Resurrecting Her (Revive Series Book 2)
When I was kidnapped, half-truths were shared by the monster who took me. Half-truths that tested the bounds of my relationship.
A web of lies obliterated my last shred of security.
The man I love vows to protect me from both our demons, but in doing so, he treats me like glass.
I hold the secrets this time. They’re slowly destroying me from the inside; igniting in me a fight for righteousness, even if that means leaving behind the ones I love.
Travis is still out there. Watching me. Waiting. And even though he’s dangerous, he’s not the only villain in this story.
The thrilling ride from Redesigning Fate continues in Resurrecting Her...
His Deliverance (A Revive Series Novella)
Five years before Redesigning Fate comes Holt and Brandi's story...
My alias is Brixton Holt. Using my real name could get me killed. When the
FBI needed a man undercover, I was the perfect candidate. Unattached and
an all-around badass. Two years of infiltrating the largest sex trafficking ring
in the country, I feel as dirty as the monsters I work for. That is, until she
catches my eye.
I call her Brandi. Her real name is no longer significant. She
knows the rules. Nobody leaves unless it's in a box--a shipping crate or a
coffin. My first mistake was following orders.
The second? Falling in love.
Revive: The Series
Acknowledgments
When Morning Comes was a blast to write. After I finished Unleashing Sin in March, it took me a while to decide where to go next. The new pandemic had my kids home from school on an indefinite “spring break”, and the uncertainty of 2020 hit hard. Social media became a dark space and one I wanted to avoid. To bring light into my life, I revisited Arrow Creek, and the story for Kiersten and Nathan was born.
I hope they put a smile on your face through any uncertainty you may be facing this year. That was my intention. I hope you loved their journey that is very off course from my previous books. Me: Co-author of Pitch Dark and creator of the deliciously dark bad boy Sin- writing a genuinely kind hero with an emotional backstory that he grew through instead of internalized? I know. It shocked the shit out of me too. If you’ve made it this far, first and foremost, I want to thank you.
To Alex, thank you for encouraging me through the first 20k of this book. You’ve always been my cheerleader no matter how much I struggle. Thank you for loving the words I write.
My new work wives: Jill, Anna, and Helen. I wish I could hug each of you. At a time when I wasn’t sure if I should keep on course, you three kept me going. Thank you for encouraging me and enjoying my words.
Grey’s Promotions, you were a pleasure to work with for this release. Thank you for all you do and how organized you are. This release has been incredible and I owe a big thank you to you!
To the bloggers who signed up to review, I am eternally grateful! This book scares me and you took a chance on my words. Thank you isn’t enough.
Patricia, you make the best graphics and that book trailer is FIRE!!! Thank you so much for your beautiful work and being so easy to work with.
To Tiffany, you made Nathan all pretty. Thank you for my gorgeous cover (also the recover of Where We Meet Again). I can’t wait to see what we come up with for Rhett’s story. You are a dream to work with and your art is amazing.
Jenny, my lovely editor. Thank you for putting up with me bugging you and for cleaning up my icky drafts. You work magic every time.
To my ARC team, you ladies are incredible! Thank you for taking the time to read my words and cheer me on. I’m so grateful for all of you.
Finally, my readers, thank you. Whether this is your first book of mine or your eighth, I am so happy you decided to take a chance on my work. If you enjoyed When Morning Comes, please consider taking a moment to leave a review. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
