I was transforming to human form once again. My WBM began shedding and I dropped to both knees. This time, I tried to welcome the transformation process, rather than fight it. It was still painful but it seemed this time, at least the pain would not leave me paralyzed.
I was once again naked, opening my eyes to an assault of sun rays, and beginning to blink quickly to acclimatize them to the environment again. I rolled over onto my back.
I contemplated what I might have done wrong to be stuck on this planet of all planets, ‘ND- Earth. To be a messenger is a great honor, but to have to answer to a name that is not mine might be a test of my strength. I was left without direction as to how to proceed. I sat up and looked around the compound. I am ‘JHS. My first course of action will be to find survivors and begin to rebuild.
