Untamed and Irresistable Page 10

by Rosie Miller

The man used both hands to open her pussy. The girl seemed to shift and open her legs wider. Did she want him to touch her now? Perhaps she was getting turned on. The man pulled her lips further apart and Justine could see the pink wetness glistening. Then he buried his head between the girl’s legs. Justine’s own bundle of nerves start to throb.

The girl’s head fell back and her eyes were closed. She seemed to be enjoying this—even though everyone was watching her. Would she come in front of them all? How would it feel to be eaten out like that in front of everyone? Justine felt a flicker of excitement at the thought.

She heard something right next to her. She looked round—straight into a pair of yellow eyes. It was a dog, or wolf. It was big and it was only a few feet away from her. Her breath caught in her throat. She was paralyzed with fear. She stared back at it. She had no idea what to do. Behind it she could see more eyes—more dogs.

She tried to make herself stand up. The dog growled at her. She saw the tips of its sharp teeth. She tried to turn—but it growled again. She couldn’t move. She didn’t know what to do. Her heart pounded against her chest. She stayed crouched by the window—her eyes fixed on the big animal.

Bang on the window—get help. The thought echoed round her mind—but she couldn’t seem to coordinate herself—her hands felt like they were made of concrete. She slowly raised her hand to the window.

Before she could even tap on it, she hit the ground. The impact took all the breath out of her. She was on her back. The dog had leapt at her and knocked her to the ground.

She kept her eyes closed for a second, not wanting to see. But she could feel it. It was standing on her—she was pinned down by four big heavy paws—one on each shoulder and one on each thigh. She could feel its hot breath on her face. She opened her eyes a slit, hoping beyond hope that it wasn’t true.

But it was. The dog’s muzzle was just inches from her face. Its yellow eyes were looking into hers. She could see each strand of its grey and white fur and the darker rims around its eyes.

She felt sick with fear. Was it going to attack? Rip out her throat? Should she scream? She was breathing in little gasps. Her body was rigid. Was she going to die, here in the outback, torn apart by a wild animal? And there were other dogs there too, a whole pack, watching, waiting. They would all tear her to pieces and eat her.

“Please don’t hurt me—please don’t hurt me,” she whispered softly, her words barely making a sound in the cold night air.

The dog stared down at her and barked suddenly. She recoiled back from the sound. She closed her eyes tight as she repeated a prayer over and over in her mind.

The dog’s paws were heavy and digging into her. They were holding her down. She couldn’t move. Her head was lying on the cold earth—her last resting place?

She desperately tried to work out what to do for the best. She had to get a grip—she had to fight back.

Then the animal licked the side of her neck.

She froze at the hideous touch. Was it tasting her? Was it deciding whether to eat her or not? It licked her again—a long purposeful stroke of the tongue from her collar bone to her ear. Its cold nose nudged against her cheek and she opened her eyes, looking up at it. It watched her for a second then lowered its muzzle and licked her again. She knew it was going to eat her soon.

She had never been so scared in her life. She took in deep breath, ready to scream but the dog growled—a sharp, deep warning sound—and she stayed quiet. Perhaps it would just see if she was a threat, then leave her alone?

The animal dropped its muzzle again and bit at her shirt, pulling it sharply.

Justine gasped as a chunk of her top ripped right off. Was it trying to get at her heart? Was it going to rip out her heart to kill her?

The huge dog gripped the edge of her bra cup between its sharp white teeth and ripped the thin lace right off. Justine felt the cold air on her breast and nipple.

Please don’t let it bite me there she begged, not knowing if her prayers would be heard.

The dog was staring at her again. Its yellow eyes seemed to bore straight into her. It lowered its big head.

Justine tensed herself for the pain. Could she throw the dog right off and run into the lodge—or back to the car—before it attacked her again?

But it wasn’t sharp teeth or the pain of a savage bite she felt, but the animal’s cold wet nose against her warm skin. Then it licked her again. Its tongue was long and rough as it flicked at the exposed flesh of her breast. Then it lapped at her nipple.

She shivered at the feel of the animal’s tongue on her. The dampness of its tongue and the night air made her tender flesh taut and hard. It licked her again and again. Then it closed its sharp teeth onto her taut nipple and held it there, its tongue still lapping roughly at the tip.

This could not be happening. She tried not to think about the feeling of it licking her, squeezing her nipple tightly and the sensation of the rough wet tongue on her. It was disturbing and frightening—and wrong. It lapped at her again.

She knew it would bite her soon. Then she would feel nothing but pain and blood and death. She had to escape. She had to get away.

Another dog leapt towards her and knocked the first one away from her. She was free. She rolled over and got to her knees. The two dogs were circling each other warily, looking as if they might fight. The rest of the pack were standing back. None of them were looking at Justine anymore.

She scrambled upright and backed away. Her legs were shaking but made herself stumble to the car. She fumbled desperately to open the door and get in. Just as she was closing the door, she felt something pulling her arm and she screamed. It was attacking her again. She screamed again even louder. She pulled away as hard as she could and tried to slam the door.

  “Hey—Justine—it’s me.”

