CHAPTER 15
Jayna was done studying for her calculus exam. She figured if she properly recharged for an hour it would give her plenty of juice for the next twenty four hours. She didn’t want to waste time sleeping when recharging would keep her going better than sleep.
She couldn’t wait to see Ethan.
Going about her day, pretending to be a normal seventeen year old wasn’t easy. She had learned and witnessed so many extraordinary things in a few days that she could not help to wonder how her life would change in the next few years. She was inducted to a whole new way of life and in the process had brought several people from her sphere into this other reality. Pavlina and Ayshen for sure, and from the comment that Liam had made about Jayna kicking monsters’ asses, her little brother would be joining too. It was only a matter of time. Sir Arthur’s blood was running in Liam’s veins as much as it was in Jayna’s. Pavlina’s unborn child was a kindred soul from another lifetime. Things were connecting in strange ways. Jayna couldn’t wait to see how Hope would develop once born in the Earth plane.
Now that she knew a bit more about the rules of the Astral plane and how things could be manifested, Jayna wanted to try her hand at it with clothes. Ethan was quite content with having her parade around in her pajamas, but she would feel silly now that she knew it didn’t have to be that way.
Jayna wondered what she could wear that would be suitable for an Astral date. She never knew what they would be doing until she shifted into the Astral plane. Ethan would be waiting for her, just outside of her home. He was too much of a gentleman to come in without being asked. As Earthly objects appeared to be transparent in the Astral dimension, Jayna would see him as soon as she shifted.
He always wore jeans and a T-shirt and looked great in them. Jayna wondered if guys ever worried about what to wear to impress a girl. She had nice clothes that she wore to school, but they seemed hardly appropriate for fighting demons, swimming with dolphins or walking around meditation gardens.
What I have to do is come up with outfits that look good on me and give me the flexibility to do all the things I do in the Astral plane. I would feel silly wearing those long robes most of the Light beings wear. I don’t want to start showing up in my jeans and T-shirt, that’s what Ethan wears. I certainly don’t want to go in my pajamas.
Oh, boy! What to do?
Maybe I should sketch some ideas on paper.
I can’t believe I am spending this much time thinking about what to wear.
Maybe it would make more sense if I wear shorts and tank tops instead of pajamas, that way I won’t look like I am dressing up for him and there are a lot of design ideas I can borrow from online catalogs.
Having made that decision, Jayna went to work on her wardrobe. She Googled Victoria’s Secret and checked out their online catalog. She immediately felt great, an instant boost to her morale. She already owned some of their stuff so borrowing ideas for her Astral wardrobe from the catalog didn’t bother her.
Jayna chose an embellished halter bra top in rich purple for that night. She would wear a pair of shorts in a matching color. Now she had to figure out the transition. She would have to have a very clear mental picture of the outfit she would wear and visualize it on herself as soon as she shifted. It had to be a seamless transition. She wouldn’t want Ethan to see her in her pajamas first, then changed into another outfit.
Before shifting to the Astral dimension, Jayna showered. It would relax and refresh her. Her physical body would be all comfortable, while she spent the night in the Astral plane doing whatever was in the cards that night. It had not taken Jayna long to clue in that the Astral plane was all about spontaneity. There wasn’t much planning, they did what felt right and went with the flow, lived in the moment.
Jayna settled in her bed and pulled the covers up to her chest. If her parents came to check on her, she would appear to be asleep. Jayna took a deep breath, blew it out slowly and executed two steps in one smooth move. She used the sacred geometry to shift to the Astral plane while simultaneously she visualized wearing the outfit she had chosen from the online catalog.
It worked like a charm.
She heard a whistle and looked. Ethan was just outside her bedroom wall admiring her. His eyes were sparkling with love and adoration. She was beside him instantly. He pulled her into a hug and kissed her passionately.
Jayna gave herself a mental thumbs-up; the outfit had the desired effect on Ethan.
“You look wonderful tonight,” he said.
Jayna smiled, not so shy at all anymore.
“Thank you.”
“So, no more pajamas?” he asked with good humor.
Jayna laughed. “Nope.”
“You can wear whatever you like, babe. Everything looks great on you. I bet you’d look hot in a flour sac.”
