Once they were lying together in the dark, Sebastian holding her tightly, with one hand on her bump, he asked, “Do you want to tell me what happened in your dream?”

“Not really,” Lita said with a sigh. “But I might feel better if I do. We were talking, and you told me that you wanted to name the baby ‘Beryl.’”

Sebastian laughed at this and told her, “Solid name choice, obviously. What happened then?”

“You got shot, right in front of me,” Lita said and had to work hard to try and hold back the tears that saying this threatened to cause. “You were dead, and I’ve never hurt more than that. You were dead, and I couldn’t bring you back. I was screaming, and I couldn’t stop. Then I woke up.”

  “Holy shit, Lita.”

Sebastian moved back a little, then encouraged her to roll over so that she would be facing him. He placed his palm on her cheek and leaned forward to kiss her softly.

“I’m here, princess. I’m okay. It was just a dream, no matter how real it felt.”

He kissed her lips over and over between words as he said it. By the time he’d finished what he wanted to tell her, Lita wrapped her arms around his neck and crashed her lips against his to kiss him deeply. Their tongues intertwined, and he pulled her as close to him as her bump would allow.

They kissed for a long time before Sebastian eventually stroked her head softly with his hand and said, “I know that I said I would have sex with you whenever I could, but you need sleep, princess.”

“I know,” Lita said as she kissed him again.

“I don’t want to take advantage of you when you’re obviously emotionally upset,” he told her.

Lita kissed him again. “I need you, Seb.”

Sebastian groaned. “You’re making this hard, princess.”

Lita laughed and reached between them, where she placed a hand on his erection. “Yes, I am.”

  “Fuck it,” he replied.

Sebastian placed his lips back on hers and kissed her as she began to stroke his erection. It felt like it had been forever since they’d done this, but she’d missed it so much. He reached his own hand between them and began to rub her clit until she broke their kiss to moan his name.

“I know it’s been a while, but under these new rules, do you still want to earn yourself ten thousand dollars?” he asked her with a grin on his face.

Lita laughed as he rolled onto his back and threw the covers off himself, his erection jutting impressively toward his stomach.

  “I don’t know. I don’t like my chances.”

“I tell you what, princess,” Sebastian said, angling her face toward his for another kiss. “I’m upping the ante again. I’ve fucking missed you trying to take money from me. It’s a million now, if you ever manage to do it.”

Lita rolled her eyes. “You’re crazy.”

“And you’re sexy. What do you say?” He raised an eyebrow at her.

“Sure, I’ll take your million dollars tonight.”

“Or tomorrow. Or whenever. Feel free to keep trying, princess. I won’t complain.” He smirked at her.

Lita laughed and kissed him again. “Get your timer, then.”

He got his phone and started the timer. Lita knew that there was no way she would manage the full ten minutes tonight, but she enjoyed trying much more than she usually did. Even though he started completely hard, she’d missed this too. Having him in her mouth felt glorious, and she kept going even when her jaw started to ache. Sebastian was groaning and stroking her head softly with his hand as she sucked him.

When she couldn’t manage it any longer, she asked, “How did I do?”

“You did brilliantly, princess. I couldn’t have asked for a better blow job. I’m very satisfied.” He winked at her.

“Well, thanks, but that’s not what I’m asking.”

“I know.” Sebastian laughed. “I just wanted to give you the compliment before I told you that it was only seven minutes and fifty-two seconds long.”

Lita groaned as he rolled her onto her back. “You only offered me a million dollars because you know I’ll never manage it.”

Sebastian placed a hand on either of her thighs, spread her legs apart, and as he looked at her, he said, “Maybe…maybe not. Either way, I’ve fucking missed this view.” He lay down on the bed, put his head between her legs, and inhaled deeply. “And I’ve missed your scent.” Sebastian traced the line of her vulva from the bottom to the top with his tongue, and Lita moaned. “And I’ve missed your taste.”

Lita was panting, her entire body was aflame, and she ached for him. She didn’t want to tell him how much she’d missed him too. Her guilt threatened to overwhelm her before it quickly vanished as he began to pleasure her properly with his tongue.

