Raging Hot

the neighbor from across the street. I’m gonna kill her!
Anger shot through me as as I threw open the door, then grabbed it and pulled it closed just enough that she could see me and stood there trying to fill as much of the doorway as possible. This neighbor was the worst, about wanting to know everything. Several months ago she’d even had the audacity to ask me why Devin hadn’t been there lately. Nosy bitch!
“Has there been trouble here?” she asked, peering through the door and at everything but me. God, she’s nosy!
“Glinda, what’s this about?” I shot back at her.
“Well I just saw the motorcycle out in the front and it’s obvious it belongs to a cop,” she said and continued looking around me on both sides until she saw the object of her inquisition behind me.
Turning, I saw what she was looking at. Slade had just walked up behind me looking very stoic and professional. And, oh-my-God, he had my wet breast imprints on his shirt front. No, not with Miss-Prying-Eyes-Wagging-Tongue here, please! My mind immediately went back to what I’d been doing only a minute before and I glanced down to make sure he’d put the object of my affection safely back in his pants. I felt the blood flush from between my legs to above my eyes.
“I was worried about you. I remember that horrible fight you and Devin had a while back.” Her lips twitched with a little smile which didn’t match the sympathetic tone she struggled to speak in.
“No, as you can see I’m fine and Devin’s not here. I told you I’d keep you posted if anything like that happens because I know you’re only worried about my welfare and I really appreciate it,” I growled trying to be as sarcastic as possible. “You don’t have to worry about me for one second,” I added as I closed the door and turned to Slade.
“Who’s Devin? His name seems to come up a lot. And why would a cop being here be related to him?” Slade’s expression reeked concern.
“My soon-to-be-ex,” I answered, realizing overcome with just how little Slade and I knew about each other.
“Soon to be? So, you’re married?”
“I was married. It’s been over for quite a long time, actually,” I said and looked down at my bare feet while I tugged at the belt holding my old robe closed.
“Is he why you’re so down on yourself?” He’d come back to me and took me by the shoulders. When I didn’t meet his gaze he put a finger under my chin and raised my face to his.
“Is he?” he persisted, running his hand to the back of my neck and massaging tenderly.
I shrugged. “Why do you think I’m down on myself?” I still couldn’t look at him.
“Because of the way you act. I can tell,” he stated.
I shrugged again.
“Okay, well, for what it’s worth, I think you’re one of the most attractive, sexy women I’ve encountered.” His eyes stared into mine.
“It – it’s worth a lot,” I whispered, tears pushing against the backs of my eyes. God, please don’t let him see the pitiful, desperate woman I am...
“Good,” he whispered and stood there with the cutest, most rascally smile turning up on the left in a half-Elvis salute. His eyes sparkled as he added and dropped my license back into his shirt pocket, “Think I’ll keep your license so I can bring it back tomorrow. That work for you?”
My face grew even hotter as I looked into those big blue eyes. I got all wet and warm down there again. The Creamy liquid would drip down my legs if I didn’t get a handle on myself.
“Or would you like to finish now or pick up where we left off?” he grinned.
“No,” I tried to generate my best look of indignation. I wouldn’t explain that I needed some time to think this through, that I’m not the type woman to do this kind of thing, because obviously I am now. I’d just put a man’s dick in my mouth that I haven’t even met yet except for seeing his name tag. And a cop, no less! And on top of that he’d watched me playing with myself in the shower while I fantasized about him. Lord! Exactly who am I?
Hell, my ex had been an ex for only five months and we weren’t even divorced. I didn’t care that he didn’t His not finding me attractive any longer hurt but didn’t make me want to shrink into myself like I had. Why would I when I stood in the same room with a cop who wore my wet breast-prints on his uniform shirt? And who seems to find me very attractive.
Why is he smiling at me that way?