“Thanks, but no, thanks. I am sure that would be pretty itchy,” Jayna said.
“Okay, no flour sac.”
Jayna wrapped her arms around Ethan and hugged him tight.
“I missed you.”
Ethan kissed the top of her head, inhaled the heavenly scent of her gorgeous hair.
“I missed you, too.”
“How was your day?” Jayna asked.
“Oh, it was pretty ordinary until you called with your incident at the pizza shop. How is Pavlina doing?”
“She is doing very well actually. I am amazed at the transformation in her. She went from love struck, to devastated, to hell bent on being a perfect mother with dizzying speed. She told me she wants to move out and have her own place before she has the baby.”
Ethan listened with interest. “Sounds like she got things figured out.”
“We had a really good talk this afternoon, after the incident. She’s made some decisions about her life. She’s planning the next few years completely around Hope; figuring out how to be a successful single mom.”
A smile touched Jayna’s lips, “She’s going to call her Hope. She is so full of love when she talks about the baby; it’s hair-raising.”
Ethan nodded. “It would be.”
“I was worried about Pavlina, but not anymore. I feel it in my bones; she is on the right path. She won’t make any mistakes. The only thing I am worried about is that she is totally turned off from the opposite sex; although she assures me that she is not. ‘When the time is right, the right man will walk into my life’, she said.”
Ethan pulled Jayna into another hug. He could not get enough of hugging her, breathing in her scent, taking in her beauty.
“I am sure that Pavlina will meet the right person when she is ready. You wouldn’t want her to get into a relationship on the rebound, would you?”
“No. I want her to find a man who deserves her and her very special baby.”
Jayna’s beautiful turquoise eyes misted when she thought about Pavlina and her unborn child who had become the center of Pavlina’s life.
Ethan cupped her face and kissed her, ever so gently.
“Did I tell you how stunning you are? You are the most gorgeous creature in God’s creation. I love everything about you: Your beauty, your loyalty, your compassion. You are amazing.”
“I love you so much, Ethan. I wish I could stay in the Astral plane twenty-four seven; to be with you all the time. Earth is a lonely place without you. This is where I want to be.”
The eagerness in Jayna’s voice pushed him over the edge into the throes of red hot passion. He kissed Jayna until she was trembling with excitement.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered in his ear.
“Love me.”
Ethan scooped her into his arms and transported them to a picturesque little cabin at the edge of a sea. Jayna didn’t know this place; the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. There were miles of sand dunes, the sea and the cabin, nothing else.
Ethan kicked open the door and walked through the threshold with Jayna in his arms. The Interior of the cabin was a master bedroom, its focal point a huge four poster b
ed in glistening dark wood.
Jayna looked at Ethan with surprise.
“A bedroom? For us?”
“Yes. I wanted us to have a place of our own.”
Ethan wasn’t sure how Jayna would react to his wanting to play house. What if she thought him silly? Did eighteen year olds play house?
“I love it,” she said. “Are we going to use the bed?”
He gently laid her on the silk bedspread. The material was the softest silk Jayna had ever touched.
She wondered if she could undress Ethan with her thoughts, still not sure what she could and could not do in the Astral plane.
She imagined his shirt off and it was gone.
Ethan looked at his bare chest and made the rest of his clothes disappear.
“I want to undress you,” he said, “with my hands.”
Ethan kissed every inch of her while he peeled away her clothes. Their blood boiled in their veins with anticipation. It no longer mattered whether they were in the Astral plane or pretending to be in a cabin on Earth. They were consumed by their passion. Fireworks erupted in the cabin.
Much later, they were wrapped in each other’s arms being lazy. “I love this place, Ethan. What made you think of creating it?” Jayna asked.
“Since we can only be together in the Astral plane, I thought we should have a place we can call ours. There are countless beautiful places in this dimension, I chose this quiet seashore. If you like mountains and lakes, we can build a cabin there too.”
“I positively love it; you’ve done an awesome job.”
“If there is something you would like changed; we can alter it. Just visualize it and the elements will rearrange themselves to your preferred form.”
“It’s that simple?” Jayna asked incredulous.
“Yep.”
“This is perfect the way it is. I love the endless beach and the sand dunes; nothing but nature, the cabin and us. Are there dolphins and other life forms in this sea?”
