“So, I’m bringing nothing then?” I ask once more, giving him an out if needed.
“You’d be correct. I want to get you home and show you around now. You will see where you’ll be sleeping every night from now on.” He takes my hand and leads me out of the room.
I still didn’t quite believe this could all be this simple until I see my father looking at me in the sitting room as we walk in. His face doesn’t show anger, instead, he offers up a smile as we head toward the door.
I know he’s just trying to be brave for me.
“I want you to be happy, and if this is what’s going to make you happy, then so be it. If you ever feel the need to come back home, you can. I mean, we will still see each other for dinners from time to time.” My father tells me, rising up from his chair and walking over to pull me in for a hug.
When he pulls away, I can see the sincerity in his eyes. He means it, he cares for my happiness and if this is what I want, then he will support me in all ways.
“See you on Monday?” Jason confirms to my father, being sure to see if they’re on good terms at the business end of the spectrum.
“Yes, bright and early. No slacking just because you’re with the boss’s daughter,” my father teases.
Smiling at his comment, I’m relieved to feel the tension ease just a bit between us all. I know it’ll take some time for everything to be, well, not so weird. But one day, it will be normal just us all together in one room. I’m sure of it.
My father will always be family and thankfully, always a friend to Jason. I’m happy we can handle this all as we should instead of the silent treatment until someone breaks, and rest assure, it wouldn’t be me.
That would be my worst fear to no longer speak to my father, but I have a sense of relief knowing that’s of no concern as I step outside the front door with Jason by my side. I feel a rush of freedom consume me. How exhilarating it feels to be outside my father’s command.
“How does it feel?” Jason asks, opening up the passenger side door.
“Like freedom. Pure, freedom. To be honest, I feel more amazing than I’ve ever felt.” I didn’t even realize the tears sliding down my face until Jason reaches over to wipe them away.
“Good, because that’s exactly what you have, freedom. Now, no more crying unless it’s me you’re crying for.” He says, giving me a wink as I go to slide into the seat. He walks around to settle inside behind the wheel.
“Deal, daddy,” I tease, reminding him of how I haven’t forgotten about the name that he loves to hear. I’m not sure who enjoys the name more between him and I…
EPILOGUE
Mia
Not much has changed when it comes to my father, I still see him quite often. But at the end of every day, I know I’m going home to right where I want to be. I get to be in the arms of my lover, my friend, my daddy, and I don’t let him forget that I know what to call him when we’re alone.
When I arrive back home to Jason, I see that he’s waiting for me in our bedroom as he usually is. Tonight, I’m so tired that I’m not sure that I can please him, that I can do my job like he wants me to.
“Come here, tell daddy how your day has gone.” He whispers to me, holding his arms out.
“I’m so tired,” I tell him, almost giving him a warning as I get on the bed and into his arms like he wants me to.
“Even too tired to tell me how your day has gone?” He huffs, kissing me gently on the neck.
“No, I suppose not that tired.” I giggle at him.
“Good. I want to hear all about it.” He loosens his grip on me so that I can lay my head on his chest, feeling his hands run up and down my arm.
“We went out to lunch, and then he invited us over for dinner this evening. I told him that I was too tired. I postponed that for tomorrow, and he’s expecting you there as well.” I point out to him.
“Good, I always love how Gavin cooks.” He says, planting a kiss on my head. “Count me in.”
I thought that it was going to be hard to communicate with Jason at first when I moved in, but it’s been easy. He respects me like a lady as he should in public, but in the bedroom, in the bedroom he dominates me. He tells me what I’m going to do to him to please him.
“Now, how about you let me…” He lets his voice trail off.
“I’m tired, I don’t think that I’m going to be able to do anything tonight,” I tell him, nuzzling closer to him, showing him that I do love him.
“I was going to say let me please you. You’ve made me so happy over these past few months and I want to show you appreciation.” He whispers against my ear, using that harsh voice of his that tells me that I should obey.
I nod my head as I gasp, and he pushes me down onto the bed to have his way with me.

Book 6: Problem For Daddy
I stand at the doorstep of this immaculate estate, feeling ready as ever for my interview with Mr. Garrison.
I’m interviewing for an open position as his maid, which I certainly can’t deny the intimidation I feel as I stand outside these grand double-doors.
I could use the structure here, the guidance that Mr. Garrison can provide me. He may just be the man to help me more than he could imagine… more than I could ever imagine.
What I didn’t expect was to accept the job with let’s just say, more responsibilities than discussed, coming to find Mr. Garrison wants much more from me.
More than I’m willing to give…
I’m desperate for this job, but can I give him what he needs?
Is he just what I need?
