felt so strange. It was the middle of the day, he had a million things to do, and now he was laying on the grass, wasting time. With her, though, it didn’t feel like a complete waste. It just was so different than what he was used to.
“You don’t seem like the type that does this.”
“What?”
“Relaxing, watching the sky.”
“This is something that the elders would do. They swear that convening with nature brings out the best of a person. It is only the old that thinks so.”
Celeste smiled, his eyes squinted to the sun, but he could still see her. She was relaxed, her smile sincere, and there was a peace that was visible that he was almost jealous of.
“Your species is very entrenched in nature. All of your power comes from the ground we are lying on now. Don’t you feel it?”
He chuckled and shook his head to the contrary. He wasn’t feeling any kind of peace at the moment. He was raging hard and in need. It was the only thing on his mind, and no vibrations on his backside were going to change that.
“No, I can’t say that I can. I am really not into this hippy-dippy stuff.”
She scoffed and sat up, her eyes blazing. “It’s witchy stuff. Now take your shirt off.”
He looked down at his chest. “Are you sure you want me to do that? Last time I had my shirt off, you couldn’t handle it.”
A sound of displeasure. “Don’t think so highly of yourself, Charlie. You’re taking yourself way too seriously.”
Charlie knew better, though. He could feel the need coming off of her. It was like an aphrodisiac to his senses, and it was hard for him to ignore it. He pulled it off quickly and watched her eyes take him in. He actually felt naked for a moment, like the witch could see all of him.
The witch. Had Charlie really forgotten what the woman was capable of? How had she gotten him on the grass with his shirt off?
“What? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
“Are you doing something to me now?”
She giggled, and he sat up. Charlie was nervous, and that seemed to delight Celeste even more than before. She covered her mouth and laid back down.
“No, calm down, bear. I haven’t put a spell on you. Is all of your kind this nervous around witches?”
“I don’t know if it’s you or the witch.”
Another laugh and Charlie was gritting his teeth, laying down on the ground. He felt stupid and was sure that she was doing this all to make fun of him or something. He waited for her to tell him that she was just joking, but when he tried to ask her something, she shushed him. Charlie wasn’t one to be shushed, but just as he was about to tell her off, he felt the vibrations that she was talking about.
“Are you doing that?”
“No, that’s all Mother Earth. You can actually feel her if you take the time to stop. That’s why you see so many of us on the ground. We’re picking up the energy. It makes us stronger. I am sure that as your elder’s powers wane, they can feel the difference too, even though you guys ignore it most of the time. You’re always drawing energy from it; you don’t pay attention is all.”
“So why don’t you have your top off? Don’t I always see witches running around naked in the woods?”
“Possibly. I didn’t want to make it uncomfortable for you. I thought it might be a distraction.”
Her face was getting pink in the cheeks, and even her profile seemed embarrassed. Charlie wasn’t against a distraction, especially one like that.
“You’re more than welcome to do what is needed to make you feel better. We are going to be here for a while. I can’t say that I won’t look, though.”
It took a minute, but she finally got up and dropped her clothes to the ground. Somehow, they came off in a big heap, and he was the one that was overwhelmed. The soft curve of her hips, the swell of her breasts, down to the soft brown curls at her apex. Celeste was made to be in that state, and he couldn’t keep his eyes off of her.
Celeste smiled, but it wasn’t knowingly. She was more looking at him sheepishly, like she was nervous to be next to him in that state. Charlie decided that she should be.
When she laid back down, he was tempted to sit up and see her full-on, like he had when she was standing up. He could see her breasts rising and falling with her fast breath, though, and that seemed to be enough to keep him occupied.
“So, do you feel better now?”
She agreed, and the serenity was back on her face; her eyes were closed, and Charlie was afraid that she had forgotten about him altogether.
“Should I take my pants off as well, you know, to get a full feel of the vibrations?”
“No.”
Celeste said it so quickly that he chuckled to himself. Indeed, he was breaking her peace, and he liked the idea of it. He didn’t want her to have any peace, not if he couldn’t have any himself, and with her next to him, it was impossible.
“Come on, I thought you said it would help.”
“I won’t be able to think straight, with your thing out.”
Now it was Charlie that was laughing, and she growled at him. Even her growl was adorable, and he sat up on his side, turned towards her and the body that was calling to him.
