“He should be okay, but just in case.”
“Good, because that kid doesn’t need to lose anything else in her life.”
Her eyebrows pinched together and she looked confused.
“What?” I asked.
She shook her head. “Nothing.”
“Don’t give me that bullshit. If you’ve got something to say, say it.”
Her eyes flared with surprise, and then she replied, “Okay, why did you leave it so long to bring Monty in, especially when your daughter obviously loves - ”
And then the vet came out, interrupting us again. “Monty needs an operation on his face as he has a cat fight abscess and it’s been left too long to be able to treat it with just antibiotics,” he said, giving me the look I was sure he reserved for pet owners who didn’t look after their pets properly. “We’ll call you tomorrow when he’s ready to be collected.”
I didn’t have the time or the fucking inclination to check him on his attitude. “Fine,” I said, curtly, and picked up the pen Harlow had given me and filled out their paperwork.
Once I’d filled it out, I slid it back to her and asked, “What time tomorrow do you think it will be? I’ve got a lot on so it’d be good if you could give me a heads up.”
She appraised me, probably noting my shortness with her. I gave zero fucks about what she was thinking. A minute ago, I wanted to rip those jeans off her; now I had no interest in her judgmental ass. Stuck up pussy was my least favourite kind.
“You’ll probably be able to collect him anytime after lunch. I’ll call you to confirm that,” she replied, coolly.
I nodded once, and then said, “Thank you.” Turning to Lisa, I asked, “You ready to go, darlin’?”
“Yes.” She sounded anything but sure.
“Monty’s in the best place tonight. The vet will get him better and then tomorrow we’ll come and get him. Yeah?”
“Yeah.” That was better; she at least sounded like she believed me.
“Okay, let’s go, kiddo,” I said, and gently guided her to the front door, giving Harlow one last glance before leaving. It was a shame about her; my hands on her tits would have been a spectacular sight.

Acknowledgments
Eliahn, baby girl, you will never know how thankful I am to you for giving me the space and time to write this book. You are one amazing kid, and yeah, it’s a damn shame that you aren’t older and able to beta read for me because the instant feedback would have been awesome ;)
To my amazing family (and this includes those not related by blood because I think we’ve already established that you are indeed family), you all believed in me before I believed in me. And for that, there are absolutely no words to express my deepest thanks.
To my parents, have I ever told you how much I love you? Your support and encouragement in everything I’ve ever done has been unwavering. It has meant the world to me. Thank you. I love you both so very much. Dad, all the marketing talks we’ve had over the years paid off. Even when you thought I might not have been taking it in, I was. It was being filed for later use. And that time has finally come. You gave me a scare this year, but it pushed me into action. Mum, I know you’ve read 50 Shades but still... try to forget that your daughter wrote this book while you are reading it ;)
To my DBFFF, you fucking rock! God, where does one start to even say thank you for everything you do and have ever done for me? You showed me what unconditional love looks like. We’ve been friends for over 20 years, and there were definitely times there where I thought you would walk away from our friendship; that I’d pushed you just that bit too far. You showed me that that isn’t how it works. The one thing I would wish for every woman and girl is that they have a best friend like you; one who is in their corner no matter what. I seriously don’t know what women do if they don’t have a best friend. Oh, and babe...you can’t fucking write a book in a day. Seriously dude, what were you thinking? SMH. NFP.
To my brother, I’ve loved the last couple of years, chatting with you nearly every morning while we worked out how to solve the world’s problems. You’re another believer in me, and I thank you so much for that. In particular, your support over the past few months has meant so much to me. You let me chat books, and plots, and HEAs, and marketing, and every fucking thing else with you. You must be sick of hearing about the self-publishing industry by now!
To SL, one of us is overdressed and it ain’t me... I mean, really, who cares whether you’re wearing panties or undies?? Just get them the hell off! You, my friend, are a little bit of awesome sauce. I’m gonna put you in a book (in my head I am hearing Keith Urban sing ‘put you in a song’ while I type that).
NN, the day you walked into our shop was a good day, my beautiful friend. Never saw you coming, but you just snuck up on me and now I am so thankful to call you my friend. Thanks for your belief and support.
To my KICKASS street team, Levine’s Ladies, you girls make my day every damn day! I love you all. And I couldn’t have done this without any of you. Thank you all so very much for being a part of this. You will never know just what you all mean to me. xxx
To the amazing bloggers and authors who have supported me. You are all rock stars! Thank you for everything you do. There are so many, but I do want to just shout out to Jani Kay, Carmen Jenner, Hook Me Up Book Blog, Island Lovelies Book Club, Sassy Mum Book Blog, Sizzling Pages Romance Reviews, The Danish Bookaholic, Louisa’s Reviews, Sticky Reads, Give Me Books, Book Addict Mumma, Totally Booked & Natasha Is A Book Junkie. I also want to say a huge thank you to the amazing Aussie authors who have welcomed me into their group, given me advice and shared my book on their pages. What a great little indie community we have in Australia.