“Of course there are, we’ll go and meet our neighbors in the sea whenever you want. We just have to send out a message that we’d like to meet them; I am sure they will come.”
“So how did you create all this?”
“I picked the location, because I’ve loved this place for a long time. The only thing I created is the cabin and its furnishings. I spent most of the day thinking about it and making drawings, and then I came here and manifested my design on this spot. I wanted the landscape and the cabin to be as Earth like as possible,” Ethan said.
“Oh, it is. This place feels very much like it’s on Earth.”
“That was the effect I was after.”
Jayna untangled herself from Ethan’s arms and got out of bed. She walked around the cabin, feeling the wooden floors under her feet. The cabin was definitely a love-nest, but there was no bathroom or a kitchen in sight.
Ethan heard her thoughts about the lack of facilities. He laughed.
“Jayna, we can easily add those if you want them, not a big deal. I didn’t put them in because eating is optional in this dimension; and if you don’t eat you don’t have to go to the bathroom. Actually you never have to go to the bathroom. We get our energy directly from the source, but if it’s going to make you happy, we’ll add both; a kitchen and a bathroom.”
“Really?”
Ethan nodded.
Jayna looked at their nude forms.
“How about we add a wardrobe to the cabin? And I can fill it with endless clothes?”
“Sure, you can manifest all the clothes you want.”
Jayna stopped for a second as an unpleasant question had just entered her mind.
“Ethan, does all this stuff cost money?”
Ethan burst out laughing.
“Jayna, we are in the Astral dimension. There is no such thing as money here. Money is an Earthly invention. It has no place or use in here.”
“So we can manifest to our hearts content, free of charge? Compliments of the Astral dimension?”
“Yep.”
“In that case, all this manifesting can be considered as part of my training?”
“You could say that.”
“Like, I can reproduce the entire Victoria Secrets catalog?”
“Now you’re talking.”
Jayna visualized herself wearing a floral bikini with a matching sheer flyaway cover up. She looked down to see how it looked on her, moving her head around to catch the different angles.
“Nice outfit,” Ethan said. “You are stunning.”
“Have a look,” he said pointing to the full length gilded mirror on the wall that wasn’t there seconds ago. Ethan was very adept at manifesting as Jayna was discovering. She looked in the mirror, turned around to get a three hundred and sixty degree view of her creation.
“I like it,” she said.
“Me too.”
Ethan got out of the bed and came near her. “You wanna go for a walk on the beach,” he asked.
“Love to, but aren’t you going to wear anything?”
Ethan was wearing a pair of Bermuda shorts before Jayna was done asking her question.
“Show off.”
Ethan took her hand and they walked outside to the sandy beach.
Jayna took another look at their cabin from the outside. Its exterior was of birch-wood siding, it had a window on each side of its front door that was painted red. The window shutters were the same red as well as the shingles on the roof. The miles of beige sand, the tall grasses that accentuated the dunes and the blue sea provided a most beautiful backdrop to the cabin.
The cabin shimmered, but was not transparent. The shimmering was the only thing that gave away the fact that they were in the Astral plane. Everything else looked like it was on Earth.
“This place is so peaceful, Ethan. I wish we could spend our whole life here. I want to be with you all the time; I hate being away from you during the day.”
Ethan pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her hungrily.
“You think that I don’t want to be with you every hour of every day, Jayna? I do. We are going to find a balance between the two dimensions. If we were to stay in the Astral plane all the time, do you realize what that would mean?”
“That we are sleeping twenty four seven?”
“And what do we call it if a person never wakes up?”
Understanding dawned on her. “Oh,” she said, “a coma?”
“Unfortunately, that’s what it would mean. You don’t want us to be in a coma, do you?
Jayna shook her head.
“Or dead?”
Jayna shook her head vehemently. “Hell no.”
“According to that sister of yours from ancient Egypt, we were dead for a few thousand years before we incarnated. So I think we better go with the flow and see where it takes us.”
They walked into the sea; the gentle waves hit their ankles.
A huge sea turtle appeared beside them. Whether it had swum to the shore or simply materialized, Jayna wasn’t sure. The turtle looked at them with his old, human like eyes.
Love was emanating from every pore of its being.