“No, really,” Slade said and put his large left hand on my right side just below the waist and pulled me to him. The heat of his hand reached through my tattered old robe and my knees got weak again. Slade, Slade, Slade. The name pulsed through every part of me. With one hand capturing my left side he pulled me to him, then raised a hand to lift my chin and smiled down at me. Wow, he really was tall.
His face moved closer. Was my breath okay? He certainly hadn’t smelled like a guy who rode a motorcycle in this heat all day. Slade leaned into me, I knew he was about to kiss me. I saw it in his eyes. I wondered if I should walk away or stick around for what this could become. For some reason I couldn’t turn away, from the moment or the possibilities.
His intoxicating masculine scent reached me before he got close enough to reach my lips with his. He brushed my top lip with his, so sweetly, not at all like the throes of sexual pleasure we’d just been in. Another wave of tingling heat spread from my lips to my stomach and down. He drew back and gazed intently into my eyes, then came back in for more. When his lips found mine I relaxed and welcomed him in to explore.
He stopped and gently held me away from him, then very politely removed his hands off from my shoulders, his eyes delving into mine. What now?
“Seriously, Lois, would you like to see me again?” The words rumbled from deep inside that broad chest with my imprints on it, and they matched the look in his eyes.
Exactly what was he asking?
“We could go to dinner, a movie...whatever you like,” he answered my unspoken question.
“Yes, I’d like to see you again,” the new me answered while the old me pushed my glasses up on my nose, “very much.”
“When?” he asked in a very un-coppish way and moved closer, but not so close we couldn’t look at each other.
I took a step back from him and tried to stop the shaking going on inside me. “I don’t know when,” I admitted. I couldn’t go through another rejection. I had to protect myself. Slade was unusually good-looking, sexy. He seemed sweet...and but he could hurt me if I let him. Did he pull women over and have this happen very often? What did he want with damaged goods like me? A frumpy, discarded housewife?
He took a step back and a look crossed his chiseled features that spoke of uncertainty.
He slid my license out of his front shirt pocket.
“Okay, Ms. Kincade. We’ll do this your way. I’ll be waiting.” Slade’s words came out in a heavy sigh. He opened the door and stepped through, tossing a hard glance at my nosy neighbor standing vigil in her front yard where she pretended to weed her flower bed. He stopped, turned toward me and handed me my driver’s license, giving me a warm smile as he turned to walk to his bike.
“Feel free to call if you have the need, Ms. Kincade. Remember, we’re here to protect and serve,” he said in a loud tone. All for Glinda Craft’s benefit. Ever the dutiful police officer.
I stepped back inside my house and leaned against the closed door. I looked down at my license. Nestled behind it was his card. A phone number was handwritten on the back of it.
I raised his card to my heart and let my tears escape their prison.

Okay, new hair color a couple of days ago. Check! Today new clothes. Under and outer. And contacts.
I chanted the words and remembered how Slade had touched me, how he’d looked at me. Like I was pretty. It wasn’t only physical. It was more. Not like in the books I’d been reading. Until yesterday I hadn’t realized that I had it in me to be so sensual or aggressive with a man. I’d never had a penis in my mouth! Devin hadn’t liked oral sex. Bu
t Slade certainly did, and I did, too. Would I like being on the receiving end of it? My vajay-jay was saying yay-yay!
The mall loomed before me, a cavernous wonderland that held the keys to some of my transformation. Cool air rushed to greet me and dispelled the heat from the surface of my skin, so refreshing after the sweltering heat outside. It’s been years since I thought of getting new bras that didn’t come from a box. I want a red push-up bra that shows cleavage, with panties to match. I might get black ones, too! And blue and green...
I was determined to learn everything I could about that and other ways of pleasuring a man and had spent hours again on the Internet last night. Some of the sites hosted explicit pictures and descriptions that somehow didn’t embarrass me at all. No, Slade found me attractive and there was no going back now. I was jumping off the Frump Train.
