Fake Fiancée Truly Angel: A Billionaire and Virgin Romance Page 7

by Claire Angel

Her angelic laugh echoes through my mind like damn broken record player. I remember touching her soft creamy skin that sent warmth throughout my whole body igniting a flaming want for her. I groaned as I just realized that I sounded like a lovesick puppy.

Then my mind started wondering why she didn’t sleep with me and just the thought of her in love with another sent me into a deep rage of anger. Just the thought of some other guy touching her. Touching what’s mine! I knew I was shaking with anger. But I couldn’t help it, I felt possessive over her.

Just imagining her coming home to some other guy made me even angrier. Touching her waist, touching her neck, kissing those kissable innocent lips.

  She’s mine!

“Sir?” My secretary finally noticed that I wasn’t listening to him. He also looked terrified as I was seething.

“Cancel all my appointments today,” I snapped as I stood up and started walking out of my office but before my secretary could object I was already on my way to the marketing department.

What’s this woman doing to me?

Is she some kind of witch that casted me upon her spell?

Ever since last night, every breath I took felt like a new day. She made me feel absolutely free and at the same time she had me wrapped around her little finger.

No other girl made me feel such depths of my heart. What does she have that no other girl has?

When I entered the floor to the marketing department, some employees stopped and stared at me since I never made my way here unless someone was about to lose their job. I see some of my employees shaking in fear but I felt determined. My whirled around in search for the brunette beauty.

I then faced a trembling young man staring at me like I was the devil himself. “Katie Simmons?” Instead of saying anything, the young man raised his trembling hand and pointed at a certain direction. I gave a thankful nod at him as I started walking towards the direction he pointed in.

Before I could call out her name I saw a young woman bending over the desk and for some reason, I instantly knew it was Katie. She wore a tight pencil skirt and her cute bubbly ass was facing me as she arranged something in the cabinet below. I groaned in both pleasure and pain since I knew that ass was untouchable… at the moment.

  “Katie?”

Catching her off guard. She yelped as she spun around to look at me. Fuck. She looked absolutely ravishing. She wore a white button up shirt with a few opened buttons giving me a small glimpse of her cleavage. Her beautiful hair was in a bun held by chopsticks and she wore big black rimmed glasses and it only made her even sexier.

I could already feel my pants getting tighter. “Hunter… Uh, I meant Mr. Maxwell.” She corrected herself. Clearly, surprised to see me here. I could feel dozens of eyes on us but the only thing that mattered was the young Bambi like girl in front of me.

“May I help you Mr. Maxwell?” she asked as she finally calmed herself and pulled her shirt giving me more access to her cleavage. I was completely under her spell and mesmerized by her innocent look. She was so intoxicating, it’s becoming addicting.

“Will you come to dinner with me?” I blurted out. I’m in too deep that there’s no turning back.

  Chapter 4

  Katie

Did I hear right? The Hunter Maxwell was asking me out to dinner?

I could feel my cheeks burn up and I don’t believe it’s butterflies anymore in my stomach because it feels like a zoo down there. My long time crush was asking me out but when it slowly sunk in that Hunter was asking me out, I knew I was nothing more than a conquest.

Hunter doesn’t do dinners with women. As far as I know. He was known to use women to his sexual desires and throw them aside like they were nothing. I couldn’t let him do that to me.

I gave him a polite smile hoping my kind rejection won’t cost me my job. “I do apologize Mr. Maxwell but I’m quite busy and not to mention I work for you. It would be inappropriate.” I have to think of more excuses, just in case.

“Okay… you’re fired,” he said emotionless. My jaw dropped as I heard gasps around the room. Tears were pricking my eyes. I’ve worked so hard to be where I am today. But the tears never came and my sadness turned sour. I frowned at him and said “You can’t fire me because I won’t go out with you! That’s irrational and immature of you.” Who knew I had such fire?

