Falling for Them Volume 3: Reverse Harem Collection Page 39

by Amy Sumida

“No need for thanks, my darling.” Doug picked up his wine. He swirled the burgundy liquid around in the glass before bringing it to his lips.

Jason crossed his cutlery on his plate and placed his linen napkin on the table. He reached for his glass of white wine. Reclining back, he crossed his outstretched legs at the ankles. “What should we do now?”

“I should probably head back to my room.” Aria pushed her chair back as silence overcame the table. “Thank you for taking care of me this afternoon.”

“W-what? Why?” Chad glanced to the others.

Each of her guys wore an identical expression, their faces were neutral, but their eyes screamed worry, which confused her.

Chad’s attention returned to her. “You don’t need to leave. We can watch something on TV or go out. Whatever you want to do.”

Aria’s head swiveled from one face to another. Her nose wrinkled as she pursed her lips. “Don’t you guys have plans for tonight? I would have thought you would have met some new people while I was away today.”

She bit her lip and clenched fists as she waited for their answer. It wasn’t a question she wanted to ask, but she needed to know. She didn’t want to be the one who stopped them from having fun on their vacation.

Doug set his wine glass down on the table. He stood holding his hand out to Aria. “I think we have some things to discuss. Let’s go sit on the daybed where it’s comfortable.”

He led her over to the far end of their water, facing patio. He helped her to climb up and sit in the middle while he sat on her left.

Jason crawled up to sit on her right. He took her hand in his, using his thumb to massage the back of her hand. “Why would you think we met new people or would have made plans without you?”

Chad returned to the patio carrying a light blanket from one of their beds. He tucked it in around Aria, who shivered, before lying on his side across the bottom of the bed. With his head propped up in his one hand, he snuck his other hand under the blanket to hold onto her foot. “Did someone say something to you?”

Her mouth opened, confused. The women said she was cock blocking them, and her friends confirmed it. Then each of the guys kissed her, but never said anything about what it meant. Adding to it, her argument with her friends over those kisses where they called her a slut and it was no wonder her head was spinning trying to make sense of it all. Why wouldn’t the guys have found someone while she was away? It wasn’t like she was a catch or anything. They hadn’t even pressured her for sex. Wasn’t that a normal part of a drunken holiday?

She sat there stewing and brooding as the guys shuffled their bodies in small movements around her, trying to ease their tension.

Doug lifted her hand to his lips. “Darling, what’s going on in that pretty head of yours?”

“Huh?” Aria turned to stare at him.

“You have us worried, darling. Have we done something? Anything that would make you think we wanted to be with others?” Doug placed a gentle kiss on the back of her hand.

“You guys have been wonderful.” She turned to look at Chad and then at Jason before turning back to face Doug. “You have all spent so much time with me which I loved, but I don’t want to ruin your vacation.” Dropping her eyes, she stared at the weave in the blanket. She knew she should pull her hands from theirs, but it was their touch giving her strength to say these things. “I mean, look at the three of you. Women throw themselves at you and for some reason you seem to ignore them if I’m around. I don’t want to stop you from having fun.”

Chad sat himself up facing Aria. His legs outstretched on either side of hers. Jason and Doug both shifted, their bodies more in line with Chad.

Massaging both her legs, Chad waited.

Aria stubbornly kept her face down, not wanting to see the pity on their faces.

“Aria, please look at me, at us.” His voice sounded soft and pleading. “Sweetheart, you’re not stopping us from pursuing other women, we’re stopping ourselves.”

“We don’t want to spend our time with anyone else.” Doug’s voice matched Chad’s. He shifted his body again drawing closer to her. He trailed his fingers up her lower arm and started to massage the tense muscles there.

  — Jason —

Jason closed his eyes and pulled in air through his nose. His empty hand clenched into a fist at his side as his heart started to pound. He knew his story would help explain things to her, but it was difficult to tell. Slowly, he released his breath. “Love, do you remember when I first met you?” He waited for her to nod. “I was so stern and serious. You see, the three of us had made a plan, a promise. It was the only way they could get me on this trip.”