I’ve included this book in this collection in case you’re a Storm fan and bought this collection to read my contemporary romances. You may not have realised I published my bonus scenes and short stories in the Escape With An Alpha Volume 1 ebook, so here it is in case you’ve not read it.

If you haven’t read my Storm books yet, don’t read these bonus chapters yet!! These are all to be read after reading the books. Actually, you could read Locked Up Hearts before reading Gunnar as it is the prequel to that book.

If
you’re reading this book, it may mean you’re a Storm lover. THANK YOU <3 Seriously, when I first published Storm in November 2013, I never ever imagined the amazing journey I’ve taken in publishing three Storm MC series among other books. I am so thankful to you and all my readers for taking this journey with me.
* * *
I’ve recently published the last book in my Storm MC series, but I want you to know that doesn’t mean the end of Storm. The Storm men will feature in my upcoming Stone Ops series, and just quietly, a new character called Priest has come to me… he’s an ex Storm biker who left King’s club a couple of years ago… so yeah, Storm is always taking over my mind lol. I’m pretty sure I’ll never stop writing these guys! And also, I’ll still be writing the Storm group texts every week this year, so there’s that! And who knows where we’ll go after that.
* * *
I hope you love this collection of bonus scenes and short stories featuring the Storm MC.

J & Madison

This scene takes place between Slay and Sassy Christmas.

