Crystal Lake Pack: The Complete Series: A Reverse Harem Shifter Romance Page 61

by Candace Wondrak

A growling sound left Forest’s chest, reverberating above me as he filled me up. His eyes were open, nothing but slits as he stared down at me, watching my reaction to him pushing inside me. His lips were parted, his breathing as rough as mine.

Forest took on a rhythm that made me squirm. Slow and steady, he took me not as a sprinter would, but a marathon runner, someone who knew that finishing first cut the journey down. Sometimes you had to go slow to relish it, to enjoy reaching the finish line. Forest and I were so close to reaching that line, I could taste it.

Every nerve in my body was on fire as Forest pumped into me, as he claimed my human form as his. The world spun, pressure building inside me as Forest’s mouth returned to my neck to nip and nuzzle, lick and bite. My chest heaved with breaths that still felt too small, like I could not fill my lungs enough. More, more, more. I wanted so much more. My hands found Forest’s side, and I held onto him, feeling his thick, solid muscles tremble as he took me.

The feeling of being claimed, being taken by Forest, was too much for my body to handle. Pleasure built inside me faster than I could push off, and it released in an explosion of heated bliss. My body shook, my inner walls clamping down on the dick inside of me. My back arched as a deep-throated cry came from me, my nails digging into Forest’s sides.

His arms encircled my head, his huge frame leaning down, relishing in the sound I made and the way my body tightened around his dick. He hummed as he picked up his pace, as he thrusted himself deeper into me, over and over until all sense and thought were lost.

Time itself ceased to matter, though it was a while before Forest lost himself to an orgasm. When the alpha came, his chest thundered with a mixture of a roar and a growl, his hips jerking, pushing his length deep into me as he marked me as his.

Forest was unhurried in pulling out of me, rolling to lay beside me, snaking an arm around my waist and holding me against him. “I’m not looking forward to you leaving us so soon,” he muttered, his muscles tightening around me, practically suffocating.

Suffocating in a good way, though.

A small smile grew on my face. I was certain someone would want to go with me, once Arthur and Zak got back to us, but I knew I would be leaving some of them here. At the very least, Forest would have to stay. He could not go with me, lest he leave the pack. Trust me, I wanted to be selfish when it came to him, but I knew I couldn’t.

“I know,” I whispered. “me either.” That much was the truth.

“The others are waiting outside,” he told me, and if I focused, I could hear them in the hall, too. Outside, the light of day was emerging, another day to revel in my mates and wish I didn’t have to leave to find my sister. “Shall I call them in?”

  I chuckled, nodding once.

  Forest spoke louder, “Come in.”

Maze, Dylan and Landon filed into the room, barely making a sound as their bare feet glided over the floor. Maze and Dylan had put on clothes again, but Landon was as naked as he was when we were together. My other three mates crawled onto the bed with us—it was a little cramped, but we all fit.

Maze could not stop smiling as he looked at me; Dylan wore a shy, but content expression. Meanwhile, Landon made no attempts to hide his nakedness, nor how tired he was. He let out a yawn, moving to lay on my other side, effectively sandwiching me between him and Forest while Maze and Dylan sat at the foot of the bed.

I met Maze’s smile, unable to stop myself from matching it. This was how life should be. Me and my mates. Me, surrounded by men who loved me, men who would do anything for me. Even with how bumpy life had been since discovering my true nature, since realizing I was part shifter, part witch, I wouldn’t trade away any of the pain.

These wolves were mine, and I never planned on letting them go.

Thank you for joining me in heading back to Crystal Lake. I really adore these characters, and I do have so much more planned for this world. If you liked the books, please please PLEASE leave a review. Let me know you liked it and this world is worth continuing. My paranormal stuff doesn’t sell well, so I only work on it between contemporary projects now. Only with reader word of mouth can that change.