He smirked and I held the urge to swoon. “Ms. Simmons, it is Ms. Simmons, right?” he asked if I was single.

“What’s it to you?” I asked as I folded my arms. He chuckled and all I wanted to do was make a pillow out of his chuckles and cuddle it. “How about this Ms. Simmons, you can keep your job but you have to go out to dinner with me?” he suggested.

I have to keep this job. If other companies hear word that I got fired from Maxwell Industries by Mr. Maxwell himself, then I doubt I’ll ever get another marketing job.

“Fine,” I gave him a stern answer. He smirked and before I knew it he grabbed my hand and started dragging me out of the office.

“Mr. Maxwell—” “Please, call me Hunter.” He said.

I bit my lower lip as we entered the elevator. “Hunter, it’s barely three in the afternoon. I thought I agreed to dinner?” I pointed out.

“Why wait when we can start dinner now?” was all he said. I could be just one of his collection of girls but it doesn’t mean that I won’t enjoy the sensation of his warm hand holding mine. To be honest, he could drag me anywhere and I wouldn’t complain. I blame my hormones!

We arrived at a fancy restaurant and I’ve never felt more out of place with what I’m wearing. But the way that Hunter is looking at me, made me feel like I belong right where I am.

“So tell me Katie, why marketing?” he asked as he already ordered for the both of us. “Well… it wasn’t my first choice. But my parents thought it would make good money. I originally wanted to take up culinary but my parents don’t really agree with me.” I admitted.

“Yeah, but you’re an amazing cook. Even if I just tasted your soup and shake. They’re amazing! Almost better than my head chef’s cooking,” he commented and I knew that I was blushing. I enjoyed cooking but it was my first time cooking for somebody else other than myself. And I can’t tell you how much it meant to me when he said it was amazing.

“So you took marketing? You could’ve pursued culinary afterwards?” he asked. “I’m passionate about both actually. The more I learned about marketing the more I fell in love with it. I could always cook but I would love to do marketing for the rest of my life.” I said.

There was something in his eyes. A sparkle? And being here tonight talking to the man of my dreams felt so surreal. I was having the time of my life but as I thought that I wasn’t somebody special to him, it broke my heart.

Who am I to change the notorious playboy Hunter? The feared CEO.

But the more we talked the more I got lost in his gaze, his words, and his scent. He’s truly amazing than what the magazines tell me. When we finished our meals it was already six in the evening. As we walked out of the restaurant it was raining hard. I was getting ready to dash for his car but he raised his eyebrow at me. “What are you doing?” he asked.

My cheeks reddened as I said “Getting ready to run to your car,” he chuckled again and I mentally swooned at the sound. “Katie, they’ll bring the car to us,” he pointed out, and I wanted nothing more than the ground to open up and swallow me whole. How embarrassing!

He must think so low of me. I then awkwardly stood still next to him. When a young boy came up to us, “Should I get your car Mr. Maxwell?” he asked.

I was expecting for him to laugh and say “Yes, my date needs to learn such things.” I mentally groaned at myself.

“No need,” was his simple answer. My eyes widen but before I could look at Hunter I was suddenly lifted off the ground and thrown over his shoulder. I squealed in surprise by the sudden absence of the ground.

“Hunter! You can put me down!” I told him as he started walk
ing but he ignored me. “Hunter! I can walk!” I called out. But was met with him smacking me in the ass making me shut up. I could feel my whole face reddened at the thought of him touching my ass.

Suddenly we were both under the rain making me grip the back of his suit. He unexpectedly spun around making me squeal in delight at the adrenaline I was getting. His deep chuckles sent vibrations through his body making my body shiver.

I was then gently placed into the passenger’s seat of his car. And as he made his way towards his side of the car, he tried to slide across the hood of his car. Keyword: tried. He failed. He almost hit his head on the hood of his car but he quickly braced himself and fell off the hood of the car and onto the wet ground.

