“Okay. You’re now on speaker. What is this news you have, Keegan?”

Keegan leaned up against the counter, crossed his legs at the ankle, and looked directly at Bristol.

Her eyes widened and there was a hint of panic on her face, but it didn’t last long.

“Hello, Mrs. Walker. This is Bristol Newton.”

Keegan’s chest swelled. He honestly hadn’t known if she would hold true to her word. But this was the strong, independent woman she had just claimed to be. It filled him with hope.

“Bristol? Oh, my. It’s so good to hear from you, honey.”

“Thank you, Mrs. Walker. Kaden’s here, too. And yes, we’ve got news.”

There was silence on the other end and Keegan imagined his mother holding her breath.

Bristol looked up at him, then over to Kaden. The instant she opened her mouth to speak, Keegan talked over her.

“We’ve got a question to ask first. Hold on, Mom.”

Keegan set the phone on the counter and went to one knee at the same time Kaden did, right there in Bristol’s outdated kitchen.

Bristol choked out a laugh which made him smile.

He’d always figured he would have some big speech prepared when he proposed to a woman. Something that reflected how he felt about her, all the promises he wanted to make, the future they would share, but as he stared up at her, emotion clogged his throat, making it impossible to speak.

He couldn’t believe they were here, at this point in their lives.

“Marry us,” Keegan rasped, swallowing past the lump in his throat.

It was then he realized he hadn’t even phrased it as a question.

  Oh, well.

“We want to spend the rest of our lives with you, Bristol Adrienne Newton,” Kaden tacked on.

From the phone on the counter, Keegan heard his mother’s gasp, but he was too focused on the tears that sprang to Bristol’s eyes. His chest squeezed and for a brief moment panic flared.

“We have a ring,” he said quickly. “But it’s just not here right now.”

“I have it,” their mother shouted, as though they couldn’t hear her clearly. “They left it with me for safekeeping.”

“It belonged to our grandmother,” Kaden explained.

  “My mother,” Sue Ellen clarified.

Keegan rolled his eyes, smiled. “She gave it to us and said one day we’d meet the one woman who would deserve it.”

“She was very proud of that ring,” Sue Ellen called out. “It outlived both of her husbands.”

  Bristol frowned.

Kaden laughed. “Mom, that makes it sound like she was married twice.”

“Oh, sorry.” Sue Ellen giggled. “No. She was married to twins.”

Bristol’s eyes widened and a tear slipped out.

  “Marry us,” Keegan repeated.

Bristol started nodding as more tears fell. “Yes. Of course. Yes.”

Sue Ellen squealed, and Keegan heard their father clear his throat. If he had to guess, his old man was fighting tears of his own. Gerald always was an old softie.

“We’re gonna have to call you back, Mom,” Keegan said in the direction of the phone.

“Oh, don’t bother, honey. We’ll see you tonight at Curtis’s.”

Keegan and Kaden got to their feet, glanced at one another, frowned.

  “You’re here?” Kaden asked.

“Last night when Keegan called,” Sue Ellen said, “I figured it was a good time for us to come down, check out the real estate.”

“You’re movin’ here?” Kaden asked, his voice reflecting his shock.

“Figured it’s about time. I’ve got a future daughter-in-law to get to know and a grandbaby to prepare for.”

Kaden’s gaze swung over to Keegan, his eyes wide.

Oops. He might’ve left that part out.

“I had to,” he muttered, looking between Kaden and Bristol. “I didn’t want them to hear it through the grapevine.”

“It’s okay,” Bristol said, stepping up to him and wrapping her arms around his waist. “It’s more than okay.”

“We’ll see y’all tonight,” Kaden told Sue Ellen.

“We’re lookin’ forward to it,” Sue Ellen replied before disconnecting the call.

“I love you,” Keegan said, peering down at Bristol when she pulled back.

  “I know.”

  He smiled at that.

  “Have you known all along?”

She grinned. “I had my suspicions.”