  “Sebastian,” Lita moaned.

He lifted his head and smiled at her, replacing his tongue with his fingers as he continued to rub her clit. “Do you like that, princess?”

  “Yes.”

“Good.” He lowered his head again and resumed what he was doing until Lita came twice.

Sebastian moved back up to her head and held Lita close while he kissed her. They kissed for a long time before he pushed her onto her back and entered her.

“Oh man, it won’t be long, and we won’t be able to do missionary anymore,” he told her as he held himself inside her.

Lita cringed, she loved this feeling of being full with him, but his words reminded her that she was breaking all the rules tonight.

“Enjoy your time on top while it lasts, Mr. Fox; we’re not meant to be fucking anyway.”

“You always know how to ruin the moment,” he said, but he was grinning as he did. “I’ll take what I can get.”

Then he began to fuck her, and all thought was banished again. After he’d come inside her, they went to the bathroom together to clean up. Sebastian grabbed the washcloth and squirted body wash onto it before slowly rubbing it over Lita’s body.

“I can do that myself, you know,” she told him softly.

“I know. Just let me do it, though. I’ve missed you, and I don’t know if you’ll be back to your senses by morning.”

  Lita laughed. “I probably will.”

He wrapped his arms around her from behind as he ran the washcloth over her breasts and dropped his head to kiss her neck.

“Then I should probably make sure that you’re very, very clean by the end of this shower.”

Sebastian proceeded to wash Lita from head to toe, kissing her occasionally and eventually using his fingers to give her another orgasm.

When he was done, he washed himself quickly and said, “You’re tired, princess. I should have let you sleep; I feel bad.”

“So do I; I wasn’t supposed to sleep with you.” Lita wrinkled her nose.

Sebastian turned off the shower. “Let’s go back to bed and feel bad together, then.”

Lita laughed as they got out of the shower, dried themselves off, and returned to the bed. She faced away from him as Sebastian cuddled in behind her and pulled her close to him. Sebastian kissed her head softly, and she fell asleep in his arms, feeling completely at peace here with him.

Lita was awoken by the sound of Hayden’s voice in the morning, “Seb, get up, dude, we have to go have breakfast. Oh, shit. Lita, I didn’t know you were here, sorry!”

“You could try knocking, bro,” Sebastian drawled from behind her.

Lita was grateful that she was covered by the bedsheets as she squinted against the bright morning light that was streaming through the doorway to the bedroom. She cringed internally at being caught like this and pulled the sheets a little tighter around herself to ensure she wasn’t exposed.

“I didn’t realize that Lita would be here. I’m sorry, Lita, I didn’t mean to wake you. We need to go down to breakfast.”

“It’s all good, Hayden.” Lita yawned. “Sebastian, you’d better get up and go, then.”

“If you want to come, I’m sure Gabriel won’t mind, Lita. We’re jus
t having breakfast downstairs in the hotel restaurant.” Hayden gave her a kind smile.

“Oh, god, no. I don’t want to intrude on the groomsmen’s day. I’m not even supposed to be here today.”

Sebastian kissed her cheek and said, “No, you should come, Lita. You won’t be intruding. Hayden, can you let Gabriel know that we’ll be there in ten minutes?”

“Sure,” Hayden said with a smile at them both before closing the door and plunging them back into semi-darkness.

Sebastian reached over and turned on the bedside lamp to give them some light.

“We’d better hurry up. Harrison’s a real stickler for timing, so if we said ten minutes, it had better be nine,” he told Lita with a laugh.

“Are you sure I’ll be welcome there?” Lita asked while biting her lip.

Sebastian smiled at her. “Yes, I’m positive, but only if we’re down there in less than nine minutes.”

He got out of bed, and Lita almost groaned; he was naked and semi-hard. Sebastian saw the look that she was giving him and laughed again.

“No, princess. There’s definitely no time for you to do anything with my morning wood, but do not think that I’m not willing to fuck your gorgeous ass later.”