Jayna bent down to greet the turtle. “Hello there,” she said. “May I touch you?”
Yes.
Jayna gently laid her hand on the turtle’s rubbery head and petted him as if he was a dog. She could hear the turtle’s thoughts. It was purring like a cat. Its soulful eyes were half closed; loving the attention it was receiving from Jayna.
“Are there others like you in this sea?” Jayna asked.
Yes.
“Please, tell them that I would love to make their acquaintance.”
We are happy that you chose to be our neighbors,” said the turtle. “I am here on behalf the rest of the creatures in this sea. We heard your call. I am here to welcome you.
“Thank you. Give my love to all your friends in the sea for me, will you?”
The turtle nodded, slowly turned around and swam back into the depths of
the sea.
“That was simply divine. Turtles are one of my favorite animals on Earth. This was a real treat to me.”
“I can see that,” Ethan said.
I am your favorite animal, Jayna.
Both Ethan and Jayna froze in their tracks.
Who is that?
Me!
They turned around to find Mia behind them on the Astral beach.
“Oh my God, how did you get here?” Jayna asked.
I followed your scent.
“Ethan, how is this possible,” Jayna asked.
Ethan was surprised too. “I think Mia did exactly what she said. She followed your scent all the way to the Astral plane.”
Jayna bent down to look Mia in the eye.
“Baby girl, you are supposed to be home, in bed, sleeping.”
“I love you, Jayna.”
Jayna looked at Ethan again. “Is this normal?”
“It is now. Earth and its inhabitants are ascending; remember? This just proves that it includes dogs.”
Mia was licking Jayna’s face.
Ethan bent down too. He ruffled Mia’s head.
“Hi Mia.”
Ethan got a lick on his face as a response.
Play please, she said to Ethan.
“Sure, Mia. You wanna play catch?”
Play catch, play catch. Mia’s tail was wagging furiously.
Ethan manifested a small piece of tree branch in his hand and threw it as far as he could. Apparently, things could go a lot farther when thrown in the Astral plane.
Mia ran after it. Jayna was happy to see Mia, but she wasn’t sure if this was a good thing or not.
“Ethan, I am not sure how I feel about Mia being here. Is it safe for her?”
“Perfectly, as long as she remains here and does not follow us into demon territory.”
“That’s what I am afraid of.”
Mia came back, holding the piece of wood in her mouth.
Again, please, she said.
Ethan took it from her mouth and threw it again. Mia ran after it.
“How do I send her back?”
“That depends on how obedient she is. Does she follow commands?”
Jayna shrugged, “Most of the time.”
“Maybe you can ask her to go back, tell her she needs to guard Liam. Do you think she’ll buy that?”
“I hope so.”
Mia was back, wagging her tail.
Love you Jayna. Love you friend.
“Listen, Mia. I want you to be a good girl and go back home. You need to go back and guard our home and Liam. That’s your job.”
Okay. Mia guard home, guard Liam.
Mia shimmered, her Astral form faded then completely disappeared.
Jayna looked at Ethan with surprise.
“Wow, she bought it. You sure understand a dog’s mind.”
“Hey, I put in a lot of hours at the Humane Society,” Ethan said.
“Right, how could I forget?”
“Are you up for some Astral lessons?”
Jayna was surprised at the change of gears in Ethan. The trainer was back.
“Sure. What have you got in mind?”
“I want to teach you about affecting the vibration of an object,” Ethan said. “You need to start with small objects and work your way up to bigger ones.”
He bent down and picked up a pebble from the sea where they were standing. He held it in his palm.
“Observe.”
Jayna was watching with interest.
The pebble first shimmered, became transparent then it vanished.
“What just happened here?”
“I focused my mind on the object and increased its basic vibration. The pebble is still in my hand, but invisible to anyone looking at it. When I let my mind relax, it will come back, like this.” Ethan now held the pebble between his thumb and index finger.
“That’s so neat. Can you do this in the Earth plane?”
“Yes, I can. But it takes a lot more focus in the Earth plane. What I need you to do is start working on it in this dimension and practice during the day. Try it with very small objects, once you’ve mastered a small one, move on to something slightly bigger.”
“How are you able to do this? I don’t get it,” Jayna said.
“It’s basically mind power. People use only a small portion of their minds in the Earth plane, but we are able to use more of it.”