Bristol stepped out of his embrace and over to Kaden. “So, which room should we start on first? I’ve got a lot to pack up.”

When Kaden looked up to meet his gaze, Keegan smiled at his brother.

It had taken a lifetime, but they’d finally gotten to the place they’d always imagined they would be, and damn if it didn’t feel good.

  Chapter Twenty-Four

Bristol expected to feel out of place at Curtis and Lorrie’s. She was used to being here on most of her Sunday evenings for dinner, playing with the kids, hanging out with the wives, laughing and joking, getting her adult-time fix while getting some face time with the little ones outside of the daycare.

Tonight she hadn’t been certain how they would treat her, not only because she was with Kaden and Keegan but also because she’d been absent from these meals for so long now. But she should’ve known it would be business as usual.

No one seemed to notice the fact that Kaden had walked her in the door, hand in hand. Or that Keegan had been on her other side, his arm around her shoulder.

For some reason, being with them was as natural as breathing. Even in public, as it turned out.

Probably had something to do with the fact she’d wasted so much time worrying about it, fretting over something she didn’t have control over. If someone didn’t like how she lived her life, well, they could shove it where the sun didn’t shine. Bristol wanted to be that strong, independent girl that Rex had known when she was younger. She deserved to be that girl. And Kaden and Keegan deserved to have that woman at their side, not some withering flower.

Yes, she’d been incredibly nervous to see Gerald and Sue Ellen, her future in-laws. She’d met them before, of course, but never as Kaden and Keegan’s fiancée. Sue Ellen greeted her with a huge hug and a “welcome to the family” whispered in her ear. It brought tears to Bristol’s eyes, but she fought them back as best she could.

But the hardest part was when she came face-to-face with Wesley, Quinn, and Jared.

Her future brothers-in-law tried to act stern in the beginning, but they must’ve sensed her nerves because they gave up quickly when their sister, Eve, joined in and stood shoulder to shoulder with Bristol.

“Stick with me, honey. I know how to keep ’em in line.”

That prompted some good-natured ribbing between the siblings, Kaden and Keegan joining in the fray. At that point, Bristol had escaped to the kitchen to see if she could help Lorrie with preparations.

“It’s about time,” Curtis said when he came over to congratulate them after Gerald proudly announced the news to the entire clan. “Welcome to the family.”

“Thank you.” Again, more tears threatened.

“Officially,” Lorrie amended. “Because you’ve always been a part of the family.”

Yep. Tears were powerless against Lorrie. They fell unbidden, stopped only when Curtis presented her with a handkerchief.

And that was how it went for a good half hour. Everyone was congratulating them, excitement filling the air when Kaden proudly announced their additional good news: they were having a baby. Kylie, Zoey, and Eve took it upon themselves to start planning the wedding, promising they would get with Bianca so Bristol’s matron of honor could lead the charge.

After dinner, the kids were rambunctious as usual, even those who hadn’t had a nap. The only one who seemed somewhat somber and quiet was Kate. She knew Kate would come around when she was ready. Her parents were doing everything they could,
and Bristol was praying for the best. Tonight, Bristol had planned to simply greet Kate and maybe give her a hug, but the little girl had other plans.

“Miss Bristol? Would it be okay if maybe I helped babysit the baby when…” Her brows furrowed. “Is it a boy or a girl?”

“We don’t know yet,” she admitted.

“Well, it doesn’t matter. I like boy and girl babies. Do you think I could maybe help babysit?”

“Of course you can. Anytime your mom and daddies say it’s okay.”

She smiled and Bristol saw the little girl she’d known for so long behind the grin. Yes, Kate would definitely be making her way back. Sooner rather than later if they were all lucky.

Of course, the good times always came to an end. A lot of little ones to put to bed, parents who were hoping to catch up on some TV time or to go to bed themselves.

“We’re gonna head out,” Kylie said, stepping up to Bristol for a hug. “And don’t think you’re off the hook.”

  “For?”