Lita laughed herself as she got out of bed and started to get dressed. “I already said no anal, Mr. Fox.”

“You know that’s not what I meant, but as always, I like your thinking,” he said as he shook his head with an amused grin painted across his gorgeous face.

Lita couldn’t answer because she was bent down and trying to get her shoes on. It was surprisingly difficult already, even with a small bump in the way, but she managed it eventually.

Lita huffed as she stood back upright. “I have no idea how I’m going to put my shoes on when my bump is bigger.”

Sebastian smiled at her, and they made their way downstairs to the hotel restaurant. When they arrived, they were shown over to the table where the other three members of Cruise Control were already sitting. Lita was nervous; she felt awkward being the outsider that was intruding on their morning together, especially on Gabriel’s big day.

She was also aware that quite a few of the other hotel guests were watching not just the table where the guys were sitting, but also herself and Sebastian as they walked toward the table. If he was annoyed at all at her last-minute addition to their breakfast, Gabriel didn’t show it as he stood up and greeted Lita with a hug.

Gabriel said in a gentle voice, “Hi, Lita. It’s so good to see you again.”

“Hi, Gabriel. I’m so sorry that I’m here.” Lita wrinkled her nose as she took her seat. “Sebastian wouldn’t take no for an answer.”

Gabriel smiled. “That’s fine; I’m glad you’re here. I’m nervous as shit, and you can help keep me from puking up my entire breakfast.”

“Or, at the very least, give you a vomit bag if you need one.” Lita laughed and pulled an emesis bag out of her handbag.

Everyone laughed, and Sebastian said with a grin, “Who knew getting someone pregnant would come in handy like this?”

“Hi, Lita,” Harrison said from where he was sitting across from her.

“Hey, Harrison. How are you doing?”

“I’m doing fine. Nice work with the press yesterday, by the way; Heather was very impressed.”

Sebastian laughed. “Of course, Harrison was very upset to hear that you don’t want to ever sleep with him, Lita. Even if he won’t admit it!”

“Yes, it was very disappointing to find out that a foursome is off the table, of course.” Harrison grinned cheekily as he said it.

“I like your balls, Lita,” Hayden told her and frowned. “Sometimes, when they ask us that stuff, I wonder what the hell they’re trying to achieve by it.”

“Exactly.” Lita shook her head. “I’ve pretty much always ignored them, so I guess they got what they wanted from me. I’m a bit pissed that I gave them a reaction, but I was just so annoyed that they didn’t give a shit that Megan was there. Like, even with a sixteen-year-old girl there, they still want to talk about sex stuff to try and get me worked up.”

“Pregnancy hormones haven’t been kind to Lita,” Sebastian said with a smile.

Lita remembered the dream from last night and shivered. “No, they definitely haven’t.”

Sebastian leaned over to her and put his arm around her for a quick hug. Gabriel and Lita were the first two to go over to the buffet and get food. She got herself a couple of pieces of toast, as well as some bacon and eggs, while Gabriel only got some cereal and toast.

“I don’t think I could eat anything more than this; I’m so nervous,” he told her as they walked back to the table.

“What are you nervous about? Ariana loves you like crazy,” Lita told him as they took their seats again.

Harrison laughed. “There’s plenty to be nervous about still. I was worried that I’d say something stupid, or that Heather would—”

“Say something stupid?” Sebastian asked with a wicked grin. “Because that would be a real concern.”

“No, Sebastian.” Harrison rolled his eyes. “I was going to say that I was worried she might trip and hurt herself walking down the aisle or something.”

“She’d be more likely to say something stupid, though,” Sebastian laughed.

“He’s not wrong,” Gabriel said in a stage-whisper, glancing from Harrison to Lita.

“You guys do know that I’m going to tell her about this conversation if Harrison doesn’t, right?” Lita asked them with a smirk on her face. “Sisters before misters!”

Hayden laughed when she said this and said to her, “Please note that I never said a single bad word about Heather. I would never imply that she has ever once in her life spoken before she thought about what she was going to say first. She is wonderful and charming and definitely the best wife that Harrison has ever had.”

