The handsome smile he gifted her with was as warm as the love radiating from his very being. Mathias was truly content, murmuring as he leaned in, “Of course you do, my love, and it's a good thing, too.”
Dazed by his deep voice, she rasped, “Saying you're never letting me go?”
“Never,” he enunciated, a wave of possession washing over her as their lips met. “I'm yours, and I'm keeping you.”
Isadora grinned, wishing she had the words to tell him how much that pleased her, but it didn't really matter. She knew he could feel it, and stated instead, “As long as it's for eternity, I won't complain.”
Chuckling, the vampire nuzzled her neck, sending shivers of delight through her body with his loving response.
“Eternity isn't long enough, sweet fae, and gods know I'll love you so much longer … .”

This past year has been a huge roller coaster ride for me. So much happened in a short span of time that it really impeded my ability to write as consistently as I normally do. But with the support of family and friends, I managed to complete this story, and now I can only hope that Isadora and Mathias have been enjoyable to read about!