It was Jackson. She stared at him with astonishment and relief.

  “Move over. I’ll drive.”

She clambered over into the passenger seat. Her hands were shaking and her teeth were chattering with cold and fear.

She couldn’t think straight. But Jackson was here. She’d be safe now.

“What the hell were you doing here Justine?” Jackson’s voice was tense.

“I —I—my camera. I think I left it here.” Her tongue felt rubbery and it was difficult to speak. She was shivering. She glanced down at her torn clothes. Her breast was exposed and the nipple was taut and pink. She tried to cover herself up.

She checked all the doors were closed, then she locked them too.

“It’s not safe. You shouldn’t have come.” He sounded angry.

She nodded. He was right. It wasn’t safe. She nearly died. But why was he angry?

He banged the steering wheel with his hands. “You shouldn’t have come.” He repeated. “It was stupid—goddam idiotic!”

She stared at him. It wasn’t fair that he was angry with her. It wasn’t her fault that she’d been attacked. “Well I did come here. And I wish I hadn’t. But I’m all right now. You can go.” She tried to glare at him. She tried to look tough—but she could feel the tears building.

“You could have been killed.” He glared back.

She noticed how wild he looked. His hair was sticking up everywhere. It had bits of twig and leaf in it. He looked unshaven and crazy somehow. He had blood on his face and his hand. Had it only been a few hours since she’d said goodbye at the airport? What had happened to him since then?

“I’m fine,” she insisted, the tears filling her eyes giving a lie to her words. “You can go back to your…” She paused. If he was here—did that mean he had been at the orgy? Was that why he was angry? Had she ruined his fun with all those other women?

“I’m not leaving you. God knows what other trouble you’ll get into.”

He was being really horrible – just when she needed comforting. Well, she didn’t care. She’d be fine without him. “Get out. I can drive. I don’t need you.”

  “Don’
t you? Do you know what would have happened if I’d not turned up when I did?” he demanded.

She shook her head. She didn’t really have the energy to argue. She certainly didn’t want to imagine what would have happened next. And however horrible he was being, she didn’t really want him to leave her either.

He turned on the ignition and the lights and swung the car around. “We need to get out of here. It’s not safe for you.” He kept his eyes on the road as he drove quickly and confidently down the dark track.

Justine stared straight ahead. There was too much to think about—too much to take in. She leaned back against the seat and closed her eyes, but images of the huge dog filled her mind. The fear filled her again and she breathed deeply, trying to calm herself. She was safe now.

She opened her eyes and looked at Jackson. She could just make out his profile, his jaw stern and set. Why was he so angry? It was her who’d nearly been killed.

Finally they were out on the main road. The relief at being away from that place—the lodge and the whole valley—was overwhelming.

She turned up the heater even more. She was still shivering. She must be in shock.

Jackson drove faster now, the car eating up the miles. They weren’t going towards his hometown, she realised—but in the opposite direction. She didn’t care where they went—as long as it wasn’t back to that terrifying creature with its big teeth and deep growl.

  They reached a bigger road.

Finally, Jackson broke the silence. He sounded calmer and more normal now. “We need to get you to a hotel. Another sixty miles and we’ll be in a town.”

She nodded, happy to let him take over for now.

An hour or so later he parked in the lot of a small motel. “This will have to do. It’s the only place there is. But you’ll be safe here.”

“Will I?” Her voice trembled and she wondered if she’d ever feel safe again.

“You had a shock.” Jackson turned off the engine and it was silent and dark.

But she could see his expression was softer, more sympathetic now.

He reached out and put his arm round her and she lay against his chest. First, she just leaked tears, like she was overflowing inside, then she began to cry in earnest. The fear and the relief poured out of her in big gasping sobs.

He held her tightly, stroking her hair, rocking her a bit.

After what seemed like ages, her tears receded. Her hands weren’t shaking as much, and she tried to breathe slow and deep.

“Did you see it? A big dog, or a wolf or something. It knocked me down. I thought it was going to kill me.”

“I saw it,” he replied, still holding her tight. “I saw what it did to you.”

Justine shivered. What had the dog done? Had it been going to attack her or… She pushed the thought away. It was too strange—too disturbing. “Would it have killed me?”

“It’s best not to think about it. Stay here. I’ll get you a room.”

He got out and she locked the doors again behind him. She watched him cross the lot to the small reception and go inside. Then she was alone. He’d said ‘I’ll get you a room,’ not ‘us.’ She shivered again, trying not to let the image of those big yellow eyes staring at her back into her mind. She didn’t want to be alone tonight. She wanted him to stay with her.

Jackson retuned, dangling a key. She unlocked the car and he opened her door and helped her out, grabbing her bag from the back seat. He held her arm as they went inside, as if she was an invalid.

  “You’re still shaking,” he said.

  “I feel cold.”

“I’ll run you hot bath. You can have a soak then I’ll order some food. You must be hungry.”

She nodded. She didn’t feel hungry—just empty inside.

Half an hour later she was wrapped in a thin bath towel. She sat on the edge of the bed, eating her burger and fries.

She was beginning to feel more human again. She was warm. She’d stopped shaking. The big dogs seemed a world away from the cozy motel room.