  Aria squeezed his fingers.

Drawing courage and comfort from her gesture, he offered her a small half smile. “We said there would be no women on this trip, but then Doug ran into you. When he didn’t get your name, I was relieved. I wouldn’t have to spend time by myself. We could still have our guys’ trip.” He ran his fingers through his hair pulling on the ends of his curls. “And then Chad’s intuition kicked in. He stayed behind to help you. When Doug saw it was you who was in trouble, I knew he would want to be close to you for the rest of the vacation.”

His eyes cut to Chad’s before returning to hers. He stared into her unblinking eyes searching…searching for what he wasn’t sure. Not wanting to dig too deep into his own feelings, he continued.

“I saw how Chad looked at you when he introduced us and I got angry. I knew our no women promise had gone out the window. But I wouldn’t have to deal with both of them having a girl around. No, instead I was going to have to watch them try to go after the same one.” Jason turned to reach for a drink. Finding none, he let go of Aria’s hand. “I need a drink. Anyone else?”

They all nodded. Jason stood up along with Doug to go grab some drinks from the fridge.

  — Chad —

Chad continued to massage Aria’s lower legs. “Are you cold at all?”

She shook her head. Lifting her legs over top of his, she slid her butt closer to him. “I think I need a hug, though.” Her voice, so quiet and hesitant, was nearly drowned by the crash of the waves.

He moved his hands to her waist and pulled her close. Her legs wrapped around his waist as his hands slid around hers. One hand caressed up her back, pushing her tight into his chest until it cradled the back of her head. She shook in his arms, and he wondered what it was about. The reason would have to wait. If they had any hope of this working, they needed to let Jason tell the rest of his story. It was the only way she would begin to understand what they were hoping for.

  — Aria —

As Doug and Jason return with the drinks, Aria pushed herself back to her original position with one small change. She needed more skin on skin contact with the guys. Instead of putting her feet back in between Chad’s, she decided to keep them overtop of his. Chad scooted closer with a grin.

Jason sat down beside Aria, but faced her. He took a few sips of water. His other hand found her thigh. He rested it there before continuing with his story. “I knew, looking at you, that I would be attracted to you, but I spent the last three years learning to shut that part of me down.”

Aria gave him a quizzical look.

He leaned forward enough to place the fingers from his other hand on her lips. “Hold that thought for now. I’ll explain it later.”

She nodded and kissed his fingers. Her one hand sought out Doug’s as her other hand pulled Jason’s fingers from her lips. She held both their hands on her thighs.

“I put my walls up, but snorkeling with you”—he shook his head—“you snuck under the wall. I was as hooked as these two”—he nodded towards Chad and Doug—“were.”

“But…” Aria started as she looked between the three. “What does it all mean?”

“Sweetheart, it means we all like you. We don’t want any other woman here.” Chad kneaded her calf muscles.

“So, I’m not cock blocking the thr
ee of you?” Aria’s eyes started to light up showing the first sign of life in them since she overheard those women talking.

Doug leaned forward, placing a kiss on the tip of her nose. “No, my darling, you are most definitely not cock blocking us because we aren’t looking for anyone.”

“We only want you.” Jason slid his body so he sat back next to her. He put his arm around her shoulder and kissed her temple. “You’re the only woman we see.”

Aria felt her heart soar. She wasn’t going to lose them, at least not in the next few days. She wasn’t going to have to watch them flirt with other women. She smiled as she snuggled into Jason’s side. “I am a little lost though.”

“With what exactly, sweetheart?” Chad ran his fingers higher up her tense calves, using his thumbs to massage them.

Her eyes fluttered as a low moan escaped through her lips. She snuggled closer to Jason loving the feelings of comfort and safety. The feelings overwhelming her as she lost herself to the bliss. “I mean… Oh, that feels so good. Mmmm.”

