“It’s all good,” Auden said from where he stood next to him. “They love us. A double wedding is a great idea.”

He opened his mouth to ask if the male was very certain of that, when the door at the back of the cafeteria opened and he sucked in a deep breath. His heart pounding in his ears, he waited until he could see the darker shadows of Rory, Jess, and Marcus, and then he pressed a button on the remote to turn on the candles and lights that had been strung up around the large room. They’d covered the windows with light-blocking material to make it private, and when they’d tested the lights out the day before he’d thought it looked pretty magical.

Rory gasped as the golden glow of the lights came on, and he smiled at her. It took a considerable effort, but he managed to not race down the aisle to hug and kiss her. Adriana and Celeste took the females behind a curtained changing area, and he could hear them speaking quietly but couldn’t make out what they were saying. No one was yelling or cursing, so he’d take that as a good sign.

“I hope they like what we did,” Auden whispered. “Jess said she wanted to get married, but now I’m wondering if she’ll be upset she didn’t get to plan anything. I mean, do females worry about that? Shit.”

Joss, who was officiating their wedding, chuckled. “Don’t suffer future worries.”

Tayme glanced at the alpha. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, don’t worry about it unless they tell you they’re pissed.”

  “Gotcha,” Auden said.

Celeste and Adriana gave them a thumbs up as they left the females and found their seats with their mates. Auden’s father, Eugene, escorted Jess, and Marcus escorted Rory. The moment Tayme saw his soulmate dressed in white and looking like an angel, he knew he’d made the right choice. She was positively beaming.

Music filled the air as the females walked to them. Marcus handed Rory to Tayme and she took his arm with a smile. “Hi,” she whispered.

“Are you surprised?” he whispered back.

“Absolutely. And I love it, and I love you.”

His bear chuffed out a relieved breath. “I love you, too.”

The ceremony was short and sweet, Joss presiding over the couples as the males vowed to love and treasure their females forever, and the females pledged the same to their soulmates. When Tayme put a platinum band on Rory’s finger and pulled her to him for their first kiss as husband and wife, he was so very thankful for the odd twists of fate that had allowed their paths to cross. If Jess hadn’t been shot, she’d never have crashed in the paddock and met Auden, and Rory would never have come to the park to bring supplies and caught his bear’s attention.

However strange the road to this destination was, he was glad for it. His soulmate was his best friend, and now she was also his wife. And absolutely the sweetest female he’d ever known. Their future was wide open, and he couldn’t wait to see what happened next.