“Hi,” said someone as I approached the lingerie store. I looked up and there stood Candace, Devin’s office assistant. Her voice sounded gooey and melty and sticky. Maybe that’s why I want to call her Candy. Candy-Q to be exact. Hell, I know she hates being called anything but Candace, but it’s so tempting. She looked like a Barbie Doll, all tits and legs and teeth. And so young.
“Hello,” I retorted, trying to cut this already too-long conversation even shorter. This little girl, as I refer to her most often, is the last person I wanted to see me in a lingerie shop. Shit, I had things to do.
“What cha looking for?” Her tone was just a bit too much on the lets-be-friends side.
I looked her straight in the face. “Clothes,” I told her. She doesn’t need to know too much about my business. I felt bad immediately. She’d never done anything but be nice to me. Just because someone looked like a Bimbo doesn’t mean I should be ugly.
I sighed. “I decided it was time to add to my wardrobe. For work. You know,” I said, trying to cover the bitchiness in my earlier remark.
“Heard you and Devin are separated. Have been for a while,” she added.
Was that a simper? Was that a happy gleam in her over-made-up eyes?
“You heard right,” I answered, staring at her now.
Had she been assisting my soon-to-be-ex with more than work? I suspected there was someone else but hadn’t been able to prove it or even get a clue. But could it be Candace? She was fifteen years younger than Devin and – didn’t she have a boyfriend or fiancé or something?
“Where did you happen to hear about it?” I asked in my most innocent voice with eyes to match.
“Oh, well, office scuttlebutt, you know,” she answered, obviously pleased with herself.
The next words flew out of my mouth of their own volition. “What are you shopping for?” I didn’t try to hide the evil-eye I felt shooting from me to her. “Errands for the boss?”
Shock at my brazen question shot across Candy’s face and she answered a bit too quickly. “No! I mean –“
I lifted a brow at her, my expression accusing.
“What do you mean?”
“Look, Lois, I’m sorry I brought it up about you and Devin. Fifteen years is a long time to be married and it’s clearly still a very sore subject for you,” she said, obviously uncomfortable and probably afraid of being named in the divorce.
She’s using our first names now?
“Yeah, well, I’ve got to get going,” I said and started toward the opening for the lingerie shop leaving her where she stood. Let the little bitch run tell Devin she saw me going into this kind of shop. I wanted him to know someone thought I was good-looking and sexy enough.
I entered the store with no idea where to start, amazed and a little overwhelmed with all the different styles and sized bras. Everything seemed to be color-coordinated, down to the tiniest detail. I was still reeling with the new certainty that Devin had been banging Candy right under my nose. How long had it been going on? Why was I so angry?

Satisfied with my purchases, I went home and stood in front of my full-length mirror. I looked long and hard at myself. I let Devin’s words course through me and wondered how Slade could really find me attractive. My next thought was of how right his hands felt on me, how his eyes shined down at me like he liked more than approved of what he saw! Maybe I didn’t look too bad for a thirty-five-year-old-young-woman.
I let my hands follow the lines of my breasts and the new red push-up bra, so glad I’d shed twenty-five pounds through this divorce ordeal. But, God, look at my stomach still sticking out!
No! No more of looking at myself in a negative way. I slipped on the flaming red bikini panties that matched my bra.
Not too bad. Not too bad at all. Can’t believe it. Need to tone up a little, but not bad. Wonder how Slade will like this?
Got to quit thinking about him. I’m not even divorced yet. So what? How long were we married? Was it really fifteen years?
I turned and walked to my bed where I’d laid the other four sets of lingerie I’d bought. For Slade. For a man I didn’t even know. For a man who’d said he’d be waiting for my call, a call I was definitely going to make. I think.
Slade’s words feathered through my head, his proposal that the two of us should meet again. A pleasant moisture started between my legs. Better take off my new panties! Maybe I will give him a call now. Was there ever a doubt about that? My lingerie purchase said absolutely not. Am I a cougar because I know he looks younger than me and most assuredly younger than Devin?