Jason bit his lip, but his eyes crinkled in the corners. Doug gazed longingly at her as he picked up his drink, moving around slowly on the daybed. The bed depressed under his weight as he carefully made it to Aria’s side without disturbing her. He lightly traced her cheekbone with the side of his finger. “What’s that, my darling?”

The corners of Aria’s mouth lifted at the feel of Doug’s finger sliding across her skin. She opened her eyes to stare at him through the bliss filled haze.

When she didn’t respond, Doug repeated the question. Aria’s eyes blinked as the fog cleared. A light blush rose on her cheeks as she stared between Chad and Doug. “I, uh, was wondering how the three of you could be like this?” She pushed herself off Jason’s chest wanting to see all three of them. “Is this a sex thing?”

She may have married early, right out of university with her Bachelor’s, and had a limited number of boyfriends in her past, but she wasn’t naive. Her ex was only the second guy she’d ever had sex with, but she was friends with Shona and others who were all very sexually forward. She knew about threesomes and gang bangs and orgies. None of them had ever appealed to her before, but looking at these three gorgeous specimens in front of her…the way they stared at her…made her body ache with wanting to be with them.

The three guys shared a glance before moving closer to her. Doug took one of her hands in his. Jason kept his arm around her shoulders while his other hand crossed in front of his body to hold hers. Chad stopped massaging her calves. Instead he slid his hands up her legs until his fingers encircled the middle of her thighs.

He squeezed her thighs slightly before rubbing his thumbs in small soothing circles. “It’s not a sex thing. At least not now.” He chuckled as a half smile rose to his lips. “Although, I can’t deny that sex wasn’t the focus when we first thought of this back in high school.” His eyes closed; lost in the memory. “We were some geeky, awkward guys back then.”

“Speak for yourself,” muttered Doug, “I was a jock, not geeky.” He turned his head slightly so he could wink at Aria.

“You may have been a jock like Chad, but you were still geeky, Doug.” Jason lifted his hand from Aria’s shoulder and punched Doug. He chuckled. “I agree, we were so awkward and geeky.” He turned to Aria. “We will have to show you pictures of us in high school later.”

Aria chuckled, but she couldn’t see it. She knew jocks in high school, had even dated one, but she would have never described them as geeky or awkward.

“I see you don’t believe me, but the pictures will prove it.” Chad smiled indulgently as he scooted a little closer causing his hands to slide a little higher on her thighs. “We thought we were so cool. Girls trying to hang with us all the time, but the truth was we were all so focused on the future, Doug with his football, Jason with his computers, and me with medical studies, that we didn’t really date much, making us awkward around girls.”

Doug laughed a deep belly laugh. “Shit, I remember the day we first brought up the idea of sharing a girl like it was yesterday. We all got so hard talking about it that we had to take a plunge in your”—he motioned towards Chad—“unheated pool. The look on your mother’s face…” He laughed until tears started to escape the corners of his eyes.

Chad and Jason started to laugh. “The look on her face was priceless seeing the three of us fully clothed in the ice cold water.” Jason shook his head.

“I’m sure she knew exactly why we were in there. I was subjected to another sex talk by my dad that night.” Chad rolled his eyes.

Aria sniggered. It was heartwarming to see these three friends reminiscing like they were. The hurt, a constant lingering presence in their eyes, completely disappeared leaving them more breathtaking than they were before. She wanted to ask them questions, but hesitated, not wanting to break the spell.

Jason’s hand moved to play with the back of her neck. “Weren’t we lamenting the fact we were all still virgins and had no real prospects except for the usual well used girls who kept trying to get the football star to sleep with them?”

“Yes.” A shudder ran through Doug. “That was the one good thing my dad ever did. He bashed the rule into my head about not sleeping with skanks because they would just be after my money and fame.” He looked up at Chad. “Didn’t we figure you would be the best one of us to find someone who would be willing to sleep with all three of us?”

Chad snorted. “You guys were idiots to think I could do it.” He stroked his hands up and down Aria’s thighs from mid thigh to knee. “It never happened, but it didn’t stop us from talking about it.”