Jackson had taken a shower and he looked better too.

She checked him out, hoping she’d not got ketchup round her mouth. She could see a bruise forming on his face. Had he been fighting?

“You’re my knight in shining armor again. Where did you come from? Were you in the hunting lodge?”

Jackson gave her a questioning look. Did he know that she’d seen inside?

Justine thought about all the naked people—the man getting blown—the younger woman who had seemed so shy and reluctant. What had happened to her? Had she climaxed when the man was licking her—with everyone watching? Justine tried to imagine what it would feel like to have your arms held behind you while someone’s tongue licked at you relentlessly. You wouldn’t be able to resist the orgasm, however hard you tried. The feelings would build and build until you had to writhe and scream in pleasure. Did the girl try to hide her face as she came? Perhaps once she’d climaxed she felt more relaxed.

She might have spent the rest of the evening making out with anyone and everyone. Or they might have held her down again while the man fucked her—and maybe not just him—maybe other men too.

“Sorry? What?” She’d drifted right off while Jackson was talking. She gazed innocently at Jackson, glad he couldn’t read her mind.

“I said I’d been out, hunting. I came back and then I saw what was happening. The dogs had a girl pinned down. I didn’t know who it was—not at first. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it was you.”

  “Why didn’t you do something?”

  He looked puzzled. “I did.”

“You didn’t. There was another dog. It jumped on the one that was on top of me. Then I got away. I was already back in the car when you turned up.”

“Oh –yes. That’s right. But—it was my dog that jumped in there.”

“Your dog?” She couldn’t help looking around nervously—as if he could somehow have smuggled a huge hound into the room without her noticing. “Where is it now?” She never wanted to see another animal ever again.

“Back at the lodge. I – uh −left it there.”

All this talk of dogs was too much. She didn’t want to think about what had happened to her. But she couldn’t seem to help it. The dog had been on top of her. It had ripped her clothes. It had licked her. “You saw what that dog was doing to me?”

  Jackson nodded.

“Was it going to attack me – to hurt me?”

He couldn’t seem to meet her eyes.

“Come on, Jackson. You don’t need to protect my feelings. What would have happened if you and your dog hadn’t turned up?”

  “It wouldn’t have ended well.”

She’d guessed that already. “But how? I’d have been bitten? Killed?” Just the thought made her feel cold inside.

“It could have killed you. But I don’t think it wanted to do that.”

Justine shivered. “If it didn’t want to kill me—what did it want?” she asked slowly, not sure she wanted an answer.

Jackson shook its head. “Sometimes they act strangely—around mating time.”

Mating time. The phrase repeated in her head. It had wanted to mate with her? She felt sick. Was this what they meant by a fate worse than death?

“The wolves get carried away sometimes.” He looked embarrassed—like it was somehow his fault.

“It might have tried to ‘mate’ with me?” She couldn’t believe they were having this conversation—and she couldn’t believe something like that had happened to her. She knew she should have stayed in the city, where it was safe.

  He shrugged.

She picked up her burger and took another mouthful, chewing it slowly. Something was nagging at her. She didn’t know a lot about animals, but surely that wasn’t how dogs mated? She’d seen them on the Discovery channel—there was no elaborate foreplay. But the wolf that attacked her—it had ‘undressed’ her. It had nuzzled at her and licked her—almost as if it wanted to get her interest
ed. She could still remember the feel of its long rough tongue on her breast and nipple. The thought filled her with disgust.

“But the way it did it—wasn’t that weird?” She couldn’t bring herself to explain that she thought the animal had been trying to turn her on. But Jackson must have seen what was happening.

“Like I said, the wolves can act weird around mating time.”

She shook her head. That wasn’t an explanation. Why didn’t Jackson think it was strange? But it was over now. She was safe. She was warm. She would never—ever—go back to the lodge or the valley again. Tomorrow she would take a flight home. And she could forget all this stuff ever happened. She felt a strange bubble of joy. She was alive. She was unharmed. And she was with Jackson. Suddenly she felt like celebrating.

She felt her towel slip a little bit, but didn’t bother pulling it up again. And there was one last thing she wanted to ask Jackson about. “There seemed to be a bit of mating going on inside the lodge too.”

“Did you go inside?” He looked anxious.

“No, but I looked through the window. I saw enough. Who were those people? Some kind of farmers’ sex-addicts group?”

  He shrugged. “I don’t know. I didn’t go in. I didn’t see anything.”

She wasn’t sure she believed him. “Are you sure? You might have enjoyed it.” Her towel slipped a little more.

He grinned at her. “Do you think so?”

It was her turn to shrug. She felt the movement dislodge her towel further. It was barely covering her breasts at all now. It could slip right off at any minute. And then she’d be naked. “Lots of wild sex with different people—what’s not to like?” She giggled, feeling light-headed and carefree. What did it matter—she was alive—she wanted to enjoy it.

“Really? Are you telling me you’d like it? You’d be into that? Everyone making out together?”

“I could be persuaded.” She could tell he didn’t really believe her. He thought she was teasing—but something about it did appeal.