Screw Devin, dammit! And not in a good way.

I managed not to call Slade all weekend, still so unsure of myself and what to do next. And, yes, still fuming over the idea of Devin and Candace being a “thing.” Was this normal? Shouldn’t I be able to handle this better after five months of separation?
I exited the highway toward home and tried to relax a little. Mondays always seemed to be a bitch and I was glad the day was done.
Flashing lights rushed up behind me and I looked in the mirror to see a motorcycle cop motioning to pull me over.
Slade.
A smile split my face, touched my eyes which moistened with happy tears. I rolled down my window, stuck out my arm and gave him the finger. He followed me home and this time pulled up next to me in the garage. I closed the garage door and remained in the car.
“Ma’am? Do you know the penalty for not pulling over when a police officer executes a stop?” He’d removed his helmet, laid it on the motorcycle seat and stood with his hand on his gun, expression stern, voice firm.
“Why, no Sir, I don’t,” I answered as though upset but actually quite giddy.
“Step out of the car, Ma’am.”
“Don’t you want to see my license first?”
“No need. I’ve already seen it. You’re a repeat offender.”
“You must have me mistaken for some other woman, Sir,” I drawled and batted my eyelashes, looking up at him through them with my most innocent expression.
“No. No mistake. You’re the only one, Ma’am. Now step out of the car,” he commanded and I complied, and unbuttoned my business shirt so that my cleavage poured out of it, so happy I’d worn my new underclothes as I stepped out of my car..
“Keep your hands where I can see them, please.”
“How about I keep them where you can feel them?” I put my hands on his ass and squeezed.
His moan made me weak in the knees and my nipples sprang to attention. I pulled him closer, pushing his swollen cock against my belly. I couldn’t stop the moan that escaped my throat.. His hands went into my hair and he guided my lips to his. The kiss was one of passion, of hunger, of need. He scooped me up and into his arms and headed toward the door.
“Keys?” he asked, breathing heavy as we reached the door. I removed them from between my breasts where I’d stuffed them as soon as I turned off the car, raised my right hand and let them dangle between my fingers. He set me down, one arm still tightly around me, took the keys, inserted them into the lock and turned it. I imagined what it would feel like
to feel him insert himself in me.
The door swung open and the alarm started beeping. He picked me up again and carried me over to the alarm so I could disarm it. He looked away as I entered the code, then set me down and stroked my face with his fingers.
“You’re all I could think about this weekend,” he said, his voice husky. I could feel his breath on my face.
“Me, too,” I said on half a breath.
He walked into the kitchen and removed his gun belt and holster, wrapping it up so that it looked to be in a carefully tied knot, then deposited it on the island near where we stood.
Unwilling for the moment to be lost I continued to tease him. “I’m sure you could have pulled over any number of wayward female drivers,” I said, still wondering what he could possibly see in me.
“I was off this weekend,” he responded, squelching my attempt to belittle any importance I may be to him. “I chose to use it to think about you, Lois.”
“I–I...well...” I hated the stammering, bumbling idiot I was showing him.
“Stop it. Stop putting yourself down, like you’re not worth even thinking about. Unless...”
“Unless?” I prompted.
“Unless you just think I’m some sick fuck who makes a habit out of stopping beautiful women, following them home and trying to take advantage of them,” he said.
“No! I don’t think that. It’s just – well, you have to admit what happened Friday is majorly out there, Slade. For me, at least.”
“But not for me.” This was a statement, not a question. He hung his head, as though he were considering this.
“That’s not what I meant.”
His head stayed down. I touched his face and said, “Look, I’ve only ever been with one man and wasn’t able to please him. And now you...” I swallowed hard, “you seem to find me attractive and I don’t know how to handle it.”
“I disagree. You seem very capable of handling it to me,” he said close to my ear.
I stepped back from him, took his hand and headed toward my bedroom. He stopped and I turned to look at him.