Aria was having a hard time believing that Chad couldn’t find them a girl. What had been wrong with all the younger females they encountered? Certainly, any of the teenage girls at her Nova Scotia high school would have jumped at the chance to sleep with the three of them. After all, he was only staring at her and rubbing her thighs, yet she wanted to jump the three of them. She bit her lip and shifted her butt trying to calm her racing hormones.

“But then we grew up and moved away from each other.” The sadness returned to Jason’s eyes. “Then a few years ago, life brought us all back together and now we are here”—he shifted so he could look Aria in the eye—“with you. Meeting you made us talk about the old times. It made us realize we still felt the same about sharing, but this time it wasn’t about sex.”

Doug leaned over, resting his chin on Aria’s shoulder. “But don’t think that doesn’t mean we don’t want to sleep with you.” He kissed the divot under her ear. “Because we do.”

Aria shivered as goose bumps climbed to the surface of her skin. Fuuuck!

Chad squeezed her thighs to get her attention. “But not right now. Island air is known for clouding peoples’ minds and we don’t want you to regret anything.”

Aria nodded. Despite her earlier nap, the stress of her fight with the girls, the seriousness of the talk, and the concerns and fears still running through her head, all worked together to zap what little energy she had.

She tried to hide her yawn, but Jason pushed her head onto his chest. He slowly caressed the side of her face as Chad continued to slowly run his hands on her legs. Doug held her hand and drew circles with his thumb. She relaxed under their ministrations as her eyes closed.

  Chapter Sixteen

  — Aria —

Aria rolled over from a warm body into another warm body. What the heck? She opened one eye and found herself eye to eye with Chad’s tattoo where it snaked over his shoulder and down across his pec. If Chad’s in front, then who’s behind me? Closing her eyes, she breathed in deeply smelling the woodsy musk of Chad and the slight peppermint scent of Jason. The slightest hint of sandalwood drifted from Doug’s position in the far bed. So, Chad and Jason, but it still doesn’t explain how.

“Good morning, sweetheart.” Chad’s voice growly with sleep washed over her as his hand skimmed her upper arm to her shoulder.

  “Morning,” sh
e replied. The bed shifted behind her.

Sliding his arm around her waist from behind, Jason nestled in behind her. Her eyes rolled back at the feel of his lips ghosting over the smooth skin of her shoulder. “Morning, love.” He kissed her again trailing his tongue along the back edge of her shoulder and neck.

Hands sliding up to cup her cheek, Chad’s lips descended, meeting hers. Sighing at the exquisite pressure of his lips, she opened her mouth, eagerly anticipating the sweep of his tongue. The idea of morning breath never crossed her mind, not after being married before. She met his tongue thrust for thrust. The banked heat from their conversation the night before roared back into life. Hormones on overdrive her good sense as the caress of two sets of lips slid across her skin and ignited a passion completely foreign to her.

  No wonder people have threesomes.

Biting softly on the side of her neck, Jason sucked the lobe of her ear into his mouth. His erection nestled between the globes of her ass.

Chad’s tongue slid alongside hers as he pulled it from her mouth. His hands led the way as his lips followed their path down the side of neck. Her breathing sped up.

Propping himself up, Jason angled his head, kissing along her cheek and driving her crazy.

Unable to hold back, Aria turned her head, meeting Jason’s lips, moaning when they connected. But she wasn’t sure if the moan was from the softness of his lips or the slide of Chad’s mouth and tongue playing along her collarbone. Either way she didn’t care as Chad’s mouth slipped lower. His lips placing tiny kisses in an arc…my scar. He’s kissing my defibrillator scar. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head behind her closed lids. Her ex hated the sight of her scars; the reason why she wore them proudly on display. But to have someone kiss them…fuck… a life altering experience.

Her mind spiraled. Chad. Jason. Kissing. Scars. Sex? Her body stiffened under the onslaught of confusion and fear. They were only here for ten days and it was already day seven. At the end of the trip they’d go their separate ways. The idea of leaving them nearly left her gasping for air.
