The Anatomy of Journey Page 39

by Rohit Nalluri

The entire universe died when he died; with him died all theory and science and law and morals; with him died religion and god and mythology and history; with him died memory and love and life and death; with him died meaning; with him died everything that he ever learnt and the possibility of discovery.

Beyond the gloves of identity, everything exists in a state of non-existence. There are no shapes in this one-dimensional world because shapes are an indication of identity and location and multi- dimensionality. This plane is everywhere, flowing through everything that exists like a dark, moving energy. It is a living, breathing host. Everything looks back at itself and ponders through the ages. Everything is in a state of constant self-observation. Everything is in the state of absolute Zazen.

This is the place for gestation, where thoughts are born from a sea of emptiness, the source of all creation. Time does not exist here, nor does Space. This is where the music falls to when it disappears between two notes of sound. This is that state of being where one becomes everything at once; a state where boundaries do not exist, where nothing moves as it has nowhere to move towards. All things are united here and there is no separation. If there is anything that is separate, then it does not have access to this state. This is a universe of black sleep, without dreams and without the thought of waking up.

  Darkness reigns.

  And darkness must create.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
