“Well I want to meet anyone who can get you to think past one day. He must be special.” Karrie looked as if she couldn’t wait to meet the guy and Myles just knew he’d better be talking about him.
“Karrie meet my manfriend Myles O’Rourke.” Then he put his hand on the back of his head and directed him in for a soft kiss.
“Shut up.” Karrie squealed. “See there was a reason I had to get you two together. You should probably be thanking me.”
Cash and Myles both turned to look at her.
“What? Too soon?” Karrie threw herself at both of the men as she hugged them both. “This makes me happier than you could ever know. My magazine isn’t even out already and it’s changing lives.”
Myles threw his head back and laughed at that one. Karrie was wild but he would always be grateful for her and her antics.
“Come on guys let’s mingle. There is a huge picture of Cash over by the bar and it’s been a hit with everyone.” Karrie was off and walking and Myles tried to follow her but was stopped by Cash.
“I’m probably as bad as my sister introducing you to her as my manfriend but I didn’t think I could get through this night without tasting you.” Cash put his hand on Myles’ face and stroked as he stoked the kiss hotter and faster.
Myles broke away. “You’re going to get fucked in the middle of this gallery if you don’t stop. It’s been a week since I saw you and I’m so hard just looking at you. I can’t take much more.”
Cash’s eyebrow arched up. “Was that a challenge?”
“No…hell no.” Myles pulled Cash out of the darkened cove they’d been in and walked them in the direction he’d seen Karrie go.
“Okay, okay.” Cash stopped him in the middle of the floor. “You have everything worked out so you can come back to our place when we are done here?”
“Our place?”
“Yeah. I know you travel for work and you don’t have a place that you consider home. I’d like to be that place.”
“Your house?” Myles was blown away.
“No.” Cash moved closer to Myles and held his hand. “Me. I want to be the place you make it back to.”
“This is a big step for you.” Myles didn’t want to give him a way to walk back what he’d said but at the same time he needed to know how serious Cash was.
“It is a huge step. One that I’ve been thinking about since you’ve gone. You’ve totally screwed up my regular operating system. You’ve taken me from one and done to one and only. I wanted to work it out with you and see what happened but now I just want it all.”
Myles pulled Cash in for a hug while he laughed at that and felt Cash rub his face into his neck. He pulled them apart and almost choked on the feelings that were trying to overwhelm him.
“That’s quite a feat.” Myles murmured.
“You know I have always liked big, intelligent guys and when you left I tried to see how I felt about other guys who fit that description but I found that I might like that kind of guy in general but they didn’t appeal to me. I wanted you, specifically.”
Myles wasn’t sure what to say about that. His heart felt like it was actually bursting with so many emotions he needed a reset. Cash pulled out his arms, gave him a quick kiss and dragged him toward his sister.
They’d walked through the magazine and had talked to so many people it should have been against the law. When there was a lul in the action Myles leaned over and whispered in Cash’s ear.
“Thanks for the save earlier. You said almost all the things I’ve wanted to hear from you and I was shocked stupid.”
“I know.” Cash said quietly. “I don’t do a lot of talking or show a lot of emotions but when I do I give it my all.”
Myles shoved Cash lightly with his elbow. “First one and done and now all or nothing? You’re a walking cliché.”
“What can I say…I like absolutes.”
Epilogue - Myles
He had made it to day 30 of the Kick Ass challenge and damn it if it hadn’t been hard as hell. Getting ready for his last sparring match he stood against the wall looking at all the men who had brought him into their fold.
Sam was getting ready to fight in the next few days and was deep into training. “Hey. It’s Mr. Magazine. I stopped by to watch your final spar. I hear they’re putting you up against The Mountain.”
Myles liked that he had a nickname although it was kind of basic and he knew he was going to be sparring with the tall, quiet Russian guy that was always here. The man fit his nickname totally. He knew that Cash had let him do the program the way it was supposed to be for his pride and for his boyfriend…strike that…manfriend he cheated on his diet a few times a week. They were both happy.
“He looks like a tough guy.” Myles said looking at the man from across the room.
“That’s just the way he looks, but he’s a sweet guy on the inside.” Maddox had walked in on that conversation.
“Sweet on the inside isn’t going to stop him from pulverizing me on the outside.” Myles said not able to look away from the large man they were putting him with. He didn’t look like that, did he?
“You’ll be fine. It’s just a sparring exercise no one will get hurt. You think your boyfriend is going to let anything really happen to you? I was wondering if he’d even watch.” Maddox looked around as if looking for him.
“He’ll be here.”
“Confidence. I love it.” Maddox stood in front of Myles. “I’m really glad that you two have gotten together and are making it work. You two had one more week and I was going to come and get you. The man was an absolute bear when you left and who had to put up with it?”
“You?”
“That’s right. Me.”
They both looked at the Mountain and Myles thought they had different thoughts just by the look on Maddox’s face.