Ethan threw the pebble back into the sea and manifested a piece of paper in his hand.
“And if you focus on the temperature of an object you may be able to raise it……to a degree that it would ignite from its own heat.”
The paper caught on fire. Ethan allowed the paper to burn, and dropped it into the water.
Jayna gave him a curious look. “Are you telling me that you can do this on Earth?”
“You will too if you practice.”
Jayna shook her head. “I find that a little hard to believe. Doing incredible feats in this dimension is one thing, but on Earth? I am not so sure about that.”
“There are a lot of things that you will learn to do using the power of your mind, Jayna. The only thing standing between you and achieving those results is your belief that you cannot do them.”
Ethan bent down and scooped some water into his cupped hands from the sea. Jayna watched him closely. Ethan was looking at the water in his cupped hands. The water crystallized than turned into ice.
Jayna bent down and scooped some water into her own cupped hands. She visualized the water into ice – and it did.
“Yeah, easy enough in this dimension, but I am not so sure I can do this on Earth,” Jayna said.
“Keep trying,” Ethan said, “preferably when no one is watching you. You don’t know when you’ll get it to work. I am sure you don’t want to draw attention to yourself. You have to be careful about that.”
Jayna laughed. “No shit. I am not about to freak out my family. I will maybe demonstrate it to Pav, but only when I’ve done it successfully a few times. I’m wondering if Pavlina’s baby will be able to do these things naturally.”
Ethan shrugged. “We’ll see, won’t we? I wouldn’t be surprised if she will be born with these abilities.”
“That’s something for me to look forward to in the Earth plane. Now, I can’t wait for her to be born.”
Jayna was suddenly more curious about Ethan’s own childhood and the children of his older siblings. “Ethan, when did your family discover that you were special?”
“They just saw that I was different from the time I was born. Once the surprise wore off, they accepted it and kept an eye on me. My parents are both Lightworkers - when two evolved beings have offspring, chances are their kids would be born with aptitude. I am the youngest of my three siblings, but the most advanced in the skills department. My family members have very fulfilling lives on Earth; all of them are involved in jobs where they are contributing to the advancement of humanity in practical ways.”
Jayna’s curiosity was thoroughly whetted. “Like what? Can you give me some examples?”
“Okay, my sister is a yoga instructor. She owns a yoga studio where she teaches classes. Most people sign up because Eve looks great. So they think if they come and take yoga classes from her, they will look great too. She’s helped a lot of people reduce stress and tension using yoga techniques. Her studio also offers classes in meditation. People come for different reasons, but they all benefit enormously because they are learning to align their bodies and spirits with the higher purpose of their soul, even though they don’t realize what’s really happening - and it doesn’t matter.”
Jayna nodded. “That makes sense.”
“When her own children were conceived she knew immediately that they were going to be evolved, because the babies were communicating with her before they were born.
“This is all so interesting; to have a whole family of evolved humans.”
Ethan continued, “The challenge is in raisin
g the children in such a way that their abilities develop fully without being singled out as freaks amongst the general populous.”
“I can see how that could be a problem,” Jayna said.
“On the positive side, these children have a huge capacity for understanding the necessity of keeping certain things private. I learned very early in life what I couldn’t share with people outside of the family.”
“Were you home schooled?”
Ethan shook his head. “No. I went to school with kids my own age. We had a housekeeper who is a Lightworker; having her made life a lot easier for my parents. Later others joined our household and became extended family. They are still around.”
“Is your family the only one in your area?”
“Pretty much, but we have a lot of support systems in place from this dimension. The Masters work very hard to nurture us. Look at you, for instance: you were given your sacred markings as a child, inducted into the Light Force only days ago and because of that proximity it has affected people in your own sphere, so a new micro community has been established in your town.”
They had been walking on the beach, holding hands and talking like an ordinary couple, the only difference was that this beach was in the Astral plane. Everything felt very normal to Jayna; this was as close to Earth as they could come - a quiet and beautiful place where they could have some private time safely.
Jayna had not seen any signs of life here except the turtle that had come out of the sea to welcome them, and then Mia had made a brief appearance. Jayna saw a majestic eagle in the sky. It was swooping down towards them.
