She picked up another piece of fruit and looked over at Graham. It was amazing how much had happened to her in the past year and she began to feel tears welling up in the corners of her eyes. “Is everything alright?” Graham looked at her and lifted her head up to him. She shook her head, “No, it’s just that everything is so perfect, and it’s like ever since you came into my life, I feel like everything has made since and now I can’t imagine living this life without you,” she spoke softly as tears began pouring down her face. He reached over and wiped her tears away and leaning into her and kissed her softly on the lips. “That, sweetheart, is something that you’ll never have to worry about again. Every breath I take from now on until the day that my heart stops beating is dedicated to you and our family. There is nothing in this world that I would rather do than spend every waking moment with you,” Graham whispered and kissed her again.

“Good,” Joleigh smiled and picked up a piece of cantaloupe before popping it into her mouth, and she meant it. Knowing that after all of her years of longing for someone to love and care after her had not been in vain, and instead of thinking that he didn’t exist, he was just making a better life for her in Texas.

  Acknowledgment

I want to thank all of the people in the romance book community that have been an inspiration for me to write this book. I also want to thank you, the reader, for deciding to read this book. It definitely took me longer than I had expected to get this out there, but I truly believe that good things can sometimes take time.