“I thought you were a couple or something when I first met you. I thought you were way to attractive a guy to work in a place like this.”
“I know what you thought and I know what Cash thought about you and I. What is so surprising is that I’d never seen Cash act like he did for you and I hoped that if both of you thought the other was possibly interested in me that would light the fire and stop the procrastination.” Maddox smiled bright.
Myles shook his head. “Good thing for you it worked.”
“Don’t I know it.” Maddox moved away from him right about the time he was called to the ring.
It took only one of the 4 rounds to figure out that this was a great experience but he wasn’t ever going to do it again. He did more running than actual sparing but he could handle himself against the Mountain.
The ding, ding of the last bell had Myles sweaty, tired and happy he completed it all. He made it to his corner only to find Cash standing there.
“You okay?” Cash said as he made his way to stand with his arms draped around the corned.
“Of course.” The doctor was there to do a quick check up and then he was gone.
Cash pulled him into a hug and held tight. “Please tell me you hated that shit more than anything you’ve ever hated before because I don’t think I could watch that again.”
“I was thinking about telling you I loved it and wanted to join the circuit for MMA fights, but I don’t want to even think about stepping in the ring with anyone else.”
“Good.” Cash rubbed his body down with a towel and squirted water in his mouth, but he avoided looking into his eyes. “I’ve never watched someone I truly love fight before and although it wasn’t for real I was all fucked up over every hit you took.”
“Wait.” Myles put a hand on the one Cash was using to rub him down. “Did you just say your love me?”
“Yeah.” The nonchalance almost made Myles laugh.
“You think you can just say that so casually?” Myles grabbed Cash’s face within his hands, held it for a minutes but then remembered where they were and took hands away.
“Gasp, Myles. I think you wanted to kiss me in f
ront of all of these people.” There was a naughty twinkle in his eye and Myles wasn’t sure what to make out of it.
Myles had no idea why he was being so playful. There were people standing around and they were looking directly at them. “I almost forgot where we were.”
Cash picked up his manfriend’s hands and placed them back on his face. “Do it.”
“What?” Myles couldn’t believe that Cash was saying.
“If you want to kiss your man in front of all these people who am I to stop you?”
Myles went in hard as he tried to show Cash what all of this had meant to him. The heavy workouts, the rub downs he received when he got home the special meals he created for him.
Cash accepted the kiss and gave a bit back but he seemed to be better at taking in the lay of the land while he did so. “Come on. Let’s get out of here.”
They made it back to Maddox’s office.
“Well look at you two. The champion and the Reporter Brawler.” Maddox’s looked happy for them both, but as they walked away he latched on to Cash’s arm. “I’ve always bitched at you to take a chance on someone and you never would, but now I see you were just waiting for the perfect guy for you. Good call.”
Myles walked into Cash’s office and the door closed behind them both. Cash was on Myles before the click of the lock finished.
The kiss wasn’t pretty or gentle but Myles loved every minute of it. Myles was sure if someone was watching them it would look like they were fighting as they both attacked the others pants trying to get to what they wanted. Cash moved Myles’ hands to above his head when his cock cleared his pants.
“l can’t wait until we get home. I want you to cum for me now. Each minute I watched you in the ring I just wanted to get you out of there and take care of you.” Cash said in between kissing Myles mouth.
He got some lube from the bookcase next to them and pumped a few squirts into his hands before he wrapped his large hand around both of their cocks. There was no way this was going to last long as Myles was experiencing the rush of endorphins that came with the conclusion of the fight, being told Cash loved him and the feel of his favorite cock rubbing against his. “Harder Charles.” He said as he strained against the tight grip of Cash’s fist.
“Mmmm…I like it when you get all bossy.” Cash stroked them both hard and fast as they both leaked pre cum fighting their way to their climax. “Come with me Myles I can’t wait anymore.”
Just the breathy request mixed with the rest of it sent Myles over the edge and he was quickly followed by the sound and feel of Cash’s hot load all over his stomach.
Cash let both of their cocks go and Myles missed the closeness they just shared. He was given a wet cloth to clean up and Cash went over to his desk. When he returned he had a paper in his hand.
Myle threw away the wet cloth and took the paper from Cash.
“Congratulations. You have completed your Kick Ass Training.”
“Is that the treat you get with graduation?” Myles said talking about the amazing hand job he’d gotten by the door.
“Not typically but for you we can have a graduation ceremony anytime you’d like. I just wanted you to know that I didn’t take it easy on you because I didn’t think you could do it, I just wanted you to stay the way you are.” Cash flopped down on the couch beside him. “Now I don’t care how you look I just want you with me, but don’t think I don’t know you cheat on your diet for me.”
“How do you know that?”
“I love the taste of cherry pie a’la mode and you get it almost every Thursday when you go out to work on your articles.” Cash looked at him and he had to laugh.
“I’m just trying to make both of us happy.”
“You don’t have to do anything special I’m happy if you’re here with me.”
