Finally, when the last shiver leaves my body, I lower Madison’s feet to the floor and then kiss her so deeply she won’t doubt how much I missed her. I keep it up until we both need air and I have to pull away.
“Wow,” Madison says, her head pressed against the wall. “That was…that’s what I expected our first time.”
“What do you mean?” I ask.
“You, using your size and strength to fuck my brains out,” she says with an actual giggle that makes me smile. “I’m not sure which way I like best. Can I choose both?”
“Hell yes,” I tell her as I kiss her lips again. “I want to make love to you and fuck you in every way possible.”
“Deal,” she agrees with one of the most relaxed smiles I’ve ever seen on her beautiful face. “For now, I should probably go give a speech.”
“Probably, Madam Mayor-elect.”
Madison grabs my face to pull it to hers for one last kiss, and then we both try and make ourselves presentable.
For me, that’s easy. I tuck my dick away and zip my pants, making sure my clothes aren’t twisted. It’s a little more difficult for Madison. I help her get her panties back in place and pull her skirt down. Then, she tucks her dress shirt back into them and pulls her coat on last.
“How do I look?” she asks.
“Gorgeous,” I say, withholding that her hair looks like what it is, a little sex tussled. It doesn’t distract from her beauty, just makes her more sex kitten than stuck-up professional. “Go give your speech.”
“Okay, I’ll see you after?” she asks.
“Can’t wait,” I agree as I slip out and rejoin the crowd.
I find my brother and Hannah sitting at a table, so I go and join them just as Madison gets to the microphone. Conrad looks at me and then at Madison, then back to me again with a grin.
“So, you two made up?”
“We did,” I agree.
Hannah gasps. “You did that to her backstage, didn’t you?”
“Yep.”
“You didn’t tell her she had sex hair?” she asks.
“Nope.”
“She’s going to be so pissed at you,” Conrad remarks with a chuckle.
“Yeah, I know. But she’ll forgive me,” I say as I watch my woman on stage give her victory speech to our city.

Madison’s first ten days in office are a godsend for the Savage Kings. Our new mayor took very aggressive action to pressure former Chief Bailey’s more loyal sycophants into getting the hell out of her way. The former chief was indicted on a number of federal and state charges, his arrest so soon after the special election making national headlines. With such a spotlight bringing all of his previous activities to the public’s attention, our business permits were quickly reinstated, and life returned to what I would almost consider normal.
Well, as normal as things can be with my twin brother preparing for a wedding, and his bride-to-be rapidly approaching the birth of their first child! Madison has brought what seems like half of her belongings to my house, taking over my bedroom and bathroom. Soon enough, I hope to drag the rest of her possessions over and talk her into moving in with me permanently. We haven’t really had any discussions about living together; the whole process simply occurred organically as our newly elected mayor showed that she not only belonged in the executive position, she belonged by my side every moment of every day.
All of the changes really hit me in the face at our next meeting, when Roman formally gavels us to order. As I look around the table, I realize that about half of my brothers have started to settle down. There is less talk of the parties we’ll throw at the bar, and more talk of get-togethers with the kids, at each of our houses. Even Nolan, former Nomad, and normally the most incorrigible of us all, seems eager to adjourn once things are back to normal, rushing out the door as though even he has somewhere he needs to be. I try not to give it too much thought; although for some reason, with things going so well for the Kings, I can’t help but feel if anyone could pop our little bubble of domesticity and normalcy, Nolan would be the man to do it. My vague sense of unease is not at all comforted by Madison’s words to me as we cuddle down later that night, and I tell her about my concerns.
“Oh, Cannon, baby, don’t worry,” Madison reassures me as she snuggles into my chest. “What in the world could Nolan do that would cause trouble for all of you?”
Her words, meant to settle my mind, keep me awake long into the night.