“Are you sure you’re not messing with me? How do I know that this isn’t magic?”
A hard thump was felt underneath him. It wasn’t at all like the vibrations that he’d felt before. This was hard and almost hurt a bit. He looked at her and could see that she was watching him.
“That’s magic. It feels different. It’s not as smooth and natural. Magic is that energy pent up and transformed. It will never feel as graceful or natural.”
He agreed, trying to keep his eyes on hers. It was almost impossible, though.
His eyes kept falling to the rest of her, the part of her that was opened up to him and taking all of his attention.
“You really are beautiful, Celeste. Any man would be lucky to have you.”
She turned to him.
“And you’re thinking that man could, be you?”
Surprise filled him. She wasn’t sounding so innocent anymore.
“Could be, if that’s what you wanted.”
“What if I just wanted one day with you, one time? Would that be enough?”
He moved towards her. “It would have to be. Is that what you’re saying because you shouldn’t tease me Celeste. I don’t know if I could take it right now. I want you so badly…”
Celeste hid her face for a moment and then sat up as well. His eyes were on the swing of her breasts and the innocent look that he wanted to demolish on her face. He was already there mentally, so if she wasn’t for real, Charlie needed to know immediately. He wouldn’t be able to put it off much longer, not if he thought he had a chance.
“I don’t know what I want, Charlie, but I know that my body wants you. When you’re around, I tingle inside. I think that’s a good sign, right?”
She was messing with his head, but Celeste didn’t even know it. He was already inside of her mentally, and when she agreed that she wanted the two of them to be together, there was no more stopping Charlie. He had to have her, and when he leaned in for a kiss, she took it, and he was reclining her back down into the grass.
Charlie didn’t know if it was magic or what, but when the two of them kissed, it was like the whole world shook underneath him.
Chapter Fourteen
“Is it going to hurt a lot?”
Celeste was worried about it. Her aunt and mother had tried to keep her away from boys, and they’d put plenty of nonsense into her head about it. One of the main things she remembered being repeated to her was how much sex hurt. Celeste wondered if it was true or not.
“What?”
He pulled away, and his dark eyes were holding hers hostage. She couldn’t have turned away if she wanted to. She kind of did. He had way too much attention on Celeste, too much for her liking.
“You know, sex. Is it going to hurt like a lot? Or is it not so bad?”
“Why are you talking about it like it’s something that you’re going to have to suffer through?”
Her eyes were elsewhere, not willing to meet his. She was already embarrassed to no end. It didn’t mean that she wanted to sit and talk about it. Celeste just wanted to make sure that she was able to handle it.
“I know that it’s not pleasant, even if it feels good right now, all the kissing and stuff.”
Celeste didn’t like the way he looked at her, like she’d grown another head. He kissed her, not answering her, and moved down her body with his lips ever so slowly.
Her body was shaking by the time he got down to the place in her that was throbbing the most. She wanted to ask him what he was doing, but Celeste was at a loss of words. She gasped when his tongue slid along the most sensitive part of her.
He licked and suckled for several moments, making her squirm, and Celeste’s whole body was burning up. It was like she had a sudden fever, if fevers were good. This was good, she knew that much for sure.
When he pulled away, asking her if she had any pain, she whined. She did have some now, his lips and mouth away from the part of her that needed him the most.
“Yes, it hurts me now.”
He chuckled. “Who told you that sex hurts?”
Celeste shrugged, not wanting to talk about it. She knew that his mouth felt good, but there was another part of him that she had to please. That was what was going to rip into her and hurt her. She was sure of it because she’d been told so many times.
“It doesn’t matter. I just heard that it hurt a lot, and I am not that good with pain.”
His fingers played on her core while she tried to explain to him how much she wasn’t ready for it.
“The first time will hurt for a moment, and that’s it. Only the one time and only for a few seconds. Then, it’s going to feel so good, Celeste, I promise you.”
She knew that he was asking for permission again, even though he already had it. Celeste had a throbbing in between her legs that didn’t make much sense. She was so wrapped up in the moment that she agreed, not worrying about how it was all going to feel. She was sure that it would be worth it.
“I want you, Charlie. Make me feel good.”
He kissed her, lining up his body with hers and then settling in between her legs. She could feel a hard length pressing against her, but there were still his pants that kept them apart. She was thankful for that, but even then, with it covered, it was still a lot of pressure on her body. She moaned and then whimpered as the pressure became more.
