Andrea grabbed her pulling her into a kiss. As they broke apart he said, “That’s how I want you to look, all filled up with my bambino.” He grinned.

She slapped his hands away and started walking back to the table. “In your dreams you psycho.

Andrea watched us with a wide grin on his face. “She wants it. She just doesn’t know it yet.” He followed after her while the three of us watched Alessandro and a beautiful blonde enter the room.

Nathaniel took my hand and led me toward the table. “Come let’s meet the rest of the family."

And that was how my life started. I had met the people who had become a major part of my life just by the sheer love they had for one another. To the outside world they were bad people but to me they were just people who made fun of each other and laughed more than any family I’d ever been apart of.

Soon one dinner became two and then two became three. Italy had become a second home to us until it because home permanently. I was happier than I’d ever been. I laughed more, cried more because I was still pregnant, but my old life became a distant memory. I didn’t miss my old town or my old friends, but from time to time I did think about Reed. He was still my brother after all, and I did wonder what happened to him.

He wasn’t the reason I was taken like I’d originally thought, but I still wanted to kick the shit out of him for spending all my cash. Maybe I’d track him down after I gave birth or who knows, maybe he was already dead.

  Chapter Thirty-Three

  Epilogue

  Victor

I sat here day in and day out for eight months doing the things my father did while running his empire. Since I was the new king, there was a lot of fucking shit that needed to be dealt with, shit that took a lot of time and money. It was a struggle, but one I took on because now, nobody could touch me. I had an army at my arsenal and guns at my disposal, and if none of those were good enough, the money could always fix my problems.

In the months after my father's passing, I started to wonder what had happened the night he died. No one actually knew, since no one was allowed in his office at the time, but now that I was king, it was my office.

He and two guards were found dead in his room with one slave missing soon after. I wasn't stupid, had been in the game for many years, so I knew what had happened before I reviewed the video footage from his room that night. The man was too stubborn to let a minor illness like that take him out, and unless he had suddenly forgotten to refill his inhalers, no one could convince me otherwise. This was someone else entirely. Someone smart, attractive, and lethal, and who would do anything to escape the horrible hands she had dealt herself.

Sitting in the chair in my office, I pressed pause on my computer, the image in front of me freezing on her face. Clever little bitch, she used his weekness against him, shot two guards in the head and then made her escape without getting caught. I underestimated her, but now I wondered if she underestimated me. Did she think I wouldn't have found out? Did she think I would have forget? Or did she still not know who I was? I smirked pressing play. “Oh my beautiful, Izabella. You are a very naughty girl. I wonder how I should punish you first.” I smirked at the screen watching her face one last time before clicking the video off.

For six months I knew the truth, and for six months I let it fester, but now it was time to claim my prize. Revenge was a dish best surved cold, and Izabella... I hope you're hungry.