I killed the engine of my bike and waited for Madison to hop off before I joined her on the footpath. Watching as she smoothed her dress, I raked my gaze over her body. Fuck, my wife turned me on more today than when we met and more than the day we married. I’d never imagined it possible for a woman to get better looking as she aged but Madison did. Tonight, she wore a sexy little black dress that, as far as I was concerned, barely covered anything. It dipped at her cleavage to tease me with her breasts, it exposed her back, and only just covered the top of her ass in the way it hung. We were spending the night at Layla’s bar for some special event she was holding, but I was fairly sure Madison and I wouldn’t make it through the entire night. I was fairly fucking sure my dick wouldn’t last that long.
“Are we going inside or are we going to stand out here all night while you fuck me with your eyes?” she asked, her lips twitching with a grin.
I moved closer to her and pulled her to me. Running my hand over her ass, I growled, “We could blow tonight off. I could take you home and get my dick out.”
She arched into me, her hands coming to my chest. “God J, you can’t get me worked up before we’re about to walk into a charity event I’m helping run, because all I want to do now is—”
I cut her off. If I allowed her to continue that statement, I’d be putting her on the back of my bike and taking her home. “You think I’m the one getting you worked up here? I’m not the one wearing a dress that clings to my tits and ass, causing my husband’s dick to lose its shit.”
As I took a step away from her, she grabbed me around the waist and pulled me back. Kissing me, she said, “I love you, Jason Reilly.” Her voice was all breathy and her eyes sparkled, and God fucking help me, it only made me want her more. Christ, I was going to be in pain all night.
When she let me go, I said, “What the fuck did I do to deserve that, because whatever it was, I’m gonna do more of it.”
Shaking her head and laughing at me, she said, “You were just you. Honest and dirty. Just the way I love you.”
“I’ll make a mental note to keep that shit up,” I muttered as I put my arm around her shoulders and walked her inside.
“J, you don’t even have to make a mental note to do that. Dirty is your middle name, and I’m sure that even if you end up with dementia you’ll still be slinging filthy words at me because it’s stamped in your DNA.”
I chuckled. She had a point, but fuck, she brought it out in me.
The humidity of the November night was left behind as we were ushered inside Layla’s air-conditioned bar by the security Blade had organised for the night. Jess met us inside with an offer of champagne but Madison turned her down, as did I. Tonight I needed something stronger. It’d been a long, hard week and I needed something that would take the edge off.
“What do you think?” Madison asked as she surveyed the bar.
“You girls did a great job,” I murmured into her ear so she could hear me over the noise of the crowd. She’d helped Layla organise tonight and it looked like it was going to be a successful event if the number of people in attendance was anything to go by.
“I hope we raise a lot tonight.”
“Yeah,” I agreed, but while I hoped that, I was under no illusion it would even come close to helping the people they were trying to help.
She narrowed her eyes on me. “You don’t believe in this, do you?” she challenged me, and I groaned. Not because it wasn’t true, but rather, because I hated getting into this with her.
“We just think differently,” I said, willing her not to go there with me tonight.
Madison wasn’t one to walk away from a discussion though. “So you don’t think we should even try to help the homeless?” she asked, her eyes flashing more challenge at me. I loved my woman, and I really loved it when she got passionate about something. I just didn’t like being the one on the receiving end of it.
“That’s not what I’m saying. I love that your heart is big enough to want to help people you don’t even know, and I think it’s a good cause, but it’s such a widespread problem that stems from issues that run deeper than simply not having a roof over their head and food in their belly. Society needs to make some pretty big fucking changes to tackle this problem, so while I believe in what you’re doing, I don’t want to see you discouraged when your efforts hardly scratch the surface.” Jesus, I needed a drink even more now. I scrubbed my hand over my face as I waited for her response because if I knew my wife well, she would have something more to say.
She stared at me, silent, with no response for once. And then a smile spread across her face and she stood on her tiptoes to brush a kiss over my lips. “I’ll say it again, I love you, Jason Reilly.”
I raised my brows. “Fuck, that’s all you’ve got? You’re not going to tell me how many homeless people are on the street tonight or some other fact?” She’d been throwing facts at me for weeks now about the state of our homeless in Australia.
Shaking her head, she said, “No, I love that you’ve thought about this and I love how you look out for me and worry for me. And while I agree with what you said, I’ll just say one more thing and then I promise we’re done with this conversation for tonight.” She paused for a moment and I silently cheered for the end of this discussion. “We’ve got to start somewhere. If we all keep ignoring problems, they only get worse. So, yeah, we might only begin to scratch the surface, but even if we only help one person, that’s enough for me.” Her eyes shimmered with emotion and her voice wobbled a little, and that hit m
e in the gut. I was a lucky man to be married to this woman.
“Yeah, baby,” I said softly, “you’re right.”
Our eyes locked and the moment became ours; even amongst the noise of the crowd and the beat of the music, this moment existed only for us.
Fuck.
Desire lit my body and I wished I could grab her hand and lead her back outside to take her home, but I couldn’t, so instead, I told my dick to settle the fuck down and I grabbed her hand and led her to where Layla stood.
“Evening,” Layla greeted us with a smile. Looking up at me, she asked, “Can I steal Madison for a little bit to finalise some things for tonight?”
I nodded. “You need to, because if you don’t steal her, I will, and she won’t be coming back.”
Layla considered that, but only for a moment. Jerking her chin at the bar, she said, “Your drinks are on me tonight, J. Sounds like you might need a few.”
“Yeah, I do,” I muttered before roughly kissing Madison. Giving her my full attention after Layla left us, I spoke low so that only she could hear me. “I don’t care how exhausted you are at the end of tonight, your pussy is mine. And you’ve got hours ahead of you while I show you all the ways I own it.”