Ethan held out his arm - to Jayna’s surprise the eagle gently landed there. Ethan scratched its proud head. The eagle moved his strong neck around, clearly enjoying the petting.
It was obvious that Ethan and the eagle were no strangers. Jayna waited to be introduced.
“Jayna, it is my pleasure and honor to introduce you to my lifelong friend, Al.”
“Hello, Al. I am honored to make your acquaintance.”
The eagle eyed Jayna and bowed his head, Likewise. I see that you are a fit partner to our Ethan. He is very special.
Jayna had the distinct feeling that the bird, okay the eagle, had just sized her up and passed judgment on her. Thankfully, Al found her deserving of Ethan. The tone of Al’s voice, even though telepathic communication, was very commanding.
“What brings you here, Al?” Ethan asked.
You and your partner are invited to attend a gathering of the Totems.
“Very kind of you to invite us, Al. Are my parents there?”
Yes. Your father is expecting you.
Ethan kissed the eagle’s head.
“Okay. We’ll be there.”
The eagle flew up and away.
“That was another wow moment for me. Who is Al? He certainly doesn’t look like a pet. He has a very commanding presence.”
“Al is my father’s Totem. We each have our own. It will be a great learning experience for you to attend the gathering.”
Ethan took Jayna’s hand and they were back in the cabin -it was back to business in the Astral plane. Their little private time was at an end.
Ethan pulled Jayna in front of the gilded mirror.
“Now might be a good time to procure some clothes you were fantasizing about. I am not sure whom we might run into at the gathering.”
Jayna blushed, something she hadn’t done in a while.
“You mean I shouldn’t look like I was seducing you.”
Ethan wrapped her in his strong arms and kissed her neck.
“I love it when you seduce me. That is the whole purpose of having this slice of heaven for ourselves. Let’s think of it as ‘Home Sweet Home’, but we are invited to a celebration of sorts, a gathering of Totems, sacred animals whose spirits guide us in the Earth plane. There will be others there, Ascended Masters, Lightworkers, Shamans and quite possibly family and friends. We should dress properly.”
In the next instant, Ethan was in a pair of black jeans and a black T-shirt, his usual business attire in the Astral plane.
Jayna scratched her head thinking what would be suitable for her to wear on this occasion.
She settled on a floor length, turquoise sun dress with straps that tied on the back of her neck. The dress matched her bracelet beautifully. She was also wearing the necklace the Divine Mother had given her. Her shoulders were bear, but she felt suitably dressed and accessorized.
She flipped her head upside down and gave her hair a shake. When she flipped back, her dark copper hair was cascading down her back as if it had been styled by a star stylist. She focused on her face and make up appeared to enhance her beautiful features. She took one last look in the mirror and noticed her hands. She gave herself an instant manicure - might as well do the works, she thought and added an instant pedicure to complete her grooming.
Ethan was quietly watching her and loving it. I like playing house, he thought.
“You look fabulous, babe.”
“And decent enough to run into your family and friends?” Jayna asked nervously.
“Enough to drive me crazy and decent enough to run into family and friends.”
“FYI – I am nervous about meeting your parents. Do they even know about me?”
“Yep, I couldn’t keep my mind quite about you; kept broadcasting your name so they heard me, and asked questions. I told them I met the girl of my dreams .”
He kissed her tenderly. “They would never make you feel uncomfortable. Don’t’ worry about it. In fact, they can’t wait to meet you.”
“Okay, lead the way.”
They stepped out of the cabin to find a golden dragon perched on their front yard.
“Whoa, where did this come from?” Jayna was startled at the sight of the majestic creature.
The dragon breathed fire and flapped its wings when he saw them, but in a friendly sort of way. He didn’t look like he was going to eat them for dinner.
Ethan walked up to the dragon and patted its neck. The dragon glowed from pleasure. He was about three meters tall, seven meters from head to tail and had a wingspan of about ten meters. He was huge.
There was some silent communication going on between Ethan and the dragon that Jayna was not able to tune into. It was a very subtle form of communication, much subtler than telepathy.
“Jayna, this is my Totem, Ragun Undarados. He is here to give us a ride.”