“Noted, Hayden. I will make sure that Heather knows all of that.” Lita winked at him.

They were all laughing as the other three men left to go get their own food, leaving Lita alone at the table with Gabriel.

She sighed and said to him, “Thank you for being so gracious about me being here this morning, Gabriel.”

“It really isn’t a problem, Lita. You’re a part of our lives now. I’m glad you’re here.”

“Yeah, Ariana said the same thing last weekend. I just feel a bit like Sebastian is forcing me on you all sometimes,” Lita said honestly.

Gabriel looked thoughtful for a moment, then he said, “I can see that. He’s not, though. I’m not a wilting flower; if I didn’t want you here, you’d know. I didn’t think that you’d sleep with him the night that you met, though.”

Lita was surprised by this admission and blushed as she remembered that night. “Wow, really? I mean…we were kind of hot and heavy right in front of you guys.”

“Oh, no,” Gabriel laughed. “By the time you were making out on the dance floor, it was obvious. I meant before that. Seb’s one of my best friends, and I’ve watched him have zero interest in any of the women that have crossed his path.”

“Would you believe me if I said that you’re not the first person in his life to have told me something like that?” Lita asked Gabriel.

“Yeah, I would. We all know it; he’s pretty open about it and has lectured us all on how he has no desire for a relationship many, many times. From pretty much the moment he met you, his interest was blatantly obvious to me, and I was very surprised. A few of the things you said in the limo, though, I just didn’t think that you would fall for his shit. You didn’t seem to be much of a fan.”

Lita rolled her eyes. “No, I definitely wasn’t. Sebastian already asked me, so I might as well tell you, but Hayden was my favorite member of Cruise Control. If I were to rank the four of you, Sebastian would have been last.”

“And was I second or third?” Gabriel asked with a raised eyebrow.

“I plead the fifth, and I’m really hungry and couldn’t possibly talk w
ith my mouth full,” Lita said and quickly put a forkful of bacon and egg into her mouth.

Gabriel laughed. “I see how it is. Anyway, yeah, the point of it all is that I can see that Sebastian is actually happy with you. I’m glad you fell for his shit in the end, because you’re good for him. That’s why I’m happy to have him ‘forcing you on us,’ because there’s never been someone that he wanted to force on us before. Also, because you’ve got that puke bag ready and waiting for me.”

Lita smiled at him. “You’re pretty amazing, Gabriel Knight. How do you get to be as famous as you are, look as good as you do, and not be a complete dick?”

The other guys were making their way back to the table as Lita asked this question, and Gabriel replied, “My sisters wouldn’t let me get a big head. Most of our families force us to stay grounded. I’m probably worse when I’m on tour because they’re not there to bring me down to earth, but on the Heart Wide Open tour, Heather would visit us and tell me to pull my head in.”

Everyone laughed, and they continued the conversation as they finished their meals. It was a very enjoyable time just sitting and talking together as they ate. After about half an hour, Harrison looked at his watch.

“We’ve only got an hour before the photographer meets us in Gabriel’s suite for the getting ready photographs,” he told them all.

“Really?” Sebastian asked, and Harrison nodded. “Well, if that’s the case, I’d better take Lita upstairs and…” He trailed off.

“Help her into the dress that Heather made for her?” Gabriel suggested with a raised eyebrow.

“Yes, that’s it,” Sebastian nodded and smirked. “It’s very difficult to put on, or so I’ve been told.”

“Such a helpful guy,” Harrison laughed. “Just make sure that you’re in Gabriel’s suite in an hour, or I’ll come get you myself.”

Sebastian saluted Harrison as he and Lita stood and left the table. They made their way out of the restaurant and into the elevator.

“How was that, princess? Not too awkward?” Sebastian asked her as the elevator made its way up to his floor.

“No, Seb.” Lita smiled at him. “It was fine. They’re all really nice. I didn’t even really have any fangirl moments, either.”