“We figured we’d give you a reprieve. Next Sunday we’ll be giving all three of you crap, so be prepared.”

“Well, thank you for sparing me tonight,” she said, realizing she was truly grateful but at the same time looking forward to being part of the family.

“No worries. Now be good. We’ll see you first thing in the mornin’.”

  “I’ll be ready and waitin’.”

Before Travis, Kylie, and Gage could get their kiddos to file out the door, Kaden and Keegan were urging Bristol that way, too. She managed to get in a goodbye to Gerald and Sue Ellen, then Curtis and Lorrie, but that was about all she got before Keegan had her by the hand and was practically dragging her to his truck.

  “In a hurry?” she teased.

“I haven’t had my wicked way with you yet today.” He opened the passenger door for her. “Can you blame me?”

No, she really couldn’t. She felt the exact same way. Some alone time with both of them was exactly what she needed.

And to top it all off, having watched Keegan at dinner, the way he interacted with the kids… it had warmed her heart just as it did anytime she saw him with them. There was no denying the man had a way with the little ones. And heaven knew, Bristol had always had a thing for men who were good with kids.

Not that she was really thinking about that now, and certainly not when Keegan reached over and took her hand, linking their fingers as he steered the truck toward her house. The movement felt intimate, a sweet gesture she would’ve expected more from Kaden than from Keegan. They were vastly different in that regard. Kaden was the sweet one, the twin who thought things through, had a logical answer to nearly everything, while Keegan was the rambunctious, mischievous one, the twin who had a quick quip and liked to debate regardless of whether he was right or not.

She loved them both immensely and for those very reasons. And many, many more.

Bristol couldn’t not think of sex when she was around them. She wanted to see them naked, laid out before her. More importantly, she wanted to feel once again the overwhelming intensity of having their sole focus on her.

“What’s goin’ on in that pretty little head of yours?”

Glancing over, Bristol smiled, loving the dark rumble of Keegan’s voice along with the sexy smirk that seemed readily planted on his face at all times.

“I want to see you naked,” she blurted, keeping her eyes forward, knowing full well her face was turning a brilliant shade of pink.

“Is that right?” Keegan chuckled. “Were you thinkin’ right now? Or could I wait until I get you in the house?”

Bristol laughed. “I’m sure I can wait.”

They were quiet for a few minutes, Keegan driving, her hand engulfed in his. Even that little touch had her body warming immensely.

As they were turning into her neighborhood, Keegan glanced over at her and she realized she was staring at him.

  “What’s on your mind, darlin’?”

Shifting her attention out the window, she said, “I was thinkin’, maybe we could … uh … try somethin’ new.”

  “New?”

“Yeah. You know, somethin’ I haven’t tried before.”

She looked over despite her face flaming. She had never been this bold. Ever.

  “And what might that be?”

Bristol swallowed hard and managed to push the words out. “Double penetration.”

He peered over at her again. “You ever been fucked in the ass?”

Heat swamped her. Partly from embarrassment, partly from desire spurred by those dirty words.

“No,” she admitted, though the word was spoken on a breathless whisper.

Keegan’s eyes glittered. “Oh, for fuck’s sake.”

Needless to say, they made it to the house in record time.

  *

When Kaden pulled into Bristol’s drive behind Keegan’s truck, he wasn’t at all surprised to see they’d already disappeared inside the house. Hell, he’d only been a few minutes behind them, but if he knew Keegan, his brother already had Bristol stripped. Perhaps even laid out on the nearest flat surface.

The thought gave him pause, had him stopping on the front porch.

He smiled as he reached for the door handle, wondering if this was how it would be when they got her things moved over to the ranch. Would he come home to find Bristol and Keegan doing their own thing? Or vice versa, Keegan coming home to find them?

He sure as hell hoped so.

From the front porch, he heard Bristol’s squeal followed by her sexy laugh as it faded off deeper into the house. He opened the door and stepped inside, closing things up behind him and flipping the lock for good measure.