Ethan picked up Jayna and floated up onto the dragon’s back; he straddled the dragon like a horse keeping Jayna close to his chest. Jayna wrapped her arms around Ethan. When they were comfortably settled, the dragon took off. Their cabin quickly became a spec in the distance. They flew towards inland, away from the sea. The scenery changed from the beach to mountains and lakes, then to a city with palace like buildings. They were flying over an Astral city, but the dragon wasn’t descending yet, he maintained the same altitude. This was the first time Jayna was seeing the Astral world from high above on dragon-back. Normally, they did instant relocation so she saw only her destinations, not the route. This was a whole new experience.
Jayna was mesmerized by the beauty of the scenery she was taking in.
When they came to a meadow, Jayna saw a crowd of many animals and people down below. This had to be the Totems’ gathering.
Ragun Undarados descended and landed ever so gently. Ethan hopped down with Jayna in his arms and put her down. The gathering had the ambiance of a country fair with every imaginable animal walking, flying or slithering around and mingling with people.
There were also people of every race.
An Asian man walked up to Ethan and bowed deeply. Ethan returned the bow. He spoke to Ethan in perfect English. A few minutes later an Indian joined their little group. To Jayna’s surprise, he spoke perfect English too.
Does everyone speak English here? Jayna wondered.
Ethan heard her thoughts.
“Everyone doesn’t speak English, Jayn
a. They speak whatever language is natural to them, you hear them in English.”
“You mean there is some sort of an auto-interpreter built into this place?”
“Yep.”
Ethan introduced Jayna to several people. Everyone was friendly and respectful and shone with the inner glow of Lightworkers. Regardless of age and gender, everyone was beautiful, some more beautiful than others, but there were no Plain Janes in this gathering.
Ethan heard her thoughts again.
“Have you figured it out yet?” he asked.
“What?”
“The thing about beauty.”
“Not sure that I have. It can’t be that you have to pass some sort of beauty threshold to make the cut. That’s pretty shallow.” Jayna laughed. “There’s got to be a better reason for their good looks.”
“Beauty is not a measure of attractiveness in the Astral plane, it’s a measure of spiritual advancement. As beings evolve to higher vibrations their glow increases, and that comes across as beauty.”
Jayna took another look around. Some of the beings were so bright they had a sphere of light around them. Everyone was bowing to one another, including the Totems who were treated with great respect.
“Each Totem has a quality that we can call upon.” Ethan explained. “For example, if you need courage you call upon a lion or a lioness. The Totem would pass on those qualities to you. I know you haven’t met your personal Totem yet; no worries, you will meet when the time is right.”
Ethan brought Jayna’s hand to his lips and kissed her hand. “We’ll walk around and mingle, meet some people and Totems. Just go with the flow; that’s the key.”
Jayna repeated. “Go with the flow; must be a catchphrase around here. You said that before.”
Jayna was grateful that she had taken the time to groom herself. She wondered how she came across to the people here. Did she have an inner glow, or being a new recruit was she the dimmest one here, she wondered.
A peacock that was near came and stopped in front of Jayna. He opened his tail like a massive fan. He was glorious.
Your glow is just fine, the peacock said with great aplomb.
“Thank you for that comment,” said Ethan. “My partner is new to this dimension. She could use your help, some of your confidence.”
The peacock turned back its beautiful neck and plucked a single plume from his tail. He held it in his beak and presented it to Jayna.
I wish to bestow upon you the gift of confidence. Will you accept my gift, he asked as he offered the plume to Jayna.
Jayna reached and took the feather in her hand. Instantly her confidence rose by degrees. She smiled gratefully to the peacock.
“Thank you. I will cherish this gift,” Jayna said to the Totem. She was humbled by the peacock’s magnificence. She wondered if she should be curtsying to the peacock.
Hearing her thoughts, Ethan bowed to give Jayna a clue how to properly thank the Totem. Jayna followed Ethan’s example and bowed deeply. The peacock bowed back and walked away.
“I can see how Totems can be so helpful,” Jayna said. “I am glad we came here. Please, thank your father for sending us word of this gathering.”
“You can thank him yourself,” Ethan said. “I see him right over there.” He pointed to a group of people.
When Jayna looked that way Ethan’s father met her gaze and gave a curt nod of his head, excused himself from the group and walked over to meet them.