My hands flew to my mouth in worry but as he stood up and straightened out his suit even though he was drenched from head to toe, trying to play it cool. I then burst out into a fit of giggles. Once he was inside the car I could tell that he was blushing as he scratched the back of his neck.

“That was… embarrassing,” he said which only made me laugh even more. My stomach was hurting from laughing too much but as I opened my eyes I saw Hunter looking at me, lovingly?

I must be seeing things. My laughter died down as I realized how close we were. I could feel the heat coming from his body and his minty breaths hitting my face. His hand slowly reached behind me and pulled the chopsticks out from my hair making my wet hair tumble down. He then slowly removed my glasses making everything blurry but him. He was the only thing I could see.

“You’re truly beautiful,” he whispered huskily as he cupped my face with his large hands. He then slowly and almost agonizingly closed the gap between our lips. And once my chapped lips met his soft ones I felt the best feeling ever.

  Him.

My first ever kiss. It was much more than I could ever dream of.

His lips moved skillfully on mine. I, on the other hand, have no idea what to do. Like the awkward person I am, I moved my lips along with his. I could hear him groan as the kiss deepened.

Fireworks were setting in my mind as my stomach were in knots. It was truly an unfamiliar feeling but, oh my, was it addicting.

His tongue licked my bottom lip eliciting a gasp from me and he took the opportunity to slip in his tongue. I simply couldn’t get enough of him. He was in every way delicious and I’m afraid after this kiss I would be painfully yearning for him.

Once I felt his hand traveling towards my waist I gently pushed back. Panting heavily as I laid my head on his hard chest. He groaned in annoyance.

He wanted more but I wouldn’t give him the opportunity to ruin me.

Besides, this kiss meant nothing to him.

  Chapter 5

  Hunter

Once again, my mind was filled with nothing but Katie. Yesterday, we shared the most intense and passionate kiss of my entire life. When she pulled away I want nothing more than to pull her back to me and devour her. She’s a tease I simply can’t get rid of.

“Damn bro, you’re whipped.” Cody commented as he caught me staring out into space. I wiped my face with my hands getting rid of my dream state face. “And she’s not even doing anything,” I pointed out. It’s frustrating how a girl can have so much control over me, and not to mention I’m the boss here.

“You know there’s a word for what you’re feeling,” he stated as he sat in one of the chairs in front of my desk. “Dark magic?” I humored but he suggested the one thing that didn’t cross my mind.

  “You’re falling in love,”

My head snapped towards my best friend who was smiling. “I knew one way or another that you’ll fall for one of the girls. Now you’re tasting your own medicine, and let me guess. By yesterday’s events, it’s not going your way?” he asked.

“Yesterday’s events?” How the hell does he know about Katie and I?

“Everyone knows bro! It was the whole building was talking about… curtesy to the marketing department,” he replied. I did cause a scene at her department and literally dragged her out of there.

But damn, it was worth it.

What I would kill just to kiss those soft addicting lips again?

I shook my head from such thoughts. I couldn’t afford to fall in love. Love is just a weakness which is why I use women to my own desire and cut all ties once I’m done. It was simple and easy. But Katie makes everything so difficult.

“I don’t understand her man… At first, she’s so alluring and she shows that she’s enjoying my company but she won’t go to the next level with me. She’s so frustrating!” I said as I ran my hands through my hair, messing up my neatly brushed hair.

“Heck, if I was a girl and I knew your reputation then I would definitely not go to the next level with you,” Cody said which made me look at him saying not helping.

“Just show off your smoldering smile at her and she’ll succumb to you like every other girl,” he says.

“That’s the thing Cody,” I said, now I was pacing back and forth in my office. “I can get any girl I want with just a flash of a smile… But lately, I’ve been finding myself smiling at the same girl,” I suddenly realized how much Katie truly means to me.

Cody shook his head and said “You’re without a doubt completely whipped by Katie,” he says it like I was going to die or something. “Dude! You love her. Just go tell her.” He urged on.