Finally, he pulled off of her and then stood up long enough to pull the rest of his clothes off. Celeste was watching it all with great interest, though it was the hard part of him that scared her the most.
When he came towards her, she was naturally moving backward, trying to get away from the thing that was surely going to hurt her. Celeste caught the humor on his face as he dragged her back to him by her ankle. The grass cushioned the movement and helped him get her there quicker.
“I have to have you, Celeste.”
“I don’t think it will work.”
He grinned and promised her that it would, though she was just as stiff, his words doing nothing to help her along. Celeste was trying to figure out what was wrong with her, but she didn’t know. She was shaking, and he saw it, slowing down while on top of her.
Another kiss was meant to calm her down, but Celeste wasn’t feeling calm at the moment. She was so nervous, and nothing was going to change her mind, nothing but the feel of him against her. This time, though, there was nothing standing between them: a big difference she noticed almost immediately.
There was heat emanating off of him and Celeste was watching the way he slid in between her lower lips, rubbing against the sensitive part that his tongue had been on moments before. Celeste was doing her best to focus on anything else, but her eyes were glued to the man’s member sliding in between her thighs. She knew it wouldn’t be long until he was inside of her.
Every pass that he made, Celeste held her breath and tightened up in anticipation. He tried to tell her to relax, but that just made her laugh.
“I want to start, Celeste, but you have to relax.”
“I can’t. There is no way.”
After a moment, he moved off of her and then laid down next to her. He motioned her over, and Celeste was just looking at the large meat calling to her and making her afraid.
“Come here, Celeste. You have to calm down, and maybe if you’re in charge, then it won’t be so intimidating.”
Celeste was unsure how it was all supposed to work, but she knew that she wanted him. She wanted the way he was going to make her feel.
He lifted her up and sat her down on top of him, his staff underneath her and pressuring her tight hole. It was bent back, but she knew that it was trying to move in. It had like a mind of its own, and Celeste sat up a little bit when it flexed underneath her. She made a sound of surprise, and that gave Charlie pain, from the sound of it.
“Does it hurt you?”
Charlie disagreed. “Not at all, though I am starting to hurt a bit from need.”
She didn’t know if that was a real thing or not, but Celeste needed more. She’d been on the edge of reason for a while, and Celeste knew that it was the anticipation of it all that was really making her crazy.
Celeste took him into her hand and then tried to sit up. She knew that she wanted it inside of her, but she didn’t realize that it was like a heat-seeking missile. She didn’t have to hold it at all, the piece of flesh seeming to know exactly where it was needed.
The wetness from his mouth and her own pleasure didn’t help the situation. Gravity was another factor that wasn’t taken into account, and before
long, she was sliding down on top of him, and she deflowered herself with a quickness that she hadn’t seen coming.
Celeste’s scream pierced the clear air, and her eyes closed as her hands braced themselves against his chest. She wasn’t moving, just trying her best to overcome the first initial wave of pleasure.
“You were wrong.”
“What?”
His voice sounded weird to her, and she finally got the courage to look down. His teeth were gritted, and his eyes were on her like she was the very last thing that he was going to see in this life.
“You said that it wouldn’t hurt that much. You lied.”
He groaned and grabbed her hips. “Just for a second or two, and then it will feel good. I didn’t lie. You just have to be patient. If I move too fast, it’s going to be too much.”
Celeste figured that was right, because she already felt like she was stuffed. There was no more room, and once she started to wiggle, his grip on her hips tightened.
“You can’t do that, Celeste.”
“Do what?”
Her insides clenched him, and he lifted her up, dropping her back down on top of him. She expected it to hurt, but it didn’t. It felt amazing. He wasn’t lying, she decided.
Though it was too soon to judge, because the way he was sawing in and out of her made her reach ecstasy so hard, it actually did hurt a little bit. Her body exploded, and for several moments, she was passed out on his chest, trying her best to catch her breath.
Celeste couldn’t believe how good it felt, how right the world was at the moment. She’d never been told about that. Celeste knew why. If she’d known that it would feel that good, she probably would have done it sooner. Way sooner, though she didn’t realize yet that it wouldn’t be that way with other men. What she and Charlie had was unique, and it would take Celeste some time to realize that.