Ethan was taller than his father, but the resemblance was definitely there.
“Hi dad,” Ethan said. “This is Jayna.”
Jayna took a step forward.
“Hello,” she said while offering her hand to Roy. Roy took Jayna’s hand in both of his.
“I owe you my family’s gratitude for saving Ethan’s life,” he said.
Jayna felt her face go deep red.
“I didn’t really know what I was doing. I stumbled into that situation. I am glad that whatever I did helped Ethan.”
“You are too modest, my dear. I see why Ethan is smitten by you; he hasn’t stopped talking about you.”
Jayna blushed some more.
“Dad, you are embarrassing her.” Ethan said to his father as he tried to control a blush himself.
Jayna cleared her throat. “Thank you for inviting us to this gathering.”
“This is a great place to meet the Totems and get a true appreciation of what they do for us. Everyone you see here is involved in some aspect of Lightwork.” Roy glanced at his son. “Why don’t you introduce Jayna to some more people? Everyone is wondering about her.”
“Yes, sir.”
Roy walked back to his group. A beautiful woman waved at them. Ethan waved back. Jayna wasn’t sure what to do. The woman made eye contact with her and smiled sweetly. Jayna smiled back and said hello telepathically.
“Let me guess, would that be your mother?” she asked Ethan.
“Yep, that’s her.”
“Oh!”
“I’ll introduce you to her in a bit. She is talking to aunt Twi about the project they are leading together.”
Jayna glanced at the regal woman with coffee color skin and a turban adorned with an egg size diamond.
“That lady is your aunt?”
Maybe by marriage, she thought. They don’t seem to be related, totally different skin colors.
“I call her aunt out of respect. We aren’t related. If we were, I would be a prince.” Ethan said with a crooked smile.
“Your aunt Twi is royalty?”
“Aunt Twi is a princess from Africa.”
“No kidding.”
“She is, but keeps it very low key. She is a princess in her own community, but outside of it she is simply Twi. That’s how she wants it.”
Ethan took Jayna’s hand and they walked over to an elderly man. He had a white beard and kind eyes with many wrinkles etched around them. He wore a long, white robe and a white turban. His inner glow was so strong that it projected out a meter all around him, as if there was a spotlight shining on his person from above. When he saw the young couple approach, he placed his hands together by his chest and bowed. Ethan bowed back making sure he bent down farther than the old man; Jayna followed suit.
He did not speak, but chose to address them telepathically.
Greetings my dears, it is always a delight to see the young ones attend these gatherings.
It is an honor to see you, Sir. You bless us with your presence.
The old man cupped his hands and closed his eyes for a few seconds. A light started to glow inside his cupped hands. He opened his eyes, smiled and tossed the ball of light on Jayna and Ethan. Ethan went down to his knees and bowed his head. Jayna had no idea what had just happened, but she did as Ethan and went down on her knees, too.
The old man came closer, placed his hands on their heads then taking each of their hands he helped them up.
We have high hopes for the two of you. May the eternal light keep you safe, he said. His light grew stronger until his form was no longer visible. He became a ball of light and floated away.
”Who is that?” Jayna asked feeling a high from the old man’s touch.
“That is a Mahavatar. He is one of the greatest Avatars of all time. He blessed us with his eternal light. I can’t fathom what it would be like to hold his light. It would burn all my circuits.”
“I feel woozy, kind of intoxicated. I hope this isn’t considered disrespectful to put it that way,” Jayna said.
“No disrespect is taken. When your vibration is raised to heights your body is not accustomed to, the effect is always intoxicating. I am surprised that we are able to stand up. But he helped us up, so we could stand.”
Ethan looked around, there were only a few people and Totems left, most were gone.
“I think we just experienced a time warp. The gathering is almost over. What seemed like a couple of seconds was a lot longer. There is hardly anyone left.”
“Do you think it’s tim
e to return to Earth?”
Ethan checked his internal watch.
“Yep.”
In the next moment, they were floating above Jayna’s sleeping form. Ethan wrapped his arms around Jayna and kissed her fervently for a long time. Farewells were not easy.
“I love you,” Jayna said. “I can’t wait to be in your arms again,” and then slipped into her body. Ethan hovered over her for a few more seconds, but having no choice in the matter, he left.
