giant godlike hovering figure of Lordin with tears in his eyes and spoke.

“We were always taught, even by you that the pure magic of light and goodness would prevail, that good shall always conquer evil.”

“Yes you were, I, master Varias told you that many times along with your other magical instructors.” Just then Lordin somehow managed to extend his neck using dark magic and energy seeming to appear contorted, yet also appearing in two places at once. His face was right in front of the mage being dragged away. “I want you to be looking in my red eyes as I ask you this final question you pathetic human worm. Good conquers evil, yes?” The tear stained bloody mage nodded slowly. Just then out of the mouth of the second face of Lordin which was in front of the mage shot a sword out of its mouth instead of a tongue, instantly removing and eating the magi’s heart in the blink of an eye. It was done so quick the magi was still alive for quite a few seconds afterward, just before he died Lordin made him hang on even longer so he could mock him, “You read too many damn stories, good doesn’t conquer evil if you don’t prepare for it you worthless mage. Evil does not conquer good, from now in this reality those concepts don’t exist, only my will exists.” He was taken away.

Lordin telepathically told his army to move into the city and begin creating his new capital. The silent red robed army began moving into the city, floating right through any walls and barriers like ghosts as the screams of the terrified inhabitants filled the air. Lordin was pleased with the start of his plan to remake the magical lands. Nothing satiated his dark magic desire like a slaughter. The massacre he was leading at Kurlam was being replicated across the magic lands by mindless undead armies answering only to Lordin. The people were not prepared for such dark magic and evil deeds within the magical lands. Without a change in their perception of magic and its properties, no one will be left in existence to worry about such concepts. Lordin will not stop until the lands of magic have been destroyed and recreated in his image, populated with dark beings and magic of his choosing. If only master Varias were still among the people, he would know what to do.