“Like hell I’m in love,” I won’t allow myself to succumb to the pleasures of love. I can’t afford to be weak. Cody scoffed and mumbled to himself “Damn you’re stubborn,” like I couldn’t hear him.

“Then can you just sit here acting all mighty—”

“I am all mighty!” I told him.

He held both of his hands up in surrender and gently said “What I’m saying bro is can you handle sitting here and watching other men woo Katie, touch Katie, and be with Katie. All because you don’t have the balls to admit you’re in love,” he had a point.

Just by imagining any of those scenarios sent me into a blinding rage of anger. And just as if the great beings shined a light on the situation, I’ll admit it.

  I’m falling for Katie Simmons.

  She’s my kryptonite. My weakness.

“—Kissing Katie, taking her to bed.” Cody kept going but I shut him up by slamming my fists on the desk and storming all the way to the marketing department.

How can a small innocent girl make me fall so hard in just a few days of knowing her?

The marketing department was once again shocked to see me but once they laid eyes on me their gaze shifted to a particular brunette I wanted to see. I then storm up towards her and once she noticed all eyes were on her she spun around to face me.

She looked absolutely stunning with the chopsticks in her hair, black rimmed glasses, and cute blue formal dress. She looked at me again with her Bambi like eyes, and right there I knew I wouldn’t get tired of looking into those eyes.

“Hunter?” she whispered. Surprised that I’m standing in front of her. She better get used to it because I’m not going anywhere.

“You’re coming with me,” I demanded. I couldn’t find the words and I refuse to blurt out three words that every woman wants to hear, but Katie isn’t every woman. “Why?” she asked as she put down the folders she was holding.

But I didn’t answer her as I dragged her out of there once again. I didn’t care if I would be the talk of the whole company. It’ll make things easier for the men to know that Katie is mine.

I brought Katie to my penthouse and for some odd reason I demanded her to cook. And I sat at the counter and admired how she gracefully moved around the kitchen and cooked me food. She truly was an angel sent from heaven. Too bad I won’t share her with the world, the only time I’ll show her to the world is if she bares my last name.

While she cooked she turned around and timidly asked “Hunter, why did you bring me here?” my eyes narrowed at her like she was my prey. And if she allowed me then she’ll be my only prey for life.

  “Be
cause I want you,”

  Chapter 6

  Katie

My heart was beating so hard I felt it would beat right out of my chest. My palms were sweating and I could feel a drop of sweat trickle down my back. I shivered with delight not knowing if it was because the drop of sweat tickling my back or Hunter’s words.

  He wanted me.

As in he wanted to devour me in so many erotic ways possible? What’s so alluring about me that draws Hunter? My virginity? Does he even know if I’m a virgin?

I turned around and turned the stove off and just by the small gesture made Hunter’s eyes darken.

Hunter’s my first crush. First love.First kiss. And as much as it hurts me that I’m nothing but a piece of meat to pleasure for him. I want him to be my first. At least I’ll enjoy his touch and just be satisfied by that.

I get to have him for one night. He’ll be mine and I’ll be his for one night.

His eyes stared at me hungrily setting off a scorching need for him. My lips quivered as I said one word that turned him into the predator that he is. “Okay,” In a blink of an eye, he closed the distance between us and my body gave into him. He removed the chopsticks from my hair letting my brown hair tumble in their waves as he slowly removed my glasses.

He kissed me with a fierce passion that only made my greedy lips crave for more and more. When his kisses traveled towards my jaw and neck, I moaned from the heat that lingered. His skillful hands undid my dress and let it drop to the floor. He pulled back and pierced me with a hunter’s stare and I shivered under his touch as his finger traced the curve of my body.

My mouth hung open in a gasp. Self-consciously, I tried covering my body with my tiny hands. He pried my hands away from my body and said “Don’t ever hide your body from me,” He dragged his lips away from my lips and started traveling down my body eliciting goose bumps.