“What’s goin’ on in here?” he asked as he stepped into Bristol’s bedroom, stopping in the doorway as Keegan was hopping on one foot in an attempt to get his boot off.

“She wants me nekkid,” Keegan offered, moving on to the other boot.

“In fairness, I want you both naked,” Bristol clarified.

  “Yeah?”

She glanced his way and he could see the glimmer in her light blue eyes. Yeah, she was feeling feisty again, he could tell. He liked that about her.

He reached for her arm, pulling her against him as he peered down into those glittering eyes.

“I love you,” he whispered before brushing his lips over hers.

There was no hesitation in her responding, “I love you, too.”

God, that was what he’d longed to hear.

“She’s got a request,” Keegan announced when he came over to join them.

  “That so?”

  “Why don’t you tell him.”

Kaden noticed the way Bristol’s cheeks were turning a brilliant red. Redder than he’d ever seen before.

  “Tell me, darlin’.”

  “DP,” she whispered.

Just those two letters from her beautiful lips had the ability to harden his body from head to toe. His cock jerked in his jeans.

“She’s never had a cock in her beautiful ass,” Keegan supplied.

Kaden saw her face redden more, but she was still watching him, her eyes glittering with what he could only assume was desire.

  “You’re sure?”

She nodded, then inhaled sharply when her body came into contact with his, and he couldn’t resist leaning in and kissing her once more. But he didn’t linger, figuring these two had already set the mood and slow wasn’t on the menu. Instead of consuming her, Kaden released her mouth, then turned her to face away from him, pulling her back to his chest so Keegan could enjoy the show. Kaden let his hands roam down the front of her before reaching for the hem of her sweater and dragging it up and over her head, tossing it to the floor where Keegan’s shirt was.

It was quick work to rid her of her bra, leaving her topless, her bottom half covered by that sexy floor-length skirt. But it, too, had to go, so he dipped his fingers in the waistband, then pushed it down her hips.

  “Son of a bitch,
” Keegan groaned, his gaze trailing downward. “You’re tellin’ me you had no panties on the whole time we were at dinner?”

“You little minx,” Kaden whispered against her ear as his hands slid down to cup her bare ass while his brother moved toward them.

“Anyone ever tell you you’re a tease?” Keegan asked, curling his finger under her chin and tilting her head back.

“Not a tease,” Bristol countered. “A promise.”

His brother laughed, then dragged Bristol away, his arm banding around her waist as he lifted her off the floor. Her throaty laugh had Kaden’s cock throbbing. There in front of him, Keegan tossed Bristol onto the bed, then followed her down. Only he didn’t stay down for long, flipping their positions so that he was underneath her, his head at the bottom of the bed.

“Sit on my face,” Keegan told her. “And make sure you’re facin’ Kaden when you do.”

Stepping forward, Kaden offered himself up so she could brace herself as she straddled Keegan’s head. Her hands gripped his shoulders as she moaned softly. Her eyes were hooded, her mouth open in a perfect O.

“Ride his face, baby,” Kaden urged, leaning in and kissing her, swallowing all those soft, sexy moans.

Their tongues dueled, her breathy moans muted as her hips gyrated. Kaden filled his hands with her firm breasts, kneading them before tweaking her nipples.

She pulled back, inhaling sharply. Her head fell back on her shoulders as she cried out, her muscles tensing, nipples pebbled into beautiful points. Kaden took a step back, admiring how hot she was when she came with Keegan’s head buried between her thighs.

It wasn’t until Bristol’s head came to the level, her blue eye sparkling with desire, that Kaden got with the program. He was shucking his jeans when she climbed off of Keegan, crooked her finger at him, beckoning him to her.

Didn’t have to tell him twice.

Kaden moved around to the side of the bed, waited as she turned toward him. She grabbed for him then, pulling him down onto the bed with her.

“You realize we’re gonna take you at the same time,” he said, watching her face to read her expression.

  Bristol nodded.

“Not like the first time,” he clarified. “At the same time.”
