“And with this child on the way…” My father pinned Jasper and me with an unreadable look that sent me back to my childhood; whenever I’d done something wrong he gave me that look until I fessed up on my minor crimes of taking an extra ice-cream from the kitchen. “Does this include marriage? Don’t think I didn’t notice that ring on your finger.”
“Oh, Dad. You haven’t changed a bit.
“Hun, don’t pester them, we just got them home for the week, I don’t need you to run them off before their stay with us is over.” My mother tugged me out the door and everyone else followed. “Let’s head to the dining room for brunch, and we will talk more about all this. Gosh, this is the best day, I couldn’t be prouder of you, Jasmine. You’ve turned out to be the woman I’d always hoped you would be.”
Looking back at Jasper as he chatted with my father while we walked, I secretly smiled to myself.
My life was complete.

Hello and welcome beloved readers,
I hope you all enjoyed my last contemporary romance novella in the Timeless Devotion series!
As of right now, I’m not sure I will be adding anyone to that series, right now, I need to focus on finishing my other RH series before I can really move onto anything else.
I do however have plans to continue writing safe romance, but it will likely be under Sci-fi for a bit.
Next year in 2021 I may write another safe, contemporary series, but I still have a lot of planning to do.
This book was a bit emotional for me. I dedicated this story to my beloved cats, one of which is sick due to allergies that have been causing hot spots, and the other passed years ago at a young age of 2 due to feline leukemia. My cats are my kids, and I have been wanting to write a story featuring both of them for a long time, but talking about animals that have an illness can be hard.
I do hope you enjoyed reading their story, I tried to make it a little different from my usual short and sweet since both Jasmine and Jasper are special to me.
